The National Association of Directors of Christian Education (NADCE) is pleased to offer this Advent podcast devotion for your encouragement as we prepare for the birth of our Savior at Christmas. We are thankful for Steven Whitney and his willingness to contribute by recording today’s devotion. Steven is the Director of Worship and Music at St. John Ministries in Battle Creek, Nebraska.
Our devotions this Advent season center around the theme A Little Child Shall Lead Us based on Isaiah 11:6: "The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them." With the Prince of Peace in charge, things will be so peaceful that even the fiercest beasts will follow the lead of a little child.
NADCE regularly offers podcasts that focus on topics in ministry as practical resources for those serving in the Lutheran church as DCEs. Our hope is that our podcasts will encourage those listening in their calling and equip and strengthen them in their ministry area.
