Hey, welcome back to RenewedMindsets for the Advent Bible
reading.
We're on day 16.
We'll be in Luke chapter 2,verses 8 through 20.
And I lied to you.

All right, well, I'm just gonna point at you and you

That night there were shepherds staying in the
fields nearby, guarding theirflocks of sheep.
Suddenly an angel of the Lordappeared among them, and the
radiance of the Lord's glorysurrounded them.
They were terrified, but theangel reassured them.
Don't be afraid, he said.
I will bring you good news thatwill bring great joy to all

The Savior, yes, the Messiah,the Lord, has been born today in
Bethlehem, the city of David,and you will recognize him by
this sign.
You will find a baby wrappedsnugly in strips of cloth, lying
in a manger.
Suddenly the angel was joined bya vast host of others, the

armies of heaven, praising Godand saying, Glory to God in
highest heaven, and peace onearth to those with whom God is
pleased.
When the angels had returned toheaven, the shepherds said to
each other, Let's go toBethlehem, let's see this thing
that has happened, which theLord has told us about.
They hurried to the village andfound Mary and Joseph, and there

was the baby lying in themanger.
After seeing him, the shepherdstold everyone what had happened
and what the angel had said tothem about this child.
All who heard the shepherd'sstory were astonished, but Mary
kept all these things in herheart and thought about them
often.
The shepherds went back to theirflocks, glorifying and praising

God for all they had heard andseen.
It was just as the angel hadtold them.
