Earlier this year the Elevate 2025 Slate took over the Williamson County GOP during their reorganization. It was a huge upset to the establishment and was celebrated by grassroots organizers across the state.
Now, the political season is starting to ramp up. There's a special election for Congressman Mark Green's seat, the General Assembly just passed a slew of new laws (like one keeping Primaries open), and they've also failed to pass some others (Like True Constitutional Carry). Immigration enforcement is a big deal, too. How is the new Williamson County GOP reacting? What direction do they plan to take the party?
