Feeder Steers Set All Time High Prices In September 500 Pound and 700 Pound Steer Steers Make History With High PricesThe highest prices ever paid for 5-weight steers have been concentrated in recent weeks, with 8 of the top 10 sales recorded in September 2025. The all-time leader came on September 4th at Enid, OK, where 10 head at 530 pound steers sold for $540.00.

- Palmyra, Missouri at $518.00
- Dunlap, Iowa
- Cherokee, Oklahoma
- La Crosse, Kansas
- Elgin, Nebraska at $512.00
On August 26th, 700 pound steers posted a national weighted average of $387.92, the highest in history.
