Buckle up buttercup! Because today I’m going there. I’m going to get down and dirty and talk about a subject that soooooo many people struggle with but nobody wants to talk about! Poop! You heard me right, today we are talking poop. This is Part 2 of a Toxic Body Cannot Lose Weight; What Your Poo Says About You.

Today we are looking at detoxification through elimination. As you heard on last week’s podcast, I outlined why a toxic body cannot lose weight. Toxins are stored in our fat cells. So, if feeling better and losing weight is our goal, then detox is a must.

Our body has an amazing detoxification system in place and we need to make sure it is working properly!  Elimination is the primary way for us to eliminate toxins.  Join me as we get down and dirty into the subject that plagues so many.  Potty talk is a taboo subject for discussion.  However, I have seen how many people are living with either constipation or diarrhea and it is making their life absolutely miserable.  Yes, bathroom habits dramatically affect your quality of life!

Join me as I give you the low down on what a good poop should look like and smell like and address how often you should go. Yes, there is a gold standard of poop! This practical podcast dives in and gives you 7 tips to help you detox and turn your poop problems around.  WARNING...this discussion is rated PG (Pretty Gross) as we chat all the details about what your poo says about you today on Healthy Harmony!

Dr. Death

We’re at our most vulnerable when we go to our doctors. We trust the person at the other end of that scalpel. We trust the hospital. We trust the system. Christopher Duntsch was a neurosurgeon who radiated confidence. He claimed he was the best in Dallas. If you had back pain, and had tried everything else, Dr. Duntsch could give you the spine surgery that would take your pain away. But soon his patients started to experience complications, and the system failed to protect them. Which begs the question: who - or what - is that system meant to protect? From Wondery, the network behind the hit podcast Dirty John, DR. DEATH is a story about a charming surgeon, 33 patients and a spineless system. Reported and hosted by Laura Beil.
