Have you ever asked yourself "How do I know God loves me?" Or "What is love?" "How does God love us? And how are we supposed to love others the way He does?"
For so long, I thought love was something that had to be proven like an action, a sign, a "yes" to my prayers. When things didn't happen the way I wanted, I felt overlooked, like maybe I wasn't enough and sometimes unloved, especially by God.
But what I've learned is that God's love isn't something we earn or wait for it's a constant presence, a dwelling place and a pursuit. In this episode, I share how God has always revealed His love to us not just through Scripture or people/relationships, provision and answered prayers but also through moments of correction sometimes rejection and most importantly His compassion even when we're undeserving.
My prayer is that as you listen, you'll begin to see the ways He's been pursuing you all along and feel inspired to show that same love and compassion to others. I also talk about the role and responsibilities of a "Christian" and how we should always be a reflection of God's love. This might ruffle a few feathers but there's only one truth and Jesus showed us The Way.
