(00:03):
Away in the ambiance and night.I'm gonna keep it flat. Tears on
the line, so CLA, allright, vibes are right, ambiance is

(00:33):
right. This is a bottle ofvery frost, pity of light, Advanced
care electrolyte solution. This is notan ad. I am not drinking at
the moment. I've been drinking allfucking weekend. I'm in Las Vegas.
We're recording their live in living color. I'll get into why I'm here and
all the Shenanigans, or some ofthem. I guess I can't really tell
you what the Shenanigans are. Justknow that there are some. There have

(00:55):
been some having a great trip, but damn, I'm getting my ass kicked
out here. Vegas is no joke. Obviously I've been here before, but
this is like my first time.Like, Okay, we're doing everything all
the time, go go go,and it's been fun and amazing. But
I need this pedia light I pickedup when I got here. I don't
know how much it costed me.The berry frost is better than the red

(01:18):
kind. I don't know what theflavor that was just scraped it. Um
let me tell you some shit aboutit, though. One hundred calories per
container um, lots of zinc chloride, potassium um um. No real fruit
juice in this, So that's that'sthat's unfortunate. What's it really tastes like
though, DT Well, first andforemost, it tastes like um, a

(01:41):
diet freeze pop by itself. SoI like to put some water in mine
and mix it up, just todilute the ship a little bit. I
don't know this. It's and thisis let me tell you, this is
the advanced care kind you see, because you can just get the regular pedia
light. I said, let meget the fast effective rehigh dration. This
is ridiculous, oss. Do notadd water or dilute. Oops, because

(02:07):
I was gonna say what it reallyactually tastes like is that it's not actually
doing shit. I think that thathas to do with the heat, the
copious amount of drinking I've been doing, the stogies that I've been smoking,
like fucking chain cigarettes. It's justyeah, I'm we're living it up.
I'm doing it up. It's beenfun. Which is gonna make this episode
a very short and simple and concise. This is another episode of a podcast

(02:30):
called Grab a Glasses by Yours trulyDavid time. It's better known as DC
Matt Boys, also known as theone only Big Broccolini episode once eight.
If this is your first time listeningto this, I apologize because I'm in
We're out here, We are outhere. I got home at four thirty

(02:51):
last night. Yeah, I almostjust burped freaking tequila up. So it's
your first time, My apologies. If this is you're one hundred and sixty
eight time, you know that thishas happened once before, when Ronick and
I had our one year anniversary sortof wedding party in Chicago. I recorded

(03:12):
most of the podcast beforehand, butI wanted to add a piece at the
end where I came home and recordedafter that crazy party that we had and
all the crazy shit that happened afterwards. And so this is the second time
that this will happen, where Iam operating at two miles per hour,
two percent and just giving you whatI got. But I do want to

(03:36):
do is tell a quick story aboutthis trip. If you know anything about
Vegas, you know that the minuteyou get out here, it's just like
overload and everything here is money money. Money. They're selling you celebrities and
sex and this and that it's justa very sexy place. And what's so

(03:59):
interesting about it is the fact thatthroughout the week, I would say,
because NBA Summer League is here andthere's all types of residencies, everything's going
on once I'm going to avoid thetopics of Victor Rebin Yabba's security allegedly slapping
Britney Spears. I'm going to avoidthe fact that Usher's residency somehow it has

(04:21):
gotten Kicky Palmer in trouble with herbaby's father and they're beefing. None of
that. I'm not telling you nothingabout none of that. I don't know
nothing about that. That's not whyI'm here, That's not what we're doing.
I fly Southwest, and usually I'mvery good about checking into my flight
the minute the second it's available.Missed the boat on that was working,

(04:45):
and decided that I was going toquote unquote splurge and pay the forty dollars
to be in the eight room. The A one through fifteen. I think
I was A eleven. So asI'm walking to the airport for this trip,
or walking to my gate, ishould say, all I see someone
see someone from a far that Ithink I recognize not that I know them
personally, but that that person's facelooks familiar to me. Closer I get

(05:06):
to it, I realized it's oneof the Portland Trailblazers, really good player.
He's only three or four spots aheadof me in line. Now for
me, that forty dollars, itdidn't hurt, but I would have rather
not pay that. That's not somethingtypical. I was going to be in
the Z group, So I decidedto let me just pay it one time.

(05:26):
I'm going to Vegas anyways. MaybeI can win it back, which
I don't gamble, and I havenot gambled one dollars since I got here,
So I don't know why I saidthat, but you know, you
can venu Ah. Maybe I'll bein the mood as I realize who it
is, and the fact that he'sonly four spots ahead of me, and
me thinking to myself interesting that hewould even be on the commercial flight like
this for something like Summer League, and the fact that he's you know,

(05:50):
I paid my forty dollars and he'sthree spots ahead of me. That's that
just interested me. So I dothis often. I should stop doing this,
but I did it once I goton the flight, got the Wi
Fi and googled what he makes. Now, this man, this young man
who clearly is treating his money correctly, way better than me, because he

(06:12):
makes triple digit times what I makeannually. It just got me thinking about
as you're heading to a place that'sall about money and profit and trying to
flip pay for your trip, etc. Etc. And how there's so many
different people in these casinos and atthese parties and what have you. And

(06:35):
it just got me thinking, like, holy shit, the things that some
of us put stock into other ofother of us that could have twenty times
that don't even care. Because whenI did land and I did step outside,
and the minute that wind blew andit was hyped, the breeze makes
it hotter here, I forgot thatI've been here twice before. I forgot

(06:58):
how bad that can be. Isaw another player about the same age.
Actually, I think this player hasactually been in the league longer, doesn't
make half as much, was farmore flashy than this other player that I'd
seen at the airport getting on myflight. Just something to think about,
like how do we treat money andhow it treats us and how do we

(07:19):
treat anything. It's the way thatit probably will come back to us and
treat us. I don't. I'llgive up flowers. Let's give flowers out
now, because I, like Isaid, I'm struggling. I got cotton
mouth. This is a difficulty andI didn't listen to shit, so flash
only is not happening. Y'all tellme what I missed, but let me
give us some flowers and tell youthe reason why I'm here. Okay,

(07:42):
I got bouquet of blessings here,I got some flowers to give out twenty
twenty three. I'm giving out flowers. I'm giving flowers to a person,
group or entity for something dopeest fuckwho we call that? Here, bouquet
of blessings on grab a glass.I'm gonna give flowers to the person who's
hosting this spachelor party, my homiek Shwo brother. Here goes your flowers.

(08:03):
An excellent, well organized bachelor partythat brought together a bunch of group
of men. Some of us knoweach other well, others are from different
pockets. And the way that casewill put this together, nobody's skipped a
beat. And that doesn't shock mebecause when you think about the way that

(08:26):
you conduct yourself and the people youhave around you. It would only make
sense that, even though I don'tknow that brother over there, if we
both fun with him and he's astand up dude, he's good, I'm
immediately going to get along with him, at least for enough time for a
weekend. He had an excellently plannedWe've done so many life altering, really

(08:46):
cool, once in a lifetime opportunities, or at least it would be for
a number of people. And thetrip has been fantastic, very very thoughtful,
nothing like you would think for abachelor party, because even though we're
having a lot of fun and we're, you know, really enjoying the time

(09:07):
that we have here, it's justbeen full of respect. Every restaurant we've
been to, the staff has saidhow great we've been, et cetera,
et cetera, And so it's beena beautiful experience. And I can't wait
for your wedding, man, Butthank you for putting this together and allowing
us to celebrate you. That's allI got. You can hear my voice
is going a little bit. Youknow, I'll be back next week.

(09:30):
We'll we'll we'll make up for itand the show and all the elements to
it, for sure. But Igotta say, if you guys get a
chance to get out here, firstoff, save your money, okay,
and make sure that you you checkinto your flight on time so you don't
got to pay that four dollars andthen be right next to a millionaire and
figure out that Wait a minute,we pay the same amount of money like
I should have my my brokeass shouldhave been in the Z group. I

(09:52):
should have. Take care of eachother, man, take care of yourselves.
I'll talk next week. We'll talknext week. It'll be good.
Um. One more ask of you, all, one more ask. A
lot of you have already followed meon threads. I don't even know what
all I'm gonna do with that, but I don't plan on taking it seriously,
So follow me there for more funnyshit. I'm not We're not gonna

(10:15):
overdo it over there. That coolwith everybody, Okay, cool beat.
Much loved to the creators, muchmuch loved to the creators, but much
loved to the group that I'm withhere. No matter your flavor, May
God forever be in our favor.AYO, cheers everybody, Thanks for listening,
