whilst others felt the sports stadium didn't really fit her vibe.

wedding venue, it's got Travis Kelcey all over. Is he

When you really think about it, though, the venue suits

sporting events and also music events, so it's kind of

is used to performing in front of crowds of over

expected Taylor Swift to have a beautiful, intimate wedding, but
with all her money, she would have been able to

this was some sort of decoy is because in Taylor's

song The Lucky One, she sings choose the Rose Garden
over Madison Square, And this song is all about the
dark side of fame and how she'd rather choose this
peaceful life with privacy and quiet and away from the
spotlight aka a rose Garden, then the chaotic rush of
fame performing at Madison Square Garden. So this seems in
contrast to what she was singing about. Again, Taylor co

lot of it was reflective of their relationship and how
he liked to keep things private. I mean, she got
her Rose Garden with Travis Kelcey as well, because he

I've seen a lot of people saying online on this

was leaked because they literally had a drone over the
top of that wedding. Can you imagine if Taylor had
this outside somewhere And I always seen as like some tablecloths,

the AI photos that were doing around. Sophie sent one
through on Saturday and she's like, oh my god, like

this was not how I expected her to wear her hair.
And I was like, that is clearly an aid, I
sent it to soph and I said, I'm pretty sure
these are fake, but the fake they were good. They
were good because they even had There was one that
had a picture of Sabrina Carpenter or blurry next to Taylor's.
That's just drew me, like how blurry they were. Anyway,

getting back to the lead up to the wedding, by
the middle of last week, it became very apparent that
Madison's garden wasn't a decoy and this was the real deal.
So large trucks were seen arriving at the venue's loading
dock delivering food, decorations, and event planning supplies. There were
so many cameras waiting outside to see these trucks. People
were zooming up to see any labels that they could.

A lot of journos claimed that they could see stuff
labeled like garden and decorations, but I call it a bullshit.
There was some guy driving a forkliff that literally had
a T shirt that said Taylor Swiss Crew, so that
kind of gave it a I mean, also the fact
that Travis's teammates were all staying in hotels in Midtown
and security had been ramping up. There were barricades closing
off the street. Well, things became even more obvious on

Wednesday night when a permit for a special event at
MSG was given by the New York Mayor, and the
permit showed that one hundred guests would be arriving in
Madison Swaart Garden at six thirty pm local time on
Thursday night for a rehearsal dinner, followed by a full
street closure overnight, with multiple entrances and drive through areas
to be erected around the area. Now, the permit stated

that the main event was on Friday, aka the wedding,
and it was scheduled to last from five pm on
Friday until four am the following morning. Was anyone confused
as to why she had a Friday wedding because I
feel like it's a bit of a contentious topic among brides,
but I think Saturday is the best day. I think
it was because she didn't want to have her wedding
on the fourth of July and take away from the
celebrations over the weekend. I mean, she's already created a

lot of headaches for locals in the area. Imagine if
she also took that up on the actual day of
the celebration. She clearly chose the fourth of July weekend
because it's special to her, it's her favorite holiday. Well,
this sort of permit that Taylor and Travis Scott isn't cheap.
In order to hold an event of this scale, which
requires all of the street closures, it costs as much
as sixty six thousand dollars all day. Come on, that

would be like loose change to Taylor Swift. Well, as
you can imagine, not everyone was pleased with these street closures,
and they took to social media to complain about them.
I mean, as we've touched on it, this was the
fourth of July weekend. A lot of people had other
plans and it did disrupt a lot of people. The NYPD,
in the lead up to the wedding also put out
an alert to staff describing the event as Taylor Swift's wedding.

It's funny. My husband pulled me up the other day.
I was like, oh, at Taylor and Travis's wedding. He's like,
come on, it's just Taylor Swift wedding. Bake. Well, did
you guys see this video circulating in the lead up
to the wedding. It went viral on TikTok. It showed
a police officer holding a folder that said Swift Kelsey
wedding and it was in the most hideous cursive writing
you've ever seen, and the couple's engagement photo was on

the folder, and everyone's going nuts about the font. Someone
said in that font, which got over one hundred thousand likes,
and a lot of people pointed out, look, this isn't
from Taylor's team. Someone back in the NYPD office clearly
printed this out. They chose the photo, they chose the writing.
She imagined the poor person that's like written it, and
they're like, oh my god, I thought I did quite
a good job of it. I mean, so you've touched

on it. But it's very clear this venue was strategically
picked for security reasons. I mean, it's proved to be
an impenetrable fortress. It allowed the couple to have the
highest level of security and avoid paparazzi and drones. We
are yet at the time of recording, to see any photos,
well real photos of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce in
their wedding outfits. I think the part Taylor like the

most was that she and Travis as well as the
guests were able to drive into a private tented area
in their cars and escape being seen by the media
and the public. I mean, anyone that is a fan
of Taylor Swift will know that she's able to get
on stage at her concert because she hides in a faked,
mocked up cleaning cart. So clearly that's on her mind

a lot. I wonder if there was some form of
entry that she did that was a little bit quirky.
I'm sure I we'll find out about it later if
she did. According to all reports, all employees working on
the wedding were required to also turn in their phones
for twelve hours whilst they were on site. I mean
that would have had to be a necessity because I mean,
I know that it sounds like a lot of the
guests had to sign NDAs in the lead up to

the wedding, but you could have imagined someone working there
sending a sneaky photo to their I wonder if there
was like a teared system, because there were a lot
of a listers there, so was it like, Okay, if
you're a Brad Pit and a Hugh Grant, you don't
have to turn your phone in. You can take photos,
but a where some people like the Good Morning American
hosts that actually had to take their phones into any media.

I mean, I don't actually think that. I think it
was only people working on the wedding who had to
turn in their phones. I don't think they were asking
the celebrities. I've heard differently. I think there was a
no phone's policy, but it's sort of like at every
other wedding where it's sort of understood that you can't
have your phone out when the bride's walking down the aisle.
Have you guys seen the TikTok where someone's imitating Brittany
Mahomes and she's like, please, can I just post the photo?

And he's like, Shari brand, Now, we can't because they
haven't posted there. There's been a lot of talk about
how dystopian this wedding was, and I think Taylor and
Travis knew that were gonna cop this criticism because ahead
of the wedding it was reported that the couple donated
twenty six million dollars to charity. Are we thinking this
was damage control? Oh yeah, Tree Pain would have been like, look, guys,

we're going to need to drop a considerable amount of money.
I mean, we already know that Taylor donates a lot
of her money and also time to charity, so it's
not surprising. A lot of Swifties were analyzing the figure
and the fact that it's twenty six million and saying, well, obviously,
Taylor Swift's favorite number is thirteen thirteen times two is
twenty six Is this also another sort of throwback to

the fact that they're in love and there's two of them.
Who did the wedding cost twenty six million or do
you think it costs way more? God way that. One
thing that even rich people can't control is the weather.
As we touched on, there was a heat wave going
on over the fourth of July weekend. One reporter said
that it felt like it was forty one degrees where
he was standing, So he was standing amongst fans who

would swarm the streets. A lot of them were wearing
wedding dresses, which was quite funny, and this obviously got
my interest. As you touched on, I got married in
forty degree weather as well. But I'm sure there was
some good air con going on in Madison Square Garden.
I mean, that's the beauty of having it somewhere like
a stadium, You're not having to contend with weather conditions outside. Well,
the air conditioning was a really contentious issue because a

lot of New York was were actually being told to
conserve their power while others were having their electricity turned off.
So there were a number of deaths reported over that holiday.
I mean, that's not Taylor and Travis's fault, but it
didn't help to the optics of the wedding that there
was this billionaire wedding going on. It's actually pissing me
off now because I've seen a lot of commentary around, Oh,

Taylor Swifts not a nice person because she's a billionaire.
There is impossible to be an ethical billionaire, and people
are comparing her wedding to Jeff Bezos. I think people
need to calm down. They need to calm down. She
is an incredible billionaire, she gives back a lot, and
I think just let her have her wedding day. I mean,
Madison Square Garden hosts a lot of events, so if

there was a basketball game on, would people have blamed
that event for losing power? Like it's just ridiculous. Now,
I don't know, how did you guys feel waking up
on Saturday morning knowing that the wedding was taking place.
Then well, a lot of people have been saying they
now know how their mums felt Princess Diana got married,
because they did have that same kind of vibe. At
least Princess Diana's wedding was televised, like we were just

waiting on TikTok for any stock of information. I was
just searching for any crumbs I could find possible. And
I was so jealous when I woke up to see
celebrity gossip account du Noir posting all of the celebrities arriving,
Like I had this real pit in my stomach where

I could go. I wish I was you. Granted you.
That was a weird thing for me, because you have

this parasocial relationship with Taylor Swift. It almost felt strange
that I know, she obviously is a celebrity, but she
feels somewhat like a friend because we've all grown up
with her, and then to see these A listers going
to her wedding kind of felt odd. Well, in the
lead up to the wedding, she joked that anyone she'd
ever talked to would get an invite, and it kind
of seems like she made good on that promise. There

were hundreds of celebrities there. I loved one Tiktoker's take

was driving in a limousine and they were all blaring
love story on the way to the ceremony. It was
so weird to see because we actually did that on
the way to my wedding, and I'm like, it's so
weird that you're actually going to Taylor swifts wedding. So
many parallels between our weddings. But didn't she apparently walk

down to Love Story as well. Yeah, this actually blew
my mind. At first, I was like, oh, okay, that's
sort of a bit strange. But then I'm like, well,
how as the biggest artist in the world, how could
you not choose one of your songs like these the
music's about, well, this is music about her life and
also the fact that so many people who have weddings
also use this song. Well, Paul McCartney was also there,

and he took to the stage to perform I Want
to Hold Your Hand, like wild. Steven Spielberg was there,
Jessica Alba, Millie, Bobby Brown, Race Witherspoon, like fucking literally,
any celebrity that you could think of seemed to be there.

officially husband and wife. At first glance, it looked like
it just said just married, but when you looked closer,

I literally screenshot this and send it immediately through to

There's a spelling area there that's not there an outlages.
It looked weird to me. I was like, it doesn't

something about it I didn't like, Like I saw the

kind of just reminded me of the reputation logo. Yeah,
I also think that everyone it seems shocked by this.
But in terms of the style of the wedding, Taylor
Swift has never been known for her style. She's always
been called stylish if anything, you know, you know what
I mean, Like, yeah, I just meant more the spelling era.
Like what I thought was funnier though about the way

that they announced that they were married is a couple
of journals have compared it to when the smoke rises
over the Vatican to announce the selection of a new pope.
They're like, look, they just they blasted on the screens
outside Madison Square Gardens. The Empire State building also lit
up blue, so it seems like that was actually Taylor's
something blue. In an official statement, he was announced that
the landmark would be lit up with a light blue

clear if this was a request from Taylor or not.
That's why a lot of other people are being like,

trying to enjoy the wedding and she's having a release
statements to the media. Come on, she would have had

a scheduling issue, Like you know, how power was going

out prior now. In this statement, he didn't specify when
or where the couple got married. I mean, even though

in a more intimate ceremony beforehand. So that's why she

people are holding on to hope that that happened for
some reason, like it just doesn't make sense in people's
head that this was the actual wedding. Now, while no
official photos have been released, I'm guessing they'll be dropped
just as this podcast goes to air. There's media statement
actually confirmed what they were wearing. So they were dressed
by door designer Jonathan Anderson. Why do you think this

information was released? Is it a collaboration? Maybe? I mean,
I don't think it's a situation where Taylor had to
have a free dress or anything like that. Like a
lot of influences, but I wouldn't be surprised if she
was inundated by designers contacting her. And clearly there was
some sort of agreement that if they were to make
her this grand dress, they get some sort of recognition
in the press release. You think it was also a

by Dior. Because I was pretty shocked originally when I
saw that photo and was like, oh my god, is
this real. I didn't expect Taylor to wear a dress

what are we guessing the photos are gonna look like?
I think something that matched up with her ring, so
very sort of classic looking. We have heard that she

fairy tail vibes. I'm convinced that Travis Kelsey did not
wear a black touches, So as soon as I saw
those images, that's what actually made me think that they
were fake, because I was like, he would look great
in a black typees eater, but he's got too much

he just gets really nervous around her because he doesn't

want to ruin it for his girls. He's like, I
just want to be cool, like I don't want to
like get nervously around her. Imagine having that nervous energy

he's known not to really dress up. I mean, maybe
he was wearing his best white tracksuit to sort of

no stipulation on colors that you could wear. Can you

it was quite clear that the media were hoping that
at least one of the thousand guests was going to
post too much or squeal about what went down. As

disclosure agreements which came with their invites. Yet one of
the wedding guests clearly broke that agreement because he posted
a very lengthy insider account of what went on, So
he put this up on x Now. The guest and
question was Aaron. Aaron so he is a CEO of AMC,
so he became friendly with Taylor when he negotiated her
movie deal. So he brought The Eerrors two theaters worldwide,

so he would be familiar with contracts, yes, particularly in NTA.
I want to point out that his post has since
been removed, but he went into a lot of detail
about what went down. It kind of reminds me of
those older relatives who don't realize and not allowed to post,
you know, their grainy picture of the bride before she's

to me, and it was a family friend on Reese's
side of the family, and I was absolutely spewing because
it's like the worst photo of me. And I was like,
I mean, thank god these people don't have any followers

funny because when I haven't been invited to a wedding

to look at their Facebook to see if some random

relatives okay something, or or you check their tagged photos
on Instagram. Well, the difficulty with Taylor's wedding is that
all of these people do have a following, so and
obviously the media were just trying to see anyone mentioning it.
In the post, Adam described the transformation of Madison Square Garden, saying,
immediately upon entry everything, floors, walls, ceilings were draped in

peach and white. Large blown up pictures of Taylor and
Travis at each age, year by year, from one year
old to late teenagehood were on display. That's some interesting
thing to include at a wedding. I love it. I
actually think I was saying to Mum. I was like,
if I was a huge celebrity, I would have done
that because I'm obsessed with photography. It doesn't seem more

like a twenty first birthday, No, because you've got to remember,
when you have a wedding, it's all about you. It's
like the last real celebration of you as an adult.
It's almost like, you know, if you choose to have children,
the celebrations are then about your children. This is the
last time for them to be I mean it's a

and these are two families coming together a lot of

people on a very small level. On tables, they will
have pictures of them as children. I feel like a
lot of critics will say that this is very ego driven,
but I think it's a really cute touch. Now so cute,
he continued in the post, saying a small portion of
MSG was cornered off, devoid of any notion that a
basketball or hockey game ever shared that space. Somehow, magically

someone created an outdoor garden at a lush countryside retreat.
Everything draped off, this time in green and white, real flowers,
and I think artificial trees. Welcome fifteen rows of maybe
seventy four or so chairs. They say there were around
one thousand attendees, but surprisingly it felt intimate and small.
Everything was close. I just love the dais how that

this guy has gone into, particularly on a platform like
x that doesn't really let you share a lot. He's
obviously made multiple posts about it. It reminds me of
our dad, because anything he goes to he has to
write a full review of it. He's got the most
trip Advisor reviews in the state of anybody. I just
found it interesting that he also spoke about how intimate
this wedding felt, but because when the Good Morning America

hosts spoke about it, they chose a very similar line.
They said, despite there being a thousand people, it felt
very intimate. So I wonder if they have been told
you can say this and this and the three given
them some key messages to stick to. He did not
mention x Y and Z Well. I was interested to
hear that the theme was described as Alice in Wonderland meets
Wizard of Oz. It sounds very sort of mystical. I

don't know if I'm a fan of that for a wedding,
but that is so tailored. That's the thing for me personally, No,
but for Taylor yes. Now, also for me personally, yes,
if I had a billion dollars true, true, you know
that on a budget wouldn't be so hard. You're not
going to your local costume shop and getting some tucky
decorations like this is. I mean, I can already see

it in my mind, particularly all the greenery, Like I
think that's what people were expecting, that she would go
to some location that had that naturally, but she has
the means to bring that inside. So with the eras
tour you were able to see how she was able
to transform those sets into different worlds, so she probably thought, like,
I know the best people in the business to be
able to do this well. As we touched on earlier,

Adam even dropped details on what the bride and groom wore,
so he wrote a few violins and cellos USh it
in the wedding party headlined by handsome Travis in a
white tux and a jaw dropping tailor in a stunning
white dress with a long veiled train, we need to
saw details on the dress as well as For Adam Sandler,
it was a bit weird because he didn't actually specifically

name him, but just said he was funny, welcoming, and eloquent.
He also described the vows as long, entertaining, personal, charming, emotional, irreverent,
and an endearing exploration of how they met and why
they wanted to be with each other for a teen
I've heard the vows went for twenty minutes each, so
forty minutes in total. But who wouldn't want to listen

to that? I actually saw the cutest meme and it
said I hope Travis Kelsey enjoys growing old with Taylor
Swift as much as we enjoyed growing up with her.
You know what, usually it is a bit of a
no no to have like a really long speech and vows.
But if you're Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey, everyone's hanging
off everything. That's my favorite bit of the wedding. I'm like, oh,

what they're gonna say. And also, do you think Adam
Sandler had the job? Because when you get married by
a celebrant, they get your vows beforehand and they go,

pressure was on Travis Kelcey to nail these vow That's

have needed any help, but perhaps there was someone from

Adam added, what was clear above all else was simply

the wedding that she wanted, because this is the wedding
that she put on, so let's respect it and celebrate it.

way that people use social media now, so many people
were able to air their grievances in real time, and
you kind of felt sorry for them because you've all

that I was giving my left arm to go to.

were convinced that this was all part of an elaborate

real wedding venue. A lot of them argued that the

whilst others felt the sports stadium didn't really fit her vibe.

could almost imagine them eloping and having no one there
and it all being top secret. But she's changed, She's

I mean, you didn't have a thousand guests, No, not
Quiet Street, you got a billion now. Surely though this
wedding venue, it's got Travis Kelcey all over. Is he
the one that persuaded Taylor Swift to get married here?
When you really think about it, though, the venue suits

them in the sense that Travis is an athlete and
Taylor is a singer, and Madison Square Garden hosts both
sporting events and also music events, so it's kind of
them coming together. And also people are like, oh, I
can't believe a thousand people were there, But Taylor Swift
is used to performing in front of crowds of over
fifty thousand people. Travis Kelsey performs in massive stadiums, so

a thousand people really isn't that many to them. It's
not a performance, it's a wedding. And I think everyone
expected Taylor Swift to have a beautiful, intimate wedding, but
with all her money, she would have been able to
transform Madison Square Garden into anything she wanted. Yeah. Well,

this was some sort of decoy is because in Taylor's

song The Lucky One, she sings choose the Rose Garden
over Madison Square, And this song is all about the
dark side of fame and how she'd rather choose this
peaceful life with privacy and quiet and away from the
spotlight aka a rose Garden, then the chaotic rush of
fame performing at Madison Square Garden. So this seems in
contrast to what she was singing about. Again, Taylor co

wrote this album with Joe Always, so I think a
lot of it was reflective of their relationship and how
he liked to keep things private. I mean, she got
her Rose Garden with Travis Kelcey as well, because he
proposed in a Rose garden that he had constructed in
his backyard. So why can't she have both? She can
have the Rose Garden and Madison Square Garden. I mean,
I've seen a lot of people saying online on this

swifties have come out in defense of the venue choice.
Many argued that it was a perfect blank canvas for

the middle of last week, it became very apparent that
Madison's garden wasn't a decoy and this was the real deal.
So large trucks were seen arriving at the venue's loading
dock delivering food, decorations, and event planning supplies. There were
so many cameras waiting outside to see these trucks. People
were zooming up to see any labels that they could.

There was some guy driving a forkliff that literally had

and security had been ramping up. There were barricades closing

permit showed that one hundred guests would be arriving in
Madison Swaart Garden at six thirty pm local time on
Thursday night for a rehearsal dinner, followed by a full
street closure overnight, with multiple entrances and drive through areas
to be erected around the area. Now, the permit stated

that the main event was on Friday, aka the wedding,
and it was scheduled to last from five pm on
Friday until four am the following morning. Was anyone confused
as to why she had a Friday wedding because I
feel like it's a bit of a contentious topic among brides,
but I think Saturday is the best day. I think
it was because she didn't want to have her wedding
on the fourth of July and take away from the
celebrations over the weekend. I mean, she's already created a

lot of headaches for locals in the area. Imagine if
she also took that up on the actual day of
the celebration. She clearly chose the fourth of July weekend
because it's special to her, it's her favorite holiday. Well,
this sort of permit that Taylor and Travis Scott isn't cheap.
In order to hold an event of this scale, which
requires all of the street closures, it costs as much
as sixty six thousand dollars all day. Come on, that

you can imagine, not everyone was pleased with these street closures,
and they took to social media to complain about them.

fourth of July weekend. A lot of people had other

in the lead up to the wedding also put out
an alert to staff describing the event as Taylor Swift's wedding.

I was like, oh, at Taylor and Travis's wedding. He's like,

you guys see this video circulating in the lead up
to the wedding. It went viral on TikTok. It showed

wedding and it was in the most hideous cursive writing
you've ever seen, and the couple's engagement photo was on

the folder, and everyone's going nuts about the font. Someone
said in that font, which got over one hundred thousand likes,
and a lot of people pointed out, look, this isn't
from Taylor's team. Someone back in the NYPD office clearly
printed this out. They chose the photo, they chose the writing.
She imagined the poor person that's like written it, and
they're like, oh my god, I thought I did quite
a good job of it. I mean, so you've touched

on it. But it's very clear this venue was strategically
picked for security reasons. I mean, it's proved to be
an impenetrable fortress. It allowed the couple to have the
highest level of security and avoid paparazzi and drones. We
are yet at the time of recording, to see any photos,
well real photos of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce in
their wedding outfits. I think the part Taylor like the

most was that she and Travis as well as the
guests were able to drive into a private tented area
in their cars and escape being seen by the media
and the public. I mean, anyone that is a fan

It's almost like, you know, if you choose to have children,
the celebrations are then about your children. This is the
last time for them to be I mean it's a
bit of storytelling from the start, like this is you know,
and these are two families coming together a lot of

people on a very small level. On tables, they will
have pictures of them as children. I feel like a
lot of critics will say that this is very ego driven,
but I think it's a really cute touch. Now so cute,
he continued in the post, saying a small portion of
MSG was cornered off, devoid of any notion that a
basketball or hockey game ever shared that space. Somehow, magically

someone created an outdoor garden at a lush countryside retreat.
Everything draped off, this time in green and white, real flowers,
and I think artificial trees. Welcome fifteen rows of maybe
seventy four or so chairs. They say there were around
one thousand attendees, but surprisingly it felt intimate and small.
Everything was close. I just love the dais how that

this guy has gone into, particularly on a platform like
x that doesn't really let you share a lot. He's
obviously made multiple posts about it. It reminds me of
our dad, because anything he goes to he has to
write a full review of it. He's got the most
trip Advisor reviews in the state of anybody. I just
found it interesting that he also spoke about how intimate
this wedding felt, but because when the Good Morning America

hosts spoke about it, they chose a very similar line.
They said, despite there being a thousand people, it felt
very intimate. So I wonder if they have been told
you can say this and this and the three given
them some key messages to stick to. He did not
mention x Y and Z Well. I was interested to
hear that the theme was described as Alice in Wonderland meets
Wizard of Oz. It sounds very sort of mystical. I

don't know if I'm a fan of that for a wedding,
but that is so tailored. That's the thing for me personally, No,
but for Taylor yes. Now, also for me personally, yes,
if I had a billion dollars true, true, you know
that on a budget wouldn't be so hard. You're not
going to your local costume shop and getting some tucky
decorations like this is. I mean, I can already see

it in my mind, particularly all the greenery, Like I
think that's what people were expecting, that she would go
to some location that had that naturally, but she has
the means to bring that inside. So with the eras
tour you were able to see how she was able
to transform those sets into different worlds, so she probably thought, like,
I know the best people in the business to be
able to do this well. As we touched on earlier,

Adam even dropped details on what the bride and groom wore,
so he wrote a few violins and cellos USh it
in the wedding party headlined by handsome Travis in a
white tux and a jaw dropping tailor in a stunning
white dress with a long veiled train, we need to
saw details on the dress as well as For Adam Sandler,
it was a bit weird because he didn't actually specifically

name him, but just said he was funny, welcoming, and eloquent.
He also described the vows as long, entertaining, personal, charming, emotional, irreverent,
and an endearing exploration of how they met and why
they wanted to be with each other for a teen
I've heard the vows went for twenty minutes each, so
forty minutes in total. But who wouldn't want to listen

to that? I actually saw the cutest meme and it
said I hope Travis Kelsey enjoys growing old with Taylor
Swift as much as we enjoyed growing up with her.
You know what, usually it is a bit of a
no no to have like a really long speech and vows.
But if you're Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey, everyone's hanging
off everything. That's my favorite bit of the wedding. I'm like, oh,
(32:25):
I like rub my hands together. I'm like, let's hear
what they're gonna say. And also, do you think Adam
Sandler had the job? Because when you get married by
a celebrant, they get your vows beforehand and they go,
mm okay, add a little bit more or this, does
you know yours is a little bit too joky? Like
do you think that they matched up? Because how much
pressure was on Travis Kelcey to nail these vow That's
(32:47):
what I was gonna say. I don't think Taylor would
have needed any help, but perhaps there was someone from
Taylor's team kind of coaching Travis on what to write. Now,
Adam added, what was clear above all else was simply
this their profound love. This is no small love, each
at the absolute pinnacle of their worlds, each so obviously
head over heels about having found their soul mate. I
(33:08):
thought that was such a lovely way to put it. Now,
when Taylor and Travis were named husband and wife, Adam
described their kiss as a sweep you off your feet kiss,
so you can just imagine that, and he said that
the party then started with lots of music, superb food
and drink. As for the entertainment, he added, it was music, music, music,
and finished by saying, I wish you all could have
been there with me to witness real, pure true joy.

I mean me too, Adam, me too well. Also, TMZ
and our reporting that Travis Kelcey was in tears throughout
Taylor Swiss vows Branston and your husband, Sophie would like
to hear this because he was. He was tiary the
whole time. If we're drawing more soon, sweat because maybe
Travis Kelsey so many parallels, aren't there. According to Demire

as well, apparently the whole room was in tears when
Taylor gave her speech because she recalled how she once
wondered if love would ever happen to her after people
spent years saying her life was too much. Everyone's like, babe,

so jealous of this seventeen year old guy, Adam that
got to sit front row at this. But I love

that he's given his rundown of events. I think if
I had a wedding, I think I'd like him to,

One of the guests gave us an insight into what
was on the table at the wedding. So Country singer
More and Morris shared a photo of a napkin edged
in lace and embroidered with the two Te's intertwined in hearts,

and alongside it was the wedding date, the location, and
a line from blank space. So on the napkin it read,
so It's going to be forever. I love that. I
think some people will say, oh, this turkey to incorporate
her own lyrics and whole self indulgent, But I mean
so many millennials have had Taylor's songs as part of
their weddings and a special moment. I mean, she wrote
(34:57):
the fucking wedding. But Travis Eli, who was a fan
of Taylor, Swift. He was at her concert and then
called out and said he wanted to meet her. Maybe
he asked to have that, And you know, people are saying, oh,
how self indulgent for Taylor to walk down the aisle
to her own song. It's like, maybe Travis Kelsey requested that.
Surely they would have had to have friendship bracelets as
Bomber area. I feel like Taylor Swift would be a
(35:18):
bride that would have hand written every guest some special
note on their table. I know there were a thousand people,
but she is so dedicated to like there was this
whole thing. I know it was ten years ago when
she was buying fans Christmas presents and writing personalized notes
like I feel like she would definitely do that. I
saw all these pap shots of the last celebrities to
(35:38):
leave the wedding, and I just thought that would have
been me. If I was invited. He would have had
to drag me out. Who wasn't so well? Apparently Sabrina Carpet, Kesha,
the Chainsmokers, Avril Levine, and Tate McCray. Apparently they all
stayed like doing karaoke, and how iconic would have this ed?
Like do they do karaoke to their own songs. It's
(35:58):
just like Sabrina carf to go over all. I'm going
to have a little go at skater boy, you can
do expresso like I wonder if they only could do
Taylor Swift carryok no, no, s okay. You touched on
the fact that they were personalized number plates going on.
What was pretty cute because Travis and Taylor left in
a red seventies Chevy sports car with the just married
on the back, and this was a throwback to the
(36:20):
car that Travis drove Taylor in after her first Chiefs
game back in September twenty twenty three, and it was
infamously touted as their getaway car. So I think that
that is a really beautiful touch. What I want to
know is how did they get the car out of
there with the newlyweds in it. Everyone could have heard
the cans rattling as it. I'm surprised they actually didn't
do that. I mean, that would have been a really
(36:40):
cute shot the paparazzi getting that. I mean, Taylor wouldn't
have been in the wedding dress that she walked down
the aisle. She could have you know, she would have
been in a going away outfit. The type of vibe. Well,
the exit everyone's talking about is Taylor's caterer is leaving.
Have you guys seen this TikTok that he drove out
and started handing out boxes of cakes to the crowd.
There's been a video on tick which has gone absolutely
(37:01):
viral of a man taking out one of the desserts
and eating it. The issue for Taylor Swift now is
that people are drawing comparisons between Mary Antoinette and Taylor
Swift because they're saying this is a very let them
eat cake moment. The fact that they were even handing
out bits of cake during this time, I wonder she
improved it well. One TikToker sum this up very well.

I honestly don't think there's anything that summarizes the United
States better right now than Taylor Swift and Travis Kelcey,
a billionaire and a millionaire getting married in a stadium.
Shutting down public infrastructure on the fourth of July weekend
during this administration, which they've been very very quiet about.
Around the two hundred and fiftieth of the USA, surrounded

by the elite and by police. I honestly could not
create a better icon for the Hunger Games reality in
which we live. If I tried. It's art. It is
high art, or rather it would be if it was
being done in irony, but it's not. It's been played
totally straight, and that's what's sending me. It is so dystopian.

I was like, this is a black mirror episode. This
is also where the literacy crisis kicks in, because honestly,
they could have let them eat cake plastered on the
side of that venue and people would be like, Oh,
they're having cake. They want us to have cake too,
Let's go and buy cake.

Taylor's version, as much as I hate to say, he
kind of does a point. Like some of the optics
of this. I don't know whether they were thought about
by her PR team. She probably had no idea that
the caterers were going to go handing out bits of
cake and pastries to everybody fair. This man's holding a Danish.
Maybe they didn't like the optics of the caterers tossing
out all the food in a dunster that could be visible,

have some cake. Everyone was standing out the front were
literally fans wearing wedding dresses, Like, can you imagine how
exciting it would have been to be given a piece
of desertion the wedding? Because I was thinking I would
have held onto this true been Like you know when
people keep the fruitcake for years, they freeze that they
bring out a slice. You would have that Danish. It

would have been like in a museum or something. Well,
what do you think about JJ saying that Taylor and
Travis perfectly sum up the state of the US at
the moment. I just think that people are hating on
them for the sake of hating on them. Again, I
am the biggest fan of Taylor Swift, Absolutely love that woman.
But he does make some pretty good points about the
fact that the wedding's on July fourth weekend, Like everything

is just so over the top patriotic people just like,
can we just let Taylor Swift have her wedding? Like
what we does enjoy anything? I saw Steph Smith getting
a lot of backlash after she posted a video sort
of saying, look, can we just let her enjoy your day?
Like people are just jealous? And I think it was
the term you're just jealous, and while I think it
(39:48):
is a lot more complex in terms of the state
of America at the moment, all of these dystopian vibes, however,
I think was leading to a lot of criticism from
Taylor Swift fans is the fact that everyone desperately wanted
to go to this wedding, and then when you see
a listers like Brad Pitt and Hugh Grant and you know,
all those people there, You're like, hang on, Taylor Swift,
(40:09):
I thought she was one of us. Well, it's a
very elite of the lead, isn't it. Yeah, she's not
one of us. And then you know, I mean, obviously
she's not. She's the biggest celebrity in the world. And
then people also think that they know better than Taylor Swift.
They go, oh, no, we know her so well that
this isn't the wedding that she wanted. But this is
the wedding that she wanted, because this is the wedding
that she put on, so let's respect it and celebrate it.

I also think it didn't help that they actually affected
the lives of so many New Yorkers, though, and the
way that people use social media now, so many people
were able to air their grievances in real time, and
you kind of felt sorry for them because you've all
been in a situation where you are in the heat
and you've been fucked over or like some inconvenient thing
like somo thing too that you're like, I'm sitting here
(40:53):
sweltering and all these A list celebrities at this party
that I was giving my left arm to go to.
Is that a social thing? You think she's one of us?
It's like it couldn't be highlighted any further. You know,
she's reached billionaire status, she's the most successful female artist
in history. You know, she had all these people at
a concert, like you couldn't have it any more obvious.
But she does it so well. It's a little bit
(41:13):
like Molly Mate. She plays that related with Lily Cards
so well. And it's like, is this the final tree pains?
Like fuck, We're gonna have to release some photos of
her cats or something at the ceremony to normalize it.
All I want to know is, well, now we're getting
the photos because I'm hungry for them, and I mean surely,
like it's not the typical case of where your photographer
not having time to edit up a couple of shots,
like fucking get onto it. Well, I've seen some theories
(41:33):
floating around online that this was so public because it's
actually being filmed for a docuseriies on Disney Plus. Do
you think that could be the case? Look, never say never.
I didn't think they were going to get married at
Madison Square Garden, so I have no idea what these
two are doing. I kind of would like to think not.
I think it's kind of say it's a private moment,

but there were a thousand people there, so who knows,
Maybe they will ever hold I'm desperate to see the vision.
Is this the spin off of what was that? Catching Kelsey?

year old guy, maybe the reason he put that on
Twitter or X or whatever is because he's going to
be rolling out cinemas potentially. Look, that's the Easter Egg.

They are the American royal family. It's good enough for
the Brits. It should be good enough for Taylor. No,
but this just reminds me of the Kardashian's wedding. Yeah,
they do that. That is crossing line. That is tacky. Well,
I think that's why we're going to leave things for today.
