QSS Ep 39: Bordeaux + Externalizing

DISCUSSIONS DU JOUR:

Today we are intro'ing a NEW APPROACH TO THE WINE SEGMENT… rather than going by varietal, we are now going by REGIONS!

We're basing our little journey through the wine regions of the world on the WSET curriculum, so you can get a sense of what we are learning…

BUT we will also start (next week…) to challenge the system and what certain regions are "supposed to" taste like, by bringing in natural wines to contrast with the more classical expressions… FUN!

 

For this week, it's all about BORDEAUX, FRANCE! Specifically the left bank. We are trying some super classical expressions of red Bordeaux and the sweet white wine Sauternes.

 

In THERAPY…

• We discuss Dan's job search and the idea of choosing a job that helps round out your life.
• We also talk about EXTERNALIZING our fears, feelings & desires… and the importance of taking charge of our own destiny.

ABOUT THE QUE SERA SYRAH PODCAST:

After many consecutive Sunday mornings at the wine bar discussing our wine obsessions and our personal lives, we thought to ourselves… do you think other people might care about this stuff? The answer to that question is still ambiguous. But we recorded a podcast anyway.
