this week, and the big newscoming out of the EU right now
is the public consultation forthe EU's policies to drive the

whole of carbon conversation.
So looking at life cycleanalysis and assessment based on
building typologies across thedomain of building types, from
residential all the way throughto utilitarian buildings such as
libraries and educationinstitutions, etc.
The applications have beenrequested for people within the

EU and outside the EU,thankfully for people who are
dual citizens.
That also provides you with anopportunity to have your say.

series of questions to giveyour opinion about the
application of policies thatrelate to whole of carbon

situations and analysis forprojects that may impact you in

is an accommodation staydevelopment in Tasmania and
Australia.
It's now been shortlisted forthe prestigious World of
Architecture Festival in 2023.

The event is going to be heldat the Marina Bay Sands in
Singapore on the 29th to the 1stof December, so that's 29th
November to the 1st of December.

And a new 50,000 square feet.
Development is coming soon toEast 7th Street and Pernales
Street in East Austin.
Scott and Cooner, thecontemporary and modern European
furniture store, will occupythe ground floor of the tenancy
and it will expand its showroomspace into the current DC and A

offices, while fort structureswill have 4,000 feet in the
newly developed area.

million dollars for 12 new masstimber demonstration research

the face of constructionthroughout its province.

It's great to see Irelandgetting in on the mass timber

and biodiversity act when itcomes to the built environment,
and the Department of Housing,local Government and Heritage,
together with the Department ofEnterprise, trade and Employment
, have developed shortintroductory guides on the
modern methods of construction.
I'm very pleased to say thatthis includes penalized
construction, volumetric systemsand systems that are otherwise

conducive to things other thanmore traditional materials, and
includes timber.
So congratulations to everyonein the Irish government that is
trying to change and drive adifferent agenda for
construction for the future.
And finally, junior agricultureminister Senator Pippa Hackett
has announced a call forexpression of interests to
participate in a new timber inconstruction working group

Assessing regulatory andstandardization challenges.
The group will be tasked withexamining conditions to increase
the use of timber andconstruction, assessing
regulatory issues,standardization challenges to
the greater use and adoption ofmass timber whilst maximizing
the use of homegrown timber.
So it's great to see Hackettgetting involved in something
(06:35):
that is now driving the masstimber industry and potentially
continuing that conversation inthe UK.
