Janie McKirgan is the executive director of the Jimmy Stewart Museum and she has a task ahead of her, generating enthusiasm in a museum you can't go to. Closed because of the Covid-19 stay at home order. All of this has happened on the eve of the museum's 25th anniversary. How is Janie coping? What is she working on during this time of social distancing? Has she snuck in late at night to experience a "night at the museum" moment? What is her favorite Jimmy Stewart movie? We answer all of this and more with this Covid Conversation.
Over the coming weeks we'll meet with artists, museum directors, even the general manager of professional sports team. Please subscribe to PGH Museums on Youtube, or our PGH Art Talk podcast so you don't miss a thing!
