Rich people think about becoming in order to have. Poor people think about having in order to become. This fundamental difference in mindset determines who achieves their dreams and who remains perpetually stuck in wishful thinking.

Your mind is God's biggest gift - functioning like a garden where whatever you plant eventually grows and bears fruit. Through powerful personal stories, we explore how someone can transition from merely admiring luxury homes in East Legon to actually building and owning property there. The journey isn't magical; it's methodical, following three distinct levels of desire: wanting (initial desire), choosing (research and planning), and commitment (decisive action).

Consider the powerful example of Dubai. Before ever setting foot there, our speaker researched extensively about Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, reading his books and understanding his vision. This mental preparation, combined with practical steps like creating payment plans for travel, demonstrates how vision shapes reality. The transformation from watching buildings from outside to owning property in those same neighborhoods illustrates the power of mental elevation.

We examine how all three dimensions of our being must grow proportionally for true success: body, soul, and spirit. By shifting from "I can't" to "how can I?" your mind begins finding pathways previously invisible. This isn't merely positive thinking—it's strategic mental positioning that creates tangible results.

Ready to elevate your thinking? The house in Trasaco with your name on it is actively looking for you. The question is: who must you become to not just acquire it, but maintain it? Listen, apply, and watch as your mental transformation creates physical manifestation.

Speaker 1 (00:01):
You want to buy a car .
A car also is looking for you.
Or you want to buy a house inTrasako.
There's a house in Trasako withyour name on it, but the
question is, what version of youmust you grow into becoming to
be able to buy that house inTrasako so that you can be able
to maintain that house inTrasako?

(00:21):
So a rich person.
When a rich person wants to dosomething, he thinks of how he
can become in order to have todo.
But when a poor person wants todo something, he thinks of how
he can have in order to do, tobecome.
They are not the same.
So a rich man wants to go intobusiness.
You are a rich man.
You are doing amazingly well.

(00:42):
Yeah, you're a pharmacist.
Did you think of how you canhave a pharmacy in order to
operate a farm, a pharmaceuticalbusiness?
No, you went to school.
That was your process ofbecoming.
So you have to become.
So you became in order for youto have, and you are doing which

(01:02):
part of our being do we use tobecome?

Speaker 2 (01:03):
I think every part of you, right, every part of our
being do we use to become.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
I think every part of you, right, every part of you,
forms part of your becoming.
And if you think about it verywell, man is a spirit, he has a
soul, he lives in a body.
So man is a spirit.
The real Moses is spirit, thereal Derek is spirit.
You have a soul, you live, livein the body.

(01:27):
How do I know Genesis, chapter1 God creates, but he are not
formed.
Then he comes to chapter 2 andsay and the Lord God formed man.
How do I know man is a spirit?
He said when he had formed man.
He said male and female, created he them.
So man as a composite entity ismade up of male and female,
created he them.
So man as a composite entity ismade up of male and female.
Then in the formation we see itexpressly.

(01:49):
So, if you think about it verywell, for you to become, your
body must become.
When a child grows up, a childis born, they have to learn how
to crawl, they have to learn howto sit, they have to.
They go through a process.
One.
The next thing as that child isgrowing, you take that.

(02:09):
When you're taking that child toschool, yeah, what are you
trying to develop with thatchild.
You're trying to develop theirsoul, make.
They are trying to make themappreciate color, they're trying
to make them appreciate speech, all of those things you are
trying to make them understand, their temperaments and all of
those things they make up thesoul of the person.
You take that child to church.
You let them understand thatthere is a deity, you let them

(02:30):
understand that there's asupreme being that rules and
controls their life.
This morning you and I are herebecause probably on the list of
people who are supposed to makethe day, we showed up.
He gave us breath and we'rehere.
So you let that childunderstand their spiritual
investments or their spiritualgrowth.
So there's your body, there'syour soul, there's your spirit.
For you to become all thosethree dimensions must equally

(02:53):
grow.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
So I want a house in trasaco.
You said that, that house intrasaco is also looking for me
exactly, but I'm a truck truckdriver I don't even make 200 cds
a day to even start acceptingthat that house in trasaco.
How does my viewerconceptualize this thing you're

(03:16):
saying?

Speaker 1 (03:17):
It's this way Now.
Your mind is God's biggest gifthe has given you.
The thing about the mind isthat the mind is like a garden
Whatever thing you sow in themind you reap, the gateway to
the citadel of your mind is youreyes and your ears, which is
why I'm very much excited aboutthe podcast, because by means of

(03:39):
what people watch from thisplatform, by means of what
people hear on this platform, they become so.
As you are watching and as youare hearing, it shapes your
perception.
So you are coming from thatpoor background.
You may be listening to ustoday, um, you're in that single
room somewhere, but you arewatching videos in Dubai.
You are in that single roomsomewhere.

(04:01):
You are dreaming of that housein truss aku.
What actually is happening isthat your physical state may not
reflect what is in your mind byyour mind may be living years
ahead of you.
So I give you a case in point.
I started my entrepreneurshippub Africa in Kumasi.
I completed KNST in a placecalled Juniasi and here I was.

(04:23):
I would come to Accra from timeto time.
I realized that there was akind of possibility, there was a
kind of living in this place,so I'd go back.
And then I'm like, okay, nowthat I go to Accra I see all the
things that are doing it, butI'm also an engineer, so how do
I move the business to Accra?
So I decided that, okay, whenever I come to Accra on
visits, I would make sure I cometo the place where rich people

(04:45):
live, which is East Ligon forstarters.
So those times I would come, myfriend would drive me around
and then we would drive to EastLigon.
I remember we would go and parkby the Spice House.
Then I would ask myself did aman build this?
I would watch that thing andI'm like, if a man built this,
irrespective of where I'm from,I can do that.
So I said, okay, I went back.

(05:11):
Then my then mentor, dr UbonKing of blessed memory, asked me
to come nigeria.
So he calls me and he says thathe didn't say can you come?
He says, be in nigeria tomorrowat six, which is to speak to a
lot of young people.
You want mentorship?
Are you ready to pay the price?
So he calls me.
I'm like, okay.
So my then girlfriend, who isnow my wife, I called.
I said the man said I don'thave money.
So she works in the bank.
So, um, she gave me some money, entered the bus, came, came to

(05:33):
a car, entered another busstraight to Lagos.
So, on the top of Echo SutanHotel, he said something to me.
He said your vision shapes yourlife.
Do you realize we're standingon the very top of Echo Sutan
Hotel?
I said yes.
He said what do you see?
Is the vision the same as whenyou're on the ground floor?
I said no.
So that day he spoke to meabout vision and in our

(05:59):
conversation he said I want youto make a vow to me that, to
buttress this conversation aboutvision, you will go to dubai
and you will go and watch theplace it has, what it will do to
you.
Now, brother, I had a passport, but now how will I go to dubai?
So, just to buttress that point, how do you marry the two?
I came back to ghana, went to myjunior.
I say I I had a laptop, I hadinternet.
The internet is one of God'sbiggest gifts to our generation.
Today you use the internet as atool.

(06:19):
Don't let it use you.
So I go back and I startedwatching videos of Dubai and I
realized the ruler is called HisRoyal Highness Sheikh Muhammad
bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
So I found his book, my Vision.
I started reading Before I everstepped foot in Dubai.
I had read the history of theplace, like I knew about Ghana.
I had read the man's books, everything that was available in

(06:40):
Ghana.
In fact, the first time I gotto Dubai, the first thing I did
was to go and buy books aboutthe ruler of the place, because
the thing is that when you meeta man and you're able to get
what is in his head, you canproduce what is in his pocket.
So I went after the.
Something inside of you begin torise.
So there are three levels ofdesires.

(07:00):
The first level of desire isthat you want a thing.
So to that trotter driver, hewants a thing.
To me who wanted to go to Dubai, I wanted a thing.
Now that you want a thing, alot of people want things.
Very few people manifest thethings they want.
So I want a thing.
Then we transition to the secondlevel of desire.
When you want a thing, you moveto a place where you choose the

(07:24):
thing.
The place of your choosing iswhere you do the research.
The place of your choosing iswhere you now begin to realize
that, okay, I may be a trotterdriver, but I need to start
changing my circle.
The place of choosing is whereyou go to a place, go like, okay
, I may be a trotter driver or Imay be a mate, but I need to do
it with excellence.
I need to build character, Ineed to build capacity.
I need to learn what thatcurrent stage of my becoming and

(07:47):
process is teaching me.
You need to choose a thing.
That is when I begin to askokay, dubai, how much is ticket?
Brother?
Until I asked that question, all that why I thought going to
dubai was a hundred thousandcities.
Then, when you are nowbeginning to choose, that's when
you realize that, okay, to goto dubai you need a visa.
This is how much the visa willcost to go to dubai.

(08:09):
You don't go to a visa officelike the way you do for the
united states, you don't feelapplications like the way you do
for canada.
So now you are beginning tounderstand.
At that point you are meddlingin the second realm of desire
choosing.
Then you move to the thirdrealm, commitment.
Because when you choose, yourchoosing will help you siphon
out your, your wants and helpyou to come to a place where,

(08:32):
okay, this is what it will take.
So can you imagine me coming toakra those times, and when I
come, I was, I started askingthe cost of house rent in this
neighborhood in East Ligon.
This was me working on my mind.
This was me getting okay.
Okay, this is what it will take.
Now, the thing with a lot ofpeople is that when they think
about their dreams, the firstthing they've been programmed

(08:54):
with their mind is that theirmind shuts them out.
So you can't do it.
The moment you allow, you can't.
You will never manifest it.
But I moved myself from a placewhere I stopped looking at
things, from I can't do it, tonow asking myself how can I?
The thing with the mind again, when you ask how you can, it
will find results for you.
How can I?

(09:14):
You will now begin to look in,so you're in the choosing realm.
Then you get to know that yourthird realm of desire,
commitment.
So now this is what it takes togo to dubai.
So, brother, at that time therewas a company called travel
planners.
I realized that they have topackage so you could pay in
installment till you arecomplete.
Then you go to dubai.
I said, ah, so there was a wayout of this whole thing.

(09:36):
So I said okay, I went to them.
I said how much they gave methe amount.
I said okay, now I went to them.
I said how much they gave methe amount.
I said okay.
Now I went back.
I said okay, this is my currentrealm of living, this is my
current level of income.
How do I allocate savings andpay the susu, small, small, till
my total amount is complete?
That was how I went to Dubaifor the first time and that is
how I did the same thing andcame to this place and I

(09:58):
realized, okay, to live in aplace in East Ligon, you're
about to pay rent of about maybefive thousand, six thousand.
So now how do you bringyourself to that realm of living
where you can be able to affordthis, that, that?
And we came to East Ligon aspeople who would come and watch
their Spice House.
Today we rent in East Ligon andtoday we are building in East
Ligon.

(10:18):
So we came here as tenants wholeave this place to airport
sales and every part of theworld as landlords.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
This is some serious mental elevation.
Yeah, and my god, I've seenthis work in my life too.
It's worked several times.
The same place you went to parkyour car, I parked my car the
same, the new building, when, despite finish that new building
, I watched it too.
As a matter of fact, I learnt afew designs from there to apply

(10:46):
to my own project hmm, it workslike magic it does it?

Speaker 1 (10:51):
does it really?

Speaker 2 (10:53):
does?
I usually say that the God inus sits in the mind so that if
you choose to use that mind, youcan become anything you choose
to be Absolutely.
But why is it so difficult forpeople to harness the power of
that which the Creator has givento them?

Speaker 1 (11:12):
the mind.
Interesting question, speakingabout the mind, our mind is
again.
Why is it difficult that peopleare able to?
People struggle to harness thatpower.
Your mind is like a bankWhatever you deposit into it,

(11:36):
that is what you withdraw.
