Pentagon’s Cloud Strategy Just Opened the Door for Small GovCon Tech Firms

The Department of Defense is undergoing a major strategic overhaul of its cloud procurement, moving beyond its current flagship contract, the Joint Warfighting Cloud Capability (JWCC). • More Subcontracting: Even under the existing JWCC, and certainly with JWCC Next, opportunities for subcontracting on value-added services like cloud migration, legacy app modernization, cybersecurity configuration, and DevSecOps pipeline setup are expanding.
