But you've grown up obviously over the two years while
you're waiting for it to come out, So you're going
to look at yourself back in time almost it's like
you're in a time machine.
Speaker 4 (00:32):
I saw a photo just this morning that I had
my two front teeth out here, I know, was standing
with my Koala suit on while we were filming The deb.

Oh really yeah, And so tell us about your role.
Who are you in it?
Speaker 4 (00:50):
I'm like, what they say, the middle child who just
gets forgotten all the time.
Speaker 5 (00:55):
And who's your mom, Rebel Wilson, that's a pretty good mum.
Speaker 4 (01:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
And what's your name in the movie?
Speaker 4 (01:02):
Kid Koala?
Speaker 3 (01:03):
Okay?
Speaker 5 (01:06):
And how often are you going to be in the movie?
Speaker 4 (01:09):
A few scenes, like probably most of the comedy scenes
because I'm just like this like little comedy person.
Speaker 3 (01:18):
Okay, and how'd you get the role?
Speaker 4 (01:20):
In my school, I started doing drama class and then
I asked my parents can I be in a movie?
And they said, well, not right now, but maybe when
you're older. And then I said, dang it. And then
my parents got invited to see me do this little scene.
I memorized all my lines and then when my parents
(01:41):
saw me, they were like, oh my gosh. And then
they got me an agent, yeah to be in a movie,
and they gave me the audition for the deb The
character was only allowed to be a Sydney character like
in Sydney based in Sydney. Rebel Wilson saw me and
she really wanted me into the deb so I got
the movie.
Speaker 5 (01:59):
So your manager said, oh, yeah, she's from Sydney, don't worry.
And then you really were from the Gold Coast?
Speaker 3 (02:04):
Is that what happened?
Speaker 1 (02:05):
Gold Coast is a suburb of Sydney.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
Yeah, we are really are just very very northern.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
The northern part of the city.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
What was it like filming?
Speaker 4 (02:15):
It was really fun Rebel like there would be a
line and then Rebel would like change the line to
make it funnier or more like better where I had
to say something or do something and I just loved
improvising with her.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
So is that something that you feel like that you're
good at, Like you've got you can learn your lines,
but you like to try other things when you're acting.
Speaker 5 (02:39):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (02:39):
Yeah, I like to like try trying new things. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (02:44):
And did you get to sing and dance as well?
Because it's a musical, isn't it?
Speaker 4 (02:47):
Yeah? One scene I won't tell much, but I had
to use a ukulele.
Speaker 3 (02:51):
Oh. And do you know how to play the ukulele?
Speaker 4 (02:55):
No, but I want to learn to. I'm trying to
learn to do the guitar.
Speaker 5 (03:00):
Okay, now you've had this big secret to sit on,
like for two years, you've been waiting for this film.
Speaker 3 (03:04):
Yeah, what do all your friends think? Are they all
going to come watch it?
Speaker 4 (03:07):
No? One of my I have this acting friend, he's
going to come watch it. Yeah yeah, yeah, he also
does acting.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
Actually, there's a lot of nerdy, naughty words in it,
isn't there? So maybe you're how old are you?

I'm ten going on forty, so.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
You'll be allowed to watch it. But there is a
bit of naughty words, isn't it?

to go and watch your movie?
