Who’s the real “me” beneath your hello? In this episode, Rhonda invites you to notice the everyday moments that reveal your true self. Whether it’s the way you order lunch, stop to smell a flower, or express disappointment, today is your chance to claim, “That’s me!” and start loving every part of who you are.

Today, we’re bringing our attention to one fearless practice: noticing and claiming the real “me” in all you do. From how you greet a neighbor to the food you savor to the times you feel hurt or hopeful... Rhonda reminds us that these moments are not random. They are signposts pointing to your essential nature.

(00:14):
Welcome to Love Notes from Rhonda.
And this song just keepscoming through me.
Hello, it's me.
Write that song by Adele.
Hello, it's me.
That me.
That me that you, right, you're me.
The me of you, right?
The me.
Hello, it's me.

(00:35):
I want you to imagine for aminute right now who that me is that
you are.
And today I want you to gothrough your day claiming, well,
that's me.
The way that I said hello tothat person.
That's me.
That was me right there.
That is the real and true andauthentic essential nature of who

(00:55):
I am on my wheel of freedom.
Me, right?
I claimed that.
I put a pin in it.
Yes, that was me.
The way that I ordered myfavorite food.
Yeah, that was me.
That was me.
I love this food.
It makes me so happy.
And I just love the taste onmy tongue.
And it just.
That is me.
And, oh, by the way, the way Ifelt disappointed when somebody didn't

(01:20):
call when they said they would.
That is also me.
Getting disappointed isn't abad thing.
It just tells me how much I care.
It gets dysfunctional andunhealthy when we actually believe
that lack of a phone call is ajudgment against us.

(01:42):
It's saying something about us.
That's where it gets unhealthy.
That's where it gets discombobulated.
That's where it lies to us.
If somebody calls and they.
Somebody doesn't call and theysay they're going to, and you are
hurt and you're heartbrokenand you're bummed.
That's naturally human.
And then what do you do withthat, right?

(02:02):
What do you do?
Then you go, huh?
Wonder what's going on withthem today, huh?
Are they okay?
Because you don't make itabout you.
You don't make it about you.
Now, if this happens all thetime, this.
With this particular person, then, you know, that's their pattern.
That's who they are right nowin their wheel of fear.

(02:22):
They are not accountable tothe promise of I'll call you later.
That doesn't mean the samething it means to you.
That takes understanding onyour part.
That takes a decision todecide, like, yeah, that's who they
are.
I get it.
And that's okay with me.
Or it's not okay with me.
And if it's not okay with youthat they don't call when they say,

(02:43):
you have to ask yourself, isthat based on your need to feel secure,
your rigidity?
Or is it that this person, youreally need to hear from them by
A certain time, becauseotherwise you feel disconnected.
Maybe it's your mate, mypartner, your lover.
So today I want you to come,go through your day and say, yes,

(03:08):
that's me.
Like, I take a walk down thestreet of my house, and there is
gardenias and there's jasmine.
And every time there's agardenia blooming, I stop and smell
it.
I don't care if there's one.
I don't care if it's half deadand half alive.
I'm gonna smell it.
I love gardenias.
So I stop and I smell it.
That's me.
I would do that anywhere I wasin any city in the world, any state

(03:32):
in the world, any country inthe world, I would stop and smell
that gardenia.
There's also jasmine.
If I go the opposite way downmy street and I smell.
And anytime that jasmine'sblooming, I stop and smell it.
That's me.
That is me.
I am somebody who literallystops and smells the roses.
That is me.

(03:52):
That is who I am.
That is what I love.
That is me.
That's not me pretending to besomebody who stops and smells the
roses.
That is actually who I am.
I have things around my house.
I have things that I do,things that I don't do that are true
to me.
So today, your opportunity isjust to kind of claim Whenever you

(04:14):
see a moment, that's like, yes, you know what?
That is me.
That is who I am at my essence.
Me getting worried about a friend.
That is me at my essence.
I care deeply about the peoplein my life.
That is me.
Oh, blowing off and notworrying about something.
You know, somebody missingthat call.
Yeah.
I mean, I have a moment ofconcern and I send a text.

(04:36):
Are you okay?
And that is me.
And reading a book at nightbefore I go to bed or meditating
a few minutes.
That is me.
That is who I am.
That is something that I wantto own and claim as part and parcel
of me.
That is who I am.

(04:59):
So let's claim more of ourselves.
Claim more of who we reallyare so we can see very clearly when
we are not being who we are, when we're driven by fear and when
we are acting true toourselves, when we are being our
authentic self.
Until next time, be fearless.

(05:21):
I love you.
