Resurrecting Old Hobbies (or embracing new ones) In Retirement

  A couple of months ago, I made up my mind to begin learning the guitar. For over 45 years, I've owned a guitar. Not the same one the entire time, but I've always had a guitar (in a case) sitting within 10 feet of me in my home office. But...I've never learned how to play. As I approached my 68th rotation around the sun, I figured, "It's now or never!" I choose NOW. Since then I've had numerous conversations, some of them with you guys, who are approaching retirement and dreaming (or planning) to resurrect old hobbies, or embrace new ones.
