Every week Vincent Zambon hosts, Grub One Out. A true sit down where he and his guests talk anything food. They touch on horrible meals, eating from the dumpster, making sandwiches without bread, and any autodidact food thing his guest(s) would like to admit. If you had to google “autodidact” then you did the definition.
And the shows back! Today’s episode I have 3 separate mini interviews with comics Harry Landry, Troy Duchane, and Leon Blanda on their red beans and rice tactics. We dive into cheap meals, and a chat little bit about comedy. Oh wow! But enjoy the episode!
If you have any red beans and rice secrets, or cooking advice you would like to share, let me know and I’ll share it here on the pod.

Another Mardi Gras in the books and not one slice of king cake. Maybe I just wanted to skip a year. Sometimes it’s just not what you want to eat. I’ll be ready for some next year, though. Not skipping two years! Anyway, we have a nice GOO for you today. Pour yourself a whiskey and settle in.

Hey everybody! I missed last week! My bad. A lot of work going on, but don’t plan on that happening again unless I slip and pop my head on the counter. Today I talk some comedy and when I featured for Steve Byrne two weeks ago. I also chat about making double boiled fries, and I sort of figure out how to make Mongolian beef. Swing on in.

Fun episode right here. I got on the road to do a little stand up. Ate some nachos, made a couple sandwiches, and popped a couple grapes! The green ones. Those are better. I also chit on learning guitar, and then I chat about getting Jimmy Page’s autograph when I was a wee lad. Get into some GOO, y’all. There’s some farts at the very end! There Will Be Farts.

Today’s Grub One Out, I talk with myself about some weekend meals! Had some great gumbo over at R & O’s in Bucktown. It was a treat! Also, I have a chat with my little nephew on the show. He’s the best! Plus, I tell a little story about pankcakes when I lived in Italy for a month when I was twelve.

This past week i enjoyed hanging out with some comics, and eating the same old same old. Except for last Tuesday where things didn’t go so well after a Door Dash. I gave a bad review to the restaurant I ordered from, and the communication with them has me a little confused!
Also, I had a good times at my shows this past Friday & Saturday night. Friday night, that crowd was hammered, but I loved them! Enjoy this weeks GOO!
Today I talk about some New Years red beans and rice, and why I don’t use the damn Blue Runner red beans. I also did a New Years show, and get into talking about fights at bars back when I was a bouncer at Grits bar. That was a wild time.
Oh yeah, I had some Waffle House!

Did all kinds of meals this past week. Had some good and weird shows, and Christmas weekend was a hoot! I screwed up some Door Dash orders, too. Come hang out.

I'm back and I lost all of my previous episodes. I'm a fool!
But I'm excited to get on the food chatter. This week I go into the comedy show I had this past weekend, plus all the munching that went down in the french quarter.
