Just Don't Quit

She grew up in California surrounded by chaos—drugs, drinking, and brokenness long before she ever reached her teenage years. By ten, she was smoking her mother’s marijuana; by high school, she was lost in the same darkness she had watched destroy others. But through it all, God kept placing light in her path—one quiet, consistent friend who never changed, never compromised, and never stopped inviting her to church.

When she finally walked through those church doors at nineteen, her life began to turn. It wasn’t instant, and it wasn’t easy. There were setbacks, battles, and moments of anger toward the very God who was rescuing her. But she never stopped coming. She kept showing up, kept praying, and kept believing that grace would hold her until she could stand on her own.

Forty years later, she can look back and see what God was doing all along—shaping her story into a message for others who are still fighting to stay.
