Dr. Michael Barnes is the founder and Director of theMichael Barnes Family Institute and Senior Clinical Advisor to NRT Behavioral Health. Dr. Barnes has a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy. He lives in Tampa, Floridaand provides coaching, education, and support for couples and families struggling with a loved one's addiction and trauma. His area of study is theimpact of secondary and systemic trauma on couple and family functioning. He is here to discuss the impact of family trauma on dating and intimate relationships.
