Whale Tails, Tea Trays, Tacos and Ducktails

In today’s PorscheCooled Podcast Michael wants Steve to say his new appointed catch phrase but he is not playing along. Speaking of friends with multiple Porsches Steve reckons he only has one – ‘can you really count the Macan as a Porsche’. Moving along to real Porsches then and the iconic feature we all remember from our first Porsche memories – wings. Porsche wings, you either love or hate, but form does follow function. Michael and Steve have decided that Porsche wings is the main chat topic this week. Sure, there is the 993 Turbo fixed wing, the beautifully designed 959 wing and the whale and ducktail. Nevertheless, Steve reckons we sometimes forget about how special the retractable wing on the Carrera really is. A 911 signature and instantly recognisable to most as a Porsche if not a 911. What else – well the 992.2 is coming as is the new 911 Safari. Plus, a whole lot more.
