The Origins of Halloween (Remastered) | Samhain, Druids & Ancient Traditions with Luke Eastwood

Where did Halloween really come from?

In this remastered episode of Generation X Paranormal, Logan and Nicole explore the fascinating origins of Halloween by tracing its roots back to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain. Joining us is author and practicing Druid Luke Eastwood, who shares his knowledge of Celtic history, spirituality, and the traditions that helped shape one of the world's most recognizable holidays.

Together, we examine how Samhain marked the transition between seasons, why ancient Celtic communities believed the boundary between the living and the dead became thinner during this time, and how those beliefs gradually evolved into many of the Halloween customs we know today. From spirits and bonfires to costumes, folklore, and modern celebrations, we explore the historical and cultural traditions that continue to influence Halloween around the world.

Rather than separating history from the paranormal, this conversation reveals how ancient beliefs, folklore, and spiritual traditions became the foundation for many of today's supernatural stories.

Whether you're fascinated by Halloween history, Samhain, Celtic traditions, Druids, mythology, or the origins of paranormal folklore, this episode offers a thoughtful and historically grounded look at one of the year's most celebrated holidays.

This remastered edition features enhanced audio, making it the perfect time to revisit one of our favorite conversations.
