Adam Nicholls is a professor at the University of Hull. He researches the factors that predict doping among adolescent athletes, as well as how athletes cope and manage their emotions. His research has been funded by organisations including the International Olympic Committee and The World Anti-Doping Agency. He also won the silver medal in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at the 2021 British Open..
