Let's have a look at what'smaking news around the world
this week in mass timberconstruction land, and the
headlining news this week isthat Swedish developer Atrium
Lindberg is planning to buildwhat it says is the world's
largest wooden city in Stikla, aformer industrial quarter in
southern Stockholm.
Our understanding is that whitearchitecture and Henning

Larsson are teaming up todeliver what will be a 250,000
square meter Stockholm Wood City, with around 2,000 homes, 7,000
office spaces, shops andrestaurants.
The developer aims to go breakground in about 2025, with the
buildings finished in 2027.
We look forward to seeing whathappens with this.

Stockholm Wood City, as itmanifests the future of timber,
provides tenants with a strongdemand for innovative,
sustainable solutions, and wewill watch with interest.

I'm heading across to Stuttgartnow and Harold and Grenwald
specialises in the sale andrental of forklifts, telescopic
handlers, work platforms andcontainer solutions, and they
have just announced a new timberconstructed facility that will

be headquartered in Stuttgartand it features a translucent
all round canopy made ofcarbonised larch wood with a
wooden hat type approach, whichprotects against the weather and
gives the building acharacteristic shape made out of
mass timber products to try andcreate a sustainable way of

moving forward in theconstruction of the company's
new headquarters.
And heading to the US.
Now, antishman Spire secures$750 million for the Harvard
Enterprise Research Campus.
The Enterprise Research Campusis a 900,000 square foot mixed
use project being developed withthe university subsidiary

Harvard Elliston Land Company.
A terror capital led theconstruction loan package.
Construction on the nine acrefirst phase is set to begin in
the coming weeks, with thebuilding scheduled to be open in
2025 or early 2026.
Adjacent to the HarvardBusiness School, the Harvard
Science and Engineering Complexin Elston in Massachusetts, the

project will feature twolaboratory buildings devoted to
research and development, aswell as 343 unit apartment
building and a hotel.
25% of the new multi-familyunits will be first phase and
they'll be deemed affordable forindividuals and families
earning between 30 to 100% lessthan the means of income in the

US And staying in the US.
And Blueprint Robotics, aBaltimore based company that
produces wood frame constructionproducts, is planning to build
its 450,000 square footproduction facility in Windsor,
connecticut, and is said to bethe largest North American
industrial building erectedentirely of mass timber.
The 62 acre Lott on Day HillRoad in Windsor, selected by

Blueprint, is currently vacant.
It's expected that the buildingwill cost $97 million to design
and construct, and the companyhopes to break ground in early
June or July, with constructionfinished by the third quarter of
2024, according to theBlueprint announcement.
