Speaker 1 (00:00):
So normally, you know, when I do came here for
the comments, it's for a bit of a laugh. This
is gonna be the opposite. This is saying that the
Internet is a beautiful space, and I came for the
comments to read how women are rallying around this IVF
mix up? Right, So this is quickly the story. A
young lady IVF baby decided to do a little bit
of a search through ancestry dot com because she was

(00:22):
struggling with her father. Okay, so she knew she was
an IVF baby, and so she went on ancestry dot
com and then she found out the absolute worst thing ever,
and it was that her mum was not her mum.
So there was an egg mix up in the IVF process.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
I've got something to tell you.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
I've done this ancestry test and it's comeback, but it's
not good.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
They just they just sort of said, there was a
mix up, mum. When we're not your biology children, what
are you talking about? You know, I know you were.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
How do you tell your mom she's not biologically your mum?

Speaker 2 (01:05):
It was awful. I broke her heart.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
My sister actually said it. First, she looked a mum
and she said, you asked, you're still my mum.

Speaker 4 (01:13):
Okay, so tell me what's happened to have they put
the wrong egg in? Yes, so basically she's carried that baby,
but it's with the wrong end. Yes.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
So thirty years ago IVF had she had twins. One
of the twins wanted to work out what was doing
with their dad and then discovered that her mum wasn't
her mum. So mix up of the eggs. Even the
health minister has become involved. And if you follow that story,
a seven thirty reporter answering every single person that's like,
where was this? Where was this? Because IVF mum's always

(01:43):
worry about that and you know that.

Speaker 4 (01:45):
I mean to the question comes up with one of
the mom's eggs going to someone else.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Yes, all of that is now being unpacked. Seven thirty
reporter doing like whose eggs was it? And all that
kind of stuff is happening. Definitely gosh, But I came
here for the comments because you know, I'm watching that
as an IVF mom And you know, if anyone ever
says Geese kids look like you, I'm like, thank you.
That's such a compliment, I mom, It is the best compliment.

Speaker 4 (02:11):
Come on doubting either of them are yours?

Speaker 1 (02:13):
I know, so I'm very happy about that. But these
are such beautiful comments and messages. So here's one. I'm
sorry this happened to you and your family. Your mom
loves you with all her being. That will never change.
I had a daughter two years ago with IVF, and
in my mind I'll forever wander too, but nothing would change.
Another one here, your mom still built your bodies with hers.

(02:35):
Maybe the initial coating is different, but your mom's blood
made your bones. You are hers.

Speaker 4 (02:44):
Beautiful.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Another one I would perhaps try to reframe this for myself.
It's possible that these specific embryos implanted perfectly with her own,
and maybe her own would have failed. Things happened for
a reason, as they should. So she was getting IVF,
her eggs weren't working, and so what a lovely way
to think of that. And then this one. I'm a

(03:06):
mom of a greyhound. I didn't birth a dog, but
she's my baby, she's mine, and I'm hers period.

Speaker 4 (03:13):
So true

Kingdom of Fraud

Kingdom of Fraud

It’s the unlikeliest of criminal partnerships: a devout polygamist from an insular Utah sect joining forces with a shadowy Armenian tycoon from LA. The result - a billion dollar fraud conspiracy. In Kingdom of Fraud, investigative reporter Michele McPhee traces the origins of the extraordinary alliance between Jacob Kingston and Levon Termendzhyan. Together, the two men trigger the largest tax investigation in American history and weave around themselves a web of dirty cops, influential political relationships and transnational money laundering. All this is set against the backdrop of Jacob Kingston’s clan – The Order. A powerful and secretive polygamist organization in Salt Lake City. To whom Jacob is desperate to prove his worth.
