Speaker 1 (00:00):
I'm a celebrity. Get me out of here. It's on
Channel ten again and we love it, mainly because of
Robert Irwin. But Matt Sagowski got eliminated last night and
we've got him on the phone.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
Good morning, Good morning, guys. How are we We're great?
Speaker 1 (00:11):
How are you feeling? Because it's a bit of a
weird one from our perspective. Normally, when we're talking to
the people evicted from the jungle, they're still in the
jungle and they're starving and they're slept deprived and they've
got itches and scratches. But this has been filmed differently
this year, and you've been home and able to watch
yourself on TV.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
Yeah, it was a little different watching it back. I
mean I saw bits that I didn't even realize it happened,
or bits that I'd forgotten. So that was interesting and
fun to watch while everybody else was Did.
Speaker 1 (00:37):
You sit down and watch it and how did you
feel watching it?
Speaker 3 (00:40):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (00:41):
I sat down with my family each night and watched it.
It's good. There was bits in there that, like, you know,
it was hard to watch back, like when I was
on the Heights thing. Yeah, it was pretty it was
pretty hard. To watch back. But a lot of it
was fun. A lot of it was good fun.
Speaker 3 (00:57):
You were you showed a lot of emotion at times.
We have seen sort of that from you on other
TV shows that you've been on as much. How was
it first of all, been in the situation where you
sort of pulled your heart out a little bit, But
also then watching that.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
Back, I actually watched it when I spoke about my
mum back with my mum, and that was quite emotional.
We both had tears, and yeah, it was nice. It
was a nice moment to share though.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
Yeah, no, you obviously we're Gold Coast Radio stations, so
we have to ask because you had a big wedding
here and everything to Tammy, you opened up about a
bit of that. How's the response been.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
Obviously when that all happened, we both kept well, we
both kept quiet on it and all that sort of stuff.
So yeah, people have definitely been shared the love and
that I think they get a bit better understanding of
what actually happens now.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
What actually happened.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
I am not going to say anything else, That's all
I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (01:45):
I understand that I had to try. Yeah, Yeah, we
asked the questions and we see what's going to come out.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I don't blame you. I bar was you.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
I do say, yeah, you get it, you get the game,
you're in it.
Speaker 3 (01:58):
If we were asked, if we were to ask her
same question, what would she say?
Speaker 2 (02:06):
Try it again?
Speaker 1 (02:08):
No comment? Now we should unpack some of the other
celebs in there. Denny Hines went out pretty quickly. What
were your thoughts on Denny?
Speaker 2 (02:19):
Look, I think she's a fire cracker. She's she sticks
like she's She's very vocal in her opinions, and I
got along with her. I like Kenny.
Speaker 3 (02:28):
I think the funny thing is, over a long period
of time, you just hear different rumors, and a lot
of those rumors lean into what we saw on the Telly.
So sometimes where they smoke this fire.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
Well, well, I don't know. I've heard a lot of
rumors about myself over the years, Mate that I go, oh,
that's it, that's a new one.
Speaker 1 (02:45):
What's the worst rumor you've heard that? You're just like,
that's not true. Get over that, everyone.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
I mean, I've heard rumors of me in places that
I didn't even know existed, like there was on the
Gold Coast. What's that bakery call bombon and bang bang
or something like. I heard Bam bam and I was etla.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
So there was a rumor you ate a cake from
Bam bams and that was an outrageous rum.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
Yeah, he's broken his clean diet.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
It was.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
Something else.
Speaker 3 (03:13):
It's a little bit of fun It is funny though,
I mean when you've got a little bit of celebrity
that the different things that are made up and yeah,
yeah what you can hear. I suppose we wouldn't know
you'd be used to that a little bit more now.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
Yeah, I mean it depends though, like some of the
stuff really like come on, guys, do you not have
like hobby? Or is that someone house it's knocking around
that looks like me? So I'm like, good looking, good looking,
good looking rooster?
Speaker 1 (03:38):
Then go you all right, Well you've done a few
of these TV shows? Now which one next? Who's knocking
on the door? Who's asked you to go on their shows?
Speaker 2 (03:50):
There's always stuff, but I can't say anything unless it's
one hundred percent, so that's all. That's Yeah, that's interesting.
Speaker 1 (03:57):
That means that there is possibly another one in the future.
Are we going to see more?
Speaker 2 (04:00):
Always? Yeah, there's always tough things, trawing around.
Speaker 1 (04:03):
All right, Well, okay, give some advice. You obviously like
going on these shows. Why and why should we apply
for them? Obviously it's changed your life.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
Well, originally I went on Love Island and if anyone
wants to apply for Love Ireland apply if you're trying
to find someone that's not going to work out with.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
It, all right, there you go, I love it.
Speaker 3 (04:25):
All right, Matte. Well, thanks for your time this morning, mates,
and good luck with your next Yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:29):
Do you want to say herded Tammy? She might be listening, joking.
Speaker 3 (04:35):
Very funny, it's better than my question. Mine was who's
your favorite Geelong football?
Speaker 1 (04:41):
Was your favorite hair bro?
Speaker 3 (04:44):
Anyway? If we don't laugh, we'll crime Matte alright, all
the best fun.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
We'll see you on the next TV show.
