Phil talks about how the resilience community needs to mature in vendor continuity – moving to the use of quantitative questions to assess vendor capability versus qualitative; elevating BC and ITDR by tying everything to the products and services being delivered to the customer as the starting point, instead of the processes that the business performs; using planning and training to build muscle memory that will allow you to follow the adage of ‘respond in minutes, recover in hours’; and, the positive behavioral changes that may come about in tangential areas, like wage equality, based on the learnings the pandemic is providing in terms of role flexibility across genders.
