027. Ben Toews: Idaho Senator Succeeding Despite Past Business and Financial Challenges

Who is Ben Toews?

Ben Toews is a native Idahoan. He graduated from Lake City High School in Coeur d'Alene, ID, earned an Associate of Arts degree in political science from North Idaho College and received a degree in international business from Gonzaga University. He engaged in family business of specialty construction tools for 17 years, serving as vice president and later as president/CEO before selling the company in 2019. He is also the founding member of a homeschool co-op where he taught economics, government, and leadership classes and coached the debate club for high school-aged students. He has served his local church as Treasurer/Elder Advisor, and currently is an Idaho State Senator in District 4. He is married to his wife Elisha, and they have five children.
