that is too high for her bed, the YouTuber confess
that she wants to cry every time she walks into
her bedroom because it looks so ridiculous. Yeah, I don't
think I have ever seen a mattress that thick, all
that high. I mean, it does look comfortable, I have
to say, but it doesn't look quite right on her

current bed frame. That being said, it looked very comfortable.
I was almost a bit envious of the comfort level
of it. It looks super lux like I'm guessing it
costs an absolute bomb, But it's only comfortable if you
like a high bed. So I'm someone who prefer my
bed down a lot lower. But surely she needs a
new bedframe because it clearly doesn't fit the bed frame
like I've got. I got a new king bed in

January and it was like the best purchase of my life.
And I got a bed frame that's so low to
the ground. I just love it now. Sarah posted about
this recent purchase on her TikTok, and she explained that
she and Kurt thought that they would splash out and
get a new one now that their kids are a
bit older, because the other one had a lot of
vomit on it and milk and everything. And headed the
mattress arriving, Sarah said that she was so excited because

she loves tweaking and elevating little elements of their home,
but that excitement was very much short lived because when
she saw the mattress being set up, she said, she
felt physically ill. I really felt this to my core
because I'm someone where if I'm making a decision about
buying something for my house or really anything in general,
I go hardcore researching it, like I need to read

every review, and then I literally sit on it for
months and months and months, and my husband has to
be like, can you just make a decision, and then
when you make the wrong decision, it burns you up
so much, particularly if something so expensive like a mattress. Yeah. Well,
I mean before the mattress arrived, there were a couple
of red flags because she was recommended to purchase some
new sheet, so some deeper sheet. So I mean, you know,

maybe the writing was on the wall a little bit.
I am going to include a photo of this mattress
on our Instagram account, just to give it justice, but
to paint a picture. When Sarah was sitting on her bed,
it was giving Alice in Wonderland vibes like she looked
miniature on this bed. It almost looked like three mattresses
were stacked on top of each other. Let's throw to
some of what Sarah said about this mattress. This is

I don't know if it looks normal on the camera,

So not only is this mattress monstrously high, but it's
also apparently uncomfortable. I mean in the video, she did
point out that she didn't really spend enough time on
this mattress. She briefly sat in it, laid down on
it for a little bit, but she was too busy
chasing after a kid she couldn't really concentrate. In reality,
I've never seen such a big mattress before. Like, I
feel like the people should have warned her who sold
it to her. I think the key reason why they

picked this mattress out was because they were told that
the Crown pent House Sweet has this. Oh that was
the selling point. Yeah, you could tell. I feel like
Kurt is the one that picked this out. It was
definitely Kurt who was pushing this purchase because they've recently
stayed as a family at the Crown for Malachi's fourth birthday.
Did you know that they have a Crown shop where
you can purchase some of the furniture in the penthouse really,

so I wonder if they've purchased it from here or
through a wholesaler. I mean, I had no idea about this,
but I think you need to be in a different
tax bracket to actually do this. Like who's staying in
a hotel and me, Like, I really liked that two
thousand dollars chair, I'm gonna hop on the crown. Well,
evidently a lot of people if they've set up a shop.
I think it would happen more than you think in
terms of like maybe the pillows and the bedding and stuff.

I mean, great marketing. Yeah, what I think has happened.
As you said, Kurt really liked the mattress. And I
don't mean to generalize, but I don't think men really
care about the aesthetic of your bedroom or your mattress.
Like I mean he'd look at it and go, that
looks really comfortable, because it did. I mean, a thick
mattress would be comfortable. She's gonna have they're gonna have
to get a new bed. Yeah, there is no way
that that ginormous mattress can sit on that low thin bed. Well,

how much you reckon this cost, because I have looked
into this a lot seven thousand. You were very close.
So it turns out that an Aussie company called Comfort
Sleep they produced mattresses for the Crown, and the mattress
in question that they have in the penthouse retails for
seven thousand, six hundred dollars. Is it terrible that when
you said the crown, and even when Sarah's Day said

something about the Crown, I instantly thought of the royal family.
I was like, oh, it's a royal mattress. I think
the royals are sleeping on expensive mattress. Do you know what? Though?
As I said, I went bed shopping earlier this year
and I was like, oh yeah, my budget's around like
one thy five hundred two thousand, and they're like, oh so
from the lower end okay, And I was like, hang on,
I thought that was quite expensive. We've got mattresses over there.

We'll just them in the corner there. Well. Sarah mentioned
in this clip that the mattress was non refundable, which
I mean, is that a thing like I think you
should be able to return once you've slept on that,
and I hadn't slept on it. I reckon. It's got
something to do with how difficult it would be to
install that mattress and get into the houstom, because she

said that when the workmen brought it in and they
were unfolding it, it sounded like there was some kind
of person specifically from the mattress company they're talking them
through it. So I think this is not a mattress
that you're like, oh, actually, i'd like to return it.

I think it's custom Well well, I mean in saying that,
maybe it's custom made to their bed shape, but not
the thing. They are changing everything in their house though.
I saw Sarah's recent vlog, which I've got to say
I love. She's getting back on the vlogging train. They
were talking about ripping their bathrooms. I'm like, oh, we're
doing a tweak. So we've decided to upgrade the basin

in our bathroom. But as we did it, we actually
chipped the marble that probably would have cost ten thousand dollars.
So now we're getting a new type of marble. And
they're doing their holiday house because a lot of people
were like, oh, why don't you just ship the mattress
off to your holiday house? Like they should but a
seven thousand dollar the mattress. No, they just had to
upgrade their bedding. Well, I mean, we have to run
through some of the comments on TikTok because they were

some pretty funny one So, at the time of recording,
the videos had one hundred and ninety one one thousand views,
and a lot of Sarah's followers agreed with her, saying
that the mattress was far too high. One wrote it's
a mattress for giants. There's no way I could get
over it, whilst another said it's giving Princess and the pea.
There were some followers who were all for the mattress,

though one wrote, no, the high mattress is lux just
get a new bed frame and bedside tables, whilst another
said it's so much better now. Low mattresses give uniflat

this donation of the seven thousand dollar mattress. She wouldn't
donate it. She puts everything on Facebook marketplace. So if

or that is being in in my opinion, misunderstood and
exaggerated peaking.

Duck singer Adam Hyde was forced to cancel the last
leg of his North America tour after it was denied
entry back into the US. A day later, his partner
Abby Chatfield issued an apology for TikTok she posted a
year ago amid speculation it was the reason he was barred. Now,
so if Adam arrived in the US at the start
of the month for a series of solo shows, that's right.

When this news first broke. There was some confusion because
people didn't realize that Adam had already performed a couple
of shows in America. It was only when he went
to perform in Toronto and then tried to re enter
America he was actually detained at the Canadian border. Now
he broke the news to fans on social media writing, Unfortunately,
I'm not going to make it to tonight's show at

Babies alright in New York City. I've spent all day
detained at the Canadian border and denied entry back into
the US, despite having the proper VISA documentation in place.
Still trying to get clarity on the situation myself now.
He finished the Instagram post by saying the decision had
left him gutted and that he hates letting people down

and really wanted to party with his fans. Adams Reps
told the media that he was not given a reason
by authorities as to why his visa was canceled. As
soon as this news broke online, people instantly started speculating
that Adam was denied entry because of anti Trump content
that Abby Chatfield, his partner, had shared online. Now, recently,

the US has dramatically escalated its border screening. They've been
targeting travelers social media and electronic devices. So back in December,
the US proposed that foreign tourists wanting to enter the
US would have to provide five years of social media
history as part of the mandatory ESTA application process. They
have really ramped up their vetting process. They're now using
(09:51):
AI technology to search for certain terms through people's text
messages or on their social media accounts, and they are
screening for any material that may suggest hostility towards the
US government or Donald Trump. I mean, let's be honest,
that's really what this is about. I mean, it doesn't
make you want to go to the US right now,
it does it. I mean it's complete censorship. It's quite
ironic for a country that's all about freedom of speech.

I mean things have gotten so bad that travelers are
being recommended to not bring their usual devices to the
US and rather bring in a Berna phone so that
it doesn't hold years of personal data. I mean that
might look a little bit sus now. A day after
Adam was turned away, Abby issued an apology on TikTok
over a video she created in July last year, which
she says has come back to haunt her.

In the video, which has been recirculating online, Abby reacted
to news that Luigi Mangioni was receiving love letters whilst
in prison. So, Luigi is the former Ivy League student
who shot and killed United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson. And
this was outside of a New York hotel. Now, following
his arrest, there were some corners of the Internet who

branded him a folk hero. Now, this was due to
the public anger at the time over high health care costs.
There were also people who thought he was hot, so
they were calling him the Hot Assassin and they were
flooding him with love letters whilst in prison. Now, snippets
of this video that Abbi created about Luigi have been
circulating on TikTok. Again, a lot of people must have

screen recorded it, because Abby actually deleted it not long
after she uploaded it. For those who haven't seen it,
Abby joked about in cells saying they should start a
revolution if they want to get pussy like Luigi. She
then said this, when are you going to do it?

Every day there's another abanin with all his in cells
that he go, that's no go. And do you know
what would actually make people respect you a little bit?
And maybe one kid is if you did it is

My god, just do it now. In the clip, Abby
held her fingers up to represent a gun. On a
number of occasions, and following this video, she was quickly
accused of calling for the assassination of President Trump. Now
Abby denied she called for the assassination of Donald Trump.
In her ten minute apology video, she said she did

not say those words, and she was making a vague
punchline with in Cells about the reaction to Luigi. Let's
take a listen to some more of what she said.

People have said that I have called for the assassination
of Trump. I do not want that to happen. I
want to be clear, I do not believe that political
assassinations are positive for anybody. In fact, when Charlie Kirk
was assassinated, I said that. The first thing I said
(12:49):
was I hated the guy because I really didn't like
his political views. And even now when I look back,
I go I shouldn't have said that I hated him.
I should have said I disagreed with his political view.
That's what I should have said, because I don't know him, right,
but I disagree with Trump's policy, his views, all of
these things. Right. But I never said his name in
(13:11):
this video. I never said it was about him. I
never called for the assassination of him. This was a
punchline that was meant to be about in cells and
the bizarre reaction to Luigi Manngioni.

Now, while Abby was adamant that she didn't call for
Trump's assassination, she apologized, saying she would hate to think
anyone was encouraged by what she said. She also admitted
that she regretted making the TikTok video. She went on
to say that it was not appropriate to make jokes
about this or to suggest people should follow in the
footsteps of Luigi. She then explained that at the time
(13:50):
she released this video, she was going through an incredibly
tough time with the media and was receiving constant death threats.
This led her to feeling like she was in a
state of pure perpetual panic, and she was trying to
have dark humor at the time. Abby also said that
since making that video, she's learnt so much about shutting
up and thinking before she speaks. I'm guessing that's also

coming off the back of her being successfully sued twice
now for defamation this year. She also said she's made
an effort in the last year not to call people
out directly, but rather talk about the topics at hand
and not the individual. Abby even when as far as saying,
looking back at her career, there's so much she would
have done differently, and this is one of those things.
I have never seen her be so reflective. Usually her
(14:34):
stance is that what she said is correct and she
fully believes in it. It's interesting that behind the scenes
for a year now, she's been reflecting on the type
of content that she's been producing and has been trying
to switch it up a bit. Instantly, people started asking
Abby if her apology came off the back of Adam
being denied entry into the US. One TikTok user asked
if this was the case, pointing out that she's had

a year to rectify the comments. Interestingly, Mitch Orville comment
under a video of Abby's apology, saying that this was
merely a visa application. Interesting that he would be weighing
in when he's got his own personal shit going on now.
Abby ended up creating a nine minute video answering this
question in depth, and she explained that she was receiving

thousands of comments about the resurface video and off the
back of it, media outlets had begun reporting it as
verbatim that she wanted Trump to be assassinated, and she
said that she wanted to set the record straight and
say that was not true. Abby also said the situation
has given her the opportunity to address her past comments,
which she says she regrets. She also admitted that she

needs to be less sarcastic and snarky and has tried
to rain herself in over the past year. Again, I
don't think I've ever seen her be this reflective. She
was also saying that she needs to speak with more
nuance and without so many absolutes. She really tried to
demonstrate how much she has changed in the past year
by revealing that she has reached out to people in

the public eye that she's previously had beef with and
they've since become friends and they're going to do a
podcast together. I wonder who this is. Why did I
immediately think Britt Hockley, Oh, that sounds so good. I
would definitely tune into that. The thing is, it's a
difficult situation because it's kind of like the chicken in
the egg because Abby's saying, oh no, this isn't in
response to Adam getting barred from the US, It's in
(16:19):
response to people commenting on that video. But it's like, well,
hasn't him being barred from the US caused people to
comment on that video again like that that's incited it.
So it really is in reaction, I suppose to it,
But it's just unfortunate because we spoke about it two
weeks ago. How the media just after Abby Chatfield, and
again this incident has just spark some disgusting headlines about her,

and I just worry about her mental health because she's
been dealing with so much backlash recently. It's a really
difficult one because Adam is trying to make a solo
career for himself in the US, so it's very important
that he can regularly travel there. So his team have
probably said, hey, could you please make sure that your
girlfriend removes her pol videos and isn't so outspoken on

political issues. But then for her, that has been the
basis of her online career for quite a number of
years now. Abby is probably looking at this though and thinking, well,
I'm getting death threats from it. It's probably not particularly
helping my career out that much because I'm being viewed
as this very outspoken person that brands might not necessarily
want to work with. So maybe I do have to
rein it in a bit, maybe I do have to

change the content that I'm putting out there, and it's
clear that this is something that she has been trying
to do for a year now. I think so much
has changed since she became famous, because if you think
about it, she was on Matt agnew series of The Bachelor.
It was twenty twenty, and she was cast as a villain,
and normally the villain wouldn't have any career off the
back of that, but it was at a time where
people were calling out misogynistic behavior and she was almost

a poster child for that type of revolution. Everyone loved her,
they loved her hot takes on things, and it was
a time when cancel culture was rife and people were
calling people out, and that's how she really built her platform.
I'm seeing people move away from that type of call
out culture, and it seems like Abbi Chatfield is now
trying to go through a rebrand and work out, well,

what is her content going to be about. I think
people forget how young Abbi Chatfield is and that she's
been in the public eye since she was twenty three.
So over that time, obviously her opinions have changed, and
you're allowed to change your opinion. What's difficult, though, is
when you share those opinions online and then feel like
you have to stand by something that you might not

agree with. Now. I get that she made these comments
a year ago. I mean, I don't think her opinion
has so much changed from a year ago. Like, I
think it's more that she realizes that she can't go
on her social media and just say whatever she wants
because she's had consequences from it. She's had two successful
defamation cases against her this year. So it's really about
her going, Okay, well, what can I say and what

do I feel comfortable talking about this? Not having this
immense backlash on her because she has spoken openly about
how it has impacted her mental health. I think people
forget though as well, Like sometimes when create just like
Abby jump online, they're sort of playing a bit of
a character, and I know it's her at the end
of the day. Yeah, but that's why she needs to rebrand. Yeah,
but that's what I'm saying, Like, when she's jumping on
having all of these out there outlandish views or you know,

strong opinions on things, she's putting on a bit of
a persona. So well, you know, behind the scenes, like
even hearing us say, oh, I regret some of the
stuff that I said, It was actually really refreshing to
hear that, because it's clearly the conversations she's probably having
behind the scenes of oh fuck, that didn't land, how
I expected it to land. That's not really how I
feel or how I act twenty four seven. She's also
playing into the algorithm as well, and you know, the

algorithm rewards hot takes and controversial opinions. Now back to
Adam's situation. On Thursday, the media reported that Adam was
barred from re entering the US due to national security concerns.
Nine ended up contacting US Customs and Border Protection, who
confirmed the news, and they provided the media outlet with
a statement that said Adam Hyde was not deported. He

was denied entry at Toronto Pearson International Airport on May seventh,
twenty twenty six, due to national security concerns. The Trump
administration is enforcing immigration laws, something the Biden administration failed
to do. All persons arriving at a port of entry
to the United States are subject to inspection on a
case by case basis. The statement finished saying a visa

is a privilege, not a riot, and only those who
respect our laws and follow the proper procedure will be welcomed.
So reading between the lines, they're basically confirming that he
was barred entry because of Abby's video because they saw
that as a national security concern. I mean, that's what
I would take from it. Sam Gugenheimer has hard launched

her new boyfriend. Earlier this month, she teased her audience
that she was dating someone, but she wasn't yet a
girlfriend at the time. The twenty four year old said
she wasn't sure if she would publicly share about the relationship. Now,
kay that all changed last week during a holiday to
the Maldives. Yes, it certainly did. I'm guessing the picture
perfect setting made it impossible not to share. And it

turns out a mix of business and pleasure for Sam's
new boyfriend. So his name is Ryan Maloney and he's
a DJ, and he's been playing at a festival in
the Mail Dives. He's giving me Bailey Smith vibes. He's
got like long blonde hair, he's very ripped, very tanned,
a good looking guy. Yeah, there is a similarity going on,
which makes things a little bit awkward. Because Bailey Smith

from a very wealthy family. So his father is pub

magnate Kim Maloney and his mum is Sydney socialite Die Maloney.
Now they got divorced around ten years ago, and since then,
Die Maloney has become renowned for hosting lavish parties at
a point Piper Mansion in particular. She's loved in the

we could try and snag an invite at some point.
And they're really next level, so they really go all
out for Halloween they transformed the tennis court into this

There was even a special tropical party for Ryan where
they shipped in three tons of sands. So CEASO Sammy

Gooks is rubbing shoulders with the elite. I mean, she's
only just moved to Sydney. I reckon her friends are
gonna love it because apparently at these parties there's a
lot of free flowing champagne, there's caviar stands, there's light shows,
smoke machines. I mean, you know, she's making ex best
friends left front center, but I think she'll be making
a whole lot of new friends through these cool parties.
Oh definitely. And center stage at the parties is Ryan

because of course he's a DJ, and thanks to his mum,
he's had a lot of experience because he DJ's at
her venue, the Plaza Hotel. He also hosts sponsored parties
at his mum's twenty nine point two million dollar oceanfront property.
Excuse me, twenty nine million watching lux listings, that's the
caliber of house on there, Like that's even quite expensive

for some of the lux listing houses. Yeah. Well, Die
actually made headlines when she purchased this property in Tamarama
in twenty twenty two. So it was a block of
five apartments which she has since developed into luxury apartments
for her children. And Ryan's a really lucky boy. I
can see why Sam is keen on him. He also
drives a black Lamborghini that presumably his parents bought him. Oh,

come on, he might have bought it. He might have
done a few jobs around the house, taking the minout
or something like that. A sticker system. He knows his
mum might pay him a lot for djaing at the
Plaza hotel. I'm wondering if Sam and Ryan met through
Ryan's sister, because she's an influencer herself. She has around
seventy thousand followers across her social media platforms, and she
shares kind of that rich girl content. So she posts

about traveling first class around the world, and she also
shares fashion content like she fits their friendship description, doesn't she?
Oh that controversial one where it was like, oh, Sam
would only allow this person. I mean, I feel like
this girl would be working at Cooker. Well, she wouldn't
be working with him. I'm a dad a worth billy type.
You know, she might pop in and work there for
a couple of shifts, just to you know. I mean,

judging by her parents' property portfolio, I think Sammy Googs
would be the one trying to move in with them.
This is clearly why she's moved from Melbourne to Sydney.
She clearly was chatting to him online and wanted to
make this thing a possibility. Well, it seems like things
are quite serious between them because someone wrote on her
TikTok thought she was never going to post her relationship online,
and then she said, when you love someone, you want

to be proud of them. Of course she wants to
post about him. It's good content. She has had a
couple of months where the internet has not loved her.
Everyone loves a hot couple and a new romance, like
people would be tuning in in their droves well, particularly
when they're going on lavish trips to the male dives.
And she's probably going to post about driving around in
his black Lamborghini. I'm not sure how much longer he
will have access to it. Because while Ryan has been

djaying in the maldives it seems like his mum is
having quite a tough time, so at the moment, there's
renewed public interest in her party she's been holding after
reports emerged earlier this month that she is embroiled in
major financial and legal disputes tied to her property and
hotel ventures. So creditors and receivers claim she owes sums

in the tens of millions linked to unpaid loans, renovation
and legal costs associated with the Plaza hotel project. Now
Dia Maloney strongly disputes many of these allegations and says
some of the debts being pursued against her are exaggerated
or invalid and off the back of the news, The
Sydney Morning Herald asks Die about these lavish parties she holds,

mean I'm hosting the party. Now, she had a bit

are all about building a brand as a top part
venue at the point Piper House and leveraging off that

You think I was going to get it from being
the Star Bar. She's also publicly credited Ryan for designing
the Plaza Hotels, nightclub and djspace, as well as her

if one of those influences with Sammy Guggenheimer. I'm guessing

sam was invited to one of these events and that's
how she's met this family. I'm wondering if she is oblivious, though,
to the drama that's going on within Ryan's family, because
she posted some vision of their Maldives trip with the
caption I'm not here to engage with gossip. I'm happy
here enjoying a drama free life that I choose for myself.
I don't think that's in reference to his family at all.

I think that's in reference to all of the friendship
bust up she's having. Oh I agree. I think it
was actually directed at her most recent ex best friend,
Bill Barker, because someone commented on one of Sam's many
mal dives TikTok, Where's Bill to which she replied at home,
and then Bill posted a video with the caption not
home actually just working kiss. But what I'm more trying

to say is she's in this love bubble at the moment,
and you know, everything's going great because she's dating a
multimillionaire son. But I wonder if she's oblivious to the
issues that are going on behind the scenes. I mean,
I feel like she sort of lives for the drama,
so she probably doesn't really mind. She's saying he that
she's not about the drama, but she clearly is about
the drama. And I think that she is potentially entering

into a family that's got an interesting background, Like I
don't think they'd be boring sitting around the family table
at dinner time. The thing is, if these rumors around
Die Maloney's financial situation are true, and you know she's
not as rich as people think, his dad's still rich, like,

of regret is unfathomable. After purchasing a non refundable mattress
that is too high for her bed, the YouTuber confess
that she wants to cry every time she walks into
her bedroom because it looks so ridiculous. Yeah, I don't
think I have ever seen a mattress that thick, all
that high. I mean, it does look comfortable, I have
to say, but it doesn't look quite right on her

current bed frame. That being said, it looked very comfortable.
I was almost a bit envious of the comfort level
of it. It looks super lux like I'm guessing it
costs an absolute bomb, But it's only comfortable if you
like a high bed. So I'm someone who prefer my
bed down a lot lower. But surely she needs a
new bedframe because it clearly doesn't fit the bed frame
like I've got. I got a new king bed in

January and it was like the best purchase of my life.
And I got a bed frame that's so low to
the ground. I just love it now. Sarah posted about
this recent purchase on her TikTok, and she explained that
she and Kurt thought that they would splash out and
get a new one now that their kids are a
bit older, because the other one had a lot of
vomit on it and milk and everything. And headed the
mattress arriving, Sarah said that she was so excited because

she loves tweaking and elevating little elements of their home,
but that excitement was very much short lived because when
she saw the mattress being set up, she said, she
felt physically ill. I really felt this to my core
because I'm someone where if I'm making a decision about
buying something for my house or really anything in general,
I go hardcore researching it, like I need to read
(01:53):
every review, and then I literally sit on it for
months and months and months, and my husband has to
be like, can you just make a decision, and then
when you make the wrong decision, it burns you up
so much, particularly if something so expensive like a mattress. Yeah. Well,
I mean before the mattress arrived, there were a couple
of red flags because she was recommended to purchase some
new sheet, so some deeper sheet. So I mean, you know,

maybe the writing was on the wall a little bit.
I am going to include a photo of this mattress
on our Instagram account, just to give it justice, but
to paint a picture. When Sarah was sitting on her bed,
it was giving Alice in Wonderland vibes like she looked
miniature on this bed. It almost looked like three mattresses
were stacked on top of each other. Let's throw to
some of what Sarah said about this mattress. This is

I don't know if it looks normal on the camera,

So not only is this mattress monstrously high, but it's
also apparently uncomfortable. I mean in the video, she did
point out that she didn't really spend enough time on
this mattress. She briefly sat in it, laid down on
it for a little bit, but she was too busy
chasing after a kid she couldn't really concentrate. In reality,
I've never seen such a big mattress before. Like, I
feel like the people should have warned her who sold
it to her. I think the key reason why they

picked this mattress out was because they were told that
the Crown pent House Sweet has this. Oh that was
the selling point. Yeah, you could tell. I feel like
Kurt is the one that picked this out. It was
definitely Kurt who was pushing this purchase because they've recently
stayed as a family at the Crown for Malachi's fourth birthday.
Did you know that they have a Crown shop where
you can purchase some of the furniture in the penthouse really,

so I wonder if they've purchased it from here or
through a wholesaler. I mean, I had no idea about this,
but I think you need to be in a different
tax bracket to actually do this. Like who's staying in
a hotel and me, Like, I really liked that two
thousand dollars chair, I'm gonna hop on the crown. Well,
evidently a lot of people if they've set up a shop.
I think it would happen more than you think in
terms of like maybe the pillows and the bedding and stuff.

I mean, great marketing. Yeah, what I think has happened.
As you said, Kurt really liked the mattress. And I
don't mean to generalize, but I don't think men really
care about the aesthetic of your bedroom or your mattress.
Like I mean he'd look at it and go, that
looks really comfortable, because it did. I mean, a thick
mattress would be comfortable. She's gonna have they're gonna have
to get a new bed. Yeah, there is no way
that that ginormous mattress can sit on that low thin bed. Well,

how much you reckon this cost, because I have looked
into this a lot seven thousand. You were very close.
So it turns out that an Aussie company called Comfort
Sleep they produced mattresses for the Crown, and the mattress
in question that they have in the penthouse retails for
seven thousand, six hundred dollars. Is it terrible that when
you said the crown, and even when Sarah's Day said

something about the Crown, I instantly thought of the royal family.
I was like, oh, it's a royal mattress. I think
the royals are sleeping on expensive mattress. Do you know what? Though?
As I said, I went bed shopping earlier this year
and I was like, oh yeah, my budget's around like
one thy five hundred two thousand, and they're like, oh so
from the lower end okay, And I was like, hang on,
I thought that was quite expensive. We've got mattresses over there.

We'll just them in the corner there. Well. Sarah mentioned
in this clip that the mattress was non refundable, which
I mean, is that a thing like I think you
should be able to return once you've slept on that,
and I hadn't slept on it. I reckon. It's got
something to do with how difficult it would be to
install that mattress and get into the houstom, because she

said that when the workmen brought it in and they
were unfolding it, it sounded like there was some kind
of person specifically from the mattress company they're talking them
through it. So I think this is not a mattress
that you're like, oh, actually, i'd like to return it.

I think it's custom Well well, I mean in saying that,
maybe it's custom made to their bed shape, but not
the thing. They are changing everything in their house though.
I saw Sarah's recent vlog, which I've got to say
I love. She's getting back on the vlogging train. They
were talking about ripping their bathrooms. I'm like, oh, we're
doing a tweak. So we've decided to upgrade the basin
(06:39):
in our bathroom. But as we did it, we actually
chipped the marble that probably would have cost ten thousand dollars.
So now we're getting a new type of marble. And
they're doing their holiday house because a lot of people
were like, oh, why don't you just ship the mattress
off to your holiday house? Like they should but a
seven thousand dollar the mattress. No, they just had to
upgrade their bedding. Well, I mean, we have to run
through some of the comments on TikTok because they were
(06:59):
some pretty funny one So, at the time of recording,
the videos had one hundred and ninety one one thousand views,
and a lot of Sarah's followers agreed with her, saying
that the mattress was far too high. One wrote it's
a mattress for giants. There's no way I could get
over it, whilst another said it's giving Princess and the pea.
There were some followers who were all for the mattress,

though one wrote, no, the high mattress is lux just
get a new bed frame and bedside tables, whilst another
said it's so much better now. Low mattresses give uniflat
Ikia Vibes can imagine the Cronulla charity shop just getting
this donation of the seven thousand dollar mattress. She wouldn't
donate it. She puts everything on Facebook marketplace. So if
you're in the market for a new mattress and you

live in that area, I'd keep an eye out. Becau
could have spared seven thousand. Just let's be honest. She'd
probably promote the fact that she was selling it on

and talk to you about a video that is recirculating
or that is being in in my opinion, misunderstood and
exaggerated peaking.

Duck singer Adam Hyde was forced to cancel the last
leg of his North America tour after it was denied
entry back into the US. A day later, his partner
Abby Chatfield issued an apology for TikTok she posted a
year ago amid speculation it was the reason he was barred. Now,
so if Adam arrived in the US at the start
of the month for a series of solo shows, that's right.
(08:26):
When this news first broke. There was some confusion because
people didn't realize that Adam had already performed a couple
of shows in America. It was only when he went
to perform in Toronto and then tried to re enter
America he was actually detained at the Canadian border. Now
he broke the news to fans on social media writing, Unfortunately,
I'm not going to make it to tonight's show at
(08:48):
Babies alright in New York City. I've spent all day
detained at the Canadian border and denied entry back into
the US, despite having the proper VISA documentation in place.
Still trying to get clarity on the situation myself now.
He finished the Instagram post by saying the decision had
left him gutted and that he hates letting people down
(09:09):
and really wanted to party with his fans. Adams Reps
told the media that he was not given a reason
by authorities as to why his visa was canceled. As
soon as this news broke online, people instantly started speculating
that Adam was denied entry because of anti Trump content
that Abby Chatfield, his partner, had shared online. Now, recently,
(09:29):
the US has dramatically escalated its border screening. They've been
targeting travelers social media and electronic devices. So back in December,
the US proposed that foreign tourists wanting to enter the
US would have to provide five years of social media
history as part of the mandatory ESTA application process. They
have really ramped up their vetting process. They're now using
(09:51):
AI technology to search for certain terms through people's text
messages or on their social media accounts, and they are
screening for any material that may suggest hostility towards the
US government or Donald Trump. I mean, let's be honest,
that's really what this is about. I mean, it doesn't
make you want to go to the US right now,
it does it. I mean it's complete censorship. It's quite
ironic for a country that's all about freedom of speech.

I mean things have gotten so bad that travelers are
being recommended to not bring their usual devices to the
US and rather bring in a Berna phone so that
it doesn't hold years of personal data. I mean that
might look a little bit sus now. A day after
Adam was turned away, Abby issued an apology on TikTok
over a video she created in July last year, which
she says has come back to haunt her.

In the video, which has been recirculating online, Abby reacted
to news that Luigi Mangioni was receiving love letters whilst
in prison. So, Luigi is the former Ivy League student
who shot and killed United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson. And
this was outside of a New York hotel. Now, following
his arrest, there were some corners of the Internet who
(10:56):
branded him a folk hero. Now, this was due to
the public anger at the time over high health care costs.
There were also people who thought he was hot, so
they were calling him the Hot Assassin and they were
flooding him with love letters whilst in prison. Now, snippets
of this video that Abbi created about Luigi have been
circulating on TikTok. Again, a lot of people must have
(11:18):
screen recorded it, because Abby actually deleted it not long
after she uploaded it. For those who haven't seen it,
Abby joked about in cells saying they should start a
revolution if they want to get pussy like Luigi. She
then said this, when are you going to do it?

Every day there's another abanin with all his in cells
that he go, that's no go. And do you know
what would actually make people respect you a little bit?
And maybe one kid is if you did it is
if you did it, you get heaps of fan now,
oh my god, oh.

My god, just do it now. In the clip, Abby
held her fingers up to represent a gun. On a
number of occasions, and following this video, she was quickly
accused of calling for the assassination of President Trump. Now
Abby denied she called for the assassination of Donald Trump.
In her ten minute apology video, she said she did
(12:21):
not say those words, and she was making a vague
punchline with in Cells about the reaction to Luigi. Let's
take a listen to some more of what she said.
Speaker 2 (12:28):
People have said that I have called for the assassination
of Trump. I do not want that to happen. I
want to be clear, I do not believe that political
assassinations are positive for anybody. In fact, when Charlie Kirk
was assassinated, I said that. The first thing I said
(12:49):
was I hated the guy because I really didn't like
his political views. And even now when I look back,
I go I shouldn't have said that I hated him.
I should have said I disagreed with his political view.
That's what I should have said, because I don't know him, right,
but I disagree with Trump's policy, his views, all of
these things. Right. But I never said his name in
(13:11):
this video. I never said it was about him. I
never called for the assassination of him. This was a
punchline that was meant to be about in cells and
the bizarre reaction to Luigi Manngioni.
Speaker 1 (13:28):
Now, while Abby was adamant that she didn't call for
Trump's assassination, she apologized, saying she would hate to think
anyone was encouraged by what she said. She also admitted
that she regretted making the TikTok video. She went on
to say that it was not appropriate to make jokes
about this or to suggest people should follow in the
footsteps of Luigi. She then explained that at the time
(13:50):
she released this video, she was going through an incredibly
tough time with the media and was receiving constant death threats.
This led her to feeling like she was in a
state of pure perpetual panic, and she was trying to
have dark humor at the time. Abby also said that
since making that video, she's learnt so much about shutting
up and thinking before she speaks. I'm guessing that's also
(14:11):
coming off the back of her being successfully sued twice
now for defamation this year. She also said she's made
an effort in the last year not to call people
out directly, but rather talk about the topics at hand
and not the individual. Abby even when as far as saying,
looking back at her career, there's so much she would
have done differently, and this is one of those things.
I have never seen her be so reflective. Usually her
(14:34):
stance is that what she said is correct and she
fully believes in it. It's interesting that behind the scenes
for a year now, she's been reflecting on the type
of content that she's been producing and has been trying
to switch it up a bit. Instantly, people started asking
Abby if her apology came off the back of Adam
being denied entry into the US. One TikTok user asked
if this was the case, pointing out that she's had
(14:55):
a year to rectify the comments. Interestingly, Mitch Orville comment
under a video of Abby's apology, saying that this was
merely a visa application. Interesting that he would be weighing
in when he's got his own personal shit going on now.
Abby ended up creating a nine minute video answering this
question in depth, and she explained that she was receiving
(15:16):
thousands of comments about the resurface video and off the
back of it, media outlets had begun reporting it as
verbatim that she wanted Trump to be assassinated, and she
said that she wanted to set the record straight and
say that was not true. Abby also said the situation
has given her the opportunity to address her past comments,
which she says she regrets. She also admitted that she
(15:37):
needs to be less sarcastic and snarky and has tried
to rain herself in over the past year. Again, I
don't think I've ever seen her be this reflective. She
was also saying that she needs to speak with more
nuance and without so many absolutes. She really tried to
demonstrate how much she has changed in the past year
by revealing that she has reached out to people in
(15:57):
the public eye that she's previously had beef with and
they've since become friends and they're going to do a
podcast together. I wonder who this is. Why did I
immediately think Britt Hockley, Oh, that sounds so good. I
would definitely tune into that. The thing is, it's a
difficult situation because it's kind of like the chicken in
the egg because Abby's saying, oh no, this isn't in
response to Adam getting barred from the US, It's in
(16:19):
response to people commenting on that video. But it's like, well,
hasn't him being barred from the US caused people to
comment on that video again like that that's incited it.
So it really is in reaction, I suppose to it,
But it's just unfortunate because we spoke about it two
weeks ago. How the media just after Abby Chatfield, and
again this incident has just spark some disgusting headlines about her,

and I just worry about her mental health because she's
been dealing with so much backlash recently. It's a really
difficult one because Adam is trying to make a solo
career for himself in the US, so it's very important
that he can regularly travel there. So his team have
probably said, hey, could you please make sure that your
girlfriend removes her pol videos and isn't so outspoken on
(17:02):
political issues. But then for her, that has been the
basis of her online career for quite a number of
years now. Abby is probably looking at this though and thinking, well,
I'm getting death threats from it. It's probably not particularly
helping my career out that much because I'm being viewed
as this very outspoken person that brands might not necessarily
want to work with. So maybe I do have to
rein it in a bit, maybe I do have to
(17:22):
change the content that I'm putting out there, and it's
clear that this is something that she has been trying
to do for a year now. I think so much
has changed since she became famous, because if you think
about it, she was on Matt agnew series of The Bachelor.
It was twenty twenty, and she was cast as a villain,
and normally the villain wouldn't have any career off the
back of that, but it was at a time where
people were calling out misogynistic behavior and she was almost
(17:46):
a poster child for that type of revolution. Everyone loved her,
they loved her hot takes on things, and it was
a time when cancel culture was rife and people were
calling people out, and that's how she really built her platform.
I'm seeing people move away from that type of call
out culture, and it seems like Abbi Chatfield is now
trying to go through a rebrand and work out, well,
(18:07):
what is her content going to be about. I think
people forget how young Abbi Chatfield is and that she's
been in the public eye since she was twenty three.
So over that time, obviously her opinions have changed, and
you're allowed to change your opinion. What's difficult, though, is
when you share those opinions online and then feel like
you have to stand by something that you might not
(18:27):
agree with. Now. I get that she made these comments
a year ago. I mean, I don't think her opinion
has so much changed from a year ago. Like, I
think it's more that she realizes that she can't go
on her social media and just say whatever she wants
because she's had consequences from it. She's had two successful
defamation cases against her this year. So it's really about
her going, Okay, well, what can I say and what
(18:48):
do I feel comfortable talking about this? Not having this
immense backlash on her because she has spoken openly about
how it has impacted her mental health. I think people
forget though as well, Like sometimes when create just like
Abby jump online, they're sort of playing a bit of
a character, and I know it's her at the end
of the day. Yeah, but that's why she needs to rebrand. Yeah,
but that's what I'm saying, Like, when she's jumping on
having all of these out there outlandish views or you know,
(19:11):
strong opinions on things, she's putting on a bit of
a persona. So well, you know, behind the scenes, like
even hearing us say, oh, I regret some of the
stuff that I said, It was actually really refreshing to
hear that, because it's clearly the conversations she's probably having
behind the scenes of oh fuck, that didn't land, how
I expected it to land. That's not really how I
feel or how I act twenty four seven. She's also
playing into the algorithm as well, and you know, the
(19:32):
algorithm rewards hot takes and controversial opinions. Now back to
Adam's situation. On Thursday, the media reported that Adam was
barred from re entering the US due to national security concerns.
Nine ended up contacting US Customs and Border Protection, who
confirmed the news, and they provided the media outlet with
a statement that said Adam Hyde was not deported. He
(19:55):
was denied entry at Toronto Pearson International Airport on May seventh,
twenty twenty six, due to national security concerns. The Trump
administration is enforcing immigration laws, something the Biden administration failed
to do. All persons arriving at a port of entry
to the United States are subject to inspection on a
case by case basis. The statement finished saying a visa
(20:16):
is a privilege, not a riot, and only those who
respect our laws and follow the proper procedure will be welcomed.
So reading between the lines, they're basically confirming that he
was barred entry because of Abby's video because they saw
that as a national security concern. I mean, that's what
I would take from it. Sam Gugenheimer has hard launched
(20:36):
her new boyfriend. Earlier this month, she teased her audience
that she was dating someone, but she wasn't yet a
girlfriend at the time. The twenty four year old said
she wasn't sure if she would publicly share about the relationship. Now,
kay that all changed last week during a holiday to
the Maldives. Yes, it certainly did. I'm guessing the picture
perfect setting made it impossible not to share. And it

turns out a mix of business and pleasure for Sam's
new boyfriend. So his name is Ryan Maloney and he's
a DJ, and he's been playing at a festival in
the Mail Dives. He's giving me Bailey Smith vibes. He's
got like long blonde hair, he's very ripped, very tanned,
a good looking guy. Yeah, there is a similarity going on,
which makes things a little bit awkward. Because Bailey Smith

so one of that if she's like, what the hell I.

I thought Sammy Guggenheimer and Bailey Smith might get together,
So maybe I misviewed this and I crystal ball. Now
Ryan's got around seven thousand followers on social media, so
not a massive deal online. But I have done some
digging Sophie for the listeners. It turns out it comes
from a very wealthy family. So his father is pub

magnate Kim Maloney and his mum is Sydney socialite Die Maloney.
Now they got divorced around ten years ago, and since then,
Die Maloney has become renowned for hosting lavish parties at
a point Piper Mansion in particular. She's loved in the
East for her epic New Year's Eve parties. Where do
we get an invite? Well, apparently it's the norm for

eight hundred guests to rock up to this, so maybe
we could try and snag an invite at some point.
And they're really next level, so they really go all
out for Halloween they transformed the tennis court into this
cemetery with tombstones. Another time they had a pool party
and they decked out the court with cabanas and paddle pools.
There was even a special tropical party for Ryan where
they shipped in three tons of sands. So CEASO Sammy

Gooks is rubbing shoulders with the elite. I mean, she's
only just moved to Sydney. I reckon her friends are
gonna love it because apparently at these parties there's a
lot of free flowing champagne, there's caviar stands, there's light shows,
smoke machines. I mean, you know, she's making ex best
friends left front center, but I think she'll be making
a whole lot of new friends through these cool parties.
Oh definitely. And center stage at the parties is Ryan

because of course he's a DJ, and thanks to his mum,
he's had a lot of experience because he DJ's at
her venue, the Plaza Hotel. He also hosts sponsored parties
at his mum's twenty nine point two million dollar oceanfront property.
Excuse me, twenty nine million watching lux listings, that's the
caliber of house on there, Like that's even quite expensive

for some of the lux listing houses. Yeah. Well, Die
actually made headlines when she purchased this property in Tamarama
in twenty twenty two. So it was a block of
five apartments which she has since developed into luxury apartments
for her children. And Ryan's a really lucky boy. I
can see why Sam is keen on him. He also
drives a black Lamborghini that presumably his parents bought him. Oh,

come on, he might have bought it. He might have
done a few jobs around the house, taking the minout
or something like that. A sticker system. He knows his
mum might pay him a lot for djaing at the
Plaza hotel. I'm wondering if Sam and Ryan met through
Ryan's sister, because she's an influencer herself. She has around
seventy thousand followers across her social media platforms, and she
shares kind of that rich girl content. So she posts
(23:55):
about traveling first class around the world, and she also
shares fashion content like she fits their friendship description, doesn't she?
Oh that controversial one where it was like, oh, Sam
would only allow this person. I mean, I feel like
this girl would be working at Cooker. Well, she wouldn't
be working with him. I'm a dad a worth billy type.
You know, she might pop in and work there for
a couple of shifts, just to you know. I mean,
(24:17):
judging by her parents' property portfolio, I think Sammy Googs
would be the one trying to move in with them.
This is clearly why she's moved from Melbourne to Sydney.
She clearly was chatting to him online and wanted to
make this thing a possibility. Well, it seems like things
are quite serious between them because someone wrote on her
TikTok thought she was never going to post her relationship online,
and then she said, when you love someone, you want
(24:39):
to be proud of them. Of course she wants to
post about him. It's good content. She has had a
couple of months where the internet has not loved her.
Everyone loves a hot couple and a new romance, like
people would be tuning in in their droves well, particularly
when they're going on lavish trips to the male dives.
And she's probably going to post about driving around in
his black Lamborghini. I'm not sure how much longer he
will have access to it. Because while Ryan has been
(25:03):
djaying in the maldives it seems like his mum is
having quite a tough time, so at the moment, there's
renewed public interest in her party she's been holding after
reports emerged earlier this month that she is embroiled in
major financial and legal disputes tied to her property and
hotel ventures. So creditors and receivers claim she owes sums
(25:24):
in the tens of millions linked to unpaid loans, renovation
and legal costs associated with the Plaza hotel project. Now
Dia Maloney strongly disputes many of these allegations and says
some of the debts being pursued against her are exaggerated
or invalid and off the back of the news, The
Sydney Morning Herald asks Die about these lavish parties she holds,

and she replied they're usually for my kids. I often
don't even go. Just because they're in my house doesn't
mean I'm hosting the party. Now, she had a bit
of a backflip days later, and she said the parties
are all about building a brand as a top part
venue at the point Piper House and leveraging off that
to create the same sort of brand for the Plaza hotel.

She said it was because I had the name of
having glamorous events that the pub got any traction whatsoever.
You think I was going to get it from being
the Star Bar. She's also publicly credited Ryan for designing
the Plaza Hotels, nightclub and djspace, as well as her
daughter Sarah for introducing influences to the venue. I wonder
if one of those influences with Sammy Guggenheimer. I'm guessing
(26:28):
sam was invited to one of these events and that's
how she's met this family. I'm wondering if she is oblivious, though,
to the drama that's going on within Ryan's family, because
she posted some vision of their Maldives trip with the
caption I'm not here to engage with gossip. I'm happy
here enjoying a drama free life that I choose for myself.
I don't think that's in reference to his family at all.
(26:48):
I think that's in reference to all of the friendship
bust up she's having. Oh I agree. I think it
was actually directed at her most recent ex best friend,
Bill Barker, because someone commented on one of Sam's many
mal dives TikTok, Where's Bill to which she replied at home,
and then Bill posted a video with the caption not
home actually just working kiss. But what I'm more trying
(27:11):
to say is she's in this love bubble at the moment,
and you know, everything's going great because she's dating a
multimillionaire son. But I wonder if she's oblivious to the
issues that are going on behind the scenes. I mean,
I feel like she sort of lives for the drama,
so she probably doesn't really mind. She's saying he that
she's not about the drama, but she clearly is about
the drama. And I think that she is potentially entering
(27:34):
into a family that's got an interesting background, Like I
don't think they'd be boring sitting around the family table
at dinner time. The thing is, if these rumors around
Die Maloney's financial situation are true, and you know she's
not as rich as people think, his dad's still rich, like,
I don't think he's going to have many issues. Thank
God the father's rich. That that solves all the problems.
