Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, we are back
today for Publishing Black Radio
Show.
I am your host, tiffany AGreenhood, so I have so much to
unpack today in this 30 minuteshow.
Okay, so first I want to thankyou guys for listening and I'm
fairly new to the Rejoice 102family and I love being here.
(00:23):
So again, this is PublishingBlack black radio show and so
I'm gonna jump it off with umsome promo today, because you
know what I was so into our lastshow if you were with us last
Tuesday at 12 noon, it was justwhen I come on.
I talked about anthologies.
That's my favorite topic and Ithink I got just a little bit
(00:44):
carried away.
So I'm going to do a part twotoday on anthologies.
But first I want to kind ofintroduce myself again and give
you guys some information aboutwho I am, what I do, why I do it
and how to work with me,because some of you all who have
been listening you may have abook.
(01:06):
You may not know what to dowith it.
It may have been sitting andall that good stuff.
So I want to get started with.
I am once again Tiffany AGreenhood.
I am a publisher, coach, brandstrategist and all around smart
girl.
I just I've been calling myselfsmart girl like the last six
months because I'm extremelysmart and resourceful, but my
(01:29):
main, main thing is publishing, self publishing.
So I show you how to take yourbook, your story, your message
and turn it into six figures ormore.
But you got to be willing to dothe work, so I want to talk
about that.
So that's what I do.
I have a magazine, publishingblack magazine dot com.
(01:51):
You can feel free to go to thewebsite.
I use that magazine to marketblack authors.
It is so many black authors outhere who we don't know of.
We have not, you know, we don'tknow anything about their book.
You know, one thing I see thatour community lacks is how to
(02:12):
market your book, how to marketyour message, and so that's what
I'm here to do.
And so we have Publishing BlackMagazine.
We have now the PublishingBlack Radio Show.
I also have a podcast.
How do you access that?
Go to publishinblackpodcastcom.
So if you are to miss any of myTuesday shows live at the
(02:37):
station, you can always click onpublishwithtiffanycom.
Everything about me is there.
So there's a link for thepodcast.
There's a link for the magazine.
There is a if you would like towork with me specifically for
your project.
You can go topublishwithtiffanycom and click
(02:57):
on discovery call.
You can book a discovery callwith me.
Now I'm gonna tell you I offertwo different options for
discovery calls.
One is to find out pricing andservices.
Okay, because sometimes peoplewant something a little
customized and I do put togethercustomized packages and then
you may just want a strategycall then.
(03:21):
So then you would then book theum exclusive discovery call
with me.
That's where you come with yourpen, your notebook and your
questions.
Ask me anything.
That's your time to ask meanything.
So I offer a couple differentum options.
And then don't forget to this, you know, scroll down when you
go to the publish withtiffanycom.
(03:42):
I have several digital productsthere that can help you with
your business marketingstrategies, just different
blueprints that I put togetherto help you in your journey.
Okay, because, let's just behonest, we were not most of us
were not educated on how tomarket our businesses, how to
market our books, how to marketour businesses, how to market
(04:04):
our books, how to market ourmessage, how to just market us.
Okay, we were taught topurchase and be the be the
shopper, but we were not taughtto position ourselves as the
business.
So that's kind of what I takecare of, and I don't just work
with authors If you have abusiness and you want to start
making money of, and I don'tjust work with authors if you
(04:25):
have a business and you want tostart making money online and
you don't know how I handle thatas well.
Okay, so I just wanted to do alittle housekeeping and tell you
guys a little bit about what Ihave going on.
I am also launching I'll beofficially announcing it in June
, but I am launching my ownchamber of commerce.
(04:48):
Yeah, I know it sounds reallyoff the wall, because it is.
I'm launching my own chamber ofcommerce.
It's going to be published inBlack Chamber of Commerce, and
so, for those who are familiarwith what a chamber of commerce
does, most cities have them, ok,but this one will be for black
(05:13):
self-published authors, and so Iam so excited about this
because it's never been done.
It's never been done before, but guess what?
I was born to do it, so staytuned for more information on
that.
Yeah, it's already beenofficially launched.
(05:38):
I have not announced it.
This is like my first timeannouncing it publicly, but stay
tuned for that I am finishingup the website, and so it's
going to be awesome, y'all, because I feel like black
authors need a place to come tonot just show me how to sell my
book, sell my book but toactually give you the tools that
(05:58):
you need to run the business,to market yourself
professionally.
So that's, you know, chamber ofCommerce.
Most of them are created forbusinesses, their local
businesses.
So I'm not going to be localbecause it's going to be
national.
So you can live in any state, any city, as long as you got a
book and you want to learn howto sell it, that will be for you
(06:22):
.
So stay tuned for that.
So now we're going to hop rightin over to the anthology part
two.
So if you missed last week'sepisode, feel free to go to
publishingblackpodcastcom andyou can listen to the entire
episode last week where westarted talking about
anthologies.
How to what did I title that?
(06:44):
How to make 50 to 100K withyour book without writing a word
.
That was my title last week.
Okay, so if you missed that, you want to go back and listen
to that.
But we're going to do a parttwo because I didn't.
It was so much information and, like I said, this is my favorite
topic, so I want to just chimein on a couple of things you
(07:07):
know.
So I showed you guys how totake one book, publish a book
each quarter OK, and it'sperfect for pastors, churches,
leaders, evangelists, whateveryour title is you can do this
and if you especially if youalready have a community okay.
So you're going to take um onebook and publish it.
(07:29):
You're going to publish a bookfor each quarter of the year.
All you need is 25 people.
You charge a thousand dollarsfor them to be a part of your
anthology.
Come up with an amazing themeadult cover and go for go for it
.
$1,000 with 25,000 people givesyou what 25.
I mean with 25 people gives you$25,000.
(07:50):
That's 50 K, and 50 K thatequals the 100 K.
So that goes back to what mytitle is.
Yes, I just showed you how tomake a hundred K without writing
a word, because that is goingto be your instant marketing
team, your instant writing team, all that good stuff.
So that's what we talked aboutlast week.
But I want to go over some ofthe benefits that you can offer
(08:13):
your co authors if you arelooking to put together an
anthology.
So we got, creatingopportunities for increase.
Okay, you are creating authors, published authors and publishers
.
An author is not just an author.
When they write their own story, you know you can write your
chapter in a notebook, right, you are an author.
(08:36):
That copyright belongs to you, even if it's on a notebook or a
napkin or paper towel, okay.
But once you become a publishedauthor, that's when you go
public, that's when you know youofficial, you official,
official, for real.
Okay, anytime you publish abook and you make it available
to the public, that isofficially being published.
(08:57):
It has nothing to do withAmazon.
I know y'all didn't know that,but I'm again, I'm here to set
the record straight, okay, so,um, um, also, you are.
So you're not just creatingauthors and publishers, you're
creating another income streamand a product.
Let's be clear a book period,it's a product.
It's a product.
So, for those of y'all thathave books and they sitting
(09:20):
around, or you publish it andyou put it to the side because
you figured what?
Nobody buying books, no more.
Shame on you, shame on you.
Okay, because, um, a book is anentire product and it is made to
sell.
It's made to create income.
So we're not going to continueto publish books and then sit it
(09:46):
on the shelf, let it collect usand talk about how nobody's
spending money with us.
They're not spending moneybecause you're not presenting it
, okay, so let me leave you withthat.
They're not spending moneybecause you're not presenting it
.
You have no commercials, and Idon't mean spending money, I
mean you're not online.
Social media is free, okay, sowe have to Condition our mindset
(10:10):
to sell, and I'm going to leaveyou with that and we're going
to go to break Lord.
Speaker 2 (10:48):
I need to feel the
touch of your hand, your will
for my life.
I want to understand, lord, forgive me like only you can,
(11:12):
for you're the God of a secondchance.
Lord, I'm tired of the way thatI am.
If you love, I want to live, stand To heed to your every
(11:42):
command, for you're the God ofall sacrifices, for you're the
God of second.
Just so be All of my wrongs, all of my wrongs, forgive me.
(12:11):
Forgive me.
Forgive me and make me strong.
And make me strong.
Oh, save me.
Save me, lord, restore my soul.
For you, the God of a secondchance, you are the God of a
(12:34):
second chance.
You are the God of a secondchance.
Show me, show me everything.
I'm gonna run, then I'll pullmy shirt off.
Bless me, forgive me, take meback, oh Lord.
(12:57):
Oh, save me, restore the joy,for you are the God of our
salvation.
You gave me A second chance.
You gave me God I thank you forit A second chance.
(13:23):
You forgave me.
You forgave me.
I told you you could.
Nobody can love me like youlove me.
You gave me A thing gone for asecond time.
A second time, oh, oh, oh, oh,oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
(13:46):
oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
oh.
I didn't even deserve it all.
You kept on loving me, keep onforgiving me.
You gave me love, oh Lord.
You took me to the second time.
(14:11):
You gave me up.
You gave me up.
Second chance, second chance.
You gave me up.
You gave me up, you purged meup.
That's all that you gave.
Speaker 1 (14:36):
You gave me up.
Okay, we are back.
Don't y'all love that oldschool gospel music?
I love it, I absolutely love it.
So let's talk about it.
Second chance God gives secondchances.
He gives second chances all thetime.
And guess what?
If you are here listening to me, he giving you a second chance
(14:58):
to go ahead and start sellingthat book.
Okay, so go ahead and publishthat book, to go ahead and start
writing a book.
So let me clarify something I donot help you write your book.
I don't do that.
I focus on self publishing yourbook.
I show you what to do with thebook once it's done.
Okay, because that's whateverybody gets stuck in.
(15:21):
Okay, because we didn't know, and I get it, I get it.
I understand starting and notknowing what you're doing.
I understand, I understanddoing it, doing it scared, I get
all that.
But so you know me now.
Okay, so what you need to do isyou need to start and stop
talking about starting.
But start.
(15:42):
Okay, grab a notebook, start, grab your laptop and start.
We spend too much time on ourphones and our devices and we're
not making any money.
Yes, I said it, we're notmaking any money.
Yes, I said it, we're notmaking no money, we're not being
productive, and then wecomplain at the end of the week
or the end of the month or theend of the year Dang, I didn't
(16:03):
get to do this, or dang, Ididn't get to do that, or I
can't afford this.
Stop talking about what youcannot do, because where there's
a will, there's a way,especially with ai.
Now that's another topic.
I am gonna do a show on thattopic, but, yeah, I just want
you to focus right now this show.
Second chance to get it right.
All right.
So we talked about the um, youranthology.
(16:27):
So if you're interested inputting together an anthology, I
didn't talk about it.
I I gave you guys some details.
I gave you the 50k or the 100kblueprint.
If you missed last week'sepisode, go to
publishandblackpodcastcom tolisten to last week's episode.
Okay, so I want to hop right inand talk about something that I
(16:51):
created, because you know whatbeing in the author space, in
the publishing space, since 2007.
Now, I didn't start mypublishing company till 2017, 18
.
Okay, and I've seen so much.
(17:11):
I've seen so many authors thatstruggle.
They struggle because theydon't have the information.
They struggle because theydon't have the mindset.
Okay, and one thing that I'veseen authors do from time to
time authors and entrepreneurs,so you don't even have to have a
book for this one.
I have seen authors take wordsand use words to destroy their
(17:38):
income, the possibilities ofwhat their business can do.
I've seen them take words andjust kind of destroy what they
can possibly have.
So I have some decrees that Iwant to read you guys today to
just kind of inspire you, to getyou to understand that words
are very powerful.
(17:58):
They're very powerful.
The Bible is full of words.
Let's just be real, it's fullof words, and so I have some
decrees specifically for authors.
If you're an author, publisher, coach, any topic, any title in
the literary space, thesedecrees are specifically for you
.
So I just want to read a coupleof these to you.
(18:20):
The first one is I decree.
I am anointed to write, speakand build.
Okay, I carry divine clarity, creativity and confidence.
I am a messenger and my wordswill move people into action,
healing and transformation.
Now, if you need a scripturereference, Isaiah 50 and 4 would
(18:42):
be your scripture reference forthat one.
Okay, these are so powerful.
Y'all.
I was so excited about this andI couldn't wait to share with
you guys.
Here's another one.
I decree my voice is valuable, visible and victorious.
Yes, I reject fear, comparisonand delay.
I rise and release my messagewithout apology.
(19:07):
That part, my audience isalready waiting.
That scripture reference isProverbs 18 and 21.
You can't tell me that's notpowerful.
Y'all Like period.
Start using these decrees.
This is what I want you to do.
Start using decrees like thiswith these words, to speak some
(19:28):
life into your situation.
Okay, so we're not going tokeep saying we can't afford to
do this and we can't afford topublish and we can't afford to
market the book.
Yes, you can, you can't affordit because you keep saying it.
Okay, and I'm going to leaveyou with this last one.
I decree my mind is disciplinedand my vision is clear.
I do not second guess, I do notshrink.
(19:48):
I take bold action toward whatI see in my spirit.
I am focused, fruitful andlaser locked on purpose.
That scripture reference wouldbe Romans 12 and two.
Now, we done had school.
Okay, y'all got the lesson.
Now what you're going to dowith it?
(20:09):
Change your words, change yourwords.
Most people I see in situationsnow that I see clear and I
change mine.
The one thing that hurts you isyour words, and so your book is
going to be made up of words.
We can't write a book withoutwords.
It's not a book without words,words we can't write a book
without words.
It's not a book without words.
(20:29):
So now we can't want to writethis book and want people to
give us their money for it,right, but yet then we turn
around and we use the negativewords to talk down on how
nobody's buying books.
I don't know what to do.
I don't know nobody this, andthat you.
You better get on your phone, your iPad, your laptop, whatever
device you got that you payingfor every month, because
(20:50):
everybody got a phone.
I don't know many people thatdon't have one.
So you're going to get on thatdevice and you're going to
Google.
You're going to use Google, you're going to use AI, and just
about every website offers anAI option now.
So I don't want to hear no moreexcuses.
I don't want to hear no moreexcuses.
I don't, but anyway.
(21:14):
So those decrees were verypowerful.
I wanted to share those withyou guys, and I have a whole PDF
with seven of them that you canuse for your entire week and
start to see some things in yourlife change and your situation
change.
It may be somebody on herethat's actually trying to write
their book and stuck in themiddle of the project.
Now, why you haven't contactedme, I have no idea.
Okay, go topublishwithtiffanycom and book a
(21:36):
discovery call so we can getyou going and you can be
published before 2025 is over, because y'all know we are almost
in June and June will be here, gone and we'll be in December.
So I want you to, I want you to, um, focus on being productive
(21:59):
and not just, you know, hearingit and saying, oh yeah, I'm a,
do this and that.
So you can go and you candownload the PDF with all seven
degrees on my website atpublishwithtiffanycom.
I put that together for you guysbecause it's so powerful and
you gotta start somewhere.
Y'all don't know where to start.
Start with your words, okay, start with your words and change
(22:22):
the way you think, because youhave to think different in order
for these words to be effective.
Anyway, let's just be honestmost people struggle with
whatever they're dealing withbecause of their words.
So, whether it's health,whether it's a family situation,
marriage, whatever it is, it'syour words, okay, so take
(22:43):
control over that and and we'regoing to go to break.
Speaker 2 (23:04):
Any day now is what I
kept telling myself.
On the last mile, on the roadto somewhere I put along the way
, I saw the wind and the rainand, to my surprise, oh, blew my
mind.
So many nights.
(23:30):
I had to hold on for my life, but I survived, I survived, I
survived, I survived, I survived, I survived, I survived.
Oh me, but I'm so glad, oh yeah.
(23:52):
Now, hurt and pain wassometimes my company, separated
from those no guarantees, butone thing.
Separated from those noguarantees, but one thing I knew
for sure I've had my share ofups and downs.
(24:16):
I made it easy, though I've hadto cry.
So many nights I've had to holdon for my life.
I survived, I survived, Isurvived, I survived, I survived
, I survived, I survived, Isurvived.
(24:38):
I'm so glad, I'm so glad.
I know you heard this messagebefore.
I want to tell you once moreit's alright, you will.
(25:00):
I know the road you're on mightseem long, but I encourage you
to hold on, hold on.
Speaker 1 (25:38):
I do believe you will
we are back and we are going to
wrap up this amazing episode.
This was Anthology Part 2, butwe talked about some other
things too that I want me tocome and speak or host a
publishing workshop at yourchurch, at your organization or
(26:12):
your event.
Reach out to me attamediacofirm at gmailcom.
Okay, I'm gonna leave you withthis.
Speak life, write it down, publish it and sell it.
See you, guys next time.
