The party is in pieces, and so is their escape plan. Half the crew has literally gone down the drain, flushing their way into a thieves' guild hidden beneath the city. The other half is in a different kind of hell—a courtroom of fiends from the first layer of Hell, presided over by a monstrous judge, a gargantuan bailiff, and a Cerberus guarding their gear. Will the party reunite and escape their fate, or will they be trapped in two separate circles of chaos?

Hello fair listener, welcome andthank you for following our
journey on Meta gaming by Room Propelled Gaming.
Fair warning, sometimes we are not safe for work and others not
safe for real life. Journey forth at your own risk.
Now let's dive right back into Tara through the campaign

(00:35):
Allelopolis. How do you do, Greg?
Greg. Greg is our Lord and Savior.
Nothing. The Hand of Fate tosses the dice
rolls, spins, turns. A campaign starts and ends,
leaving memories that become stories.
Stories flow out into the infinite sea, painting it with

(00:58):
legends. Legends wash up on the shores
throughout the Infinite Sea, fading to myth until myths are
forgotten. And again, the Hand of Fate
tosses the dice rolls, spins, turns.
Hitherto, we've left the adventurers known as the Rum
Rollers after they had rescued Socrates from losing their
magics to the mana thieves and aimpending horde of zombies from

(01:23):
the PNC. They were rewarded for the
former with a flying ship of a upgrade to a Dune and a 1% bag
of shareholding with plans to take down the professional
necromancy cult as a whole. The Rum Rollers take flight to
the Lava Tower. On route they meet the Goddess

(01:45):
Zenith and Godlono in their draconic forms, the Goddesses.
The Goddess of Knowledge. Zenith informs the Rum Rollers
that they should begin their path to ascension at the
Peninsula of Choy and should, and warns against facing the PNC
at this time. However, Lono had also given
Mime a fruit, a large grape, to eat while they had their

(02:11):
discussions, and after the gods leave at the Admiral, Mime
notices an encouraging message on the seed from Lono, noting
that they can take the PNC on and he believes in them.
They they then they are called to the by the Shadow seekers to

(02:32):
the Infinite Tower of Ishmael where Rarl, KIRO and me may sign
a contract to not become gods and eliminate the gods presence
from their solar system. Also to to help the Shadow
Seekers eliminate the PNC plan laid out to take down the

(02:56):
professional Necromancy Cult or the PNC.
The Rum Rollers awake once more in the on the decks of a dune
and agree after a hearty breakfast to face the PNC with
the recently acquired Holy WaterCannons and Explosive Growth
seed planting plan as well as the new with the new seed

(03:18):
acquired from Lono and a second seed from the Wizard formerly
known as Matt or as he's going by now.
The Wizard landed on the decks just before going through what
looks like a force field around the entire spiral Wood Forest.

(03:39):
That is where the lava tower wassat, in the center of which they
find quickly out that doesn't let anything for the most part
living through except for As their experiments are going
grand, AM rushes through to findhimself teleported to a prison

(04:03):
with none of his stuff except for the clothes on his back
cheats you in his pocket and historque around his neck as he
plans he is his escape. The rest of the Rum Rollers
investigate further, only to have KIRO investigate a giant
floating skull in the burial which had which upon instigation

(04:27):
from demanding an audience with Ashuma, swallows the whole crew
and a dune. And they the Rum Rollers then
find themselves all teleported to prison without a dune in
their presence, right as Grand AM had finished his escape that

(04:50):
he told he told everyone he was going to do.
Attempting to escape themselves,KIRO, Ciro, Raro and Cat started
prison riot, killing a guard in the process. 0 sees one of the
prisoners flush himself down thecommode in the commotion and

(05:13):
decides to follow suit, flushinghimself straight down the the
toilet. Nimaway and Admiral pop into
existence at this point after the commotion had finished and
Cat poofs out of existence. After some more prison break
attempts, Rarl and Nimaway escape via Flushing and KIRO and

(05:35):
the Admiral face the music of the Magistrate and the charges
brought against them. The party now well and truly
split Grand Dam, Cyro, the Rarlsons and Nimaway learned
they find themselves in an odd sewer system run by a thieves

(05:58):
Guild at and at the head of which sits a leader, a shadowy
leader called Nobunaga. They learned this from Alfred
who was the demon who flushed himself away the in the
beginning and decides to take it.

(06:19):
Then not decides is more forced to take them to the Tavern which
is run by the thieves Guild in this area, which is also not no
longer in hell but rather a subdivision of the first level
of hell. Meanwhile, KIRO and Admiral Mime

(06:41):
learned it was the vampires who led the horde of zombies to
Socrates which the rum rollers had destroyed.
However, these vampires had somehow reappeared or re
materialized after their deaths from at Raul's hand.
Who stand to accuse them of a crime of removing 2000 plus

(07:04):
souls from the PN. CS employee Magistrate says they
may negotiate or that they may stand stand for their own
defense. And during their defense, KIRO
and the Admiral both make statements that it was not them
who destroyed the 2000 plus zombies and these vampires and

(07:30):
that they're evident. They didn't have any evidence to
say otherwise besides the hearsay and another word.
I lost it. Oh well.
From the Vampires. Oh they also learn that the PNC

(07:51):
does not largely deal in gold but rather soul coins as KIRO
offers a trial by combat to resolve the issue with the
vampires, but they would requirethe Rum Rollers were required to
be in possession of 2000 soul coins of a wager for that

(08:13):
combat. Oh, and the court session is
adjourned until their next hearing date can be made with
the agreement that they that KIRO and the Admiral and any of

(08:35):
those that might appear now to will be restrained with magical
cuffs negating their magic abilities to their ship which
they find themselves chained to the the chains that are actually
chained to the floor that are chaining A dune.
So not directly on the decks of a Dune, a rather, but right next

(09:02):
to a Dune I think. That's.
All Yep, a long winded review, but I think that's where you
guys find yourself. If love don't fit, you must have
quit. Let's find out what happens this
time. So we left off with the sewers,

(09:29):
so I just was going to quickly touch on what was happening
above. Especially because Cat is
poofing in up there. I'm poofing in, I'm moving at
the doors. No, in the courtroom.

(09:51):
I need to get your token out. Here though, is what I need to
do. I'm just picturing the world's
tiniest handcuff around a littlechicken ankle right now.
Does she pop into the courtroom or does she pop into the come
closet if. I pop into the come closet.
They don't know. Yeah, right now, I guess it
would be the, that's a fairpoint.

(10:14):
I guess it would be the come closet.
Means the cat does not have shackles.
I agree. Free bird.
I'm free. I don't think I.
Split your vision. But I can definitely.

(10:37):
You should do is to give other. People's vision.
Create a token and give everyoneaccess to it.
That way you can everyone will get sight.
If you just place it. We just miss an opportunity.
For free bird. I think so.

(11:04):
You're good. I'm, I'm more looking at the
instance of the fact that the bookmarks are the, the, the
challenge because I have the bookmarks kind of like all over
the place for everybody. Yeah.
With as much as it's going on, it's probably complicated as
hell. Yeah.

(11:26):
I mean, I could just bring everybody into one spot, but it
really doesn't. I mean, yeah, I'll just do that
for now just because probably going to be the.
Easiest. You're there, but you're not
there. There we go.
You're a ghost. Hope I'm a friendly one like
Casper. Do you remember what your token

(11:48):
was? Oh, it's this blue guy, isn't
it? Wait, how do?
We I will not be here. You're you're not there, Emily.
Oh, OK. This.
Is you are here for viewing purposes.
Yeah, this is just the request. So I am.
I see, because that'll give people an understanding of what

(12:11):
sort of is happening above tableknowledge.
Yep, never hurt. Nobody.
Nope. So yeah, you're in the kitchen
right now with your I think thisis you.
No, no, that's, that's, that's one of your other character

(12:31):
tokens for 0, wasn't it? Yeah, that was the OG 0 token.
The blue 1 was. Is this the one then?
Yeah, this is the one. Is this green one?
Never mind. Yeah, do do change that.
I was stuck on blue for Matt because he's usually he usually
goes blue with his wizard depictions, but there you go,

(12:54):
you're in I. Sent you a couple of images on
discord you probably use. Yeah, I haven't gotten to
changing this one's out. No worries.
I put one on the table though. That just reminds me.
So yeah, the chicken token is sotiny it's ridiculous.
Like it looks like a flea. A vicious flea that will save

(13:16):
you on fire. Yeah, and you hear probably the
clacking of cat's claws echoing through the center of the the
ship as you hear her poofing or hear the him poofing.
Yeah, I'm going to ask a duny asas soon as like I appear, I'm

(13:37):
going to look around and be like, where's everybody?
We were in jail. You might want to keep it down.
We're still in jail, but you guys have been relegated to the
ship, or at least a couple of you have.
I don't know where everybody else is, really.

(13:58):
I just watched a very confusing situation of a judge it seemed
like trying to find and understand what the fuck
happened to the PNC zombies thatyou guys killed.
But just so you know, and you'reon the same page, the Admiral

(14:18):
and KIRO both say that we didn'tdo it so.
OK, right. We didn't do it.
I guess I'm going to stealthily make my way to the door that
leads to the deck, but I'm not going to go through it.
I'm going to see if I can hear anything through the door.

(14:42):
That's probably when you would have noticed cat more even than
just the claws, Matt. If I see her, I'll pull like
very quietly open the door of the the come closet and be like
cat I'm. Going to whip around real.

(15:06):
Fast shut up. Get in here.
Does Cat recognize this person 'cause I know Ash would, but
does Cat? Maybe I should check?
Was I'm wearing a mask? Well, yeah.

(15:29):
Sitting with Ash at the at the table.
No, it was. Cat never got to the table
because he was too worried aboutkilling me.
That's right. On Ash's lap was her baby and
you own easel, and the little girl at Flint exploded.

(15:53):
Yeah, Regina. Regina.
Yeah, Rick. Regina.
Yeah, from Regina. That's it.
Anyways, adopted daughter. All right, you never forget.
I was trying to. Remember it.
Did you eat breakfast with everybody before they went to
the the force field around the Spiro Wood forest and the PNC in

(16:18):
the lava tower and such? You may.
Not, I believe yourself. Because that's when he
introduced himself. Doesn't matter, we can do it
now. OK.
Yeah. She don't remember, she doesn't
remember. His whole thing is trying to be

(16:40):
non memorable so yay. Hey, I'm gonna turn around.
You don't know me. But you gotta trust me.
Don't go outside yet. I'm gonna instantly just like,

(17:02):
kind of like sit down on the ground and just pretend to be a
chicken because I don't know whothis is and just like let out a
little Magog, my default, like, don't know who that is.
I'm just a chicken. Don't mind me, Sir.
I kind of look up, do you know, can you like, I don't know,
introduce us or something? Oh.

(17:24):
You hear in both of your minds. Make sure everyone else can hear
too so that they know that this conversation is happening.
I don't know if we can do like agroup chat.
I don't. OK let me open up discord.
See that doesn't work. She just kind of like drones on

(17:45):
for a second. She's when you hear her I I can
only reach KIRO and the Admiral, but that's more than.
That would be perfect. They're here.
They're they're the ones that board the ship, right?
Well, they're not on me as of now.
They're. Nearby.
Yeah, directly adjacent. Great, then we've got a breakout

(18:07):
team and we've got people to break out if that's what the
Admiral wants here. All right, I turned the cat, put
this on, and I take out a tinfoil hat.
It's just cat size. This is my version of the ritual

(18:27):
spell forbiddens. I just let him put this little
tinfoil cap on me. I'll post forbidden this for
everyone. I I sit down, I'm like, OK,
what? This is going to help us escape

(18:48):
our friends or escape this place.
No, this is going to help us notget fucking caught.
No, I'm working. They're working everyday.
OK, good to know. Yeah.
All right. So, yeah, we're in prison.
The other two are, I think, up upstairs, right, Adune and they,

(19:12):
they're chained up. So we got to we got to get a,
some sort of group chat with them going and then we can
determine what to do from there.By the way, hi, I'm I'm the
wizard. Hi, I'm a wizard.
That's sick. We should compare notes
sometime. I need more ritual spells.

(19:34):
Definitely, but later. So we're still in jail, but
we're on a dune. A dune's in jail.
Yeah, everybody's in jail exceptfor some of the wily ones.
They they escaped somewhere, butlet's let's get the other two on
the line so that it's not just us chatting.

(19:55):
Admiral KIRO I, I think I got him here.
I renamed the group chat S chat hashtag run run rollers.
Adune, Adune, how are you? Are you OK?
They've been nice to you. Do I need to fuck somebody up?

(20:17):
As good as I can be being grounded after I just got
flight, it's a it's a little jarring.
You're unharmed. Yes, more I would.
I would say they kept me unmolested.
I think they were more afraid after one of them got too close
and I used some of my abilities to slap them.

(20:39):
Good. Oh yeah.
OK, first thing's taken care of first, all right?
Yeah. So what you said.
You said you have people there. Yes, the the the wizard the.
One that was on the ship. Yep 1 Formerly known as Matt

(21:03):
the. Wizard.
OK, I think that was his whole nomenclature, but I think he's
just going by the wizard currently.
It's a lot easier. And cat is as a board made out.

(21:25):
So, Admiral, we have cat and a talking corpse.
I mean this cat, OK, so at this point I have not registered that
I can actually hear or talk to anybody.
I just assume I'm talking to Aduna because that's how it's
always worked before, right? It's been like direct one-on-one
with Aduna. Yeah, and she transferred the
messages between us. Yep, that that is.

(21:50):
That is more or less accurate though.
And then she's like, wait a second here, I think, I feel.
Something and then she you guys that are wearing wearing cords,
which I think is everybody except for the wizard.
Yeah, one, since it's like a twisted braided construction,

(22:18):
one of the end braids kind of like unfurls a little bit and
like you somehow without really hurting or anything to kind of
unfurls at the back of your neck.
You can feel something move and then just start to dig into the

(22:39):
back of your neck there. There we go.
I I don't know what I did, but there was there was something
that that let me connect you allover over the long distance and
into one chat. It seemed like there was just
some sort of signal that I was able to grab.
Oh. Wait, this happens to everybody?

(23:00):
Or just to Cat and the wizard. Not to me.
Then it only happens to KIRO, the Admiral, and Cat because
they're the only ones with torques and in close enough
proximity for the dune to interact.
With them, well, that's not strange at all.
OK, all of. Cat's feathers stand up by and

(23:21):
then he's just puffed out now and he's like, Yep, I'm here.
Kat, it's good to see that you're well.
You're well. I'm glad to hear you guys too,
but where's everybody else? In the toilet, yes.

(23:45):
Oh, they followed that guy down the toilet, didn't they?
Yes, they. Did they did.
I watched him. Quite unsettling, but.
OK, so they are somewhere else and we have to get out of here

(24:06):
without that. Memories that aren't mine of
sewers in hell. There's actually like a bar down
there, so they might actually beOK.
They're probably like having drinks somewhere knowing those
people. But yeah, we have a bigger
problem because we have to get adune out of here and it seems
like we might have to fight to do that.

(24:28):
I don't think it's going to weird quietly.
You said my words and I have just an idea, but it might
require the help of two very stout Wizards.
I'm not a stout wizard. Very people, actually.

(24:52):
You. Can do a training montage.
We have time for that, right? I was giving you a compliment.
Thank. You it was part, it was a it was
a part of this wizard's agreement that he could not.
I'm I'm here to assist in ritualspells, but I'm mostly trying to

(25:16):
not cast real spells. I've got a limited amount of
them. That's not fun.
Mostly limited to divination, right?
And like support like we said. Yeah.
So I this this version of me is a is a simulacrum.

(25:36):
So I have the number of spell slots that I had when I got here
and they don't regenerate. That's it.
Yep. So I've got I've got some some

(25:57):
some sick rituals, though some if so, if we got some time,
which sounds like we do. I got got that we.
Have a bit of time, Patriots hero kind of eye rolls with the
the Admiral thinks that we did something and we did not do this

(26:21):
thing and they are accusing us and we're waiting for
adjudication currently so. I look at my records and I get
very confused. Look on my face.
OK, that's. The Spirit.

(26:42):
So we're waiting on them to decide your fate, and we're down
here in the boat and there's an ace.
So you guys, we have to decide are you guys trying?
So I guess that's the question. Are you guys I'm leaning into
like cats torque because I don'thave one.
Sorry that I have to get close. I don't have one of those cool
things. Are you trying to escape or are

(27:05):
you trying to like do this legally?
I mean, whatever gets us out of here faster.
I have AI have a plan to get us out and forward.
I like I said it's going to require 2 Wizards 1 to shield US

(27:27):
builders keep us safe for the moment and I'm going to need one
that can form a little trans configuration.
Are you both up to the task? I believe so.
That's incredibly vague, but sure, we'll see what we can do.
Can either one of you make a shield that can keep people out?

(27:53):
Yes, and I also have the abilityin.
You can't see it, but your friend's wearing a sick hat that
protects her from divination andother stuff.
I could cast that on an area or an individual or a ship.
I'm waggling my eyebrows now. You can't also see that.

(28:16):
I'll shut up. I see that is.
That is amazing and I know my good friend Cat can perform
transconfiguration. I can so I have a small arm pals
that can do this. So all we need now is to set the

(28:41):
lure and get our trap ready. I thought we were escaping it.
You are now. Trapping someone?
You need to explain this better.OK, give me.
Give me like a give me like a villain explaining to this to
the hero who's wrapped in rope. Explanation of your plan.

(29:03):
So my plan? My plan is going to be a little
a little dangerous, but Admiral my plan is for us to bring all
the leadership to to us for thistrial and KIRO brings his hand
out in like air quotes trial to bring all important leaders to

(29:23):
bear in this trial and then withthe help of the wizard the.
Wizard. We will shield yourself a Dune,
the wizard and Cat, and then I will have Cat transform me into

(29:51):
a very powerful entity and then I, as that entity will hopefully
send you to safety. Wait.
Hopefully. Send you to safety.
I have to be very, very careful with how I say the words because

(30:12):
or or things can happen that I don't intend them to happen.
We're just. Remember, just remember that
some teleportation magics are restricted in this area.
This is this is a very true statement.
I'm going to try and hope that teleportation of this caliber is

(30:36):
not. So we're we're hoping I'll stand
up, right? Now.
One could say that I'm going to wish my way out.
You have access to wish. You're not a wizard.

(31:00):
Not him currently, no. You'd have to True Polymorph for
shape change into something and what?
What level are you right now? I am level 15.
So you know you'd be able to pick something with CR15 or
less. I don't know of any creatures or

(31:22):
beasts that have the ability to cast Wish.
Hold on. I pull out a Monster Manual for
my backpack. All right, normally I'd shut up,

(31:46):
but also I want to make something else just just known
to you guys as well since I think it may have been missed.
I I pull out what looks to cat to be a very magical seed.
The tree this year is the the seed Macguffin.

(32:07):
I, I made it so basically, I don't know where it goes.
It plants somewhere and either level 1 of hell or right above
level 1 of hell. But if you plant it, it'll
create a cap that, that, that, that stoppers up the, the

(32:27):
opening to hell. And you could.
It sounds like you should do that on on the surface just
above the first level of hell. Yeah, so I, I don't know, I
mean, I'll hand it over to Kat. Maybe you can cast some of your
identifying spells on it to determine what the best place to

(32:49):
place it is. But so essentially, I'll, you
guys aren't here. OK, So we should probably free
you guys, right? We're going to.
It sounds like we're trying to escape.
Do do we know where your stuff is?
Because if we can get you out and the stuff, we could put the
Adune in the ship bottle, right? And then, didn't we?

(33:13):
And then escape. Partly for our stuff.
Back. Didn't we?
Probably for our stuff back at least.
No, no. It sounds like a wild trial
system to me. Oh, it sounds like we need to

(33:41):
either release you guys and thenyou guys assist getting the
stuff back and then we Vamanos or something.
I don't know. You tell me.

(34:03):
Well, we don't know where everybody else is.
We could possibly find out whereour stuff is, but the people who
are capturing us are not the easy to persuade variety.
So I think our best bet is probably to attack in the night
and fuck them up. Or try to sneak.

(34:23):
Out if we could do that, but if we sneak out, we're gonna leave
a bunch of our stuff. You guys said you knew where
your stuff was. I'm.
Gonna look over at Kira and be like, do you know where this
stuff is? And also like, can you see the
ship from where you are? Can we get to you and get you

(34:48):
out? Oh yeah, Like I made a deal that
we are on house arrest on the ship, so I am right next.
I don't actually, I don't understand why I'm not on the
ship right now. Should I be on the ship right
now? We should be on the ship right
now. But you're a chain to the chain
that's chaining A dune outside of the ship you.

(35:08):
Were I'm not in the ship, no. Yeah, I knew I was handcuffed,
but I thought that was like the ankle bracelet type of
handcuffed where I could like get on a dune.
No. Like be on a dune.
That was not. Yeah, I thought chain to the
floor. I thought I heard him say chain
to the floor. Yeah, outside of a dune.

(35:32):
Oh, I was like, right. Next to I would like you guys
are. Within Pfizer, I would like to
speak this for it. Yeah, that is.
Not the. This is not the deal. 1st I
made. If you're still nearby, we can
we can hopefully free you guys though.
Yeah. Right.
Yeah. I would not have left it being
chained on the floor next to it.Dune I I was like, I was arguing

(35:53):
for house arrest. I think I think you guys did
just because you were tired of arguing at.
That point. That's what.
I said. KIRO KIRO is is requesting his
emotional support chicken. All right.
Cat, do you have anything that will help us hide?

(36:17):
Help us. Hide.
Invisibility pass without trace.Just I was going to go back to
your identify though, it looks like were you actually casting
that? It looks like cat.
It is a ritual spell that I haveto cast so it takes like 11

(36:37):
minutes. So if it took us 11 minutes to
come up with a plan I would try to take that time to identify
this. But if it doesn't then I will
just save it for later you. Got all right.
Are fairly I was going to say that this conversation is
already left in more than 11 minutes.
So you you probably would have just been casting in some of

(37:00):
that I would say and figured outat least that especially with I
believe that's a natural 20 history check you were doing on
it too that I seen roll that yourolled.
That was actually to see if I recognize Matt, but I'll take it

(37:21):
from the seed. Oh, I miss I.
Didn't I can roll again for the seed if you want me to, no.
No, no, no, no, no, they identify is good enough for it.
It's it was more so I was tryingto build off of that too, to
some degree. We'll we'll use it for both
actually then because it's big enough and I missed it for the

(37:41):
other one. I didn't really realize.
You definitely recognize Matt from the time, at least his
face, whether or not this is actually him or not.
But from your times on the tablein the past, you know you don't
have continue memory of him, butyou you've still get a little
bit of a. No, from our mystical tea
parties. Yep, and and Remember, Remember

(38:05):
his face, and the seed in particular here seems.
To like the more you look at it.The more you can almost see
through its shell and when you cast identify on it, your head
goes back in like a vision of usall sitting at the table
building something in the middleof it.

(38:26):
With legos. Oh.
OK, got it. Got it.
A guffin. It's whatever you need it to be.

(38:54):
I do hate to say that I don't have anything that lets us hide.
It's on fire lightning with me. So the way that simulacrum
works, I can cast so I can cast ritual spells and I can cast

(39:15):
spells that I know, but once I use a spell slot, it's gone.
So let's see, do I have anythingthat I could use?
I have fly. I could fly us so that we're
silent. They're probably just right

(39:35):
outside. I mean, if they can't see
anyone, maybe we poke our heads up there and then just see if we
can release them. Oops.
Can A doing show us what she sees?
Did they take away her ability to see?
No, they did not take away her ability to see.

(39:57):
They wouldn't even know how at this point at least.
I have yet to. Try, I mean, and then you kind
of feel an image start to percolate in you guys's brain
about what's around, which doesn't really help Hero and

(40:24):
Mimi as they are kind of sittingdirectly next to her.
If anything gives them a little bit better perspective on how
big the room is that they're in because not only does she fit in
it, but it goes up like 4 or so stories and the I'm just going
to I'm. Just going.
To drop this here, it's going tobe the easiest thing.

(40:48):
And there are demons on each of those stories.
And it seems to be that she sitsin in the middle of this kind of
atrium space with the the floor is exposed on either side.
And these demons either chained to and working to some desks,

(41:08):
some overseeing the other demons.
But your eyes are immediately drawn to a a small 3 headed
puppy behind a dune that sits atthe edge of a putrid kind of
pure pool of water with a tiny boat and a crossed from a dune.

(41:33):
Then immediately to the giant demon that sits behind a desk
with a much larger version of this 3 headed dog on top of a
chest sleeping and an even larger demon behind that demon
that spans the whole the whole 4stories of the space that just.

(41:56):
Stays. There, in flames, breathing.
Damn, we might get a little. We just got a lot of shit to
fuck. Up guys, that'll be fun.
You can't really fuck shit up, so we need to get you guys out
so you can fuck shit up. Does your chains look magical at

(42:17):
all? Or cat?
Do you have any ability to lock Peck?
Detect Magic. I have fire bolt OK.
I do have a mage hand I. Mean that would be worth that

(42:38):
would at least keep it quiet, I think.
How's. It go.
Oh boy guys, what do we do? I wonder what the others are
doing. Yeah, I was going to say I can
give. You some time.
I just wanted to say a few of these here you.

(43:01):
Just wanted to say you're fuckedfucked.
You know, you looked around, tried to see if you could
escape. There's a big fuck you demon
right there. Fuck you.
Yeah, chances are low. A couple of things that happened
while you guys are there debating how fucked you are and

(43:24):
there seems to still be trials that are going on as you're
sitting there. One of which is a demonic tailor
that walks up and is accused of stealing mortal stealing

(43:45):
garments off of the off of off of the living and trying to sell
them to the undead. And they they find him guilty
and strip him of all his clothing and force and give him
an indentureship to work for histroubles.

(44:08):
He's like well it's not much different than before.
He he says, mumbling under his breath as you hear him nakedly
walking off. Wasn't getting paid that much in
the first place. I am going to cast detect magic
and look at my chains and all the things around and see if
there's any sort of magical aurakeeping a doona.
You cannot cast this spell. Can cast detect magic?

(44:33):
You you reach for your normal patron that you are so used to
feeling Lono at your back and don't seem to find him.
He's bastards, man. Seems like there is some sort of
interference, like there's the the calls not going through.

(44:56):
Wow, fuck. And then a right after that, 1A
nicely dressed demon walks up and is accused of stealing wine
for as a sommelier. And he his case is that he's he

(45:20):
was just tasting it to make sureit wasn't poisoned before he'd
served it. And they bring out someone that
you recognize in this case and their heads down.
But you, you specifically me mayrecognize them and although
they're a bashed a little bit even and kind of look back over

(45:40):
their shoulder at you and you rerecognize pop tart when they
when you guys eyes locked and hepulls out what looked popped art
or pop. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And he pulls out a painting of what looks like the situation of

(46:01):
that same sommolier being belligerently drunk at his job,
having downed a couple bottles of wine.
It looks like the painting. And then he kind of moves it
back and forth and you can see it kind of animate across the
face of him doing this. And he and he's like we've hired
this individual with. Sounds like back there they

(46:25):
they'd suggested gold to the living.
We're trying this out on a service of base basis for his
trouble and and it looks like he's caught you in the act.
We've decided to put up these cameras he's designed quite
effective in catching culprits like yourself.

(46:48):
And you just see the simulia like standing there, like, how
is this proof? What is this?
This is just fakery, our fans fakery.
And he's like, Nope, there is the artist's signature at the
bottom can't be faked or overwritten.
You are going away for a long time, he says, banging the
gavel. And the gavel clangs off of the

(47:09):
desk. And you see, as he's still
trying to beg his case, his soulleave his.
Body before it puffs in a way and A and a mist of cloud of
actually he's a demon. A fiery cloud into the same
Flyers fires that the demon at the end of the hall is standing
on and you can see his corpse fall down and he's the judge

(47:30):
waves for some of the demons of above to grab his corpse and
take it off. Yeah, so you're fucked anyway.
I wonder what our friends are doing it'd.
Be worse than this, right? They're probably safe, I hope.

(47:53):
Everybody's trashed. And we'll come to save the day.
Going. Down, down.
That's the. Grand Am blinking up.
He's the least covered in mud, blinking up at whoever is the
bar Keep down here. Mud.
Right mud. Keep telling.

(48:18):
Yourself. Whatever you have to tell
yourself. Mud.
You guys didn't make it into thebar last week?
Bothered by it? Yeah, that's true.
Got it. You guys were just about to walk
through to the other side after Alfred had tried to vouch for

(48:38):
you and like the the like. I am still in snake form by the
way. Yeah, you were going to
transform, I think we said. That after it was Raul that had
the the clean spell, right? Yeah.
No, I was going to beg Raul to to clean the muck off of her

(48:59):
before she transforms. Sure.
Bless your soul. I cleaned you.
I owe you. I write that down be.
Careful, I still have an IOU from Mariel, but it never cashed
in, never will. She owes him to a similar level

(49:22):
of favor. It's not.
It's not a blanket I owe you. Yeah, I know, just a fucking
idea. Oh, I feel like I I need to
clarify. And as you're as you're cleaned
off in the snake form and you form back into Nim away at that

(49:44):
point, the guy that was standingat the door walks in front of
Alfred to stop him from walking through and says Alfred's the
demon. Hold on.
Hold your hold your fiery pants there.
Alfred. The last time you came through
these doors, you owed. Me a sizable sum.

(50:10):
He goes, can't you just, you know, put it on my tab?
No, no, no. Gerald handles the tabs at the
bar. We're going to have to settle
this one way or another before Ilet you or any of your friends.
And he just turns to you guys and he's like, guys, guys, do
you have like, I don't know, like 25 gold?

(50:32):
No. You just hear zero from the
back. We really don't know you like
that, so I don't know if you're your friend.
Waddles. Forward.
Waddles forward, reaches into like his pocket and pulls out 25
golds worth of silver. But it's like it's like a kid

(50:54):
offering you a piece of candy hejust shoved in his pocket.
It's like got twigs and acorns stucked like in it and.
Like. Holds it up like he's giving the
guard a treasure. So there to clarify there is no

(51:15):
actual like currency in that. I said it was no, it was 25
silver. But it's also.
Got a bunch of like garbage mixed in with the like leaves
and twigs and like probably somehair.
Well, he thought he was pulling that out, but remember, you
don't have anything. Right.

(51:36):
Fuck. We don't have anything.
So you pull out the the tig twigs and sticks and everything
like that and hand it towards Bart and he's just like.
That's not going to do. I can let.
That's good. Your loss, your loss.
Great. Damn.
Then shoves a twig in his mouth and starts chewing.

(51:59):
I could let. I mean, you're probably not
going to be able to pay for anything in there, but I I could
definitely let you guys in that aren't if you're not going in
with Alfred and he's Alfred's just over there just like, and
then he's like, but wait, wait, I could perform for my, for for
for my I I. Don't care about.

(52:20):
Performing. That's Gerald again.
He's like, damn it. What if we kick him in the back
of the crowd? Would you let him in if we kick
him a bunch in front of you? And he, like, strokes his chin
and he's like. Granddamned odds approvingly of
this idea. Like he'll get in right, and
we're doing him a favor. You see, you just see.

(52:42):
Cyril's hands start to radiate with the soft light, like he's
ready. We're not going to kill, just
beat him up a little. How about, you know what would
be a fair deal? He's a terrible musician.
I don't want to hear him sing again.
I'll, I'll let you past the nexttime you come through.

(53:06):
It's going to be down to 20 goldfrom the 25.
He's looking at Alfred, squinting.
But one of you guys are going tohave to take and break his
instrument on his head and he like he's clutching and he's
like, no. Zero walks.
Zero walks up and attempts to snag the the instrument from

(53:31):
him. We're the good guys.
Y'all might be, I'm not. I don't know anything natural.
One so you I'm you can roll, butI'm pretty sure.
Is it a strength check? Yep.
I got to put. Instrumental your fingers.

(53:53):
I got a nine so. So you you yank it right out of
his hands and he's like, no. And you just see Cyril toss it
around in his hand for a SEC like toss the the base the like
whatever he part he would be gripping it by.
And then you just hear wood justcrack as 01 handed just reach

(54:17):
over and just cracks it over hishead.
Why? And then you just hear Bart
laughing maniacally. You.
Guys. And then and then you just see
Zero just absolutely slam the handle against the wall to break
the rest of it and then just go back to wherever he was
standing. You see Bart fully in tears.

(54:39):
Like just. I went down next to him and
whispered, that's what the real power fears.
Like kidding. I don't do that.
We're. The good guys.
Yeah, Stereo's just in the back chatting with the roles at this
point. Just he's just over ready to go

(55:00):
here. Yeah.
Is just like chuckling to himself laughing like and opens
the door and kind of sits to theside on it barrel.
You guys are, you guys can go inand Alfred kind of like crawls
in on his hands and knees. I pick up all the pieces and I
kind of whisper to Grand Am. Do you happen to have mending?

(55:21):
I was kind of betting on that. I drew it.
We don't get that one. Fuck dude.
Wait, shit, I was going to. Say I thought you did.
Ah, no s s over here. You're.
Having this conversation. And even as dirty as he is, you

(55:42):
just see him smile at you and then just continue walking.
'Cause I figured, like, you know, you break his weapon and
you just mend it right after. Grand Am does not know Mending,
but he is going to like sit and try to like use druid craft to
make the wood grow back together.

(56:03):
But he's going to look, he's going to do it like a little kid
putting together like a vase with super glue before mom gets.
Home. Oh, that's a good idea.
Sierra's going to walk over and stoop next to Grand Am like I'm
because I'm assuming Grand am islike on the floor trying to put
this back together. Sierra's going to walk over and

(56:23):
stoop next to Grand Am and just be like, I hope you know I will
break it again if you repair this.
Like I had fun doing that. I'm going to do it again as
long. As you enjoyed yourself Grand
Am. Grand Am does not know mending,
though he will if the wood. I don't think druid craft can be

(56:47):
used that way, but like if we'reallowing it, Grand Am would try.
What is it? Like druid craft allows you to
like do like little things with plants and wood being a plant
like plant material. Wondering if I could like stick
it. Back he wants to sing the wood
in the shape. Yeah, I get what you're saying.

(57:07):
Let me see what it says here. Because like, that's the reason
I think we did that right, is wecould prepare it easily.
Now we're just assholes. I don't have mending I.
Can't. Shit, wow.
You just see small small one. Little PR mix up here and there

(57:29):
is all right I guess. Zero's just looking to charge in
and out in the hallway. Are we going in or I just gonna
sit out here and mess with this the entire time?
Oh, we could go in. It was a broken loot too if

(57:51):
you're if anyone's putting it intheir.
Inventory, That's what I was picturing it as, so I'm glad it
was. Well, as they continue to pick
up that mess, Zero's gonna go inand look around.

(58:16):
It would take you a while, but this is a canned trip I guess,
and I could feasibly think of you like.
Grand Am's just gonna like put everything in a bag and then
just like as he's walking along, his tongue sticking out, he's
just gonna like, and you're one piece at a time.
Yeah, and you're, you're a probably probably would be able
to not only like one piece at a time, but not get to like some

(58:39):
of the metal bits, obviously. But I think that would I
feasibly I can, I can see where your mind's at, especially
because with the length of time that it's going to take you to
do it because it's like talking about a flower blossom or a seed
opening or leaf budding. So you can theoretically with it

(59:01):
make the plant matter and it move and mend together.
I I would say well. What about Agonon does she have?
Or is it Nimoy? Nimoy.
I've looked close, Nimoy. Of course you have mending
minor. Crisis.
Oh no. There's a weird bug in the house
and we were chasing it around trying to catch it and put it

(59:22):
outside. I love weird bugs.
But I'm back now. No way Sierra is going to keep
looking back through the door and eventually walk back out and
just stand next to your end and he repairs his waiting to snag
it from him so he can crack it over his head again.
So for all intents and purposes,Nimoy was daydreaming about
Agonon. So she comes to and she goes,

(59:44):
what? What was that now?
You just see Sierra with the shit out of the Sierra with the.
You just see Sierra with the most like malicious smirk on his
face as he waits for grant him to repair this.
To repair what? The.
In order in order to get the thedemon that showed us how to get

(01:00:06):
here into the club because he owes money and we can't pay for
it because we don't have anything, we offered to break
his instrument over his own head.
Well, we hopefully having. We didn't offer, we were asked
to and I had a good time doing it so.
What does this accomplish? Getting us in.

(01:00:29):
He well not we were allowed in. It gets the guy in.
He was, he was not going to be allowed in.
We didn't get the pain. So he caused.
We were helping. Harm to himself in order to
repay debt. We caused bodily harm to him.
Yeah, he did. I like the thing over his head.
And how does that convince the barkeep to allow him in?

(01:00:50):
He, I don't know, we had a good time watching it.
Yeah. OK, so this was a a debt of
pain. Yes, now we're hoping we can fix
his his loot since we broke it over his head, but we don't have
mending and 0 looks like he's really about ready to destroy it

(01:01:12):
again as soon as someone fixes it.
You just Zero is just going to smile at both the Roarls and it
William. He just looks like somebody's
bad ass kid doing something theywere just told not to do.
Oh, the poor instrument did not deserve this faith.
He. Hi, well I'm dirty because I

(01:01:33):
watched him flush himself down the toilet so me breaking it
over his head made me feel really good 'cause I'm still The
Dirty 1 here. Y'all are clean now did.
We have to Oh, hey, actually youcould you could just ask is it
chair right there? Crested digitation.
You as well. There, now you're clean.
This whole time everyone was just sat in the bag looking like

(01:01:54):
some kind of wet puppy. I just got to ask man, I can't
continue. Smuttering about damaging works
of art. And Ciro's just looming over
Green Dome as he fixes this. So you guys going inside?

(01:02:16):
While this entire kerfuffle is happening.
I am and I could use to forget the past 30 minutes of my life.
Thank you. I also have to figure out how to
save the captain because we're in like, danger.
Are you able to move your characters there, Matt?
Or you just not looking? I'm smoking weed right now.

(01:02:39):
OK. I was just checking to make sure
that you could move them. I think you can though.
Oh no, they're not. Oh, wait.
Maybe it's different because I have them all.
OK. Whatever.
Yeah, you guys all walk into thebar and there was some soft

(01:03:02):
music playing when the door cracked, but kind of like also
grungy ish music. And the bar that you walk into
is pretty rough and tumble. It looks like on the inside a
mix of patrons, all shapes, sizes, sorts, colors sitting

(01:03:23):
around and kind of hard to tell where the music is actually
coming from because it doesn't seem like anyone's playing right
now. It still smells horrid in here
though. There is not.
It is the the smell from outsideseems to have not have just
followed you inside, but have been inside, lived inside of

(01:03:45):
this place and died inside againand came back to life inside of
this place somehow. And it's now a bar, which you
see inscribed just next to the door as you walk by it, a little
sign that says hooch and pooch. Sierra's completely unenthused

(01:04:08):
while they're still waiting on Grand AM to fix the thing,
because he really wants to hit him again just one more time.
Please use a different. Weapon Are you good at
convincing people? Are you a talker?
What other weapon? Do you have?

(01:04:29):
Oh, there's there's. There's a mug of hell right
there. Grand Dam is very, very good at
talking to people, he says, one eye lazily drifting off towards
another direction. I'm also decently good at
talking to people when I don't feel like being rude though. 9
Grand Dam believes. He is very convincing.

(01:04:50):
You do not believe so. Nope, not.
Me time to hero. It'll be you and me then,
because we're we're both pretty charismatic.
Can I hit? Can I hit this dude one more
time first? Just one.
I mean, I'm not your mom. I walk away.
Where are the good guys? How much longer?
How much longer would granddad have to repair this like?

(01:05:12):
He said it would take a long time.
Yeah, unless boy had a mending, but I don't think she does.
Zero. Since the dudes still crawling
on the floor and 0 still wants to hit him again, he's going to
grab the chair from one of the tables and crack it over his
back. Past the Spirit.
One of them, but. No, the the table from outside.

(01:05:34):
He's going to drag this chair from the table from outside and
crack it over his back. So you guys are all walking in.
Alfred's crawled his way in, andyou drag a chair from outside to
inside and everybody turns, turns to look at you as you beat
the demon down. And they're just like.
Yeah, take his money. And that's forgetting me dirty.

(01:05:59):
That one was forgetting me dirty.
And and then as he's on the ground, 0 slaps him one more
time and then he's done. Grand Am looks very sad that you
broke the loot that he just worked so hard to fix.
It was a chair, it wasn't the loot.
OK, I missed that one. OK, he's less problem.

(01:06:19):
He's less disturbed about that. What's the I'm going to walk up
to the bar? Improvised weapons.
Zero's going to follow follow the Royals after that
interaction. I was trying to figure out
damage to see if one, he broke the chair and if and two if
Alfred's unconscious. Improvised.

(01:06:41):
I would do it as just like a club.
OK, you wouldn't have proficiency to strike as your.
You don't have proficiency with improvised weapons I would
assume. It's only Marshall and simple.
Yeah. OK.
So, so it would be just yeah. So then roll ADD 20.

(01:07:04):
I'm assuming it's going to hit just because he's not moving.
He's prone so it has advantage as well.
I see. Yeah, that would that would hit.
So that works and the. You're not going to save anyone.

(01:07:25):
Yes, you're fucked. Well, everybody in the bar liked
it. Did you roll that D4 for damage?
I was just trying. To no Hold on.
No, everybody else in the bar, Isaid like cheered and said I got

(01:07:47):
to take his. Money I got to money.
The chaired leg breaks when you hit him with it, but the rest of
the chair seems to be intact. So there are three legs left.
And he's just, like, cavering onthe ground.
It didn't seem to really, you know, knock him unconscious, but
he's still kind of whimpering, like.
Seeing that the chair only partially broke, Cyril would

(01:08:09):
then sling the chair at an emptyspot on the wall.
Big feelings trying to. And the name we need to save the
captain and Dune and everyone. We need to stay somewhat

(01:08:34):
focused, right? I guess.
I guess. Hearing y'all talk about.
What was later? Hearing y'all talk about it zero
would just be like right right And then walk away from the from
Alfred and follow the Royals. And rest of the chair breaks

(01:08:55):
against the wall, no problem. Didn't seem to be that sturdy.
So do we know that they're at the main like court area on
trial right now? I don't think so.
The last we heard they were in the prison with us, but we knew
that they were going to be put on trial.

(01:09:20):
OK. And then we heated ourselves
down the toilet, either on purpose or an accident.
So if we can find our way up through the toilets of their
cells and have them join us. Right.
We should talk to whoever the leader is here.
They would probably know how to do that.
But won't they be on the side ofthe PNC?

(01:09:44):
I this is a thieves Guild I assume.
I walk up to the guy who's whimpering on the ground and I
kick him a little bit. Hey, hey, you and and as you
were walking up to him and you, you are a.
Source of info now. Yeah, he's still.
There is also going to sit down next to him so he's just

(01:10:05):
surrounded by a couple of angry cats and then 0 kneeling at his
face. And he does.
But the good guys. And he doesn't doesn't respond
at first as he's just whimpering, but a dwarf from the
side comes up and and says. Are you done with him?
Can I? Can I do?
You want them. Yeah, I'll, I I've got some uses

(01:10:26):
for him. Zero's going to slip, you know
about the scruff of his neck andtoss him over to him.
No, no, no. How much are you offering here?
Let's hold on. We have something he wants.
Zero's just like him. Like Zero just has him in air
jail at this point. He's just holding him by the
scruff of his neck, off at the ground.

(01:10:48):
Well, he seems like a piece of trash and.
Yeah, but it's super fun to kick.
Over there it was him like 25 gold, I'm pretty sure so you
know slave this round would be like 100.
How's how's 50 gold sound? I mean, you did just say 100, so

(01:11:10):
could we negotiate 75? Oh, I don't know about that.
That's he did. I don't think he's worth that.
I was just going to turn him into some some some juices.
So corns. And maybe that.
No. No, no.
No, no, no. I mean since you did just say

(01:11:32):
100 what? And then stuttered back and said
50. I said he would be worth that if
he was also a piece of shit and also owes that guy 25 gold
'cause you know, as soon as I walk out of here with well now.
It's now it's 20 since I broke his loot or thing over his head.

(01:11:52):
True cost savings. Oh, OK.
Anyway, we shouldn't. Tell people we're getting you a
discount on the debt so that wayyou can give us more money at
the time. We shouldn't sell people, right,
Right. I look at every other everyone
else. Well y'all might be against this
but I but there's a bar over there and I want to drink so.

(01:12:13):
That's true. Don't have?
We're negotiating. It's a hostage situation.
Obviously. Sarah just holds.
Has Alfred held like 2 feet off the ground by the scarf of his
neck? Way more important things to do
than this. Yeah, they're OK.
Yeah, you're right. Cat, you've been here before,

(01:12:34):
right? No, you're not OK.
Cat's not there. Me May.
Me May has been here. Before so can I sell him for the
50 gold? No.
Why? He's our in close source and he.
Has worth the how am I going to get a drink?
I'm not going to perform for this dude like.
Who said anything about performing?

(01:12:55):
The the guy in the outside, saidthe bartender, Wolf.
We're not talking to him. We're hard to talk to the guy
that runs the place. Well, y'all might.
I I'm done. I'm moving on.
So you go down the stairs and over to the bar.
Yeah, see y'all are going over to the bar and you just hear

(01:13:16):
Cyril very angrily toss the Alfred towards the dude and walk
over to him for his payment. Grand Am turns around and will
kneecap 0. If he tries to sell this
individual, demon or not, into slavery, he'll he'll kneecap the

(01:13:37):
other guy too. So are are you just going to
grab Alfred after KIRO kind of tosses him towards him then?
And grab him, throw him over hismy shoulder and just like put
him in a corner, put his loot back in his lap.

(01:13:58):
We write our name on, him on. His.
Forehead rum rollers. Trapity 0 just does the thing
where he points towards his eyesand then points back at him with
the two fingers and then like looks down at the loot for a

(01:14:18):
second and then walks away. OK, we have to be heroes guys.
Let's save our friends. Well, I'm not.
I'm not signed in the contract that says I have to be a hero,
so I'm not going to be. I'm going to have fun with it.
Your friends are under. Your friends are in trouble.

(01:14:38):
OK. That's priority number one and
we can have a little separate side priorities.
All right, we get to the bar. In the.
Me main she she sees still here, and she gone.
Isn't she trained above? Yeah, she's trained above.

(01:15:00):
Oh yeah, she is, damn it. It's everybody.
I was trying to think of like. Who made it's Everybody But Me,
Make Hero and Cat. Right.
So it's the world's me, Nimoy and Grand Am who are down here.
So we are looking for for Nobunaga, are we not?
Yes, that guy. And.

(01:15:23):
Guys are whispering amongst yourselves.
Then I'm guessing as the bartender approaches, he's got a
just a row of hair around a verylarge bald spot on the top of
his head and very luscious button chops.

(01:15:44):
And he walks up and he goes, What can I get you?
Looks like you've all been through the ringer.
Information and hopefully assistance.

(01:16:07):
I can possibly help with either of those things for the right
price. We need in the tower.
In the tower, Which tower would that be there, Sunny.
The big one. That's not a lot of information

(01:16:28):
to go by. There's a lot of fat twats that
build tall towers. So you're saying more than just
the PNC tower deposits deposits its sewers into the system?
Oh, why there's just we're connected to every sewer system
on tars. Fascinating.

(01:16:52):
Into the PNC tower. Oh the ah, that would make sense
with that devil boy you got there.
He points towards the downtrodden looking Alfred.
Well, if you'd be looking to getinto this tower then there'd be

(01:17:14):
a mighty fine price involved with it.
Although we deal in favours as well as coin.
Does what? If the favour involves going in?
Sure. I can hit this dude a couple
more times if that will suffice.Oh, he now it's just, but he's

(01:17:38):
out there. He's a rough tumbled sword.
I'm not into the same fuckery that bastard is.
My name is is Grout, if you werewondering.
Might I know who I'm speaking with?
He raises an eyebrow. Well, so you're just kind of

(01:18:08):
looks at the Royals if we're. The rock rollers and I do AI do
a little tumble bow thing where like I'd do jazz hands today.
Them away, Curtis. Climbs up onto the bar so he can
be like relatively eye level andoffers the fellow a handshake.
And you just see Cyril flutter his wings like Sicily behind him

(01:18:32):
as he fixes his appearance in a clean glass that is sitting on
the bar. And Alfred is is just sitting
there, still with his shoulders hunched and kind of wiping the
the random tear off every now and again and growing.
A little bit. Get up.
You're one of us. Now do the thing.

(01:18:58):
Reaches across the the the bar, but you realize that you were at
eye level when you were sitting there.
And he is of a gnomish heritage because he's standing on a stool
to get him up high enough on theother side.
So he still reaches across and shakes your hand though, and

(01:19:21):
firmly with with his smaller hand fitting in your hand, he
grasps it with a second hand to hold on, presumably to match
your strength. Nice to meet you, I'm grand am.
Nice to meet you Grand am this BAA soul to replace here that

(01:19:45):
you find yourself in. But we do some right dealing as
well. If you hold by your word, we
hold by your ours. It's nice to meet you all.
He says to each each of you. And I think I've heard of these

(01:20:11):
rum rollers. It's a been a wild ride for you
all, but I'm not seeing any of those that wait maybe and he's
looking closer at the rows. Might you be those?
I've never been here. Before, no, no, not here, but I

(01:20:36):
was hearing some tales, the Pooty tats that helped bring
Dragon's breath back to Socrates.
Yes, we have an exclusive contract with both companies.
Aha, well that is an interestingdeal.

(01:20:57):
We might find ourselves of worthy stock to transport such a
high value item. I mostly hired a bunch of
turtles so far. Well, they might have a what's

(01:21:18):
the word monopoly? No, no, not quite monopoly, but
they have a. We have a monopoly.
They have a high possibility in the seas, but their
transportation is much slower, as you can suspect being
connected to all the series in the world not much more than a

(01:21:42):
few days from. The gender top sound like poop,
right? They'll be poopy dragon, right?
Yeah, yeah. Tell you, no, no, it's not a bad
idea. We could talk about it.
We could talk about it. But what we really need, this is

(01:22:02):
a crucial time, is to save our friends from trial and then
leave. If you can do that, then I'm
sure the Admiral will look favourably on the business
opportunities. I Unfortunately I'm not Captain.

(01:22:26):
OK. Well, I mean, if you can't
promise that, then I don't know what other businesses we might
have. You mentioned getting to a trial
and to this tower. However, the means to get you
there aren't free and I can't broker deals on promises.

(01:22:51):
Possible promises at that. That normally how it works.
No, you just. Isn't that what the loan is?
We don't do that, yeah. You don't do loans.
No. You should do loans.
No, it's a huge money maker. You do it.

(01:23:13):
If you target people who can't pay them back and have an
exorbitant rate of interest, youcan lock them down for their
entire lives. We're the good.
Guys. A lot a.
Lot just nodding in the corner and like he's reached.
At this point he's done fixing his appearance and he's reached
over and started petting one of the Roarals as they're talking.

(01:23:37):
It sounds like a lot more like The Dirty twats that you're
headed towards. Bag the they They like getting
people's life sentence or souls on there.
Oh, and not want that we just the living, we want that money.

(01:23:58):
We they are just they are just nods and continue spending the
one rural that's next to him. We generally don't have to
resort to those measures it on it's as we just hire someone to
take someone else's money. Why would we were thieves?
If you have them, sure this. That's what banks are

(01:24:19):
professional anyway. I can.
I can, I'm pretty sure, promise you that we could make a deal
about distribution of the of theDragon's breath outside of
Socrates, because that is our home turf and we need to control

(01:24:41):
everything there. But outside of that, I'm sure
the captain would be amenable assoon as we can talk to her.
What? She's just there's lot of riches
could be yours. Well, I mean, it would be of
interest to me. He starts stroking his his scalp

(01:25:05):
where his hair would be, kind ofstarts rubbing it.
And then he's then he leans backfrom waxing his head and puts
both hands on his hip. And he says, but again, I can
give. You at least enough information
to get yourself there yourself if that's more of your interest,

(01:25:27):
but in return I think there's a contract out for some hidden
riches that you speak of side ofthis PNC tower.
Riches saying. Zero's eyebrows raised, but he's
still petting that one roar slowlike some kind of, it's like,

(01:25:52):
you know how like in movies, thevillains will have like a cat on
their lap and they're just sitting there petting it.
That's Zero at this point. He's just petting the roar with
a the smuggest look on his face at this point.
They spin around in their chair. They were as part of some sort

(01:26:14):
of fabrication techniques, creating some anti magic
generators for a particular faction outside of the PN called
the Neophytes. We were occasionally lucky
enough to find the finished products around, but we were

(01:26:35):
never able to remove any of the power sources.
Something like that and try to create recreate our own.
We've sold a couple replicas. Fake of course.
You know great, you know how thethe money schemes all go it
sounds like. But if we could find a true anti
magic source that they have somehow acquired, that would be

(01:27:00):
of massive interest to the Guildas a whole and Nobunaga who sits
above you. You're just looking for
something that creates anti magic.
No. Well see, these machines that
they had us transport would create an area of.

(01:27:22):
I think they're emitted somewhere in the range of 5000
radius void areas of magic, justno magic at all.
So we presume that their power source must be very strong.

(01:27:44):
Yeah, and let me just ask you. And it's somewhere hidden inside
the level 1 of hell. Yes, the, the, the, that's the
one. The one that's burst forth onto
onto the plains of Tariff now and finds itself inside of the
PNC tower that you so desperately want to get into.

(01:28:21):
I could, if you are so willing to get, give me but a minute.
I can speak to my colleagues andget you some maps to find where
we think those power sources arehidden.
And if you promise to snag US1 and he pulls out a a a a whistle

(01:28:45):
that has a puppy engraved on it,playing happily, although it's a
hell hound puppy, and sets it onthe table.
All you'd have to do is blow this and we can send one of our
delivery hounds to pick it up. Sarah looks down and Tararo,

(01:29:12):
he's hitting, and it's just like, this is really your
decision, so. My decision?
Oh shit, silly am I. You're the you're the money for
one here. We've we've already established
that I'm pretty and stupid, so. And what is he giving us in
trade for locating one of these, breaking us into the tower?

(01:29:35):
The route to. The.
To where the others are? How does he know what their
names are? Where?
Well, well, he where he thinks they are, I suppose.
Zero, just like you can see Sierra lean back in his chair a
little bit and look, make a faceand then away from around the
corner. We're in a thieves Guild.

(01:29:57):
How do you think they know whereanything is?
They have connections. And then he just goes back.
Now he's. Going to find out for us.
I was just suspicious that somehow he knew where they were
when he faint to not know where we had come from.
That's that's just what I was suspicious of.

(01:30:18):
So he's saying he can find wherethey are.
Where the Oh you? He seemed to be implying he knew
where they were after he had just claimed to not know where
we had come from and I was suspicious.
But you meant he's going to findwhere they are.
No, he he has information on where they might be here.

(01:30:45):
Where they might be what? Where in like in the tower to
find them once you. Once you what I think you might
be cutting out. Oh sorry, how to find the the
power sources once you're insideof the tower?

(01:31:07):
No, I meant OK, so we we're finding these power sources for
him. What is he giving us in return?
The location of our friends. The the the the way to get.
Back to the tower. Not the location of our friends,
the way to the tower. But we know the way back.
We just came from the toilets. Oh, we, we can't climb back up.

(01:31:30):
I see the tunnels too. We can climb back up, I can
climb. You can hold on to my back or we
pair. Through the poop pipe.
Sure. Technically, yes.
Because I can test of. Against the force of the poop.
Love the poop pipe. How often does it poop?

(01:31:53):
Constantly. Oh OK, I did not realize that
that was rather viable. I.
Have a splint speed though grip,it would hold their breath.
It would be quartered if not it for at, we'll say just half for

(01:32:15):
easy math and and that was a very long pipe.
What? You're saying is it's possible?
As long as you don't need to breathe, I guess.
Walter breathing, guys, I can cast Walter breathing.
That is not water. Partially water.

(01:32:44):
Maybe we can just not have conjecture and just like, yeah,
we'll do that, I'll do that. I'll get you whatever.
Get us inside. OK, let me go talk to my guy.
And he dressed yours towards theother bartender and he he says.
A round of drinks on us then. And the other one.

(01:33:06):
You just see, you just see Siro smile at the Royals and then
look back at Alfred like you're spared this time.
I'll lean in and be like, do youthink this 5000 foot anti magic
sphere would affect the very necromancy magic undead that
this whole place is full of? So you're just already?

(01:33:35):
Turned on No. I don't, I think.
I think he was saying that Pete, they were working on it for
them. What if we?
Because, I said we turned it. On and just like all over the
magic off right, sorry, what didyou say?

(01:33:59):
Sarah just looks down at the Royals and smiles.
It's cute that you think I wouldbe the one to know this as he
continues to pet the Royals. He's just sitting there just
surrounded by these cats at thispoint, I'm assuming.
His free round of drink? He just begins.
Is the Royals drink just like spiked milk?

(01:34:23):
Yeah, it's it's like fermented yaks milk fermented to come to
it. They love it.
Zero. Just I'm trying to think of what
0 would order realistically. Certainly temple.

(01:34:47):
He gives me like more herbal vibes and not so much fruity so
I don't know. Martini or a Cosmo?
I'll take the martini. Actually, he'll take that.
He's just sipping on the martinias he's pitting the Royals as
they drink the yak's milk, just looking like some kind of super
villain. The.
Bartender is able to provide thethe milk no problem.

(01:35:10):
It seems like he's like, Oh yeah, nobody's ordering that.
Yeah, people flush that shit down here all the time.
Yeah, here you go. And then you say martini.
He just kind of, you see him like Lip, like going like across
his lip, like he's trying to sayit and he's more.
Teeny, teeny. Is that like some sort of small

(01:35:33):
Pixie drink? I don't.
I don't know what goes into that.
Could I roll a hold up, hold up?Well, what kind of let me decide
which how I want to work this out up?
Can I roll a No? I don't want to do that
actually, never mind. Hold up.

(01:35:55):
Can I ask one of the worlds whata martini is made of?
The significant order an exact. Well, a martini is made out of
gin, vodka and a garnish. You know, just looks back up

(01:36:24):
with the bartender and the royalsays that and just continue
fading the royal like he's just and it's just like there's he
told you like. Yes, yeah, that's what it is
anyway. And OK, don't know quite what
those are, but I assume. And he just starts pouring clear

(01:36:45):
liquid into a glass. And then you see him like grab
like what looks like some sort of Pickles.
You're not quite sure what kind of Pickles though, because
they're like multi formed and multi shaped.
And then you just a little bit in, in the, in the glass and
then puts, puts one of them in the glass and he's like, there
you go. It looks right to me.

(01:37:07):
Sarah's going to drink you. He don't care.
All right, now we need to save the captain.
Is that a drink too? No, I'm not talking to you.
I'm talking to my friends. OK, well, all right.

(01:37:30):
I still get if I I can drink drink as much.
As it saddens me. Is everybody else OK with like,
a dark beer? That's what we got right on tap,
right here, right now. I I won't stay.
I want all of it. All of it.

(01:37:50):
I'll take hers. OK, I'll give you some of the. 2
glasses then of the and he poursout too small.
They're kind of like barrel shaped mugs.
They don't even have handles on them.
They're just like tiny barrels that he sits down in front of
you, like the size of a mug. And they're full to the brim

(01:38:14):
with liquid that almost draws inlight.
Like when you're looking at it, you're not sure if it's black or
if it's just an absence of all colors.
You're just watching the Royals drink the yak's milk and sitting

(01:38:35):
there questioning what yak's milk would even taste like
silently to himself. Grand Am will just drink this.
And. Put a parch his lips on the side
and just make like flat like mugflat on the table.

(01:38:56):
His lips just like, barely wrapping around the side as he
just, Yep, just slips. It up cool.
Do you get it? Those that are drinking
Constitution rules 0 with a withdisadvantage.

(01:39:25):
OK, what does that mean again? Just roll it twice, take the
lower of the two. Hold up, I did the wrong thing
for me. You said saving through.
Or what? Yep, Constitution A6, rural.

(01:39:57):
The Six. No, what are you getting?
Oh, you got a six as well? Yep.
Oh. OK well grand Am this is 1
hearty beer, but you it's it's pretty delicious.
It's a taste like it's from an Adeep dark Obsidian mind from

(01:40:17):
your youth that you remember as if they had been using the
Obsidian in the process of clarifying the beer.
And maybe that's where it's colours come from.
And your yak's milk is is hitting a little bit harder than
you're expecting, Raul, because you are now buzzed and 0 you're

(01:40:44):
now blackout. Oh, he's having a good time, I.
Have to say, Captain. He's just kind of serious, just
kind of smiling, still painting the rivals, just having the time
of his life. Like he went from being mad at

(01:41:05):
Alfred being in such a good movie like.
But yeah. She was also gonna eat whatever
pickled thing. Is it in the thing?
Like he's gonna eat the garnish. It's like any things that looks

(01:41:27):
animal enough. Oddly enough, it reminds you of
probably one of the best cue like cucumber Pickles that
you've had, but still with like a a weird shape.
It's like got 3 ends to it. So it's kind of not the single

(01:41:51):
cylinder that you would usually get from a from it and it's also
orange on the inside. When you bite it, you realize,
and it's got the faintest hint of sweetness to finish it all
off with. You didn't if one if whoever
looks over y'all are just going to see Sera's face style flush

(01:42:13):
as he takes the smallest bites out of this.
Kind of reminds you of a combination of a a cucumber and
a carrot. But Sera's just taking small
bites out of it, your face off flush, just sitting there,

(01:42:33):
smiling pet Noira with his otherhand, just having the time of
his life. Girl girl sticks his head back
out from the back and he just says, it's taking a little bit
longer than I like to get the hold of these maps.
You guys might need to spend theevening here.
That's not a deal breaker, he looks.

(01:42:54):
Back. Between you all.
At the same the caption. Well, I tell you what I will.
You keep talking about this, Captain.
I'll try to get my guy on. It sounds like when I started
talking to him, he he might be able to find something out about
them, but I could press him for that and maybe get you right

(01:43:15):
there next to them. Just have to wait a little bit
longer like I said. Inside check Is this man trying
to sell us out? Maybe he's going to sell us.
Hey, we sold this guy. 14 my passive is 15.

(01:43:44):
OK, good to know. I was just going to ask that
too. I scream.
Captain. My passive is 18.
Oh, good to know. So you're just still trying to
finish off the one pickled vegetable that is in front of

(01:44:06):
him? You have to put the whole thing
in your mouth. You're like 5% sure he's telling
the truth, but it's more so because of the situation than
anything else. You guys found yourself in a

(01:44:27):
very, you know, grungy looking bar with a guy that's promising
you the world basically, and they claim to be the thieves
guilt. So you're not sure if that's
just because he he seems stand up.
I mean, he's not he's been straight shooting with you since
the beginning when it comes to like the way he handles himself,

(01:44:48):
but you're just real leery. Like there's there's you guys
didn't cast anything magical or nothing like divination wise.
But that's just your gut feelingat this point.
You're like, you could be telling the truth, but I don't
know, Seems less likely. Not that he's lying.

(01:45:12):
Well. Just because you know safe money
is in a thieves Guild, that everybody.
'S lying about everything. Well, no.
What do we do? And.
Then you. Just see heroes start to head
over to Alfred. While he's standing there and

(01:45:32):
he's like, wait a second, we've got the best.
Information source that we could.
Hear, do you mind if I just takehim in the back and squeeze him?
For the details. Do I want to watch?
Me too. Is that your only request I
guess? No, I want to be able to hear

(01:45:53):
what he says so that I know thatyou don't lie to us.
OK. For incentive, would that clear
his debt? And he starts to look up and
then Alfred starts to get like real sweaty and he stops tearing
up and he's just looks up and he's.
Like, I'll tell you whatever youwant, you don't have to do
anything. No. s s looks over at him, then

(01:46:15):
looks at the bartender. No, I want to.
I want to see. I'll beat him.
I want to see you. Would you say Grand Am?
Grand Am puts away the metal chastity cage.
He had to cast heat Metal. I.
Mean with a disappointed look onhis face.
It's been my experience that when motivated by fear, people

(01:46:37):
will say whatever you think thatthey whatever they think you
want to hear. Right.
We could instead. Motivate him.
Positively, with a forgiveness of his debts.
You know what are you talking about, Bart?
Bart's debts. Yeah.
I can make those disappear to. For and Alfred kind of perks.

(01:47:00):
Up. And he's like, Oh, well, yeah, I
would, I would gladly tell you whatever you would like to know
that I might be able to help with.
Or, you know, we could take the more interesting route and the
bartender could hand me an emptybottle and let me crack it over
his head again. That's much less useful.

(01:47:24):
Zero just looks over at you and just kind of leers at you very
like disappointedly and shakes his head before going back to
pet no Royal and just leaning back in his chair with his eyes
closed. I feel you.
Accuracy over entertainment. Thank you.
Roll me and Dexterity saving throw who with disadvantage who?

(01:47:51):
0A Dexterity saving. OK.
We have to save the captain a Fort.
You're leaning back on the chairand the leg breaks and you fall

(01:48:16):
flat on the floor, dazed. First off and secondly, you hit
your head on the fall, taking three damage.
He's just gonna lay on the floorand smile.
He's not even gonna try to get up.
He's just having the time of hislife.

(01:48:38):
Just on the floor, alright. I'm gonna go back over to the
other crew if there was, if we wanna.
I mean, we lost the Admiral a while ago, so.
Oh, we did already. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
We lost the Admiral. Yeah, that's kind of why, like

(01:48:59):
when you said that we'd have to wait at like timed right when
she said she was jumping off, I was like.
Yeah, I was planning to try and loop them back into the story
here, but I guess that's probable to.
It's mainly just going to be really them still stuck there,

(01:49:25):
some more people getting sentenced to different crimes,
various crimes, and either, you know, indentured or turned into
silk coins. And then it was going to be, oh,

(01:49:49):
that's what it was. That's what I was going to have
happen. That would have been useful for
the captain to be there, but we'll say just as she was, as
the Admiral was ducking out of poofing out of existence, the
artist that been holding the painting comes over to both you
and her, them and KIRO and introduce and Mimae introduces

(01:50:13):
popped art as well, having seen them and run into him a couple
times. One in Socrates courts, one out
in. The red dragon during his

(01:50:34):
shenanigans he joined in with the orgy and shandar and pop
dart. They were they were good friends
and way back when, at the first time they were going to the
fissure, before they the rim rollers went in, Mimi would have

(01:50:58):
explained that popped art they'dfound in the woods in the
spiralwood forest, performing rituals to transcend reality.
It seemed like because he was going to different planes of
existence during Eurythmic veracity as well similar to them
and had was explaining how he hehe dubbed himself to popped art

(01:51:21):
because there was 1 existence hewas very fond of where he was
something called a toaster and would just toast things and his
favorite. Sounds like a chili.
Was a popped chart and then he became an artist so he took him

(01:51:52):
back to their his like Hut 1st in meeting and showed they
greeted his husband Moloch and he pop dart would explain they
have taken Moloch from him when they took over the spiral wood
forest and turned him into a soul coin that he found out and

(01:52:12):
has been trying to track him track him down and earn back
that soul coin for hit with his works of art.
And he apologizes profusely, as one of those works of art is
that of a Dune performing the crime of vanquishing all of the
zombies. Exhibit.

(01:52:37):
A. And that he's given the painting
to the vampires for Mohawk's coin propaganda.
And he's he's holding the coin and he's looking at it and it
just goes. But I don't really have any way
to turn him back. I my my my trust would be in the

(01:52:59):
rum rollers as you are the adventures I've seen perform the
most miracles. And I would hope that you could
bring him back for me. And he kind of since Mimi's
actually proofed out of existence.
You you would have seen some of this explanation and he hands
you the coin hero of his husband.

(01:53:20):
He's like. If you could.
And he swallows, tearing up. Find a way to bring him back to
me. I would be.
Eternally grateful, and I apologize for writing some of
the evidence in your nature against your case, but I don't
think your case is up for at least another day or so.

(01:53:42):
Back up and I can find a way to perhaps create a distraction and
or find some way that the do youend up with the keys to those
cuffs? He just kind of says, well,
looking around to make sure no one's listening.

(01:54:06):
That would be helpful, yes, but we will do our best.
I know the Admiral will do theirbest to return your significant
other to you unharmed from this form.

(01:54:34):
Well, that's good to hear. I I did.
It soothes my soul to know that he may not be lost to me
forever. But bye I will, I will let you
know and make sure to give you the signal.
He just says but while holding 2fingers up to the side of his

(01:54:54):
eye. When the distraction will be
ready and you guys can make yourattempt and he says I must be
going go can't be suspicious. And he hurries away.
He gave the SO calling to Mimi or to KIRO.

(01:55:15):
To KIRO cause Mimi's not there now.
She pooped while it was coming over to explain this.
I'm assuming KIRO also would really relay this through.
The yeah, I relay that. And then you said we're, you

(01:55:37):
know, connected right next to the ship.
So KIRO will take that particular coin and kind of lay
it against the the hull of a dune and whisper keep it safe,
keep it hidden and ask for her to take it out of his hand and

(01:55:57):
into the ship. OK.
And then a little like hole opens up on the side of the ship
right where you're pressing the coin and kind of these root
systems form behind it that pullit in deeper.
And then she's like. I just had an idea.
And then one of the the planks off the edge of the ship unfurls

(01:56:21):
and goes right in between your cuffs, picking you up off of the
chain and pulling you along the chain up to the top of her deck
so that you're sitting on top ofher deck.
Now, at least the chain to the chain that's all the way across
her deck, but you're on her deckat least.

(01:56:41):
I couldn't remember, did you give the Admiral like what these
chains are made of? She did say that she wanted to
look into that, but she tried todetect magic but she couldn't
cast it. Hey, I can cast it.

(01:57:05):
I always see magic. Welcome aboard.
Wait, what are we cast? Thank.
You and you look out of the the corridor doors I guess and see
KIRO sitting on the deck. Who?
If you're saying you always are seeing magic, if I remember

(01:57:27):
correctly, site. Yeah, I have a detect magic at
will. You use besides the kind of
greenish bluish hues coming froma dune constantly around you,
you see the chains have this purplish goldish hue coming off

(01:57:48):
of them and a when you're looking at the cuffs that are
around KIRO, it almost looks like Eternal Knight is around
his wrists. Like there is not.
Not again. You know I used this description
earlier but I'm going to do it again anyways.
Not like blackness, but that thelack the lacking of any color or

(01:58:12):
light. As a wizard, I would know how
this translates into what. Basically.
Do we know what it is? It's dark, it's void light, and

(01:58:32):
for the detect magic I have the Eldritch adapt feat which gives
you a a warlock invocation, one of which is the magic eyes.
Oh, and you're trying to understand too, Cat, I'm
guessing with that explanation Isee.

(01:58:55):
Yeah. Not quite a natural 20, but
still 31. +5. Is that what that 5 is?
No, my arcana is a + 17. Oh no, I was just seeing you
roll A5 after that. That's what I was asking about.
I don't know what that was about.
What did I roll A5 on? I must have hit something twice.
Oh OK, You would for sure know that black generally refers to

(01:59:31):
necromancy, but in this case it is not a color, so you you're
guessing it's got negative magic.
Negative magic. So this is not something I have
seen before. It's like dark matter.

(02:00:01):
Shakiro could make an attempt tobreak out of his chains.
OK, so we're just trying to get him out of these cuffs.
Yeah but we had anti magic so weneed like a thieves tools or.

(02:00:26):
Do I have these tools? Tools.
None. No tools for me.

(02:00:49):
I mean, he's good. The other guy said he was going
to get you the keys, right? Yeah.
Didn't I, as cat make a vial of liquid from that stone?
I've been studying a couple of vials I thought sounds familiar.

(02:01:13):
It does. And I'm trying to go through my
inventory and I don't think I wrote this down.
So let's say that I made these vials and left them on a dune

(02:01:36):
because I keep the stone here ona dune.
Did they remove anything from a dune?
Does not appear so they came they they did like a quick run
around actually it was like a floating eyeball situation
search so that they didn't actually have to touch the decks
of a dune. It appears because every time

(02:01:57):
somebody tried to do that, she'skind of, and it was more of just
for living entities, which they assume the ship may not be
sentient. I guess no one's tried to
communicate with the Dune, she confesses.
They just primarily looked for living entities and she hid her

(02:02:20):
her humanoid form, and Matt hid his.
So. They didn't find anything.
OK, that's good. So I'm gonna run over to my
workstation and I'm gonna sort through the desk and drawers I
have over there and try to come up with one of these vials.
And my thought process is as I'mwalking back towards them, I was

(02:02:43):
like, what if I try to pour thisthis liquid onto this manacle or
into the manacle's lock? Do I know what would happen to?
Can I even guess? Your best guess is it might

(02:03:07):
explode causing massive damage because it's kind of like trying
to think of a good explanation that would make sense in
context. Like, I guess the best, the best

(02:03:34):
explanation really, people back then would not have understood
what the any of the things that I'm thinking are would be fire
and and and I guess I don't know.
And gunpowder, the best explanation.
I was thinking of that we would understand though, yeah.

(02:03:57):
What we suspect would happen if we put dark matter and matter
together or like. So I would be like kind of
saying this thought process out loud to Matt as well, so that
I'm because like I am questioning this, like I don't

(02:04:17):
think this is a good idea, but Ican't really think of anything
else. I bet.
Yeah, that would be terrible. Oh like 2 magnets, like 2 load
stones. Like if you would take in the
opposite ends of two load stonesand try to force them together.
There we go. I got there.

(02:04:45):
Could we make it really small ifwe did a drop or I feel like
that would still be too much. Well, the little creature said
that it was going to be creatinga distraction and they would
have the keys for the chains at that point.

(02:05:09):
But you said you didn't trust him, or somebody said they
didn't trust him, or no, that was the downstairs people.
Yeah, I was going to say I thinkwe can trust Pop Tart.
He mine had technically down to 30 but I I feel like he did it
for legit reason so. We should probably check that
soul coin that he gave us and make sure that that's actually

(02:05:31):
the soul coin of the person thathe says and he's just not lying
to us. But I would say we shouldn't
worry about getting them out of the chains.
Then if they, if we think that we can trust this thing to get
us out, get them out, we should somehow prepare or figure out

(02:05:53):
how to get the items back that we need and how to escape when
the opportunity presents itself.OK, so do we know where our
stuff is? Because I could perhaps far step
to it, although I don't know if they have anything that alerts
them to magic use. I'm sure they do.

(02:06:15):
This place is lit up like a Christmas tree.
I'm pretty sure it's in that chest that the was under that
three headed dog. So do you have anything that
happens to get along with animals?

(02:06:35):
To get along with animals. Or you are a chicken, maybe you
could lure it away. I try.
I definitely could try. But I don't really have a way to
lock pick the chest. I'd have to pick up the whole

(02:06:59):
thing. I'm pretty weak.
Well, no, I'm not weak anymore. Shit.
We really need the captain or wewe need we need KIRO out of his
thing. All right, let me see what I can
actually cast. Does anybody have I've cast

(02:07:22):
something it's. Does anybody have what?
Knock. Knocked.
Anything I well here's the thing.
Your thing is made out of anti magic.

(02:07:51):
But magic had to cast it. Or that power source means we
find that power source. Right.
Well, somehow. Shut down whatever is powering
the cops. Not maybe.
Not that Matt would know that. Right.
Or the wizard, Sorry. Oh right, I forgot Matt is

(02:08:13):
acting as Matt, not as. Yeah.
OK, so we could wait on that guyto give him the key, but we kind
of need somebody else to be out because we need all of our stuff
out of that chest. Right.
We need a we we need a way to escape once this opportunity
presents itself, which hopefullythe others are working on a way

(02:08:35):
to find us and can provide that Ave. of escape.
So maybe that's what we should be doing is looking around this
area for escape routes. But let me let me I will ritual

(02:08:56):
cast. Let's see within range 30 feet.
That sucks. Probably going to where's the
option? Violence man, Sorry.

(02:09:29):
I will ritual cast augury and ask if we search for an escape
route for us and our friends when the time is right in this
room, will I find one? Essentially I'm asking is there

(02:10:08):
an escape route out of this room?
OK, that we could take fastly. And you, Yeah, I was actually
going to ask Aduna if she could see anything that looked like an
escape route for her. Oh, there's only one way in or

(02:10:29):
out. It's like, and it's behind me.
So let me go back to that map actually too, because I'm trying
to. Whenever I speak about it, it's
easier to look at it. I can also cast fun familiar and

(02:10:52):
send a little owl flying around the room looking through its
eyes. So.
Your original question was wouldyou find an exit if you looked
for one specifically or an escape route?
Yeah, something that would have worked for our ability to escape

(02:11:14):
without being caught. You would get back.
A a a wheel as you could good and.
Bad. No wheel and woe is good and
bad. Oh, wheel.
OK, Wheel is good. But, Adune points out, and it

(02:11:39):
seems like the only exit slash entrance big enough for myself
was the one that I came in from directly behind me and over.
We could get you if, if we can get our stuff back, we can put
you into the into the bottle. Up The Cave.

(02:12:02):
River, yeah. Yeah, there's we can get our
stuff, then we can we can store you.
I mean, yeah, I I just have to make friends with the.
The demon. Well, no.
Well, I was going to say that. The squid that's inside my

(02:12:25):
bottle currently, I believe, sort of.
Oh yeah, we could release the squid.
Oh yeah, just cause chaos. As as this as distraction one
goes off, they escape their bindings gets to us, we unleash

(02:12:45):
the the squid in the the holy water inside in our location
while we swap a dune into the bottle and GTFO.
Maybe. OK.

(02:13:10):
But OK, so if I send my my unfamiliar flying around the
room. Jesus.
You are sending what though I? Guess I guess I'll send a little

(02:13:34):
bit like a tiny spider I find familiar spider.
OK. Definitely some of those around.
So that I can look for eyes and look around.
I mean, you're seeing pretty much everything you'd seen it as
you kind of heard described and seen mentally depicted in your

(02:13:58):
mind from Aduna. And when you picked your head
out the door, which are is a very elaborate room with tons of
demons. And the only big opening exit
being that on the back wall, which Aduna came in from from
the South along the first floor on either side.

(02:14:22):
You you do know there are multiple doors as the spider
perches on the edge of a dunez railing on that first floor.
There are multiple doors that lead off somewhere else, one of
which is for sure the way KIRO and Mimi were brought in from.

(02:14:46):
So the jail cells. And you wonder how many other
continuing jail cells? I'm going to look for not the
doors, but like other entry points, air ducts, there's got
to be ventilation. I assume there's some sort of

(02:15:07):
like grill or something there's I assume I'm trying to get into
the the woodworks. As you're looking for just that
thing, you realize there's nothing of of that nature for
the most part in this in the vicinity.
Besides perhaps maybe there's something under the water from

(02:15:28):
the underground river that flowsup to this point to get you to
here. Or as you're looking closer at
the demon and spending some moretime investigating such the
biggest demon at the end of the hall, you realize above them at
the top tip center, 4 stories high, a large opening that lets

(02:15:51):
light in through weirdly moon shaped continuously.
And you're cautious to believe that that is a a either a portal
to above or some sort of magicalway of pulling fresh air in as

(02:16:15):
well as light besides his own fires that he stands on.
Just can't also have fun familiar.
You could be doing this with me.No, sorry, I don't Explosion
wizard. I am it's.
Mostly fire. All right, I have a.

(02:16:36):
Couple other things, but not. That much we're going to trade
resources because I've got a lot.
It sounds like I have a lot of spells you can learn, and you
have a lot of spells I can learn.
Not that I'm supposed to be playing this character, but I
send my spider up to the ceiling, climbing the walls

(02:16:59):
carefully and quietly to attemptto determine if this is a
magical portal. I'm also looking through this
thing through with my eyes. I don't know if I get detect
magic still, but if so, I'll look at it.
And then we should probably switch over again before.

(02:17:26):
Yeah, I'm just about. To do that real quick after I
look this up. Just trying to get more
information lay of the land, what are escape routes and then
hopefully the others can. Your spider gets to the top of
the ceiling crawl, crawls up a column up to the top, quite not

(02:17:50):
quite up to the top because there was a few demons that
started to kind of notice this this particular spider and lick
their lips. And then you see one as you just
get your web shot up to the top of the ceiling to try and get a
quick escape to that space. As your web shoots out to the
ceiling at with the spider, a tongue darts out from one of the

(02:18:15):
the frog demonoids to strike you, pull you into its mouth,
and you feel the spider's crushing death before your
perspective shoots. Oh, in the form cat what I know
as well as the others there may be there's definitely a route

(02:18:38):
behind us so it's guarded many doors on each side also guarded
one possible opening up top. I don't know if I got any
description with the OR detect magic looking at it.
Oh, if you're poking your head out again, You mean because the
spider? I was looking through the

(02:18:58):
spider's eyes. But the spider itself.
Is my. Ability to see.
It doesn't use my sight. I didn't think so.
Knowing where all the demons arenow watching us, I will try to
maneuver myself into a position, not poking my head out, but like

(02:19:22):
maybe looking down like one of the forward cannon barrels or
something like that. Openings stand real quiet.
Or ask. I'll just ask a dune to make a
little peep hole looking up at that hole.
OK, Yeah, the the smallest of slits, not even really like the

(02:19:45):
size of your whole eye, just thesize of your pupil starts to
form at the front 4 deck of a dune as you're looking out
across it. And you can see there are a few
magical hues around this opening, specifically that of

(02:20:06):
yellow or protection magic and agreen conjuration or behind
that. And just at the center where
just the moon itself looks to appear is got no aura.
So you presume an actual openinginto somewhere else.

(02:20:29):
Turn to Cat. All right, it's a real opening.
And KIRO, I guess because I'll have a dune translate.
There's a real opening above us,protected by at least two
different layers of magic. Conjuration and warding.
I assume it's warded up. Please tell me you have

(02:20:50):
counterspell. I don't.
All. Right.
I'm going to look around the ship to see if there's any paper
so I can make a spell scroll of counterspell so that you can
learn it. OK.

(02:21:11):
All right, I'll lead you over tomy workstation.
There's plenty of pens and paperthere.
While you guys are doing that back down below in the sewers as
Zero's head smacks against the stone and Jerrell is stating

(02:21:36):
talking to Alfred to get the information and and about his
debts. You see one of the patrons of
the establishment walk closer upto the bar to to look like
they're asking for a drink from the other bartender.

(02:21:59):
They get their drink and then they walk back towards their
seat and as Cyril is on the ground make a slicing motion.
His head comes off and she walksback to her seat, sets it down
on the table. What heroes come off what?

(02:22:22):
Yes. I'm guessing he is retiring his
character. Yep, again this.
Is his request. Wait, whoa, whoa, whoa whoa
whoa. Did Sears head just get cut?
Off solid bro and just decapitate me.
You just say you just had it roll off with a very drunken
smile on his face. Just.

(02:22:43):
Wait, who killed him? Wait, I think we need that scene
to replay again because what, you don't get throwed back?
Can you push the back? Nope, no replays.
But you do get to see visibly that the Ciro's head sits at
this table dripping blood, and the two patrons that are sitting

(02:23:05):
at this table turn to the group and say we have his head for our
bounty. Please don't interfere or we
will have to invoke the Truce ofNobunaga.
Yes, Zero owes people money so. Before, right as you said that

(02:23:25):
last sentence, my mouse was hovering over rolling
initiative. I was.
Allowed to click it. A spell right there.
Zero owes people money. So are we.
Stopping your car going into this conflict.

(02:23:47):
What did you say that where? Grand Dam is going to very
calmly walk over to where that chair broke earlier, pick up a
just a broken spar cash Chilele on it and it's go time.
What? What did you say though?
I'm in agreement. Where'd you say that?

(02:24:15):
Oh no. Meanwhile, so we're getting into
a bar fight while the others arelike I'm sure they're they're
working hard on escaping and helping us.
I'm. Sure.
They'll be all right up. Is be prepared, the rivals will

(02:24:39):
not be the only feline adjacent people anymore.
I get, you know, play, bring that character out, OK?
No, it's a whole new one. I I made one earlier.
Have you tried the tried the Species class then that I?

(02:24:59):
Yes, I love it. I love it.
I don't know if you actually hadn't actually tried making a
character with it or not yet so.I have.
I have her prepared already. Good, good, good.
All right, yeah, I figured that was a really great way to.
End it off. Suspense, just with initiative.

(02:25:22):
Cut his head off. Next time you just cut.
His head off you just. But I feel.
Like, yeah, they're just waitingto get everybody pissed off, Cut
somebody's fucking head off. Yeah, if Kyle was there, Kyle
would have immediately thrown hands.
He wouldn't have waited. He wouldn't have waited for an
explanation. Yeah, so.
He gave me permission, I don't. Know.

(02:25:44):
I get. It.
I get it, I get it. I get.
It the initial idea was for 0 todrown in the poop river and I
was like, no, he gives more likepublic execution like let's just
full on like. I was half tempted to have you
die just from flipping back overyour chair though.

(02:26:06):
I don't know what truth they're talking about.
A&B truce, Bruce. I cast Chilleli on the spruce.
Let's Go. So I I have a request that I
really like. In D&D, when something shocking
happens in reality, you would have more context clues of what
is actually happening versus just relying on someone's verbal

(02:26:29):
description. And as we saw a blade being put
to Ciro's neck and. You wouldn't.
Get we all would have reacted. Yeah, no, no, no, you wouldn't
have seen any of that because you guys were all talking Alfred
and Geralt. That was the that was the
distraction, right? He was telling you and starting
to lay out the plans of how the,you know, the PNC is laid out so

(02:26:52):
that you can get there and whereyour friends would probably be
at in the court. And and Zero had just drunkenly
tipped back over his chair, laying on the ground and did not
get back up. So you're he was.
Just kind of laughing and staring.
OK, so your herbal description wasn't what we were seeing, it
was just what was happening. What was happening exactly?

(02:27:13):
Yeah, I would have just turned around and saw zero just dead on
the ground. And that and the other two
people already back at their table.
Yeah. Yeah, so everyone is now a
target. No, I'll.
Take that off. Zero people money, so he just

(02:27:35):
didn't tell any of that. You're one of our boys.
You're one of our boys. We don't let our boys get.
Back, I'm going to give you all the warning.
The next character I plan on playing, she's just as bad, if
not worse as cereal, if not worse than 0 on like a cockiness
level. So 'cause I like yes, prepare

(02:27:57):
yourself. That sounds so good.
Yeah. Thank you so much.
Oh, and she was going to kill. These people for a boy.
I'm like swapping spots. Swapping spots.

(02:28:19):
Won't you materialize on the do days?
Yep. Some be over there with.
Actual there's your, there's your guys's in.
Just kill your characters and you can materialize on the Dune.
Nothing. Yeah, that's the new character.
Nimaway would sooner abandoned you all.
I didn't know it's. Funny.

(02:28:40):
I was just getting bored as hereI Loki like just a little.
So I was like, let's just go ahead and do it before I get too
bored and then I stop enjoying myself.
Always. You gotta give your character
something to work towards, man. You gotta.
That's how you keep it from getting bored with them.
I get bored easy and I lose attention easy so it's like it

(02:29:00):
was bound to happen. I was starting to get bored with
Cali too, but she just died out of my stupidity.
Killing her, yes. She just died because.
I had to stop. Threw her in the middle of the
danger and said fuck me to death, let's go Frolic it.

(02:29:21):
Frolic it. Good one.
Oh man, you're going to. You're going to be on the table
twice now. Yep, after no I'm going to be on
the table. Also, after you would put all of
the the. Meta, we'd kill you.
We like collect in one spot. We all kill each other over and
over again until we have like full sets of God.

(02:29:48):
What'd you get this time? It's kind of like how I used to
play the beginning of Ark Survival, the game that you
could like, die, find you, and then take your own meat.
Yeah, just. Got myself like a week's worth
of food. Yeah.
Who is that? Me.

(02:30:09):
Also, I'm like you up about my character, just very basically
she is a Bard wizard, so we'll be playing a magic user for the
first time. So once Lycus gets involved, I'm
going to be playing only Magic users I love.
Smoking. I'd go anyways.
If you as you learn how to play magic user, I find it's helpful

(02:30:32):
to make index cards with your spells on them to have them in
front of you so you're not like.Yeah, when you're sitting down
in the greeter sheet. Yeah.
OK, I got. Some make like like a little
like playing cards to flash through.
Also she is she is a home brewedrace so that me and that me and
Josh worked on so I like. Taking cardboard like card

(02:30:55):
protector sleeves and putting cards in those.
Yeah, and. Then I make a little spell.
Book out of it. You can probably buy.
D&D. Spell sets already made his
cards as well you. Can I just wasn't going.
To bring it, bring it up with his Oh.
Yeah. I don't like giving money to
Wizards of the Coast when I don't have to.
Anymore, although I bet. I love spending money, so that's

(02:31:18):
going to be. There is actually a website
called the Feeds Guild that has all of the DND spells in a magic
card form that you can then print out as APDF like 9 on a
sheet. Beautiful.
That's. What I was just going to say no
I didn't know the specific reference but if you have that
link post that. Yes, I will have to go back and

(02:31:41):
find it because I printed out a bunch of spells for Cat and Ash
for the last Halloween EurythmicVeracity and I put those in my
little scrapbooks that I have. So yeah, I will find it and send
it again in the discord. Thank you, it's interesting how
completely opposite we play wizard jazz.
Oh, I feel like mine's mine. How are you?

(02:32:03):
It's going to be like a third opposite direction.
Yeah, it is mostly fire. And because I was like, I'm a
chicken. I just want to be able to set
stuff on fire and fuck with people.
So I have like, I got mage handed just so that I can flick
people in the back of their head.
And then I have things like Shatter and Thunderstaff just so

(02:32:26):
that people could be freaked outabout a chicken making loud
noises and not understand what'sgoing on.
Yeah, I'm taking a, I'm taking anew third opposite direction,
so. What's your style?
ICE and charming people. I'm Shannon that.
The race. Mid Wizard.

(02:32:50):
Huh. I've never actually seen
somebody play an enchantment wizard.
Well, the race we came up with is based on this Korean tiger
spirit who lives in the mountains and mimics the voices
of distressed women and loved ones to lure people in and eat
them. So.
Oh good. Cool hero's going to hero's

(02:33:13):
going to have fun with. Her.
We're the good guys. Right.
Right. I laugh.
I. Mean zero and right, my new
winner very much blurring that line so.
Zero has nothing to do. OK, Zero does.
Grand AM is like, I'm going to say it.

(02:33:34):
Grand AM is a worse person than Faust is like Faust will.
Yep. Like I think we're just all bad
evil. Evil.
Campaign grand name is Grand name and our own literary
campaign, which in this last session for no reason because he

(02:33:58):
felt like it. We've got the evil campaign,
which used to be called the Goodcampaign, and we have the
morally Gray campaign, which used to be called the the Evil.
Campaign. It's all about intent.
Yeah, I mean, I got. To throw the cold.
No power thing out 'cause now I'm going to have to pop fuck.

(02:34:23):
Oh shit, your Breakers flip. Yeah, I lost powers, which is
why I went in dark for a little bit thence.
Oh. Really.
Yep. Maybe.
Good luck. Maybe it's the just the.
Breaker. No, it's.

(02:34:44):
We're in the middle of the storm.
We lost power. Oh yeah, completely.
That sucks. I'm gonna say.
I'm gonna say I just did the power.
I think I'm on like the outer edge of the storm because it's
raining, but it's like barely raining and I haven't heard
Thunder or seen lightning in a minute.
So I'm just, yeah, I just got the rain right now.

(02:35:05):
Good luck to us, I'll talk to you guys later.
Yeah, I gotta head out. He's.
Been I want to just say something real quick.
A grand and wonderful thank you for those who took the time and
