New Pronouns, Who Dis?
My name is Kez, and this is a podcast chronicling my journey as a queer person proud to be part of the LGBTQ community. I am a transmasculine non-binary human, and I'm medically transitioning with low dose testosterone. This is simultaneously my "coming out" to my family and friends as well as a podcast for anyone who also identifies as transgender, gender non-conforming, and gender diverse and is looking for information and connection. I'm also hoping to reach cisgendered allies looking to educate themselves about the gender spectrum. Every individual's story is unique, but I intend to share my personal story in hopes of helping others while staying sensitive to fact that everyone's experience is different and VALID!

In this episode I discuss my top surgery experience (8ish days post op at time of publishing), and it's not exactly what I thought it would be! Hear about the ups and DOWNS of my recovery (things not many people talk about), and get a little insight into a mini identity crisis that top surgery triggered for me.

This one's intense. In this episode, I take a deep dive into the science behind gender identity, including evidence about gender identity having a genetic component (meaning we weren't simply "raised wrong"!). I try to break down the obsession our society has with gender roles & rules and assert that GENDER IS A SOCIAL CONSTRUCT.
