Speaker 1 (00:00):
What is the meaning
of life?
Is it success, happiness orsomething deeper?
Here is a question for you whatif the meaning of life is not
something you find, but moresomething you create?
Today, guys, we are diving intoone of humanity's oldest
(00:24):
questions and I'm going to sharewith you how discovering inner
peace transformed my perspectiveon this profound journey.
Hi guys, my name is Fabio fromJourney to Success, and welcome.
At some point we'll all askourselves why am I here?
We're going to ask what is mypurpose in life?
(00:46):
These questions can feeloverwhelming and even, let's say
, unanswerable.
Okay, but there are also thestarting point of a
transformative journey.
So for many, the search formeaning feels like wandering
(01:07):
through a fog.
So you try different paths.
So there is a career, you know, relationships, material success
, etc.
Etc.
But at the end only to feelunfulfilled.
It's easy to feel lost.
We know that.
So in this episode, I'm goingto share how questioning life's
purpose led me to discover thepower of inner peace.
(01:30):
So by the end, you're going tosee how understanding yourself
and quitting your mind can guideyou toward your own answers.
But, of course, as always, before to go forward, please
subscribe, so I know this is theright direction for you, to
drive you, to guide you, to leadyou towards your journey to
(01:55):
success.
And let's go forward.
Let's talk about these struggles, all right, the struggles that
come with seeking meaning inlife.
There are four points that Iwould like to face today.
So the first point is feelingsof confusion.
So life doesn't come with aclear instruction manual.
You know what I mean.
So many of us feel pulled indifferent directions, unsure
(02:19):
which path leads to fulfillment.
Then the second one is thepursuit of external validation.
Right, so society tells us thatsuccess, money and recognition
will give us purpose, butchasing these things often
leaves us feeling empty.
The number three is the fear ofthe unknown.
(02:43):
So questioning life's meaningcan be uncomfortable and it
forces us to confront fate andmake existential questions.
And number four,dissatisfaction with everyday
life.
So when you don't feel alignedwith your purpose, even small
(03:03):
tasks can feel meaningless.
This can lead to frustration, burnout or a sense of
desperation.
So these challenges are real, but there are also an invitation
to look inward to find theanswer that external success
(03:24):
cannot provide.
Let me take you through my ownjourney of exploring life's
meaning and discovering innerpeace.
All right, the first point thatI would like to make you notice
is the philosophical insights.
So there were great thinkerslike Viktor Frankl and Lao Tzu,
and one idea stood out on mycase Meaning is not given to us,
(03:47):
it's something we create.
The second one is meditationpractices.
So through mindfulness andmeditation, I learned to quit
the noise of the outside world,so this allowed me to listen to
my inner voice and discover whattruly mattered to me.
The third is self-reflection,of course, so journaling can
(04:12):
become a daily habit, and it wasalso for me.
Now I'm actually not doing somuch, but journaling is very
important, so writing downthoughts, helping me, in my case
, identify patterns, fears anddesires that were shaping my
life.
The number four is lessons fromothers.
So I listened to stories frompeople who had faced significant
(04:37):
challenges yet found meaning intheir struggles.
Who had faced significantchallenges yet found meaning in
their struggles.
So their resilience inspired meto redefine my own perspective.
In fact, at the start, mypodcast was more about, you know
, making questions, so it wasmore a guest host podcast
(05:06):
podcast, and then Iperfectionate this topic towards
on something different, likethe one that you are facing
right now with me.
Then we have practicalstrategies to begin your own
exploration.
So it's important to spend 10minutes a day in quiet
reflection on meditation.
That's very, very important.
Then it's also important writedown one thing you are grateful
for each day to shift your Spend10 minutes a day in quiet
reflection or meditation, that'svery, very important.
Then it's also important towrite down one thing you are
(05:27):
grateful for each day to shiftyour focus.
And then, at the end, it's alsoimportant to ask yourself what
brings me joy, what brings mehappiness, what aligns with my
values?
Okay, let me share a moment thatchanged everything for me.
It happened during a particulardifficult time, so I was
overwhelmed, questioningeverything and couldn't see a
(05:49):
way forward, honestly.
So one day I sat down underchurch their way I was in italy
and at first I started crying, but then I became calmer.
I remember it was raining and Isort of meditated.
In that quiet moment I had thethought what if I stopped
searching for meaning outsidemyself and started creating from
(06:13):
within?
And exactly in that moment, spiritually started my journey.
So that realization was aturning point for me.
I understood that meaningwasn't about achieving something
big, you know.
It was about being present, embracing the journey and
(06:34):
finding peace in who I was.
So.
This shift gave me clarity anda sense of calm I've never
experienced before.
So it wasn't about having allthe answers, it was about being
okay with the questions.
So, guy, today we explore one oflife's greatest questions what
(06:56):
is the meaning of life?
Well, in my opinion, of course,I'm not arrogant enough to
claim I have the answer to sucha profound question.
When I think about it, Ibelieve there are both known and
universal, spiritual, unknownanswers to that question.
Of course, that's perfectlyfine, it's fine, it's okay like
that.
So the main point is to stayfocused on searching for the
(07:19):
right path for you, and in doingso, the answers you need will
come naturally.
We talk about the strangle ofseeking purpose, the power of
inner peace and the importanceof creating meaning rather than
searching for it.
So the journey from questioningto understanding is not always
(07:41):
easy, but it's one of the mostrewarding paths you can take.
So, by embracing reflection andmindfulness, you can find
clarity and peace in your ownlife.
Okay, now I want to hear fromyou what is your perspective on
life's meaning?
Have you had moments of clarityor strangle with doubt?
(08:04):
Share your thoughts in thecomments and I would love to
learn from your experience aswell.
So if today's episode resonatedwith you, as always, please
share the episode.
I'm sure there's someone outthere who need it.
And don't forget to check outmy next episode, where we dive
deeper into personal growth andfind the imbalance in this
(08:27):
chaotic world.
Thank you for joining me onJourney to Success.
Remember the meaning of life isnot something you find, it's
something you create.
See you next time.
Cheers.
