at Bondai Beach in Australia is a warning sign to
our country if we don't crack down on anti Semitic

much more. Is Shahar Azani, former spokesperson at the Israeli

reaction to that horrific attack and what the message is
to the rest of the world.

Thank you, Rita for having me. It's always a pleasure
to be with you, with all of our listeners. You know,
what can I say? The heart sinks. You know, it
feels like an attack on your family, It feels like
an attack on yourself. It takes me back to October seventh,
when we know that at the end of the day,
this anti Semitic hatred, deep animosity targets at all and

just as much as it was all of these, you know,
the Nova festival goers or the people, the innocent people
living on the towns and villages were attacked, and our
community members in Sydney, at Bondai Beach and Australia. It
could have been each and every one of us, and
the fact that such evil exists in our world is
deeply saddening. The extent of the massacre, the understanding that
(01:39):
for ten whole minutes Rita, they were hunting down Jews,
killing innocent children, Holocaust survivors, you know, people who just
came to celebrate the lighting of the first candle of
Hanukah is deeply troubling and saddening. And might I say
not just for me as a Jewish Man, is an Israeli,
(02:02):
as an American, as a human being, but I think
for each and every one of us as individuals who
see the existence of such evil that has been allowed
to go rampant in such a way the way they
did it in Australia.

It is absolutely horrific when we see what happened there
and to hear some of the details. First off, obviously
it's a father and son and the son had some
ties to an Isis cell and they found an ISIS
flag in their vehicle. What does that say to you
that shouldn't I mean, the guy had six guns. Apparently
(02:37):
he got them legally through hunting. And you know, the
Prime Minister keeps pointing to gun control, but yet there
was a guy with ISIS ties and they said, oh,
he was just a low level threat.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
Yeah, you know the hunting. Indeed, hunting he did, but
not the hunting that we thought they were going to do.
And I think this is a huge wake up poll
for all of us to wake up and realize the
threats against us. What we've said continuously, and you've heard
me Rita say this many times, what starts with the
Jews never ends with the Jews. Look at Europe now
(03:09):
with barricading Christmas markets, realizing that there is a potential
risk there of radicalized people. The solution is not to
chase an individual who purchased a gun for whatever purpose
they did, if they are on a watch list or not.
The response is to wake up. When people stood in
the Sydney Harbor on October tense of twenty twenty three,
(03:32):
meal days after the massacre of thousands of innocent Israelis
and they chanted, if you remember Rita gas the Jews.
What kind of action have we seen from the Australian government. None.
What have we seen in Australia in the last couple
of years since that atrocious attack, When synagogues in Sydney
have been firebombed, when restaurants are under Jewish ownership have

been vandalized, powers outside Jewish homes have been forged, and
we've seen the anti Semitic graffiti that has become ubiquitous
all over Sysney, especially around Bondai Beach, that says kill
the Jews. And what has been done. Nothing. Every weekend
we have seen these anarchists supposedly pro Palestine that really

pro Hamas intimidating, chanting their evil slogans, chanting globalize the Intifada,
What does it mean globalized being TOI Fada, Globalized the
Intifada means exactly what we've seen as Bondai Beach. It
means violence against innocent Jews and killing and murder and naming.
That's what's been chanted around the streets. Now we've seen
(04:40):
zero action from the Australian government to the contrary. Not
only was there no enforcement on the side of the
police and the government. Vida vidis hooligans. We've seen Australia
recognizing a Palestinian state blowing winds in the sales of
this atrocious campaign, telling Hamas and others that your intimidation
is working. May you continue to do so the results

we've all seen in Bondaid. So, with all the respect,
Prime Minister Albanize is not going to excuse his responsibility
by lighting a bath and body work scandal on his
window and claiming that it's an issue of gun control.
And there is a message right here for New York.
This is a clear warning for the mayor elects of
the City of New York, mister Mamdani who refuses to

denounce globalize the Intifada. When you stand by words like
globalized the Intifada in the city that's heavily populated jewishly
as New York, you are taking a huge risk that
what we've seen as a father and son radical Islamic
activity of going hunting for duds make God forbid, God's
forbid return to become a reality in the city of

New York. And mister mayor be warned, if you don't
stand against it, you're just as complicit in this horrendous
crime if God's forbid, God forbid it happens.

You up a great point, char Her, because Mundani's silence
has been very apparent throughout this incident and also other incidents,
and it's similar to what we've seen some of the
silence and these other countries where we're seeing a rise
of anti Semitism. You can't just ignore it, right, I
mean they seem to think you can either in Albanese's

case almost ignore it and knock cracked down. And Mundani's case.
You know, it's so troubling, Yes, exactly, it's so trouble act.

We supported he was. This is a politician who was
bred in the indoctri factory of indoctrination, of hatred, animosity,
somebody who refused to take back any of his ill
statements against the State of Israel and against what the
Jewish community wholeheartedly believes and stands for. And when we
talk about the Australian government, you know what I remember,

I remember Risa that last year the Australian Foreign Minister
Penny Wong visited the region, came to visit the Gaza area,
but refused refused to visit the site of the October
seventh massacres in Israel. Why why why wouldn't she go
and pay or respect to innocent people who die at

the music festival and in their homes, raped, named, and
murdered because they're Jewish. I think that says a lot
about where that government stands. And I think that we
here as Americans should be very wary because the same
ideology that is targeting the Jewish community is targeting us
as Americans, is targeting our society, is targeting the foundation

of who we are as a democracy, and it's timely.
Waight up, you know, I want to tell you something.
If you don't address the problem. Prime Minist's Albanize when
he was pressurized to appoint a special Envoy against anti Semitism,
do you know what he did. He immediately established an
envoyd to fight Islamophobia, even though the attacks in Australia
have been targeting mostly Jews, in order to maintain some

sort of balance. I think it's time to shed the
lies of politically correct. I think it's time to look
reality in the eye. I think it's time to call
evil by its name and stand up to it, or
it will devour us as a society. Do we want
to be able to celebrate Christmas. Do Christians in New
York and the United States want to continue to be
able to celebrate Christmas in a Christian way and say

the word Jesus out loud. If you do, and if
you do value your freedom. Now is the time to rise,
raise your voice, act and stand up to this danger
or it's going to come up to you.

Yeah. No, it's it's a powerful point, Shahar. You know
the other thing too. You brought up the you know,
supporting the Palestinian state at a time where things are
still so tenuous with Hamas it is rewarding terrorism, and
Australia did it, Canada did it, France did.

It, and send the clear message to Hamas that that's
the way to go. Now, let's acknowledge reality. There was
a Palestinian state in effect between Israel's withdraw from Gaza
in two thousand and five and Hamasa's murderous genocidal campaign
in the attack of October seventh. What did they do

with that opportunity? Rita, When Israelis were hoping that Palestinians
will take advantage of this opportunity and build the proper infrastructure,
create a society that's worthy show us to the world,
to themselves and to the entire world that they are
capable of having a state, of managing a state. The
result was billions of dollars that came from Qatar, billions

of dollars that came from the donor countries, from your pocket, rita,
from the pocket of the ordinary American taxpayer that sent
donations to support the Palestinian and it went directly to
build a massive, massive network of tunnels that Israel has
been systematically dismantling in the past couple of years, a
huge infrastructure of terror. It emiserated and killed Israel. It's

emiserated and killed Palestinians, and it needs to stop now
that equivocation. That's reality in which because in the name
of political correctness, we support error directly, whether in funding
or in moral support. And political support has to end
now because the cost is going to be our lives.

What about also in colleges, to Shaharazani, because that continues,
the anti Semitism clearly continues on so many college campuses.
Has there really been any improvement?

Well, you know, Cutar, the notion of the moves and
brotherhoods and others have been pouring millions and millions and
millions of dollars into the minds and hearts of American
college students out there. Their minds have been poisoned, their
hearts have been poisoned. They utter few nonsense without even
realizing what the world around them is and what it
(10:55):
looks like, what the challenges are. And it's quite worrying.
And I think that this is a moment where we
really have to secure our future because one of the
mistakes that Israel has made is exactly that it's looking
away realizing that the mal education of Palestinians is an issue,
but it was placed as let's say, point number five
(11:16):
or six on the agenda instead of it being point
number one. The fact that Israel allows for the poisoning
of the minds of Palestinians in Gaza under Tamasi's indoctrination,
under genocide and Nazi like policies has brought about a
reality in which young Palestinians went out and committed atrocities
worse than those committed by the Nazis. Now what's happening
(11:38):
in the States. We are allowing for the same kind
of poisoning in the name of endowments and shares and money,
the funnel to the American college campuses on behalf of
these evil dictatorial regimes who attacked the hearts and minds
of our younger generation, trying to guarantee that the very
same kids, our kids, will will rise again, our culture
(12:01):
will see the United States as an evil agent in
the world, And sadly, we're seeing it all over, not
just when it comes to Israel. We're seeing it in
the flock exposed today by the FBI, the cell that's
planned on executing Eric's attack on New Year's Eve in
the Los Angeles area, and the same cell being pro
Palestinian an anti American. These two risa go hand in hand,
(12:25):
and that's why what you're mentioning now, Rita, this incredible
danger has to be tended to immediately. Education stands at
the core of our survival, not just weapons.

You know, one of the things is you brought up to.
It's sort of the Green and the Red Revolution, right,
I mean, it's sort of like the two of them
are joining forces. And in fact, in that Los Angeles bust,
they found a Palestinian flag and they were saying death
to America, death to Ice sight. How I mean it
really is. I almost feel like we're at the verge
(12:58):
of something really dangerous. I mean, we're already there, but
I feel like it's going to get worse sadly before
we're going to get better. What do you think.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
I think I'm actually more encouraged than not, because we
already paid a dear price when it comes to coping
with these issues. But I think what we're seeing here
is unmasking. We are seeing where people, what people really are,
where they really stand, and once we're able to expose
our enemies, we are able to fight them. As long
as they were underground, it was much more difficult to
(13:29):
contend with them. But in this case, imagine that the
same people who perpetrated the attack against the Jewish community
in Sydney were the same people who chanted and marched
enchanted gas the Jews back on October tenth. Imagine had
they been taken care of them, we would not have
seen this attack. In this case, what we're seeing is
(13:51):
all of these people their position has been unmasked, their position,
their anti Semitic position, their hateful position against the United States.
It gives us the chance to act against them. Now
it's up to us. The illness is on us to
act against them and not keep it as another Oh
that's not too bad. They haven't killed anyone, and wait
(14:12):
until God forbid something happens. We have a chance to
act and we had better season.

And finally, Shahar, you know how important is leadership from
the very top, because boy, it's night and day. At
least to have President Trump, who is very stalwart in
his support of israel I. Think about this moment that
we're seeing already in the world. Imagine if we had
somebody who was waffling on on, you know, their support
of israel I. Mean, I think about all the comments
(14:39):
Biden made about throwing almost essentially net Yahoo under the
bus in one of the most dire moments in the
war against Gaza. So where how important is that message
all the way from the top?
Speaker 2 (14:53):
I think it's quite evident, Rita, that as far as
President Trump's leadership, we have seen the attitude of real politique,
of looking reality in the eye and not lying to
yourself in telling yourself convenient life that fit your political belief.
When it comes to the president, he was able to
put his foot down puts the supporters of the Muslim
(15:14):
Brotherhood Kakar and Turkey to stand next to him in
Washington in the White House and be able to release
the remaining hostages in the hands of Hamas. I don't
think there was anyone who believed that Hamas would reach
a point in which they will release all of these
living hostages and almost all of the deceased ones, with
(15:35):
one tending still run Guilli, who is still held by
Hamas and Gaza. And I think that in doing so,
the President has shown that there is merit to looking
reality in the eye and acknowledging it. And I think
that's a huge lesson across the board, and he deserves
all the credit for such policy, not only when it
comes to Israel, but also the immediate impact on how
(15:56):
the United States of America is perceived in the region,
by Iran, by the Middle Eastern countries, and by the world.
I don't think that you can compare the way the
US is perceived now to the way it's been perceived
in yours past. And that is a great in great
credit to the President's foreign policy.

with these issues. But I think what we're seeing here
is unmasking. We are seeing where people, what people really are,
where they really stand, and once we're able to expose
our enemies, we are able to fight them. As long
as they were underground, it was much more difficult to
(13:29):
contend with them. But in this case, imagine that the
same people who perpetrated the attack against the Jewish community
in Sydney were the same people who chanted and marched
enchanted gas the Jews back on October tenth. Imagine had
they been taken care of them, we would not have
seen this attack. In this case, what we're seeing is
(13:51):
all of these people their position has been unmasked, their position,
their anti Semitic position, their hateful position against the United States.
It gives us the chance to act against them. Now
it's up to us. The illness is on us to
act against them and not keep it as another Oh
that's not too bad. They haven't killed anyone, and wait
(14:12):
until God forbid something happens. We have a chance to
act and we had better season.
Speaker 1 (14:17):
And finally, Shahar, you know how important is leadership from
the very top, because boy, it's night and day. At
least to have President Trump, who is very stalwart in
his support of israel I. Think about this moment that
we're seeing already in the world. Imagine if we had
somebody who was waffling on on, you know, their support
of israel I. Mean, I think about all the comments
(14:39):
Biden made about throwing almost essentially net Yahoo under the
bus in one of the most dire moments in the
war against Gaza. So where how important is that message
all the way from the top?
Speaker 2 (14:53):
I think it's quite evident, Rita, that as far as
President Trump's leadership, we have seen the attitude of real politique,
of looking reality in the eye and not lying to
yourself in telling yourself convenient life that fit your political belief.
When it comes to the president, he was able to
put his foot down puts the supporters of the Muslim
(15:14):
Brotherhood Kakar and Turkey to stand next to him in
Washington in the White House and be able to release
the remaining hostages in the hands of Hamas. I don't
think there was anyone who believed that Hamas would reach
a point in which they will release all of these
living hostages and almost all of the deceased ones, with
(15:35):
one tending still run Guilli, who is still held by
Hamas and Gaza. And I think that in doing so,
the President has shown that there is merit to looking
reality in the eye and acknowledging it. And I think
that's a huge lesson across the board, and he deserves
all the credit for such policy, not only when it
comes to Israel, but also the immediate impact on how
(15:56):
the United States of America is perceived in the region,
by Iran, by the Middle Eastern countries, and by the world.
I don't think that you can compare the way the
US is perceived now to the way it's been perceived
in yours past. And that is a great in great
credit to the President's foreign policy.
