Darius, you get your first two solo sacks of the season.
You would had a half earlier this year, But what
was going right for you today that allows you to
get to golf twice.

For me, it's just been the whole season, stacking the practice,
trusting my best, trusting my coaches.

That's what happened for me today. I just stick to
the plan and today.

And so how difficult is it to go against this defense?
Only they have two terrific running backs and they can
run the ball well. But at the same time, you
also know you have to get to golf.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
For us, just focusing on stopping the run game and
then get to the quarterback when we can. We're a
very good defense over here, and as a d line
group we try to do our best as we can,
and in the secondary they do it as well.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
So we just worked together and try and come out
with a good game.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
How difficult is it to deal with Gibbs? It seems
as though even if he gets the smallest crack as
we saw today, he can take it the distance.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
I mean, like you said, he a very expensive player.
You just got to content him in the run game.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
Take it. What a small crease is and just make
them stop his feet.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
How difficult is the mentality at the end of a
fourth quarter knowing that you guys have been snake bitting
the number of times this year? How hard is it
for the defense to try to hold on to the
lead in the situation such as today.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
I wouldn't say it's hard, but for us, we just
got to stay calm and big moments and just stick
together as a defense. That's the most important thing right there,
And I don't think it's no other way to do it,
but stay focused the word together, and.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
It's quite clear that you guys continue to show fight
all the way to the end, even if the execution
isn't where it's supposed to be.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Definitely, always, that's something we want to pride ourselves on
as a defense, as a D line and as the
whole of the team.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
Just fight to the end, never give up.
