And who remembers when Jesus said who amongst us without sin,
(01:08):
let him cast the first stone. Of course, that was
a passage from the Bible and catches Mary Magdalene and
an act of ill repute. Everybody was about to stone
her to death, and his words, he who is without sin,
let him cast the first stone. I feel like that's
where we are today. I would contend that we've abandoned
the Christian principle of forgiveness, and too many of us
(01:31):
have doubled down on this unattainable accountability. In fact, it's
a level of justice and accountability that we've honestly never
experienced in this planet or in our lifetimes. I'll say
to you this, whoever's lived a life and you've noticed
how government works, We've never had a system of government
that's devoid of corruption. Right, They've never gotten every last
(01:53):
deep state swamp creature. There's never been a time where
there wasn't corruption. So what we we had was a
time where we were distracted by phishing and sports and
TV networks, Hollywood, other types of entertainment, the media, those
types of things, and we love those things. We love
these illusions, right, We love that Ronald Reagan and Temple
(02:16):
O'Neill were like best friends and bipartisanship was somehow sacrosanct.
It was holier than now. But now the tables have turned.
We feel like we've been awakened, so to speak. We're
trying to wake up others that are still asleep. But
the circumstances remain the same, even though what we see
is a little different. So I'm going to ask you
(02:37):
who amongst us has lived in a world that's free
of corruption, where governments don't fall victim to the plague
of self dealing, self interested, a depraved heart. Just like
every person in our society and every other walk of life,
none of us has lived that way. We should always
seek and fight for the truth, and we should never
abandon the pursuit for justice or accountability. But we shouldn't
(02:59):
fixate ourselves on fabrications of fiction, deluding ourselves into thinking
that corruption can disappear from this life or from this earth. That,
my friends, can only happen in the second coming of Christ.
And until then, we live each day the best we can.
Right with God, God bless Donaldus Magnus, God Bless the
(03:21):
men and women in our armed forces. God bless our
first responders, God bless America. How rich Vael does I
approve this message right? It sounds like a campaign speech,
but I wanted to bring that up because we want
something that we can't have and we still see all
sorts of depravity and then people feel like, hey, but
I thought, but I thought, I thought we voted against that.
(03:43):
We did, but it doesn't mean it's the end. Now
I want to talk to you about a guy named
Gerald Eddie Brown, Junior. This guy's a retired Air Force
officer with twenty four years of experience. He was arrested
in Jeffersonville, Indiana, on federal charges that include providing and
conspiring to provide unauthorized defense services to the Chinese military. Brown,
(04:04):
who's a major retired major, was training pilots of the
People's Liberation Army Air Force without obtaining a state department license,
which is a violation of the Arms Export Control Act
AECA for those who know, and some other international trade regulations.
We're going to get to that in the moment. Plus
(04:25):
Hillary Clinton testified today behind closed doors. I got some
of the scoop on that we're going to get to that.
Cuba has killed a boat filled with Americans, six of
them on there for them are dead.
Speaker 6 (04:36):
By Cuban authorities of an incident off the coast to Cuba.
We immediately began to look into it. As it stands now,
the Department of Homeland Security, the Coast Guard, others are involved.
The majority of the information was still possessed. Is what
Cuban authorities are providing both the public and.
Speaker 5 (04:53):
The US government.
Speaker 6 (04:55):
We have our embassy on the ground in Havana working
this as we speak, asking for access to the people
that were on those vessels, if they were American citizens
or permanent residents. According to the Cuban regime, a vote
was registered in Florida. We're tracking that down. We won't
know shortly, and we won't quickly many more facts about
(05:15):
this incident than we know right the majority of.
Speaker 7 (05:18):
The facts.
Speaker 6 (05:22):
Cubans. We will verify that independently and well. As we
gather more information, then we'll be prepared to respond. According
to me, I'm not going to speculate. I'm not going
to pine on what I don't know, but we're going
to find out exactly what happened here, and then we'll respond,
according to.
Speaker 5 (05:40):
Me, Mom, Donnie's in the White House lobbying Trump to
let go of a hamas terrast sympathizer. Guess what he won?
Trump said, you got it. He let her go, and
all that is coming up straight ahead. Retired Air Force
General Blaine Holt joins us, don't go anywhere. I'm Rich Valdez.
Speaker 1 (05:58):

Speaker 8 (06:20):
Cuba's government says four people on a speedboat registered in
the United States have been shot and killed.
Speaker 9 (06:26):
Cuba's Interior ministry says the boat was intercepted in Cuban waters.
Speaker 8 (06:30):
NBC News correspondent George Solisi's tracking this one, now, George,
what more have we learned about this incident?
Speaker 10 (06:37):
Hey guys, this is a very fluid situation. As you mentioned,
the Cuban government announcing that four people were killed as
a result of this boat attack and six others were injured.
From the Ministry of the Interior there, what we're learning
is they're saying of the morning this morning today they
detected an illegal speedboat there off the northern coast of Cuba.
They're saying their own officials approached this boat and there
(07:00):
was an ensuing gunfight and during this gunfight. They're saying
that four of these people on board this boat, we
don't know what they were doing there, we don't know
what their purpose was, were reportedly killed, and these six
others were injured. They were then transported. We're not sure
we're at this hour. Cuba is saying that as the
consequence of this, they are trying to protect their waters.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
In their words, the.
Speaker 10 (07:23):
Cuban state is safeguarding its sovereignty and stability in the region.
Right now, we are starting to get some reaction from lawmakers,
specifically Representative Carlos Semenez here in Florida, who x posted
a little bit ago saying, quote, the dictatorship in Cuba
has just attacked a boat from Florida and murdered those
on board. Those are his words, saying, this regimen, regime,
(07:44):
excuse me, must be regulated to the dust bin of
history right now. And of course we are out to
other officials as well to learn more about this incident.
We do know as far as this vessel it was
registered here to Florida, but again what it may have
been doing there and this part of Cuba when this
attack happened still remains unclear.
Speaker 5 (08:04):
Guys, welcome back America. Rich Valdez keeping your company tonight,
and I want to bring in an official official, like
a referee with a whistle. General Blaine Holt retired United
States Air Force General. He was the deputy representative for
NATO for the United States and he's one of the
(08:24):
best out there. You've seen him on Newsmax. I've heard
him on my show a bunch of times, and he's
with us now. General, welcome, what's great to be with you.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
Thanks for having me on you bet now.
Speaker 5 (08:34):
General, I know that you were in an undisclosed location,
which is why we can't see your face, but we
do know that you were on the phone with us,
and I want to know from your perspective. You know,
I like to make a joke out of everything, but
this doesn't seem like a joking matter. I'm going to
toss this to you, and I really want you to
take the ball and run with it because it seems
like the Cubans have shot a boat out of the
(08:55):
water filled with Americans. Tell us what's going on?
Speaker 2 (08:59):
Yeah, So all we know so far is the Cuban
government released their side of the story. They say they
were fired upon, then they dropped and killed. I think
four so far that we know of others injured. Six
Americans taken prisoner. They are in detention now getting medical
(09:20):
care as well. Is what the Cuban government is relaying,
and we're told that these are Cuban Americans that found
their way into the territorial waters of Cuba. So we
haven't really heard too much from our government yet except
the usual starting story, which is, look, we're going to
do everything in our power to get them out of there.
(09:41):
But a whole lot of this story does not add up,
and it's a very very serious thing, especially when you
think of the pressure we're applying to Cuba right now
the Castro government and what it would look like for
Americans to be in a detention situation. There no word
on whether this was some sort of clandestine op from
the United S state. It's no word on any of that,
(10:03):
But hopefully the US government will have a statement here
before too long to kind of shed some light on this.
It's very serious, yeah.
Speaker 5 (10:10):
It seems that way. And again I know that there
are clandestine operations that are obviously clandestine right their secret
they're top secret, they're oftentimes not sanctioned by the country
per se. They are you know, happening outside of the
realm of official conduct. What's the I don't want to
say likelihood, but I guess probability possibility based on your
(10:34):
experience when you hear about a bunch of Americans and
getting caught in the outskirts of some country. I would
feel like if this were a bunch of guys that
were fishing and got lost off of Key West, that
the White House or others would be saying, Hey, we're
taking this really seriously, what's going on? How dare you?
And I don't seem to be hearing any of that
coming out of Washington.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
Yeah, that's exactly right. And it's kind of another tell.
And let's you know, the likelihood that a random fishing
boat from Key West got wildly off course and then
all of a sudden, the crew of ten is well
armed with a bunch of weapons. Ah, we're probably looking
at some operation that didn't go so well. Or you
(11:16):
could be looking at private security contractors like you know,
in the old days we had Blackwater. There are several
like them, but they get paid an extensive amount of
money to do extractions or to go in and get
something done, and if they get discovered this is the
thing that it could be, So it could We can't
roll that out either.
Speaker 5 (11:35):
Right, Well, let's talk about that a little bit. And again,
because I think this is an interesting area. Right, let
us say you know, you are someone with significant means,
You've got your mansion in Miami, You've done really well
for yourself, you have some family that are back on
the island in Cuba, and you say, you know what,
I'm going to send some guys to get you. I
was at a great shindig at mar A Lago just
(11:55):
saying making this up, and I met a guy who
runs the private security companies. Guys are all former seals,
former CIA, black ops guys, and they said, for this much,
we can go get your family member, make sure we
get them home safely, and they get hired for this.
This has nothing to do with the government, right, And
you're saying something like that could also be the case.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
Yeah, it could be the case. I know firsthand that
these things happen around the world for very very high
sums of money. And if you recall, during the Fall
of Kabble, it was many of these organizations that stopped
their profit part of their company and applied themselves to
getting as many of the interpreters and the families of
the interpreters that helped us through Afghanistan to get out
(12:40):
of there. And so I have, in my own work
to try to get friends of America out of Afghanistan,
come into contact with several of these folks. But if
they are not paid in significant amounts of money to
go do this type of work, it's very dangerous. And
the reason they bring the weapons because if they get discovered,
they intend to use them. And I'm not saying that's
what happened here. I'm saying maybe this was a clandestine thing.
(13:02):
There is a very strong Cuban American organization and presence
down in southern Florida. Maybe maybe they came up with
something that they wanted to do on their own. You know,
we're all anticipating that eventually the government in Cuba is
going to fall. They're largely blockaded right now, and as
that heat gets turned up, we're wondering, well, will the
(13:26):
Cubans take their own liberation into their own hands. We
won't know for a while, but as that falls, can't
you see or imagine that the Cuban American contingent down
in South Florida that would really love to see a
free Cuba and see it flourish, that they would they
(13:47):
would take up matters like these to get influence operations
going in ahead of any new government in general.
Speaker 5 (13:55):
A couple of years ago, there was this big scandal
that came out that the United States Federal Law Enforcement
I think it was the FBI in particular, was purchasing
consumer data from a very large tech company. And it
was scandalous because this was information the government should not have,
(14:19):
but they were able to buy from a private company
that could supply it. The company was Twitter, and the
government was under Joe Biden, and they were buying Geodata,
and they're tracking data on where people were by way
of their cell phones. And in effect, the argument was
made that this is the federal government, without a warrant,
(14:40):
without any legal right, surveilling the American people. And their
argument was no, no, we were just buying marketing data,
just like any other company can do. And it was problematic.
And I bring all of that up to say, sometimes
the government does things this way. I'm not saying this
(15:01):
government is doing that. But it's also possible that the
government hired these mercenary private security company to do X,
Y and Z.
Speaker 2 (15:13):
Right. No, you've got it exactly right. It's possible, and
it's a slippery slope because if you have you know,
we've had intelligence agencies just basically rape the piggybank in
clandestine operations, but they didn't commit to them. They basically
funneled all the money into NGOs who went and did
their bidding, and then it's off book, off budget. You
(15:35):
can't see what it is and can't be asked questions
about it in Congress either. So, but getting back to
the central point that you are making, Yeah, I think
we're on this path to a very very bad place
if we don't hit the emergency brake and really start
to review the different indirect ways that the government can
(15:55):
usurp our rights and freedoms. If you find a third
party to go ahead and take separat us from our freedoms,
Like I don't want to be surveiled today, well we're
going to do that through a company called flock. They're
the ones doing the surveiling. Or like the Twitter thing,
we're going to curtail your First Amendment rights. It's not
us doing it, it's the Twitter guys. But in effect,
(16:16):
in effect, it's just a game, and it's just semantics,
and it's lawyer lawfare. They're usurping the constitution. Not only
should we hold that up to the light, but the
folks that engage in this type of behavior need to
be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The
Constitution needs to be a vengeful document that that offending
(16:38):
the Constitution should cause the Constitution itself to be a vengeful.
Document from the Commander in Chief's desk.
Speaker 5 (16:45):
Yeah, listen, I'm with you on that one. I don't
know that I believe it'll happen. Most of the time.
Oftentimes I hate being right, but I say that's not
going to happen, and then I'm right. You know, It's
like James call me right, I said, Ah, if he
gets locked up, I don't think anything will happen. He
got locked up, nothing happened. Right. This isn't me rooting
for the bad guys. This is me just you know,
(17:06):
while you're out there fighting wars and flying four or
five thousand hours as an Air Force pilot in general,
I've been observing politics from from the sidelines and sometimes
from the inside, and I've seen how this stuff gets
so swampy, and right and wrong really don't exist. Oftentimes
it's who's got power that's usually what exists. And it's
a sad thing. But one thing I could say is
(17:28):
I've seen that trend change and the pendulum is swinging
back towards we the people with the election of Donald Trump,
thank God for that. Has it gone enough? I don't know,
all right, I wanted to. I wanted to piggyback on
something you said on a different topic, because I was
talking with a journalist a couple of days ago, you know,
(17:50):
left of center journalists that covers the border and cartels,
and the one area we agreed was the CIA and
how he was saying the CIA has got in the
way of the quote unquote war on drugs since he's
been down at the border, and he's been down there
for thirty years, and I agreed with him. I figured,
you know, I remember President Obama, right, that's the president
(18:11):
of the United States sending guns to the cartels, and
that's it. No, we didn't do it, Harrik Holder said, right,
fast and furious, But that happened, right, and so then
we wonder when these cartels are killing one another, and
we didn't just do it there. I mean we did
it with bin Ladin. It's been a thing, right the
enemy of my enemy is my friend, and we've used
these Macavelian concepts throughout history and sometimes they bite us
(18:34):
in the butt. But with respect to this, we were
talking about how there's been some sightings of military or
at least militia with Ukrainian emblems in Mexico, and the
explanation was that these guys are hired guns, and they
(18:55):
were working in Ukraine on behalf of the Ukrainians and
now they're working on behalf of the cartels, and that
they are these same guys that we're talking about, right,
like Wagner group and others. There's a lot of these
groups out there, So tell me what you know about that,
just I know that you have experience in that area.
With respect to Mexico, how much of these cartel militia
(19:18):
are just hired guns and how many of them do
you think are exclusive to the cartel like their own
private army.
Speaker 2 (19:24):
Well, I think, unfortunately a great deal of them are
exclusive to the cartels. So this gets to where I
think the mainstream media really has to start to depart
from the way that they cover wars around the world.
And what I mean by that is, right now, today's news,
we're talking about Iran. When are we going to start
dropping bombs? And then that's that story, and it's not
(19:45):
like any other story, and we don't relate it to
any other story. Those days are over. Iran is linked
to the cartels, the cars are linked in Mexico. But
you've got the Russia Ukraine war. Wait a minute, all
that money, all those weapons flowing in there. A lot
of the black market weapons got into the hands of
the cartels too. We know that stingers got into the
(20:07):
hand and javelins got into the hands of the cineloas.
So now wait a minute, it gets worse. The IRGC,
the Iranians have terror camps where they train militarily the cartels.
Then the cartels want to go get combat experience. Where
are they going to go get that? Well, there's a
hop and war over there in Europe. So they go
on over to Europe. They get themselves on the front,
(20:27):
some of them get killed, but they come back with
combat experience. Training from Iran. The black marketing weapons, money
laundering all over the place. And so that you've heard
me say it before. That's why the president's war on
the cartels is the number one thing we're doing. But
then when people get this bloodlust, like Lindsey Graham, they
want to see bombs dropping on Iran right away, It's like,
(20:49):
not so fast. We've got four years of open borders here.
So we've got cartels and Iranian terror cells right here
at the ready on Main Street, ready to go. Have
you figured that part of this out yet, because you
may find very quickly that your foreign war becomes a
domestic one here at home, because all these puzzle piece
is rich interlock.
Speaker 5 (21:09):
You know. That was the point that we came up
with with the journalist that was down there, that the
money that Iran funnels to has Bella, they also funnel
to the cartels, and that these cartels, in fact have
either they are one and the same or they're operating
as one and the same. These Iranian sleeper cells are
the cartels, or at least are being brought into the
(21:31):
country by the cartels. So yeah, how are we going
to go drop a bahma on Iran or take out
the Ayatola or whatever the move is in Iran before
we shore things up at home. I think that makes
all the sense in the world, but it's an interesting
geopolitical puzzle piece that I think a lot of people
were missing, and in particular, as you mentioned, the mainstream media.
(21:52):
All right, so that puts a pin in that conversation.
I want to pause right here, and we're going to
come right back. We're going to continue with Brigadier General Blaine.
He's retired from the United States Air Force, and the
Air Force making some headlines yesterday also breaking news, why well,
because they found an Air Force pilot that was training
the Chinese. Now we're going to talk about how the
(22:13):
Chinese fit into this more in our geopolitical conversation with
General Blaine Holt. Straight ahead, I'm Rich Faldez.
Speaker 1 (22:19):
This is America. This is America.
Speaker 5 (22:36):
President Tim.
Speaker 2 (22:36):
Take your up, mister President.
Speaker 5 (22:38):
Welcome to the program.
Speaker 3 (22:38):
Sir well, thank you, Rich, and thank you for everything.
I know you very well and I have I listened,
but I have a lot of people that listen and
they love your show and I appreciate it very much.
Speaker 11 (22:50):
And a former US Air Force pilot has been arrested
for allegedly providing defense services to the Chinese military.
Speaker 12 (22:58):
Federal officials say sixty five year old Gerar Gerald Eddie
Brown Junior. He was taken into custody in Indiana. The
former F thirty five instructor pilot was charged with violating
the Arms Export Control Act.
Speaker 11 (23:11):
Prosecutors alleged Brown conspired to train pilots with China's People's
Liberation Army without this required State Department license. According to
the complaint, Brown traveled to China in late twenty twenty three.
He allegedly provided combat aircraft instruction there after coordinating the
foreign nationals.
Speaker 12 (23:31):
One of those individuals was a previously convicted Chinese hacker
tied to military espionage now the Justice Department, said the FBI,
saying that the case underscores growing efforts by Beijing to
exploit former US military expertise. They vowed to hold anyone
who assists America's adversaries accountable.
Speaker 5 (23:51):
All right, America, welcome back, Rich Valdesk, keeping the company tonight.
I'm here with Brigadier General Blainholt joining us on the
phone from an undisclosed location somewhere where the water is
very pretty. That's all I can say. And in general,
we're having a conversation about a lot of things geopolitically
and headlines are coming in. We just saw a little
update on that Air Force pilot retired from the United
(24:14):
States Air Force working with the Chinese to train the Chinese.
Sounds like somebody sleeping with the enemy. What's going on here?
Speaker 2 (24:23):
It's just awful news. And as an airman, it breaks
my heart to have our good name and our reputation
besmirched by someone who would not only disgrace us and
our reputation, but do so in a treacherous way with
arguably our number one adversary on the globe. Is this
officer wasn't a very accomplished officer in his career. How
(24:46):
do I know that? Well, he went twenty four years,
got to retirement day, and he was a major. Should
have been at least a lieutenant colonel by that point
in time, So that's an indicator. Then he goes into
flying heavies and cargo ships. Doesn't work out for him.
Then he spends his later days he apparently he's sixty five,
flying as a contract simulator instructor in the F thirty five.
(25:09):
And then with all that knowledge, he decides, well, what
I'm probably pretty valuable in China. I bet I could
make a lot of money there, and he goes to
China in twenty twenty three and he stays and we
we bet this is the thing. We have to start
holding people accountable for this crap in the country. And so, yes,
today's day was a bad day for our air force.
(25:30):
Just walk around the swamp in DC and think about
all of those elected officials, all the staffers, all of
the cubicle dwellers who in some fashion or form are
either compromised, extorted, blackmailed, and we don't put a paw
on them. You know, Swallwell with his girlfriend Fang Fang,
and he still gets to sit on the Intel Committee.
And so this is the thing. If the swamp is
(25:52):
going to just become this unaccountable place where there's two
sets of rules to sets of justice systems, then you
could easily see failed pilots or failed military professionals say well,
I mean listen, if the top tier is going to
do it, why wouldn't I go make a bug? And
it's sad because he should have thought about his creator,
and he should have thought about his constitution in his
(26:13):
country before he did any of those things.
Speaker 5 (26:16):
You mentioned the creator, you mentioned the constitution, you mentioned
the career and a word with a T trader this
is treason, and legitimately, I would say this is probably
the realest sense of the word treason. I know that
we throw it around a lot because it feels treasonous
a lot of the things that we see, but from
the United States Code Statue, right, a country that we're
(26:38):
actively engaged in some sort of hostility with, and that's
China for sure, right, I say, they're our biggest enemy.
So I'm with you one hundred percent on this stuff.
I say, you know, hang them high. But how do
we fix that? How do we go about it? I
remember a couple of years ago they caught a few
people in the Pentagon, some chief of staff there that
(26:59):
during the Biden days that was compromised by the Iranians,
and they disappeared. That was it. It was like, oh wow, great,
how do we stop that? Because I think you're right,
you know, and you said, walk around Foggy Bottom, walk
around wherever in DC. You're going to find a lot
of places that where the enemy wants to find people
that they can compromise. And I'm sure in many instances
(27:21):
or some instances, they have. What's the counter to that?
Speaker 2 (27:26):
The counter is so at the micro scale with some
clown like this one we're talking about, who's done a
lot of damage to us. By the way, the counter
to him is make an example out of him. He
needs to be at the highest sentencing that can be
levied against what could be proven in a court. Yes,
have your due process, but then justice should be swift
(27:48):
and it should be meaningful. The second part, the bigger issue,
is the president at some point is going to have
to review both sides of the so called aisle that
doesn't exist in my book, I think they are just
one big mess. And then what needs to happen is
the president needs to take a serious evaluation about whether
(28:08):
our government is incapacitated or not. Do we even have
the ability to prosecute treason in our government? Or is everybody,
in some facet or form in some form of compromise
and the breadcrumbs are there to go look for the
compromise when you see someone pulling for drug dealers that
have sunk to the bottom of the ocean from an
(28:30):
American missile and you're pulling for them, when you decry
terrible things about this ice operation to try to save
the next lake and Riley incident from happening. You probably
can make a reasonable assessment that they're getting their influence
from somewhere other than the United States and their constituency.
Speaker 5 (28:51):
So we need to deal with that. I agree, I
just don't know what the remedy to that is. It
seems like we have a lot of lobbyists for the cartels,
we have lobbyists for straight up criminals, we have lobbyists
for mogadishue. It seems like everybody's lobbying for everybody else
and everything else except for what's good, what's holy, and
what's American right.
Speaker 2 (29:11):
So, in my view, if you can make an assessment
about how much of the government, DC, the cubicle dwellers,
the defense industrial base, that think tanks, how much of
that is ethically unsound and at its worst treasonous through
compromist blackmail, whatever, you have to make an assessment about
(29:33):
do we have a standing, functional government, Do we have
a duly elected government under the constitution? And if we don't,
then I think the president should strongly consider, as tough
as the medicine is, strongly consider declaring that the government
is incapacitated under the constitution and bring in the military
to hold down the fort while all this stuff gets adjudicated.
(29:54):
But we're going to that place. It may sound really
incredible and incredible right now to even talk this way,
but the more Epstein stuff that drops, the more things
you can read about people who did terrible things to
their country, kids and trafficking and laundering and all of
this stuff on both sides of the aisle, the more
you have to ask these very serious questions, and they
(30:15):
are serious questions.
Speaker 5 (30:18):
Sounds like a page out of the Q and on
playbook general this crazy stuff, it really is. It's wild
to see what's going on now moving forward with this guy.
What's the remedy here? Do we get him from China?
We got him, what happens to him now? What does
the consequence look like?
Speaker 2 (30:39):
Yeah, I don't know what his physical disposition is right now,
whether he's in China or in US hands. Maybe he's
in our embassy, not really quite sure. I guess we're
going to find that out in the coming days. But
then what will happen is we will bring him back
and we will probably try him in a military court.
But I will tell you I'm the weakest person to
tell how they're gonna legally maneuver that to get him
(31:03):
back on duty active duty because he was such a
low ranking officer. So well, but but he will face
justice and it should be for treason. And what you're
gonna hear on the TV is all these talking heads going, oh,
I don't think they can prove treason, even though in
the light of day here they are training. They already
stole our F thirty five plans, good thing that there
(31:24):
is a real maintenance mess. And so here he is
trying to create J thirty five pilots as good as
F thirty five pilots. That that's that's not a that's
not a harmless thing. And as a major, he was
taught better than that, and he did know better.
Speaker 5 (31:39):
They were able to prove seditious conspiracy for people involved
in January sixth.
Speaker 7 (31:44):
They did.
Speaker 5 (31:45):
I'm hoping that they could get some at a minimum
seditious conspiracy in a criminal court. Okay, so watch this,
so watch this.
Speaker 2 (31:52):
So so when this thing starts to evolve and develop,
if we start seeing them take a velvet hammer to
this guy, you can bet your bippy that the Chinese
government called in a lot of political favors that they
are owed in DC you can bet that that's the case.
Speaker 5 (32:08):
What about if if they say, all right, we're gonna
take it easy on this guy him seven years for
whatever being a bad guy, and you're like, what seven years?
This guy's Benedic Darnold, And it's not that he's being
protected by his spy handlers in Beijing, but that he
has given up his spy handlers and now we have
(32:28):
a handle on how they're infiltrating. Is that a possibility.
Speaker 2 (32:31):
Oh, that's a possibility. I'll give you that, that's an
absolute possibility.
Speaker 5 (32:35):
I'm optimistic. I'm just I'm always looking for the way.
Speaker 2 (32:38):
I do love your optimism. Just from the pictures that
I've seen of him, I'm not sure he's that clever,
and I'm not sure the Chinese have really armed him
with anything of use for us, But yes, if he
has some compelling information or he brought us back the
gonculator that the Chinese uses as a secret weapon in everything,
(33:00):
maybe it's okay. I don't know, but I but I
I'm gonna I'm gonna tell you that I think he's
in a whole lot of trouble.
Speaker 5 (33:07):
Yeah, General Holt, I always appreciate your time Politically speaking,
and I don't bring you on to get your political
take because I have too much respect for you. And
generals are so good, they really are good at staying
above the fray in politics. But the President gave what
I considered to be a unifying state of the Union,
where he used the the platform to allow the Democrats,
(33:34):
certain Democrats to put themselves out there as as the
enemies of American values, so to speak, by not standing
up for things that were normal, right, they weren't political,
so to speak. Do you think this resonates in your
in your world, you know, with your retired military brass
(33:57):
type of people. What's it looking like? What have you
been hearing?
Speaker 2 (34:01):
Yeah? So I think it's good hard cold medicine to
some of those military folks who are still longing for
the old DEI woke days. I think it's a nice
slap in the face to go and look at the
people that you've aligned yourselves with. They won't even stand
for a CW five, one of the most rarest of
(34:23):
ranks you could obtain in the army, and they won't
even stand for him because he can barely stand for
himself after he got shot up going down to Maduro
mission and he is there to receive the Medal of Honor.
And I just the President has a great way of saying, well,
here we are, let's look at who's who. And if
you won't stand for this, gentleman, if you won't stand
for Lake and Riley, you won't stand for the angel parents,
(34:46):
you're certainly not standing with America. And we can see you.
And I hope that there's a lot of these previous
Wokesters who were drinking that kool aid during the Biden administration.
Whether they're in uniform or in a suit, doesn't matter,
that are going to art seriously considering what side of
this am I on? Am I just nothing more than
a glorified Bolshevik, because that's exactly what they are.
Speaker 5 (35:10):
Sir Edmund Burke often used the quote used by others,
if you stand for nothing, you'll fall for anything, and
this is a clear example of that. In my opinion, general,
I want you to let everybody know how they can
find you, where they can get your commentaries, your podcast,
your blog, all of it.
Speaker 2 (35:30):
So please come to Dangerous Intellectuals dot com podcast. We
had a great one on Monday. It was with doctor
Emily Brailey. She is the wisest on all things corruption
and international aid, and she's such an optimistic person. And
then I've just wrote an article for Newsmas on why
logistics and our fragile logistics systems in the United States
(35:52):
could bring us to a very bad place and we
need to look at that. And that's at newsmax dot
com and you can always see me there and I
always enjoy my chance to get to talk to you.
Speaker 5 (36:00):
I appreciate it, brother, more than you know. Check him
out on the Newsmax Insiders page. He always has an
amazing column there. Check out Dangerous Intellectuals. Give them the
handle so they could follow you on that.
Speaker 2 (36:11):
Yep. If you come to Twitter, you can get me
at danger Thinking or you can just come to the
website Dangerous Intellectuals dot com and pick your favorite platform
and then give me some comments. Let me know how
we're doing. But what we've been having some great.
Speaker 5 (36:26):
Discussions outstanding general. You always bring on really good guests
that are very thought provoking. It's very very stimulating stuff
deep dive, a lot of meat there to chew. So
I appreciate your podcast and thanks for being on this one.
I mean to go someone right back. I'm Rich Valdez.
He's General Blaine Holt.
Speaker 1 (36:42):
This is America, this is America. He's making podcasting great again.
(37:08):
This is America with Rich Valdez.
Speaker 13 (37:12):
I never met Jeffrey Epstein, never had any connection or
communication with him. I knew Gallainne Maxwell casually as an acquaintance.
But whatever they asked me, I did my very best
to respond.
Speaker 5 (37:30):
What's up, America. Welcome back Rich Valdez. And check this out.
Some breaking news. We got some footage of Hillary Clinton.
Hillary Clinton speaking outside of her deposition, which was cut short.
Why because congressom and Lauren Bobert shout out to Congressman
Lauren Bobert snapping the pick and messing up Hillary's whole
mental game. As soon as she heard of the picture
(37:51):
had gone viral of her inside the deposition, and you're
gonna take a look at that on screen. In a moment,
she lost it. She absolutely says, no, thank you, I
don't want I want nothing to do with this. So
Hillary Clinton freaking out in her deposition. I love that
for her. Plus the the comments, of course that you
(38:12):
heard from Hillary Clinton. She says she knew nothing, She
knows nothing, but she did try to throw ed Trompito
under the bus right now, ed Trumpito. He's been very
clear on this a million times. He's exonerated by one
of the victims themselves, Virginia Jeffrey. But I want to
hear from Jen Kerns on this. Jen Kerns is the
(38:35):
author of the real war on women. We're gonna try
and have her on tomorrow, so let's try and make
that happen. Control Ken, We thank you, and let's focus
now on what's going on in La right, because just
like we had this deposition on Hillary Clinton, there was
this raid on the superintendent of schools, Superintendent Carvaljo. Right,
(38:57):
Carvalo sounds like a Portuguese name. And I brought this
up yesterday, but I didn't get into any of the
clips on it because I think this is a very
interesting thing. There's a number of cases that involve sexual
assault sexual abuse that are currently being litigated, a number
like several hundred, and he himself is in a little
(39:18):
bit of hot water. But listen to this report about
mister Convalo. I say it right, Convalue check this out.
Speaker 14 (39:27):
Breaking today, federal agents raiding the Los Angeles Unified School
District headquarters and the home of Superintendent Elberto Carvallo, the
FBI confirming that it executed search warrants, but with holding
any further detail. The superintendent has recently made headlines for
fighting with federal officials over immigration enforcement efforts in his district.
Speaker 5 (39:48):
Okay, John, thank you the contract right. That's a report
from the Fox News channel. As you can see, they
are going after his home. They're going after his home
in Florida, They're going after his his office name, They're
going after him. They all believe that this is because
of an AI company that sold the district and AI
package that this tool was supposed to help with absenteeism.
(40:13):
What it did, I don't know, but apparently it didn't
work and they lost a few million bucks. Now the
question becomes, what did he have to do it, what
did he know and when did he know it. I
think we're going to find out from mister Carvalue what
the story is on that when he tells us more.
But he did have this to say, listen to this.
Speaker 4 (40:34):
And I want to confess to you for those of
you may not know, I would be a hypocrite if
I did not fight for those who today are facing
conditions that over forty years I faced as an un
documented MIGRANTO this company. I want to repeat that I
would be the biggest hypocrite in the world in regardless
(40:56):
of my position today, if today I did not fight
for those who find themselves in the same predicament I
faced over forty years ago when I arrived in this
country at the age of seventeen as an undocumented immigrant.
Education made me unsaved me. I became a teacher, a principal,
(41:19):
a superintendent, leading the nation's largest districts, four times selected
as national Superintendent the year. Do not underestimate the power
of the immigrant child, who may very well become an
adult who does well and good by America. If I
come across with a certain degree of contempt and anger,
(41:39):
I am. I am because Monday Monday actions were taken
in this community that have no place in our city,
in our state, or across America. I'm still mystified as
to how a first, second, third, fourth, or sixth grader
(42:03):
with pose any type of risk to the national security
of our nation that would require Homeland Security to deploy
its agents to two elementary schools.
Speaker 5 (42:18):
All right, So Carvalio, now speaking out of course, you know,
says he did nothing wrong. I've done nothing bad. I
did not have sex with that woman. Huh no, that's slick. Willy,
forgive me, and now we've got this.
Speaker 9 (42:33):
I'm here at the Los Angeles Unified School District headquarters
were earlier today, FBI Los Angeles raided the office and
home of LAUSD Superintendent Alberto Carvallo this morning. Aerial footage
showed federal agents carrying boxes out of Carvallo's San Pedro home.
I am told he also has a home in Florida
(42:54):
that was raided by the FEDS. Some reports indicate recent
settlements amounting in hundreds of millions of dollars in payouts
may be tied to this raid. As part of a
larger probe into misuses of Prop twenty eight funds, LAUSD
received approximately seventy seven million dollars annually for Prop twenty
eight funds to expand arts and music education. However, a
(43:19):
twenty twenty five lawsuit brought forward by former superintendent Austin Buner,
who recently dropped out of the LA Mayor's race, allegis
misallocation of funds set aside to hire new teachers and staff.
An investigation into twenty one billion dollars in EDD unemployment
insurance program funds leading back to COVID era fraud may
(43:40):
also be playing a role in the larger scheme of things.
This could lead to a wider question, as the weather
funds were used to cherry pick settlements for lawsuit payouts
and pay existing staff. In late November twenty twenty four,
LAUSD declared itself a sanctuary district refused to cooperate with
(44:01):
federal immigration enforcement.
Speaker 7 (44:03):
Los Angeles City Council approved an ordinance that officially makes
LA a sanctuary city. Minutes later, the Los Angeles Unified
School District Board approved a resolution also declaring itself a
sanctuary district. The resolution prohibits employees from voluntarily complying with
immigration authorities, including sharing information about a student's immigration status.
Speaker 9 (44:26):
Superintendent Carvallo made statements back then saying he would intervene
and interfere with any federal operation.
Speaker 15 (44:35):
I have directed our own police force to redouble their
efforts and establish perimeters of safety around graduation sites to
intervene and interfere with any federal agency.
Speaker 9 (44:50):
Affidavits of today's raids are sealed and LAUSD is not
commenting at this time.
Speaker 5 (44:57):
It's the latest with that. Catherine Harriet, I drag Catherine Heridge.
She was with CBS News, she was with Fox, she
was a storied reporter. Catherine Herridge had an interview with
an attorney who says that there's three hundred and some
odd cases involving sexual abuse coming right out of California.
This is interesting because nearly all of them are teachers.
(45:21):
Listen to this.
Speaker 13 (45:22):
What's the issue in the California public school system K
through twelve?
Speaker 16 (45:28):
The main issue is is that there is an epidemic
of sexual abuse in the state, the by teachers, by coaches,
and by other school employees. It wasn't until twenty twelve
you could actually file a lawsuit, a civil lawsuit for
damages as a victim of sexual abuse in California. And
since then, our firm alone has filed dozens. Our firm
(45:51):
alone has discovered over three hundred and fifty or three
hundred and sixty perpetrators teachers.
Speaker 13 (45:57):
Wait, three hundred and fifty, three hundred and sixty just
in California, correct, And.
Speaker 16 (46:02):
We believe there's many, many more. We know there's many more,
because we certainly don't have all of the cases.
Speaker 5 (46:11):
Well, well, well, would you look at that. Now, this
I find very very interesting, right interesting, because it's just wrong. Right,
what I think is wrong here is mister car value.
And again I don't want to make them guilty. I
just I think I always have a disdain for people
that work in public And I've worked for the government,
(46:33):
mind you, And that's why I have this disdain because
I think, man, I've worked in the private sector. I've
built businesses, my own companies, and that is so much
harder than getting a government job. Now does the government
job pay you better in the long run? Maybe for
some people. Some people really cash out quick. Aside, when
I worked in the state of New Jersey, very interesting stuff.
(46:54):
Check this out. In New Jersey, you can work for
your twenty years or whatever it is required for your pension.
I think you're vested after ten years. But you work
for your ten years and then guess guess what happens
ten years you work, and what happens is the following
you up until recently, until a few years ago, Christy
put an end to this, Governor Chris Christy. But at
(47:16):
the time you were able to do your time, do
your twenty years and say hey, you know what, By
the way, in the twenty years I've worked, I have
never ever taken a sick day. And because I haven't
taken a sick day, I want you to pay me
my pension, a secondary pension that we call a deferred compensation,
(47:39):
very similar to a four to ZHO three B and
a cash payout on unused sick days. Now, mind you,
most people don't aren't able to work for twenty years
and not take a sick day, But somehow, miraculously the
people in the best health ever must be all those
vaccines and the booster. Because the New Jersey people were
(48:01):
doing it left and right, everybody was able to take
a retirement and say, yeah, I've got two hundred and
twenty thousand dollars in six days. So imagine that pension
at sixty five or eighty percent or whatever the number
was of your pay and usually your friends help you
out along the way, so that whatever the highest grade
(48:23):
level or rank you can retire at, you retire at
that one pension deferred compensation to another retirement plan. It's
a secondary retirement plan like a four H three B.
Next cash payout on your sick days, which I'm gonna say,
I don't even believe all of that, Well, that was
(48:46):
a real thing that was going on in New Jersey
for every single person that retired from the government. And
guess what, The New Jersey Constitution is required to pay
out every last bit of what it owes in pension.
The constitution says that it has to pay the pensions.
There's a lot of other things on the books that
aren't constitutionally protected. Pensions are. So I say all that
(49:10):
to say, I met so many people that were really
looking out for their future, and God bless them for it.
I'm not begrudging them, per se. I'm begrudging a system,
a system that creates a dependency on government that is unrealistic.
In the private sector, it's unrealistic. There isn't another place
(49:32):
where you can retire like that, except for maybe being
an executive in a larger company. You know, like a
golden parachute type of deal, saying hey, when I leave here,
you know, wind loser draw, I'm taking this much, I
want this much to be able to leave. And not
everybody gets those deals. And it would be a different
story if people that worked in government were to say
things with humility and say, listen, I know that I
(49:55):
get paid way more than anybody would doing the same
thing in the private sector. I know that what we
have is not even competitive. It blows away anything available
in the private sector. I've told people this in the past.
I used to work in the state government and I
worked in the private sector prior to that. I went
from a job. This was many years ago, but I
(50:15):
was making eighty thousand dollars a year. It was two
thousand nine or ten or something like that, maybe eleven,
and I was paying eight eight hundred, almost nine thousand
dollars a year for my health insurance. That was my contribution.
The employer matched whatever they were matching. Right now, what's
(50:39):
fascinating about this to me is you've got me taking
a ten thousand dollars pay cut at the time to
take a job in the Christian administration. They paid me
seventy thousand dollars. I still made more money, how simple,
because I was able to pay one percent of my
(51:01):
salary or one point five So I paid seven hundred
and fifty dollars for a health benefit package that covered
me in the family. And listen to this. It's the
only time in my life that I was treated with
the utmost respect. The utmost respect. When I went to
(51:21):
visit my doctor, any doctor, any doctor I went to,
and I gave them my blue Cross blue Shield card
that said New Jersey State employee on it. No problem,
mister val does a doctor see you? I mean, you
talk about having a Cadillac health care plan. It was fantastic.
(51:41):
I mean, you would use it for anything you wanted,
anything you wanted. I know people that work in the union,
different unions. I'm not going to say which unions, but
some good unions in New York City. Theirs didn't compare
to mine. Nothing like the good old government. We got
the best gangsters ever government gangster. Shout out to Cash
Hotel for that one. And listen. If it were the
(52:04):
private sector, I'd say, hey, they built a better mouse trap.
They won in the in the marketplace of ideas, God
bless them. But no, they didn't develop anything. They didn't
create anything. There was no industriousness, there was no ingenuity.
It was just sheerly the fact that they take our
tax dollars. You make five hundred dollars or one thousand
(52:24):
dollars a week and you come home with three eighty
or seven hundred bucks because why because those guys are
getting great pensions and the Cadillac Plan and the deferred
compensation and the cash out on their sick days. How
is that fair to anybody? Right, it's totally unfair. It's
literally a wealth transfer. You work super hard and then
(52:46):
they get the benefit of that. Because it's an unreasonable benefit,
but it exists. So I noticed that in the government.
I realized there's no way I could work here forever.
People they'll beat me up around here. They hear how
I really feel about this stuff. End of the story is. Look,
it's like mister Carvalio is being investigated, to say the
least because of similar Right, we don't know what his
(53:07):
involvement with this company was. Apparently this company did the deal,
the contract was made. They sold at minimum three million dollars.
They say the loss could be as big as six
million dollars. But they want to know where the money
went because apparently the AI that they bought never worked.
Now I can tell you I sit on a school
(53:29):
board now for a public charter school in Jersey City,
New Jersey. Shout out to the beloved Community Charter School
home of the Owls, Go Owls. And I've been there
since inception. It's a great one of my greatest honors.
You know, I probably don't hold my weight around there,
but I am honored to have my name on a
plaque in that building, in the first building that we purchased,
(53:51):
and it's it's a beautiful thing. It's a beautiful thing
to be able to provide a quality educational system in
a economically impoverished area, but one that's on the come up, right,
because you've got some really rich people just outside of
that area in Jersey City. The point I'm making here
is I deal with contracts all the time, reading contracts,
(54:13):
taking a look at what's going on for certain deals.
Sometimes we are able to get property for a dollar
from the county as long as we promised to build
on it because we've had a great system. We have
an amazing consultant that guided the founder's group and was himself.
That is a brainchild of his. These construction projects were
done at a fraction of what it would have cost
(54:34):
if the state were to do it. So think about
that delivering better education at a lower price in the
most difficult parts of the city. And that was done
intentionally because there was a belief that if you're poor,
you can't learn right. Gavin Newsom recently said something like that.
Joe Biden said some stuff like that. Kathy Hochel said
(54:54):
some stuff like that. Everybody's had these comments, but we
didn't believe that. We believe that just because you were,
because your parents are poor, or whatever, the indicators were
for people not to learn as effectively. Those could be
mitigated by larger classroom sizes and more one to one,
perhaps a teaching assistant and a teacher in a class
(55:15):
of thirty or thirty five. Things that you don't typically
hear people's are overcrowded classes. We've had great results kids
going into the ivys. We're now in our fourteenth year,
I think right. So we've graduated our first class I
think two years ago. If I'm not mistaken, our first
kindergarten class that graduated in twelfth grade. It's a huge honor. Anyway,
(55:35):
I'm not trying to pat myself on the back or
break my arm doing it. I'm saying this to say,
mister Carvaljo, as the superintendent, he's got to sign. I'm
sure the same stuff I've got to sign that says
if I'm buying a thousand mugs for the students in
this school. You better believe I can't own that company,
(55:56):
because if I own this company, then I can't sell
you the mugs stand to make a profit, and that
would be a conflict of interest. I can't create a
shell company that bottles water and then say hey, I'm
going to sell you some bottled water and then oh, well,
I'm not on the board, but my wife is, and
you can't do that, right. This is like the stuff
(56:18):
they were doing in Congress. But this type of self
dealing is what happens all the time. It's ever present
in government. There are people that get into government specifically
to enrich themselves. So how do you fix this? Well, hey,
that's a condition of depravity of the heart. It's human nature,
it's the flesh. It's a spiritual battle, right. The Apostle
(56:43):
Paul said that the spirit lusteth against the flesh, and
the flesh lusteth against the spirit. Some translations say warreth right,
So the spirit is at war with the flesh, and
the flesh is at war with the spirit. These are allegories,
if you will, for human nature. Got it check. You
can't fix that by legislating it, right, But you can
(57:05):
try and get people to be people of integrity. You
can get people in the selection process, one would hope
that will do the right thing. And of course, more
than anything, you have to have the safeguards in place,
make sure that two or three people have to be
signatories and that they can't be related. You know, you
can't presume that everybody's going to make a deal for
kickback somewhere. Now. I'm not imposing guilt on mister Carvalio.
(57:29):
I'm just saying, all too often we see these types
of problems, and if there is some sort of mouthfeasons
where the FBI is raiding his house in Florida, his
house in California and his office, I'm to be cliche.
I'll say whether smoke there's fire. I don't want to
say that because we've seen what they do with Trump. Right.
(57:51):
You could say, man, this guy is a guy thirty
four felon accounts, he was found guilty by a judge
of sexual sexual abuse. All these things would be factually accurate.
Yet they're all wrong. They're a fake and their phony
and their fraud. And I would say that because I'm
a Trump sycophan. I say that because just factually they're not.
These were cases that were fabricated for the purpose of
(58:13):
discrediting him. Right. I don't see that happening with mister
Carr value, at least not yet. I don't see somebody saying, well,
I really wanted to be the superintendent and he was
