Of the Heart: Bird Mejia

In this heartfelt episode, I sit down with the Bird Mejia, the first in 500 years in her indigenous Mexican lineage that can safely say she works as a Medicine woman, mentor, guide, as she shares her powerful journey of grieving her mother's passing and healing their bond through spirit. Bird reflects on how, even in a deep time of collective unrest, we can still hold ourselves in the wisdom of our heart. She also tells us about her connection with Cacao and how she shares it for her own healing and with others. At the end, we close with her gently guiding us through a meditation to reconnect with your own heart space.
