GeekCypha 455 Euphoria’s Identity Crisis | Superman Sequel Casting, Avatar Leaks & Megaman Legends

Description: GeekCypha Episode 455 brings the heat as we tackle the timeline's current favorite punching bag: is the Euphoria hate actually justified, and why does it feel like the fans won't let the series grow up? We’re also talking major casting wins with Gen V and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star Jaz Sinclair confirmed for Montreal Comiccon, alongside Adria Arjona securing the bag as Maxima in DC Studios’ upcoming Superman: Man Of Tomorrow. The media landscape is moving completely unhinged right now, from The Audacity dropping its premiere in a wild 21-part TikTok rollout, to Saturday Night Live officially shifting its Canadian broadcast over to CTV and Crave. Speaking of SNL, we shine a light on Colman Domingo’s heartfelt curtain speech dedicated to little boys & girls in inner cities. On the movie front, horror fans are eating good with Osgood Perkins and Nicolas Cage linking up for a new Longlegs movie at Paramount, though that same studio is catching serious heat for messing up the highly anticipated The Legend of Aang leak. We also air out some long-overdue grievances—mainly why Nickelodeon needs to finally let Spongebob rest in peace—before unpacking the gritty street-level action of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Episode 5, turning the pages of Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord, and taking a heavy nostalgia trip by booting up the PS1 classic Megaman Legends on the PS3.
