Welcome to the Healthy Lifestyle Solutions podcast weekly show. I'm your host Maya Acosta. Every week we will feature guests who are either physicians, dietitians, health coaches, or chefs who will tell us about their journeys towards becoming plant-based and how they have now helped others. Every now and then we will feature testimonies by individuals who have seen significant changes in their own lives. The episodes typically run between 40-50 minutes and are released early in the week. Sometimes we will also add bonus episodes in Spanish if our guests are bilingual. For 20 years, Sarah Delashmit told people around her that she had cancer, muscular dystrophy, and other illnesses. She used a wheelchair and posted selfies from a hospital bed.
