What comes to mind when I use the term informed
consent?

SPEAKER_00 (00:07):
What if I told you that there's more to it, that
there are benefits and resourcesfrom heaven that are available
to help you in this life, andyou've never heard about them?

Welcome back to Making Heaven Real.
Informed consent is a formal,ethical, and legal process
where, in most cases, healthcareproviders fully disclose risks,
benefits, and alternatives to apatient, ensuring they

(00:57):
voluntarily agree to treatment.
Its primary function is touphold patient autonomy, promote
shared decision making, andprotect both the patient and the
provider.
That definitions provided by theNational Institutes of Health.

(01:20):
The key points from thisstatement are full disclosure,
voluntary agreement, and patientautonomy.
Hold those thoughts in your mindas we move forward, and if you
will indulge me for thisepisode.
I try not to do this much onmaking heaven real, but this

(01:43):
time I need to get personal.
Quite frankly, heaven's tellingme to get personal in this
episode.
Part of what I had to reallywork through since my wife
passed was the frustration offinding out most of what I am
sharing with you on makingheaven real was only found out

(02:08):
by me after she passed, and Itried to deal with this
devastating loss alone.
Then to find out most of thesekey concepts, including heaven
on earth, spirit teams, andheavenly equity, I had to

(02:29):
discover them all on my own.
And after spending my entirelife in church, why?
Right after a devastating lossand such an invoking of
heart-wrenching grief, I'm notonly asking why she suddenly

(02:57):
left, but now I'm asking why ittook sixty-five years to find
out the other side of the story.
Now, yes, I know.
We've talked about this before,and there's no coincidences, and
everything's a part of ourlife's plan, and there's a plan

(03:18):
for this, and this was part ofthe plan.
But at the same time, it kind ofmakes me wonder if what showed
up in my plan is not a part of amuch bigger plan.
And maybe it's kind of up to usto pinpoint and discuss this

(03:42):
bigger plan and what may not beserving us currently.
I hated that I spent most of mylife in church and was never
allowed to know the other sideof the free will decision or

(04:02):
have that made available to me.
After spending that many yearsin churches, I should have been
shown how to live or was shownhow to live under the
restrictions and limitationsthey placed on God in heaven.

(04:25):
That's one of the reasons wedon't even talk about anything
that limits God.
Because those restrictionsplaced on God in heaven ended up
comprising free will choices ofothers that were imposed on
members of these denominations.

(04:47):
Legal and medical decisions aremade frequently based on the
legal term or the legal conceptof informed consent.
If we have never been allowed toknow the other side of the free

(05:08):
will choice decision, then wehave not been able to make any
choices or decisions withinformed consent.
Because we don't know what wedon't know because we've never
been taught.

Let me say that one more time.

Given that this is all found inScripture, I consider this
unforgivable.
What happened to declaring thewhole council of God as found in
Acts?

Why have we led scores of peopleto live this life quite frankly
the hard way when we have foundout that heaven is waiting to be
our spirit team RSTC our lifecoordinator?

(06:39):
Yet this has all been hidden.
Presumably in order to maintainsome form of structure, order,
or control as we discussed lastweek.
Back in the Genesis episode andwhich is twenty five forty four,
we asked the question, why do wenot know what we don't know?

(07:03):
And why have we never beentaught?
Quite frankly, why have I neverbeen taught?
I'm not sure we have an answerto that question yet.
But some of that may be stilldependent upon the religion or
denomination that you referenceor that you are more familiar

(07:27):
with or were brought up in.
But I think we may be looking atthe tip of the iceberg here,
where we are finding out that ifwe had been taught, if we had
been given information about ourabilities as spirits, as free

(07:51):
will agents, and if we had beengiven information about how
heaven supports each of itsspirits on this heavenly
journey, we may be finding outwhat spirit provides for us and
what heavenly equity providesfor our spirit has far greater

(08:12):
impact for our spirit than thosecontrols that are put in place
by the decisions of otherscomprising their religion.
Maybe we're not taught aboutfree will because, as we talked

(08:33):
about last week, every humanknows better than control.
Because the spirit side of eachof us understands that they
always have the free willoption.
If we've not been taught, ifwe've not been shown that, if

(08:55):
we've not been given guidelinesand principles and how that is
all available to us, like we'vebeen discussing here, then we
may not know what to do withthat innate free will option
that we kind of know about backin the recesses of our spirit.

(09:19):
But have not really been givenall of the details we need to
know how to bring it out, how tomanage it.
Better yet, how to have ourspirit team help us manage it.
You know, my personal journeyinto the depths of heavenly
support, guidance, andprovisioning and love was

(09:43):
triggered primarily by twothings.
The first was the completeunexpected, sudden, devastating
loss of my precious wife.
And the other was the feeling oftotal abandonment and sheer

(10:06):
loneliness when I no longercould hear from or be in contact
with or connect with friends,neighbors, co-workers, and yes,

(10:27):
even churches.
You know, I've been asked uhseveral times to get into more
details about actually losing mywife, and that may be coming up
in a future episode, but rightnow heaven's pointing to other
things.
And I think it's reallyimportant to focus on what was

(10:49):
brought up for this week.
Which primarily they've kind ofbeen in my ear all week, going,
it's time to get personal.
It's time to discuss exactlywhat happened and what brought
you to this point.

(11:11):
I think one of the things that'sprobably going to be coming up
soon is I keep hearing fromheaven about a topic called
Grief Gateway.
And I've heard some of the ideasthat we're going to probably
present in that episode when itcomes up, but I'll tell you
right now, if you Google it,you'll find out what Google
tells you is not the same thing.

(11:33):
You'll also find out that thereare several spiritual terms and
associate it with our spirits inheaven and heavenly equity.
But you'll never find the samedefinition on Google because,
quite frankly, when your frameof reference is only this

(11:57):
lifetime, and thinking thatthat's all there is to you, it's
kind of hard to view heavenlyterms and descriptions in the
proper perspective.
If you're looking at this interms of just a single class

(12:20):
instead of from the perspectiveof the full degree program.

(12:45):
We've talked earlier aboutpeople who are spiritual but not
religious for the same reason.
But I think the part that wasmost interesting over the last
two weeks was pointing to thecontrol.
And the control seems to bepointing to the fact that if a

(13:09):
spirit understands all thatheaven has available for that
spirit, some of the control nolonger serves them.
I think that's the importantpart that we need to tuck back
into the recesses of our mindsand add that basically to our

(13:34):
grief toolkit.
Hopefully, none of us have thatsevere grief and that
devastating loss anytime soonagain.
But what we've learned from thatgrief and what we've learned
from that loss, and what we'relearning now about heaven and

(13:56):
the spirit team, and the supportfor all of us, is something that
we can tuck away in our grieftoolkit and pull that out when
we need it, when we have afriend or coworker or neighbor
who has to go through what wejust did.

(14:21):
One of our primary tenets hereat Making Heaven Real is to do
our part to ensure othersexperiencing devastating loss
and dealing with massive griefhave the information necessary
for a full disclosure.
Back to the informed consent.

(14:44):
If they have the full disclosureand all the information they
need, then that would should beable to ensure that they can
voluntarily make their own freewill informed decision on their
own.
And that decision should fullysupport their spirit as an

(15:08):
independent agent from heaven.
For any spirit to be able tomake a factual-based free will
decision based on informedconsent, the most critical piece
of all that is being informed.
When we provide that knowledgethat we have learned here, that

(15:33):
allows us to make heaven real intheir lives.
