Jim Moginie and the Family Dog have released a brand new record called Thunk. With a line-up boasting Kent Steedman on Guitar and Paul Larsen Loughhead on drums both ex Celibate Rifles and Tim Kevin from Youth Group and Midnight Oil’s mad professor Jim Moginie, you’d be right to expect an album full of surf, punk and angular guitar sounds, and that's exactly what you get. The band hit the road early February and to tell us about the wonderfully new analogue record, what to expect on tour, some Midnight Oil insights and he talks about his relationship with his recently deceased friend, bandmate and collabortor, Rob Hirst.
There's two versions, the longer version covers all that and a longer chat about Midnight Oil and Rob Hirst. @TheBreakdownwithCostaZouliou
