Madame Lorena Anton est anthropologue sociale. Autrefois professeure à l’Université de Bucarest et à l’Université Transylvanien de Brașov en Roumanie, elle est aujourd’hui chercheuse indépendante. Elle est diplômée d’un doctorat en ethnologie de l’Université de Bordeaux et de l’Université de Bucarest pour thèse qui portait sur la mémoire de l’avortement en Roumanie de 1966 à 1989 sous le régime de Nicolae Ceaușescu. Elle a été lauréate de la prestigieuse bourse Marie Curie qui lui a permis d’étudier les politiques de santé publique et les débats sociaux relatifs à la reproduction dans la Roumanie post-communiste. Avec ses collègues, elle a sorti la collection A Fragmented Landscape: Abortion Governance and Protest Logics in Europe (2016) publié en anglais chez les Presses Berghahn.
