Speaker 1 (00:03):
Hello, and welcome to Outspoken. It's your dose of the
hottest influencer and pop culture news twice a week. I'm
Amy Torber, I'm Kate Torbert, and I'm Sophie Torber. And
coming up on today's show, Bachelor star Tara Pavlovitch reveals
her marriage is over, Tammy Hembro and a new boyfriend
pack on the PDA, Chloe Zeb's controversial marriage counselor the
(00:26):
first Molly May's much anticipated added as shoes have dropped
to mixed reviews. Kate, look, the reviews were always going
to be mixed. Mollie May always seems to elicit such
a diverse reaction. There are people like us who simply
loved the shoes from the get go. I mean, and
I've got to admit, there probably wasn't a universe where
I wasn't going to like the shoes. My favorites would
(00:47):
have to be the Marcher ones. I love the color
and I love the double bow design. It is so cute.
That's the only thing I wasn't sure of when I
first saw a photo of them, because for those who
haven't seen the shoes, they're this green marcher shade. And
then the shoelacers are broken into two sections, so up
the top there's a white shoelace and then at the
bottom there's a pink shoelace. Obviously it's for the strawberry marches,
(01:08):
and then the foam up the top to represent that.
And I was like, oh, I don't know how I
feel about that, because it's quite a big statement with
the shoelacers. But she had to go there with the
shoelace because she was already coppying criticism about all these
shoes are just going to be boring. We've already got
a green somber. This made them stand out, and she's
thought of everything because the Marcher shoes actually come with
much of colored shoelacers, and she explained that you don't
(01:30):
have to wear them with the double bow. You can
actually lace them just like normal shoelaces. You can have
pink shoelaces, you can have white, and you can have
the Marcher. So essentially three different looks from one pair
of shoes, and all for one hundred pounds, so you know,
around two hundred Australian tallers. I really want some. We
are recording before they've gone on sale. I'm guessing they're
going to sell like hotcakes. My money is on the
(01:50):
Marchers shoes selling out first. I'm not as big a
fan of the Latte shoes because they are actually Superstars,
which is an interesting move. I don't think anyone was
expecting Molly to re vibe the Superstars. It's actually a
very clever move from Addadas to bring out the Superstars
with Molly May because her audience is predominantly made up
of gen zetters who wouldn't have worn the Superstars back
(02:11):
in twenty fifteen when they were popular. They were probably
too young. So she's introducing the Superstars to this fresh audience.
So it's win win for added As, because let's be honest,
anything that Molly May brings out is going to sell
out for added As, even if it's a shoe like
the Superstar that people haven't worn for over ten years. Well,
in a recent vog, Molly was talking about how she's
recently rediscovered Superstars. I feel like she was reading from
(02:32):
a bit of a script from added Aas and she
was saying that they were the shoe that was missing
in her wardrobe because they're this perfect mix between a
chunky and a slimmer trainer. I'm spewing because I only
just recently chucked out my Superstars from twenty fifteen. I
was like, of course, but I mean, if there's any
of Molly May's late ones left, I probably will purchase.
It's quite cute because she said the brown stripes on
(02:55):
the Superstars are a bit of a nod to the
brown spiezel shoe that she wore in the photo first
got her noticed by Added Ass. I just want to
know whether I can get them in Australia or not.
I feel like these are only a UK thing. I
saw them for three hundred and eighty nine dollars on
some stock x website. So I mean this is the
thing with added as sneakers and shoes in general. You're
going to find a lot of people will buy them
(03:15):
to on sell or they'll buy them for their collection. Well.
Fortunately Molly has confirmed this is just the start of
her collaboration with added Ass. When she originally announced that
she had this deal with added As, she said she
was bringing out a collection and a lot of people
confused when it was only two shoes, but she has
said more is coming. I'm hoping the new collection will
include some tracksuits, because I am obsessed with this dark
(03:38):
green pair of added As original trackies that she wore,
and they've sold out everywhere, so I'm hoping that she
brings out another cool color. About how she revealed that
she made the team of Addedas redo the photo shoot
because she wasn't happy. I mean I got it because
she said she was pregnant at the time and she
saw the photos and was like, nah, that's something I
would do. Oh, it's one hundred percent something you would do.
So I kind of want to see what the old
(03:59):
photos looked. I'd love to know how much money this
deal is worth. The fact that they were happy just
to redo the photo shoot because it would have been
so expensive, particularly because she has to fly across to
Germany to work with the team, and I assume the
photoshop would have been in jeppil are saying the deal's
worth two pounds Kate if they end up not actually
selling them in Australia or they're sold out. If you
(04:20):
go on added Ass's website, they've got a gazelle that
looks exactly like them. Oh okay, that's good to know.
It appears things are getting serious between Tammy Hembro and
a new boyfriend, Grayson Timlana. The couple spent the Easter
Long weekend in Tammy's hometown and boy, Kate, did they
pack on the PDA. I know I am not a
(04:40):
fan of PDA, and it seems like my social media
algorithm knows that and is just trying to annoy me,
because every week it feels like there are fresh photos
of this pair making out on the beach together and
I've just seen far too much of it. And what
I find really awkward about the photos is it's clear
that Tammy and Grayson know the paps are there, and
it seems like they're really playing it up for the camera.
(05:01):
You say that you keep getting flooded with the pap pigs.
My for You page constantly keeps recommending his TikTok, but
they also thing is he's only getting about five likes
on the videos. There was one of him like pretending
to play basketball and it's just him pouting. I'm like,
please stop recommending this. Would love to know where the
cameras were actually situated this weekend in relation to where
(05:22):
Tammy and Grayson were on the beach, because the Daily
Mail made it look like they positioned their picnic rug
literally right in front of the cameras, and it actually
looked like the usual spot Tammy takes her kids. Fortunately
they didn't appear to be there. But the biggest question
I have is did Grayson meet Tammy's kids at Easter.
I remember last year we were talking about the fact
(05:42):
that Matt Sakowski was absent from her Easter celebrations and
that really did sparkle a lot of speculation that the
couple had broken up. It's just wild to think a
year on she's got this new boyfriend. I've been trying
to work it out the whole Easter timeline because prior
to these pap shots dropping, Tammy was posting as if
she was having this really cute, wholesome family Easter holiday
with her kids. However, Grayson today uploaded a photo dump
(06:07):
of his time in Queensland and it appears that he
and Tammy were holidaying in Nosa together as well, so
I don't know if that was in the lead up
to Easter. He of course uploaded a photo of her
standing in her bikinis very far away in a house,
so you have to really zoom in, but you can
tell an I get really confused because I follow Matt
Pool's fiance annals Oatway, who seems so lovely, and sometimes
(06:31):
she'll be sharing photos of Matt and Tammy's daughter Posey
on the weekend, and then she'll also pop up in
Tammy's videos on the weekend, and I'm like, hold on,
Tammy's video is really old, Like who's is in real time? Yeah? Well,
I mean she might go between the houses on the weekend.
Who knows what their arrangement is. It was quite funny
talking about Matt Paul. He actually poked a bit of
(06:52):
fun at Tammy last week. So he shared a photo
of the back of Posey's hair and she had one
of those like fake long platts clipped in the back
of it, and he captured the photo like mother like
daughter of little laughing the ji. I wonder if they
had a bit of a laugh about that with Tammy
or whether she was completely unaware it was being posted. Well,
I think, considering she's had so many tiktoks up paying
(07:15):
herself out, I think she probably would have laughed. Well.
Back to Tammy's relationship with Grayson, she actually spoke briefly
about it on Lucy Jackson Nicky Wescott's radio show, So
in an interview, she said that she wanted to protect
her new relationship. What do you guys think about that?
It's odd that you want to protect it, but you're
ringing the paps every five minutes, and also you're appearing
on a red carpet with him when things are very fresh.
(07:37):
It seems to be a bit of mixed messaging there.
Hang on, back to the pap comments, it's clearly Grayson
calling them. I don't think Tammy. That was My other point,
is Grayson away, Like, does Grayson actually want to be protected?
Because I don't think he does. I think he wants
his relationship to be front and center out in the media.
It was funny. Before Tammy appeared on Lucy and Nicky's
radio show, she admitted that she was quite worried about
(07:58):
how rogues they were going to go in terms of
their line of questioning. I mean, I don't blame her considering.
Lucy uploaded a video saying that she wanted to ask
Tammy who she'd fuck Mary and kill out the Beyonce.
That didn't make the radio cut, but it sounds like
Tammy may possibly be appearing on the Happy Hour podcast
with Lucy and Yiki. That would be so good because
(08:20):
they're actually friends and I feel like they could get
quite a lot of interesting details out of Tammy. Well,
Tammy's actually just arrived in the US ready for Coachella,
So I'm just bracing myself for a lot of tiktoks
of grace and there with her walking around pouting. Yeah,
I think it's safe to say he will be there.
He posted a cryptic airport shot and you know, obviously
(08:40):
he's been told he can't post too much, but he's
trying to let his followers piece it all together. He's
clearly very turn one thousand of them. No, he's actually
got four thousand now, so he's doubled his following. Crazy though,
I Mean we spoke about this when Tammy was with Matt,
the fact that you can date someone who's got what
like twenty plus million followers and you're only getting three
(09:03):
thousand extra followers. Like, the only one that really monopolized
on getting a following was Rhys Hawkins. He's still got
a massive following on Yeah, but did they grew together though?
And he's fucking hot. Going back to Coachella for a second,
is Sammy Gougenheimer going or not, because I know we
spoke about the fact that she seemed to be pleading
for a ticket. Has she actually got one? Judging by
(09:24):
a quick scroll of her TikTok, she still appears to
be in Australia, which must be a bit of a
kick in the dick. I have seen some tick tokers
saying that they're absolutely living for everyone's behind the scenes
at Coachella because everyone just needs a bit of light
and a bit of fun at the moment with everything
that's going on. Or paid in the term kicked in
the dick because I feel like by the only people
(09:44):
who say it. I've heard us say it so many
times in our podcast. If we ever bring up merch,
it's got to have kick kicked in the dick on
it or something. After months of speculation, Tara Pavlovitch has
confirmed she has separated from her husband Nick Shepherdson. The
former Bachelor contestant said she does believe in love anymore
following the split. Now, before we get into it, so
(10:04):
can you give us a quick relationship breakdown? Yeah? So,
for some background, Tara was on Mattie Jay's season of
the Bachelor, which if you can believe was filmed back
in twenty seventeen. She was such a legend on there.
She was one of my favorite contestines. She was really funny. Now.
She first went public about her relationship with Nick in
August twenty eighteen, and it was quite controversial at the
(10:24):
time because it was just two months after she separated
from her fiance Sam Cochran, who she met on Bachelor
in Paradise. And it turns out that Tara and Nick
knew each other for ten years before they actually got
into a relationship. Now, they got married in September twenty
twenty during the pandemic, and they actually made headlines because
they fed their guest MacDonald's at the reception, which I
(10:46):
think is just a bit of a fun fact. Oh
that's electnic. Yeah, that's legendary. It doesn't surprise me. I
follow Tara on socials and she's so down to earth.
I mean, it's not surprising that she was the fan
favorite in the twenty seventeen Bachelor. And even though it's
nearly been ten years since she was on the Bachelor,
she stayed very relevant across social media. She's got a
(11:06):
following of two hundred thousand on Instagram, and she's known
now for sharing really relatable mum content. I've enjoyed a
lot of her mum content. It's been popping up on
my feet in the last couple of years. So I
was really sad when I saw this news. Yeah, because
the couple shared two kids, So they have a son,
Patty who's four, and a daughter, Eddie Ray, who is
only three. So this is a really sad situation. Now,
(11:27):
there have been rumors for a number of months now
that Nick is no longer in the picture. So in February,
rumors started gaining traction when Tara went on a gifted
cruise with her kids and sister, but no Nick, and
at the time she said he was working and couldn't attend.
But when Tara returned home from the cruise, she shared
a tiary Instagram story saying that she was navigating and
(11:48):
trying to work through something in her life that was
making her sad. And from that point, Nick was notably
absent from her Instagram stories and Tara ended up staying
at her best friend's house for a number of days.
Tara will stopped wearing her wedding rings in her Instagram
stories and Another giveaway was that she went and drastically
changed her hair, so she chopped all of her hair off,
(12:09):
which is, you know, something that we all seem to
do when we go through a breakup and sadly. Tara
added more fuel to the rumors when she uploaded a
story on the twenty ninth of March with the caption
perfect end to one of the shittest days of my life. Now,
many of her followers guests that this was the day
Nick moved out, and there has been so much chatter
online about this it would be so difficult for Tara
(12:30):
to navigate. Amber from Influence updates AU said that she
has been receiving daily questions about the couple's relationship status. Yeah,
all of the speculation would be so tough. And there
was even more when Tara uploaded a photo dump from
Easter with Nick notably absent again, which led her to
address the speculation on Monday, so she revealed that the
(12:50):
couple were separated. In a lengthy post. She wrote, I
know there's been a lot of speculation about what's been
going on in my life lately, so I wanted to
share this in my own words. Nick and I have
separated This hasn't been a quick or easy decision. It's
something we've been trying to work through for a long time,
and for a while, I honestly didn't even know what
the outcome would be. But after a lot of thought,
(13:11):
I've come to the decision that this is what's best
moving forward. She continued, writing, the last eight months have
been incredibly challenging, and I know many of you have
probably felt that through my content as I have been
an absolute mess. There's been a lot happening behind the scenes,
and a lot I've been processing privately. Our kids will
always be our priority, and everything I've done has been
with them at the center of it. As hard as
(13:34):
it is, I truly believe this is the best thing
for them because they deserve a happy present Mum, and
I finally feel like I'm getting back to that place.
She then explained that her body has been holding on
to excessive stress due to the marriage breakdown, saying her
body is finally at peace and she can feel it.
She backed this up by uploading a photo from her
garm and watch showing her heart rate, which had finally
(13:56):
become balanced after weeks of it being low and unbalanced.
She then confirmed that she wouldn't be sharing details of
what led to the split, saying she is an open book,
so it's going to be hard not to share, but
there are things that she needs to keep private out
of respect for her kids and their future as co parents.
She finished off by saying she's doing okay, and for
the first time in a long time, she feels a
(14:18):
sense of peace and she knows it's the right path
forward for her and her family, and in the caption,
she added that she doesn't believe in love anymore, but
hopes one day she will again. Gosh, I feel so
sorry for Tara. It must have been really hard to
address all of that online. I think it's a good
move though, for her not to share what actually caused
the breakdown, especially for her children. I mean, I feel
(14:41):
like Tara is the type of person that will actually
stick to that as well. I mean, I've seen a
lot of influencers go, oh, I'm not going to go
into any of the nitty gritty, and then six months
down the line, you've heard literally every detail about their
break up. Because she has released such a lengthy statement,
people are sort of reading between the lines and kind
of adding to and two together. So because she mentioned
(15:02):
that things sort of turns south eight months ago, there
is a lot of speculation that maybe he cheated eight
months ago, or maybe something unforgivable happened eight months ago. Again,
those are just rumors. There's actually no fact to back
that up. See. I find it strange that that's a
conclusion people are coming up with, because eight months ago
is quite a long time ago. Like if you said, oh,
(15:22):
what he did to me two weeks ago, you might think, oh, okay,
it's been a knee jerk decision. He's cheated and she
said get out of the house. The fact that was
eight months ago, it could be something else. Yeah. But
if you're in a marriage and have two kids and
perhaps cheating goes down, maybe you think, okay, I've got
to give this time. See if I can forgive the person,
maybe we can move on from the situation. It's not
(15:43):
always going to just be a knee jerk decision. Yeah,
But to me, referencing eight months doesn't make me think
automatically that it was cheating. I think there it could
be a handful of other reasons. Well, it sounds like
something has gone down. Yeah. Well, on Wednesday, Tara jumped
on her Instagram stories to give more detail about how
her co parenting relationship with Nick is currently working. So
she revealed that they have been separated now for two weeks,
(16:06):
and they've agreed to a five days on, five days
off routine with the kids. So she revealed that they've
been separated for two weeks now and they've agreed to
a five days on, five days off routine with the kids,
which I find quite interesting. So she said, it's so
weird to have five days off in a row kid free,
and she can't even explain the amount of time that
she has now. She said she's sorted every aspect of
(16:28):
her life out in terms of organizing her house and cleaning,
and she said, by this day she's actually quite bored
and doesn't know what to do with herself. I feel
like the novelty of that would wear off really quickly,
considering their only two weeks in. Is going to be like,
oh wow, I've got all this time to myself. But
considering you know, she's been quite open about the fact
that she's heartbroken over the situation, you probably don't want
a lot of time on your own to think about everything.
(16:50):
That's just happened. She actual seemed quite upbeat in the story.
She said that she was really excited because she'd planned
a night out with her friends and she just doesn't
want to sit home and cry about the situation. She
wants to make the most out of it and focus
on the positives, which she said at the moment is
extra time with their friends and extra time to work
out and also concentrate on her own career. And she
(17:12):
said that she's really grateful because she knows that her
kids love being with their dad and he is a
very capable parent. I mean, to me, it seems like
she's trying to make the most of a difficult situation.
She also said that while she finds it really difficult
to say goodbye to her kids for such a big
chunk of time, the time that she now spends with
her children is so much of a higher quality, so
(17:33):
she's more present with them. Chloe Zepp has opened up
about her experience working with a marriage counselor. The og
influencer claims she was speaking out to help others, However,
it quickly turned into an undisclosed ad. This is probably
one of the strangest videos I've seen on Instagram for
a while. I don't know if it's that Chloe has
(17:54):
gotten a bit rusty after taking such a big social
media hiatus or the perhaps technology has moved too quickly
for her. But when I watched it, it kind of
seemed like she was this boomer who had never filmed
a social media video before. Like the camera kept panning
up and falling off this makeshift tripod, and she spoke
(18:14):
as if she'd never been on camera before. And there
was this really loud background music that was too loud.
It was just not good at all. Okay, that's what
all the old YouTubers used to do. The music used
to always be way too loud in the background. Yeah,
but she evolved from that, and now it's like she's
gone back to that. Is it with influencers not owning
tripods for their cameras. It's like I've balanced you on
(18:35):
a ton of cans. It's like, what the fuck? Just
buy like they sell them. It came up for like
ten bucks. I mean, while the production level was low,
the content was quite interesting because Chloe admitted that she
and Mitch wouldn't have had such a tumultuous relationship if
they had actually spoken to a marriage counselor when they
first had their son, Artie, and if you cast your
(18:56):
mind back, they had Artie in twenty nineteen and it
was the when Mitch was sleeping in the movie room
and they were always on again, off again, and there
was clear there were a lot of issues going on
in their relationship. She also went on to say that
she believes every couple needs to have marriage counseling just
before or after they have kids. I actually think that
is not a bad idea, particularly when you're moving into
(19:19):
this massive life stage. It would be great to have
a counselor sit down with you and say, look, your
life is about to change, and these are ways that
you can help each other and keep communication going. Some
couples at Dale and I know who've recently split up
or have split up over the last couple of years,
they've used marriage counseling as a last resort, and often
the counselor says, you should have come to us a
(19:40):
year ago. It's actually irreversible, the damage that's been done
so well not long ago. Tully Smyth and her boyfriend
Ned spoke about how they got couples counseling pretty early
on in their relationship, and they would recommend it to
any everyone. It does seem very in vogue. Now back
to Chloe's video. What started out as this currently helpful
(20:01):
advice to her followers quickly turned into an ad as
she tagged the marriage counselor in her story and promoted
their new course specifically for couples who have children. It
really got rid of any validity that her initial comments
had because it's like, well, are you just doing this
so you get free marriage counseling? Like, I'd love to
know the partnership that she's got going on. Is it contra?
(20:22):
I don't think that she would put this up in
exchange for just a contra deal. I think this would
have to be a full blown paid partnership, And as
you've touched on, I think she's a little bit rusty
when it comes to social media, so she hasn't disclosed
it as a paid partnership. I actually think it could
be a contra deal. If you reflect on the past
couple of years for Chloe and Mitch, They've moved to Newcastle,
They're offline a lot. Mitch has a nine to five
(20:44):
job now Chloe is a stay at home mum, she's
shut down her business. We spoke in length about all
of the issues she had with that business, and I
think that they probably go, Okay, well, we need that service,
so I'm happy to put up a quick Instagram story
about it. I mean, it's not the first the couple
have spoken about marriage counseling. Earlier this year, Mitch actually
(21:04):
promoted the same marriage counselor on his own Instagram stories,
and similar to Chloe, he said that he felt compelled
to speak publicly about it because it had really helped them. Interestingly,
he wrote, as a male, when you hear your partner
wants to do marriage counseling, you assume things are over,
but in reality, it feels like a new beginning. So
he made it quite clear that it was Chloe that
(21:26):
was the one that wanted to do marriage counseling in
the first place. Yeah. Well, if they've already got the
marriage counseling, why they want another dose of it because
things are bad or they just want to keep it going. Now,
the elephant in the room is that Chloe and Mitch
aren't actually married. They got engaged a couple of years ago,
but they had their children out of wedlock. I mean,
the term wedlock feels like a very old fashioned term.
I only bring that up because they are spreaking a
(21:48):
very Christian life at the moment, and Chloe is trying
to be this sort of Stepford wife. I mean, they
might not officially be married, but let's be real, they're
practically married. They've been together for over ten years, and
they have two kids. So I think if anyone needs
marriage counseling, it's that situation. Like, I don't think it
really matters if they've got a piece of paper, but
it is funny to keep promoting marriage counseling when you're
(22:11):
still engaged.
