The critics are really buzzing about this one. Candyman is a horror franchise that hooks you from the beginning and is equally concerned with providing scares as it is with having something smart and charming to say - something we've come to find is synonymous with Jordan Peele's excellent modern work. Here we pay tribute to horror icon Tony Todd and do our best to even be kind to the forgotten sequels, even if they are b(ee) movies. So what I'm trying to say is, if you don't like this one, go take a good long look in the mirror.
