A single thought you almost dismiss can be the doorway to a completely different future. We return with part two on “Qadr Reveal” and challenge the passive way many of us relate to Qadr, as if life is simply happening to us while we wait. Instead, we explore how Allah has made an ocean of possibilities available, and how your lived reality is shaped by the thoughts you repeatedly select, feel, act on, and turn into outcomes.

We talk about why your environment matters so much: fear, limitation, and cynicism shrink what your mind can even perceive, while expansion through reflection, coaching, worship, and higher-level conversations widens your field of options. We also dig into the uncomfortable truth that growth can feel dangerous at first. When a Qadr Reveal arrives, your nervous system may label it unrealistic or selfish because it threatens an old identity. The work is not forcing certainty. The work is learning to hold the seed of a new idea long enough for it to take shape.

You will also hear practical examples, including money beliefs, halal investing, entrepreneurship, and a surprisingly deep vacation-planning scenario that shows how asking “how” too early can shut down the very insight you were given. If you want Islamic personal development tools, mindset coaching rooted in faith, and a clearer way to think about nervous system regulation and conscious choice, this conversation will give you a grounded next step. Subscribe, share with a friend who needs expansion, and leave a review. What “impossible” thought keeps repeating in your mind?

I invite you to join The Ummi Collective. It is a weekly coaching program for Muslim mothers raising children on the autism spectrum.

Inside, you learn how to support your child’s development in a way that builds independence, confidence, and long-term success... without losing yourself in the process.

SPEAKER_00 (00:04):
Welcome to Islamic Life Coach School Podcast.
Apply tools that you learn inthis podcast and your life will
be unrecognizably successful.
Now your host, Dr.
Kamal Akhtar.
Hello, hello, hello everyone.
Peace and blessings be upon allof you.
Today I return to you with parttwo of the concept about Qadr
Reveal.

(00:25):
Every environment is constantlyshaping the range of thoughts
available to you.
If you're surrounded by fear andlimitation, exhaustion and
cynicism, your perceptual fieldof possibilities will narrow.
Your mind will recycle smallerand smaller versions of reality.
But when you expose yourself toexpansion and regulation, you

(00:49):
become up leveled in your ownhealing and refinement.
You engage in higher level ofconversations, you get coaching,
you travel, you reflect, youperform spiritually grounded
worship.
With that, your awareness willbegin to encounter thoughts that
your old identity could notaccess.

(01:09):
You yourself do not know whichfuture Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
has allowed to become possiblefor you, at least not yet, and
instead of seeing thatuncertainty as terrifying, I
want you to understand it as thegreatest opportunity of your
life, because hidden inside thisunknown is the fact that your
current reality is not the onlyavailable reality.

(01:33):
There are futures that you havenot accessed yet.
There are versions of youavailable that you haven't
currently aligned yourself withyet.
Most Muslim women think thatQadr is something that happens
to them while they stand therepassively waiting to see what
unfolds.
But your active participation inQadr is not only possible, it is

(01:55):
highly recommended.
What is possible for you in thefuture is contingent on what you
start to believe now, and youhave no limitation on what you
can believe.
So an example I had given isthat future Qadr is an ocean of
possibilities that exist, andyou have a choice of picking one

(02:16):
drop of that ocean, which is athought that when expanded on
creates an outcome in your life.
And when you pick that thoughtwith awareness, with intention,
you can create a future outcomefor yourself.
Because Allah subhanahu wata'ala is able to create any
future possible for you, but youneed to rely on your mind as a

(02:39):
vehicle, as a wasila for whatyou can make reality in the
future.
Allah creates out of nothing, you have your intelligence, your
awareness to create from.
That is the Wasila you need torely on to create the future.
What is happening is that youalready constantly reaching into

(03:00):
that ocean and selecting athought.
That thought becomes an emotion, emotion becomes a behavior, and
behavior becomes the outcome.
That is what creates the result.
You're currently living thecumulative effect of all of
those results in your life.
Now wouldn't be great if youpracticed some choice, some

(03:21):
agency about what thought youselect, since I mean it's gonna
shape your future and all, somight as well do it with
awareness.
And the way I like to simplifyit is that your life is not a
sequence of events happening toyou, it is a sequence of chosen
perceptions.
This is why some people canaccess a broader range of

(03:44):
possibilities than others.
Your nervous system regulationaffects your perception, and
your openness to being flexiblewith that perception is where
the possibility of changeoccurs.
Your qadr contains reality thatyou have not yet perceived, and
how you discern between thoserealities is the difference

(04:06):
between expansion andrestriction.
If as a Muslim woman you'reliving your life subconsciously
believing that wealth belongs toother people, that are men, that
are entrepreneurs, that haveprivilege, that understand
money, so when you hear someoneexplaining halal investing in a
simple way, you're not evengoing to be open to understand

(04:29):
it.
Except if you allowed yourselfthe possibility, the possibility
to think differently, to open toa new future, and that is that
maybe wealth is also spirituallyavailable to you, in which case
you will allow yourself thechance to understand how halal
investments work, whatentrepreneurship is actually

(04:52):
like.
Even if you don't understandthese things, you're gonna allow
yourself to make mistakes andcontinue to learn, which will
completely change the trajectoryof your life.
Initially, when you allowedyourself that belief, that
moment is not going to be aboutwealth in that moment.
You haven't made any money yet,but that moment is about access.

(05:13):
If you stay with the thoughtlong enough instead of
dismissing it that yes, money isavailable for me also, your
confidence and your behavioraround money is going to change.
And this is why Kadar Revealthoughts matter so much, because
your entire future can beginwith a single thought that you

(05:34):
almost ignored.
Transformation does not happenwhen circumstances change.
It happens much earlier thanthat.
It happens in a moment when anew possibility becomes
cognitively available to you.
This is why protecting yourawareness is extremely
important.
All of your thoughts are notsitting in your skull passively,

(05:56):
they compete with your realityconstantly.
So if you are working to believea new thought, it can feel
uncomfortable because it willthreaten your stability of who
you currently are.
The Kadr Reveal says you do nothave to stay loyal to your
current identity, and yournervous system will experience

(06:17):
that as danger beforeexperiencing it as freedom.
You might resort to thoughtslike this is unrealistic, this
is not for someone like me.
I could never.
People like me don't do that.
It's too late, it's selfish,it's impossible.
In which case your Kadr Revealthought arrived, meaning you had

(06:38):
access to creating a differentfuture for yourself, but it was
not held long enough for it togrow.
Kadr reveal is a seed.
It is not an oak tree in thebeginning.
It is not a fully formedblueprint.
You have to allow it to exist inyour mind without any

(06:59):
unnecessary meddling for it totake shape.
You have to allow it to exist inyour mind and not necessarily
have to take immediate action onit.
It will grow if allowed to existin your awareness and
consciousness alone.
And this is important becauseyou will stop obsessing over
forcing your answers.
You're gonna start prioritizingopenness, and you're not gonna

(07:22):
be attached to certainty thatmuch.
You're gonna become someone whonotices what is a thought that
keeps repeating itself in mymind.
You're gonna be okay withsitting with questions like what
possibilities have I not allowedmyself to consider?
And you're gonna be open toallow yourself to ask what other
reveals have I already receivedthat I've dismissed because they

(07:45):
deconstruct my current reality.
Ultimately, your life is acumulative result of which
thoughts you repeatedly channelinto action, and somewhere
inside that infinite range ofthoughts that are available to
you, you have thoughts that youhaven't accessed yet.
A Kadarreveal is a cognitiveevent where your previously

(08:07):
unavailable future becomesmentally available.
Again, it does not have to beimmediately acted upon, although
it can be, but your immediateaction is not a requirement for
it to qualify as a cadre reveal.
And your access to thesethoughts is not passive either.
Your access into this awarenessis not neutral.

(08:29):
Your consciousness set pointdetermines what you can perceive
as a possibility.
And this moment of this liftingof the veil will not occur if
you're constantly in a lowconsciousness set point.
And this is why we work to raiseyour soulful intelligence.
And in my coaching program we doit by raising the quotient of

(08:50):
your soulful intelligence, orSQ, which is a measure of your
consciousness set point.
Because not every Kadir revealwill give you an even keel
experience.
Some will feel like curiosity, some will feel like downright
discomfort, and others mightfeel like a pull in your nervous
system that might createconfusion.

(09:12):
All of this does not mean thatyou have to reject what you're
coming across.
If your consciousness set pointis low, you're operating mostly
from primal and fear-basedthoughts, a high level Qadr
possibility will not feelinspiring.
It will feel unrealistic, eventhreatening.

(09:33):
Or you might even feelirresponsible for having those
thoughts.
The mind will immediatelycollapse back into fear and take
you back to your old familiarreality.
At low consciousness set point, your system cannot metabolize
what is being shown.
So a very transformative cadrerevealed thought will show up,

(09:55):
but it will not land because ithas no platform there for it to
land.
The thought in itself is nottransformative.
It is your ability to stay withit is what is transformative.
Your ability to mold it andmonitor it, and your ability to
allow it to evolve.
Kadr reveal is not passive, itrequires your active

(10:18):
participation, and thatparticipation starts with
healing your nervous system.
Because Muslims misunderstandQadr as something fixed that's
happening to them, and that theyare at the mercy of the Qadr,
this is rather tragic becauseembedded in this belief is a
sense of helplessness and lossof control.

(10:39):
And if you experience that as ahuman, you will try to control
everyone around you to gain thatsense of control back.
When your leadership in yourlife is not to control other
people, it's to control whatbelief you're going to choose
from the ocean of possibilitiesof belief.
That's where your choice lies.
If you have a very constrictedview of your Qadr, you're going

(11:02):
to lose your access to thatchoice.
For you to create the bestpossible Qadr outcome as it
relates to your future, you needto have the highest level of
alignment for you to even accessit.
That is where your control lies.
Your Qadr reveal is theinvitation.
Your internal state is whatdetermines if you will accept

(11:25):
that invite or not.
It's like you're getting aninvite to a very exclusive black
tie event that you were lookingforward to attend and you don't
even have a dress to wear.
What I'm saying is have a dressready so when that invite comes
you can accept it.
What you usually call thinkingis not thinking at all.

(11:47):
It's nervous system recyclingknown options.
And if you stay there, yourfuture Qadr will not expand no
matter how intelligent you are,no matter how motivated or
hardworking you are, your effortcan only take you that far.
After that, if any obstaclecomes, you will not be able to
overcome it.

(12:08):
The Qadr reveal and youracceptance to this invite is the
interruption of that obstacle,is your interruption of the
limitations in your life.
So if you're a woman whoseentire identity is built around
self sacrifice for nurturingothers, you may receive a Qadr
reveal about rest, pleasure, leadership, visibility, wealth,

(12:32):
boundaries, and you may feelimmediate guilt around all of
this because this is highlyunfamiliar to you instead of
feeling openness.
A man whose identity is builtaround control may receive a
Qadre reveal about beingvulnerable and experience it as
weakness instead of freedom andcompletely reject it.

(12:54):
At lower consciousness setpoint, all of high level ideas
enter, but they get dismissedalmost immediately because they
sound unrealistic or impossible.
The mind will reject thatpossibility in order to preserve
your stability.
The idea can come but it willleave just as fast.

(13:15):
But what happens at a higherconsciousness set point?
The same idea is held and it isexplored, it is recognized and
it is allowed to grow.
And the difference between thetwo is not your level of
intelligence, it is your levelof capacity.
Which means that this wholepractice of Kadar reveal is not

(13:36):
a practice to come up withbetter and better and more and
more ideas, although that mightbe a part of it.
The practice though is aboutbecoming someone who can stay
with what comes through withoutimmediately shutting it down.
Your Kadr reveal is a momentwhere something within your
written reality becomes visibleto you.

(13:56):
When you yourself don't dogrowth or healing work, you're
actively choosing to remainwithin a narrower bandwidth of
what is possibly available toyou.
So the question you have to askis what already exists for me
that I have not allowed myselfto see yet?
This shifts the limitation ofyour current field of awareness.

(14:19):
It expands the range of thoughtsyour system currently recognizes
as valid, and the idea could benovel or the idea could be old
and stale.
But if you see that idea througha different lens, something that
serves your future reality, thenyou will be more open to adopt
it.
All of the solutions to theproblems in your life are

(14:41):
already written within theinfinite range of what Allah has
made possible.
Sometimes it does look likenovelty, where a thought appears
that feels completely new, something that you've never
considered, and it carries acertain magnetic energy to it,
while other times it almostfeels frustratingly simple, like

(15:03):
you've heard it before, andmaybe even said it before.
But despite of the thought beingold, it has not affected you
like this before, and you startto view it in a different lens.
And in the moments if your mindfeels busy and noisy, where one
idea is coming after another, where you might not see all of

(15:24):
them is useful or profound, andyour instinct to shut all of
them down will be strong, I wantyou to stay with the ideas.
I want you to consider thepossibilities.
Because sometimes that's whathappens when you've opened the
channel of possibilities, thatideas flow through rapidly.
And when that flow is happening, your job is not to judge each

(15:46):
one in real time, but let thestream of that consciousness run
long enough for something deeperto surface.
Because if you interrupt it veryearly, you will collapse the
process back into the usualthinking patterns.
So allow your aha moment thespace that they deserve.
Also, if you believe that asolution must make sense

(16:08):
immediately, you will have atendency to reject ideas that
feel slightly off to you.
So allow all of thepossibilities without
interfering with the stream ofconsciousness.
The way for you to get access tothe future possibilities of
Kadar Reveals is by building theskill of not dismissing the

(16:29):
simple just because it's tooobvious, by not rejecting the
unfamiliar just because it feelstoo big, by not cutting off the
stream of thoughts because itfeels too unstructured.
You don't doubt the suddenclarity because it came too
easily.
When you consider all of thesepractices, this is going to feed

(16:50):
into building your skill ofopening yourself up to the other
possibilities.
Let's take an example ofvacations.
If you're sitting there thinkingabout them the way you always
have, maybe something practical, something familiar, something
that fits within the budget youhave.
And then a thought about thesolution comes in a way that

(17:12):
feels slightly out of place.
Something like I could take myfamily somewhere that completely
changes how we see the world.
And immediately your mind triesto shrink it, it starts to
calculate the costs andlogistics and school schedules,
it starts to force you to answerthe logistical questions, then
you might never discover whatthe original thought actually

(17:35):
meant.
Maybe that vacation looks likeyou packing up the stuff and
going to the beach.
This is how you were supposed tosee the world differently with
your family.
And maybe you've always had thebudget to it.
Or maybe the thought means thatyou're gonna fly across the
world in first class and that'show you're gonna experience the

(17:56):
world differently.
Or maybe the possibilities aresomewhere in between.
Do not fall into the howimmediately.
You don't have to answer howyou're gonna accomplish the
result of what the Qadr revealthought reveals to you.
But instead stay with it longenough to let the answers come
to you.
Because if you slow down, maybeyou will realize that the

(18:20):
thought did not come from yourusual patterning.
And your pattern was that travelhas to be an escape from life.
But instead this thought isinviting you to a new pattern,
the part where you can go on avacation for the purposes of
education or the purposes ofrejuvenation.

(18:41):
So in this case scenario, a Qadrreveal would look like asking
yourself open ended questions.
Questions like what if my brainimmediately calculating all the
logistics is not wisdom?
What if it's fear and protectivementality?
What if the problem is not moneyand it is my inability to

(19:01):
tolerate different experiences?
What if my children seeing theworld is a part of their risk?
What if my system is confusingexpansion with irresponsibility?
What if I'm allowed to creatememories that feel cinematic?
What if I've spent my years onlychoosing experiences that my

(19:22):
current identity is familiarwith?
What will happen if I attempt togrow out of that?
What if there are conversationsthat still need to happen?
Opportunities that still need toreveal themselves?
What if there are perspectivesout there that I haven't yet
taken?
And the important part aboutthis other reveal as it relates

(19:42):
to you planning your vacation,it has nothing to do with the
fact that the vacation willhappen or it was meant to
happen.
That's not the point.
The point is that before thismoment, before you ask these
questions, these realities werenot available to you.
And now they're becoming moreand more visible.

(20:04):
And the more you stay with theserealities, the more it becomes
possible that your vacation willtake a shape that you weren't
familiar with.
So what I want you guys to dowith this and the previous
episode is to collect theseideas and implement them in a
way where you stay open longenough for a future possibility

(20:24):
to reveal itself.
Stick with the solution to oneproblem at a time.
And once you develop this skill, then you can apply it to other
areas.
Because that way your brainwould have developed a pattern
of thinking that is solutionfocused, not blaming your Qadr
instead.
With that I pray to Allah, YaAllah, protect me and all of us

(20:49):
from shrinking into fear when mysoul is being invited into
expansion.
Allow my heart to stay open longenough for the correct thoughts
to grow into healing.
Ya Allah, allow me to nurturethe components in my life that
create the highest version ofme.
A version that you have createdme to be capable of becoming.

(21:15):
Please keep me in your du'as.
I will talk to you guys nexttime.
