Welcome to Episode #103 of the Great American Whiskey Cookers! In this podcast, we take you on an immersive adventure to St. Louis, Missouri and Still 630 Distillery. Join us as we delve into what makes this such a unique distillery.
Distillers have to think years ahead on any of their special releases. It's a guessing game most of the time of what will be popular in 5, 7, even 10 years from now. Dave Weglarz at Still 630, took it one step further and when he was distilling in 2019, had the idea of laying down barrels to commemorate America's 250th Birthday. One barrel for every month in 2026 representing important dates for America. It's a single barrel release that is also a vertical release. Talk about innovative. Check out the episode to see what Still 630 has going on with these barrels.
