The poem Blue Roses was inspired after the recent school shooting in Uvalde Texas. Terrible tragedies like this have become an all too often occurrence in the United States. As a parent I am concerned that we are failing our children. It is our responsibility to secure their safe passage to adulthood. we must do better.
