(00:00):
What's up homie?

(00:06):
Never thought I wanted to make it to 30, but here I am knocking on the door.
I would love to tell you that things have gotten better and that being an adult is as
easy and fun as you think it is.
However, it brings its own challenges.

(00:26):
I know you thought being and becoming a man would bring less challenges and doing what
you want to do means that nobody challenges you.
A kid who hates being challenged because all he wants to do is feel hurt.
Listen man, you're important and I want you to know that what you have to say is justified.

(00:56):
It's just if you only slow down, you know I know it's hard to slow down with all the
things that you have going on in your mind.
I know you feel lonely and misunderstood.
I know you feel like everywhere you go, people don't think like you.

(01:22):
I know your own twin doesn't care to understand you because he's tired of being a twin.
Like that's my fault.
I know you bottle things up because you don't want to feel them.
I know you feel like you just give the fuck about things a lot more than other people

(01:46):
do.
It's okay to be confident.
It's okay to be strong.
It's okay to feel left out.
It's okay to feel like a misfit because you're not meant to fit in, you're meant to soar

(02:12):
so that you can come back and tell the people who won't listen to what you saw anyways,
what you saw.
You know I know you feel like you're the boy who cried wolf, but before crying anything,
they tell you you're talking about a wolf when you come to tell them about something
else.

(02:33):
Realize not everybody needs to hear your voice.
And know this every day you will be challenged.
Every breath you will be challenged.
To the boy that was called bad kid by everyone you loved and even to the point that you embodied

(02:58):
it so that it became easier for you just to annoy people than to get them to understand
you.
That was definitely fun, but secretly you wanted them to like you for whatever reason.
I really don't understand.

(03:22):
But those who knew you knew your heart and what message your aura sent and that was love
and a safe space.
Now this part has gotten you into the most of trouble with the ladies and always will,
but know that there will always be ladies to comfort, but there is only one you to go

(03:42):
around so treat yourself like it.
Or you'll continue to find yourself entrapped in temporary pleasures that those women can
easily find from the men lurking for opportunities to trick them.
Unfortunately you can't save them all.
This is why you never fit in with the fellas because it wasn't just about sports and pussy

(04:05):
with you.
It was about understanding anything you were a part of and so much that it annoyed the
fellas and impressed the young women that you were around.
You are meant to love on a scale that cannot be just given to the next woman in distress.

(04:25):
Don't save them.
Don't save these hoes man.
I'm trying to tell you.
It'll get you in trouble.
These things, some of these things I'm going to mention now I need you to know.
I need you to know that you are stronger than you know.
I need you to know that life is hard.

(04:55):
That you're not a bad kid.
Or you're not the bad twin.
You can't always have things handed to you.
And if you want things handed to you then work hard.
You're precisely as strong as you need to be.

(05:18):
I was watching this show Young Sheldon recently and it talked about how gravity is like super
precise and without the precision of gravity things would just fall apart and he said you
are precisely as strong as you need to be and I think that's one of the most important

(05:42):
things I want to tell.
I want to tell my young self man it's um, you're strong.
You're not alone.
Don't let people take advantage of you.

(06:04):
I was often taken advantage of in different ways but don't let people take advantage of
your kindness.
Don't let people take advantage of your love.
Don't let people take advantage of your heart.
Don't let people take advantage of your mind.

(06:28):
You are loved.
You are heard.
You are important.
You are seen.
And know that your aura brings people comfort and understand and use that wisely.

(06:48):
Look on your wisdom, the patience to know when to deploy your knowledge.
And it's okay to be a kid.
You're still a kid in size 14 shoes.
But if you embrace all of your journey and not the beautiful parts you'll see it was

(07:11):
all beautiful.
You are always where you need to be.
I love you.
And nothing can stop you from being yourself but yourself.
