Depression is NOT a mark of disgrace. Depression IS a human emotional and psychological mindset that is experienced to some degree by every human at some point in their lives. It is the severity, frequency of the symptoms, and impact on your functioning that determines what you need to get you better. Reaching out for help takes courage. Reaching out for help is the fist step. In the next 30 minutes I will build a case for eliminating the stigma of depression and give you the simple steps to reach out for help. I welcome a special guest Will Phinney as he shares his lifelong struggle with depression and how he continues to find the courage to challenge himself to change his mindset, move forward, and feel good about himself. I hope his message inspires you to find the courage to share your story.
