This is America with Rich Valdez powered bipolitweek dot com
and Rich.
Speaker 2 (00:13):
Valdez is with US former Christian Administration official.
Speaker 1 (00:15):
You work for Chris Christie.
Speaker 3 (00:16):
You've been follistas on a lot of public service stuff.
Speaker 4 (00:18):
Rich Valdez calumnist now with the Washington Times.
Speaker 1 (00:20):
This is America, Richiev. You're on the air with a
Nation with America with your host, Rich Valdez.
Speaker 4 (00:29):
What's up America. I am Rich Valdes Valdest with an
US at Rich Valdes on all of the social media.
You're liberty loving Latino amigo. Here we are seventeen miles
away from Madison Square Garden, New York City, happy and
blessed to be with you this Thursday night edition of
the program and trying to guide you through the madness
broadcasting of course, from the land where liberty thrives and
(00:53):
the liberals keep fumbling the ball. And I want to
welcome you back to another edition of the program, of course.
Rich Feldesk dot com Rich Faldesk with an S. If
you need to catch up on anything some of the
previous shows we've done, just go to the website, click
the play button and you're in like Flynn, and I'm
trying to slice through some of the spin and kind of,
(01:15):
you know, dish out some of the truth, tossing in
a little bit of selfrie, throw in a couple of
laughs to make sure that even the Grinch will crack
a smile this Christmas season. But me, he goes. It
is Thursday, December fourth, twenty twenty five, and today's headlines
are like a holiday fruitcake like I find it too,
if you will, packed with nuts and a little bit
(01:37):
of fruity this and somehow still delightful. So grab your
eggnog or if you're like me, some coquito or your
energy drink. You know, no shame, and let's roll. First off,
President Trump, he's the comeback king. He's in the White House.
He's shrugging off the left so called health scare like
a boss. The media is hyperventilating because he closed his
(01:59):
eyes in a meat right. Rubio was talking and he
was kind of resting his eyes. To me, it looked
like he was still nodding his head like yeah, but hey, listen,
I think I've fallen asleep on the air. You think
he's not gonna fall asleep in a cabinet meeting. Come on, anyway, listen,
this is not a crisis, right. That's called meditating on
how to drain the swamp a little bit deeper. That's
(02:21):
what he was doing. You know, I've dozed off listening
to Kamala's word salads. Trump's probably just recharging for round two,
you know how he rolls. Maybe he's cutting back on
the diet coke. But speaking of Holiday's spirit that we're
talking about, the coquita and the fruitcakes and whatnot. He
and the ever elegant First Lady Milania Trump lit up
(02:43):
the White House Christmas Tree last night, turning DC into
a winter wonderland. And listen, good for good for them,
you know, and all of the scrooges that you know,
want to erase Merry Christmas from everything. Happy to see
that they're doing that. And we're gonna get you clip
of exactly you know what they were talking about in
a moment. On the military front, we've had ABC News
(03:07):
they had to admit finally that the Pentagon was spot
on with that second drug boat strike. Vindication Maybe I
think so. Trump's calling for the video release, and I'm
glad they released the video. Why not? Right in a
world where you know, Russia's flexing their nukes after years
of Dayton. South Korea's president is swearing off nukes while
(03:30):
shopping for submarines. We need transparency, like we need air
around here. And if that footage drops, and it has
and it will for everyone to see, it's gonna be
bigger than a Marvel blockbuster movie. In my opinion. Why
because real heroes don't need capes, No capes required. So
(03:52):
eat your heart out, Hollywood. You're gonna see exactly how
it trum beat THEO roles when you see this video,
and I think it's clear that these guys were trying
to salvage not only their lives after getting hit, but
they're trying to salvage the drugs. Call for reinforcements. This
is what had to be done. And shifting to the
heartland of America Minnesota, Minnesota buzzing as a Somali immigrant
(04:18):
hotspot lately, this is the ultimate melting pot, right America.
That's what we do here. But let's keep it simmering,
right this melting pot. Assimilation is a must, right assimilation
or bust, I mean, he goes otherwise we end up
with more drama than a reality show and a solemn
shout out to Charles sha He's the d Day medic
(04:41):
who heroically saved several people, many souls at just nineteen
years old. He just passed away at one hundred and one.
God bless him, and he's a legend. Sir, I thank
you for your bravery. It's your bravery that built this nation,
and I pray that we can all honor your legacy
by not messing up America. Also on the weather front,
(05:05):
this is you know, this Arctic blast we're talking about,
This is expecting to be very very cold right looking
at tomorrow Friday is supposed to be twenty twenty five
degrees at least in the New York area. That's crazy. Now.
I don't know if that's going to force the Senate
and Congress people into weekend over time. You know, Senators,
(05:27):
I don't think they like working a little bit extra,
But we'll see how it goes. Of course, that's going
to trigger some flight cancelations, so I'll keep your posting
on those if I see those. And what I can
say is a pro tip from somebody's done these things
a few times. You got to turn these delays into
dance parties. Right, you bring your headphones, make sure you
have sneakers on. You gotta be comfy. Anyway, if I
(05:48):
have time a little bit later, going to get to
NASA's mission to Mars. Is it ambitious? I think so.
But maybe we could send some of the deep State
belt Way blowhards there first and call it upper fresh Start. Right,
A couple of politicians over on Mars doesn't sound too
bad to me. Now, I want to get an update
to you on Kilmar Abrego Garcia. You know, he's everybody's
(06:10):
favorite legal alien. And this stuff reads like a spine novel,
like the subplot of a crazy spy thriller. And there's
some US visa tweeks that we're gonna learn about smart
borders that hopefully we'll keep the good times rolling and
America and Mi Amigos amidst all the chills, thrills and
(06:31):
tree lighting. We are unbreakable as a people. We need
to be We have to be innovative, We have to
be tough, and I'm gonna say hilariously resilient. Right, you
got to be that too. Anyway, Stay sharp, stay smiling,
and stay proud. We've got a great show for you
tonight at Richveldesk with an SS. If you want to
follow on any of the social media, check out the
(06:52):
website Richvealdesk dot com. There is more to come straight ahead,
don't go anywhere. I'm Rich Faldesk.
Speaker 1 (06:58):
This is America. This is America, all of.
Speaker 4 (07:18):
Them with programs like America at Night with Rich Valdez
and Donald Trump as a guest. Who's gonna watch Late
nine TV?
Speaker 5 (07:23):
Come on?
Speaker 6 (07:24):
Who would want to? I want to listen to you
Rich all the time.
Speaker 4 (07:27):
All right? I mean is welcome back? It is Rich Valdez,
and I want you to hear a little bit of
what eltrom Pto den Aldus Magnus, the forty fifth and
forty seventh President, was saying, El Presidente at the tree
lighting ceremony Thursday. Check this out only season.
Speaker 7 (07:42):
Christians everywhere rejoice at the miracle Bethlehem more than two
thousand years ago, when the Son of God, our Lord
and Savior, Jesus Christ, came down from heaven to be
with us.
Speaker 6 (07:56):
You're right, full of grace and truth. He brought the
gift of God's love into the world and the promise
of salvation for every person and every nation.
Speaker 8 (08:08):
And we just.
Speaker 6 (08:09):
Settled another war today. You saw that with Rwanda and
the Congo. It's been going on for.
Speaker 1 (08:15):
Thirty four years.
Speaker 6 (08:16):
Millions of people killed, could be twenty million, they don't.
Speaker 4 (08:20):
Know what the number is.
Speaker 7 (08:20):
And we just settled it today.
Speaker 6 (08:22):
That was a big one. We're very happy to announce
it on this important day tonight, This beautiful evergreen tree
low's bright on the dark and cold winter night and
reminds us of the words of Gospel of John. In
him was life and that life was the light of
all mankind. Beautiful words. With the birth of Jesus, human
(08:45):
history turned from night.
Speaker 4 (08:46):
Today.
Speaker 6 (08:48):
His word and his example call us to love one another,
to serve one another, and to honor the sacred truth
that every child, especially made in the image of God.
Speaker 9 (09:00):
You're in this whole.
Speaker 4 (09:01):
Amen to that. That is President Trump at the National
Christmas Tree Lighting, reflecting on the miracle of Christ's birth
and announcing that the United States helped broker a peace
agreement between Rwanda and the Democrat Republic of the Congo
that ending a conflict that he noted, raged on for
more than thirty years, taking millions of lives. Kudos to
(09:24):
El Trumpito and all this magnus a presidente for pulling
this thing together, because this is a big deal and
I think an important deal. Check this out.
Speaker 3 (09:34):
Good after mean, everybody the Democratic Republic of Congo to
sign the historic peace and economic agreement that he broke.
Speaker 10 (09:42):
He the agreement being signed includes provisions for the neutralization
(10:03):
of the FDLR and this engagement of forces slash lifting.
Speaker 11 (10:08):
Of We're getting for the United States a lot of
the mineral rights from the Congo as part of it.
They're so honored to be here.
Speaker 4 (10:22):
So are these peace agreements in fact sabotage? Are we
headed in the right direction? Well, it seems like while
the peace deal was signed, one of those things being
noted was again how President Trump said, they spent a
lot of time killing each other and now they're going
to spend a lot of time hugging, holding hands and
taking advantage of the US economically like every other country does.
(10:44):
This comes on the heels of the United States Institute
of Peace being rebranded the Donald J. Trump Institute of Peace,
and rumor has it that on Friday, President Trump might
be receiving a global Peace award, This peace prize coming
from none other than the folks in soccer World FIFA.
(11:07):
Apparently they're gonna have an inaugural peace prize that they issue,
and President Trump's name is at the top of that list.
So we'll keep you posted on that stuff. But I
think this is very promising the stuff that we're seeing
here with Congo. Again, both the leaders of both countries
and their secretaries of State and foreign ministers all went
(11:30):
to the Thursday event with President Trump at the Donald J.
Trump Institute of Peace, which got its new name just
on Wednesday. And again you had leaders from Angola, Burundi, Kenya, Togo,
and Uganda all president at this big event. The name
that I think they're going with for this is the
(11:52):
Washington Accords, at least President Trump said, everybody sort of
likes that name formalizes the terms agreed to back in June,
including a permanency fire, the disarmament of non state forces,
provisions for refugees to return to their homes, and justice
and accountability for those who've committed illegal atrocity, said the President. Now,
(12:12):
a reporter from Angola ask President Trump when Rwanda's troops
would withdraw from the Congo and when they would in
fact see real peace quote unquote, you know alleging that
there is not real peace just yet. Trump responding, I
think you're going to see very quickly. I think you're
going to see things happen very quickly. These two gentlemen
(12:33):
and leaders. They're great leaders, and they're going to prove
that in the upcoming months and years. I think you're
going to see some very immediate results. Now, the fighting
in both of these countries has been reported all week
and on Thursday between Congo's government and rebels that are
thought to be backed by Rwanda. So again, things are
(12:55):
still continuing, but that's to be expected. I think, you know,
you just signed a peace deal. This stuff has to
try go down to the ground. You've got skirmishes, You've
got fires that you're putting out, there's embers that are
still blazing. I get it. I think overall here, these
guys are going to do everything they can to ensure peace.
Why because there's billions and billions of dollars of investment,
global investment, and who doesn't want to make a deal,
(13:18):
Who doesn't want to make some money. Everybody and their
mother wants the ability to trade and become partners with
the United States. That's how China's become a superpower. So
it makes sense for President Trump to kind of use
this as a carrot and stick approach to getting these
people to do his will and say, hey, look here,
(13:38):
let's make a deal. I need you to do this
and then return I'll give you this. This is some
of the best quid pro quote we've seen in a
long time. This is what negotiations are all about. This
is what diplomacy is all about. And I think ultimately,
economic liberty is that which sets us apart in the
United States from everywhere else, and that is what allows
people to truly make it in life. You don't have
(14:00):
to be subject to the life that the life that
you're dealt right the hand that you're dealt in life,
you don't have to. If you have the ability to
go and earn money, you can make a change for
yourself and to me, that's the bottom line. So keep
it locked right here. We're going to continue talking about
the drama that's going on. President Trump getting blasted a
(14:21):
little bit for resting his eyes at a cabinet meeting.
We'll talk about that, plus so much more. There's lots
of clips that I want to play for you. Give
you some reaction to those things, and yeah, keep that
lock right here. I'm Richild does this is America. We
(14:51):
live in a remarkable time in human history right now,
one in which our technology has dramatically improved our living standards.
That's because the people that design and build the modern
wonders that make our lives better are bound by physical reality,
a world in which things either work or they don't work. Unfortunately,
(15:11):
those who oversee our political and educational institutions aren't limited
by these same constraints. Instead, they often implement their agendas
by exploiting people's ignorance on issues like taxes and immigration.
So where do we go to get the facts? Well,
you listen to this as America, But if you're online,
you go to just facts dot com right now and
enter your email. This way you can get free weekly
(15:34):
emails with rigorously documented facts about the most pressing issues
facing our nation, and then share those facts as much
as you can with everyone you know. This is a
time of dire need for truth in America. Our national
dialogue is riddled with fake news and fake facts, and
our country desperately needs a reliable starting point for informed
(15:54):
debate over our nation's future. Our friends at Just Facts
started that organization for such time is this. So join
the battle for truth by signing up right now at

Just facts dot Com.
Speaker 1 (16:15):
This is America. He's got the best head of hair
and podcasting This is America with Rich Valdeniz.
Speaker 12 (16:38):
Today's arrest happened because the Trump administration has made this
case of priority. The total lack of movement on this
case in our nation's capital undermined the public trust of
our enforcement agencies. This cold case languished for four years
(17:02):
until Director Patel and Deputy Director Bongino came to the FBI.
The FBI, along with US Attorney Piro and all of
our prosecutors, have worked tirelessly for months sifting through evidence
that had been sitting at the FBI with the Biden
(17:24):
administration for four long years. Let me be clear, there
was no new tip, there was no new witness, just good,
diligent police work and prosecutorial work. Working as a team
along with atf Capitol Police, Metropolitan Police Department, and of course,
(17:46):
the FBI, we are working every day to restore the
public's trust. We hope that today is a significant step
towards that progress. We'll share more in for nation when
when we can and when it unfolds.
Speaker 4 (18:04):
That is Attorney General Pam Bondi with the breaking news.
Hold on to your hats, amigos. This breaking news just
exploded a little while ago on the scene like fireworks
the finale on the fourth of July, amigos, as rich Valdez,
welcome back, and again we're celebrating justice being served with
a side of sweet irony. On this Thursday, December fourth,
(18:25):
twenty twenty five, the FBI arrested Brian Cole Junior. He
is alleged to be the elusive pipe bomb suspect from
the eve of January sixth, twenty twenty one. Yep, that's
the guy who allegedly stashed the explosives near the RNC
and the DNC headquarters. Those two pipe bombs at one
at each headquarters. And these are actual bombs that worked,
(18:47):
viable bombs that could have turned the capital chaos that
was going on with January sixth and all that into
seriously like a blockbuster disaster. But hey, after nearly five
years of bye and the thumb twiddling that went on
with the FBI, there Trump's dream team swoops in and
cracks the case wide open. Talk about a plot twist
(19:08):
right now. I've got some audio from each and every
person that she mentioned here. She mentioned United States Attorney Piro,
a former judge, Janine. We've got a clip from her.
I got a clip from Dan Bongino as well, and
I want to go ahead and play one of those.
Let's queue that up. Let's get a little bit of
a Jeanine Piro here. I'll jump in eventually. It's a
(19:29):
little bit of a longer clip, but check this out.
Speaker 2 (19:32):
Thank you very much, Attorney General, and you have been
listening to a lot of thank yous and a lot
of gratitude. The reason that we're thanking each other to
the extent that we are today is because we have
seen in this case an incredible collaboration around the clock,
(19:54):
in the middle of the night. It doesn't matter. We
call each other, we make contact. They need a warrant,
they need something, someone wants legal advice. These are the
men and women who never give it up. You hear
about government employees, but I don't know if you really
realize what it is that they do. They are incredible,
(20:19):
and this case is big. Four years ten months and
twenty eight days ago, an individual placed a bomb in
the vicinity of both the RNC and the DNC, and
for that amount of time that individual evaded accountability. Today,
as a result of the cumulative efforts of the men
(20:42):
and women in the FBI and the Police Department and
the Department of Justice, we are finally able to make
an arrest of an individual by the name of Brian Cole.
As the Attorney General is indicated, he is arrested for
sporting and explosive device and interstate commerce as well as
(21:04):
the attempted malicious destruction by means of explosive materials.
Speaker 4 (21:10):
That's a judge, Janine Piro again, the United States Attorney
for the District of Washington, d C. And Attorney General
Pam Bondi. She so far has been a powerhouse and
doing a lot of things, getting taking a lot of
heat right on the Epstein stuff and a bunch of
other things. But she kicked off the victory lap at
the press conference. You heard that good old fashioned police
(21:33):
work for cuffing this thirty year old Virginia loner, mister Cole,
she said pretty clearly when she laid it out earlier
this morning, Brian Cole was arrested, and that's great. Now
where's the evidence? How they get him? They said they
have cell phone pings tracing his path, and how he
was trying to be sneaky, the bomb making goodies in
(21:54):
his mom's basement. The guy's been stockpiling since twenty nineteen.
That's interesting, you know, was it always planned for January sixth,
twenty twenty one? Was there a bigger plan in place?
I mean, it's just interesting to me, right, Also interesting
this man fake Tapper. He called mister Cole a white
(22:16):
man when mister Cole's actually a black man, which I
just thought was an interesting distortion of the facts. Anyway,
Bondi also talked about how the Department of Justice under
the Trump team got this done because it was stalled
under the Biden team. And I think that's a good
(22:38):
thing to point out. Right, finally, you know, you get justice.
MLK said, justice denied? Is justice delayed? Is justice denied?
I think that's right. But we'll see how this turns out.
Speaker 9 (22:50):
Now.
Speaker 4 (22:50):
Right by her side, you have FBI Director Cash Mattel
firing shots at the Biden crew for letting this thing
go unsolved. As long as it did saying, you're not
going to walk into our capital city, put down two
explosive devices and get away with it, He declared, uh,
slamming the previous administrations in action, but tell us all
about defending our way of life. And I'm glad he
(23:13):
is right now. This mystery here has been a Mic
Drock moment for a lot of people. Now we have
a little less you know, there's less shadows going on.
It's a little bit more straight up accountability happening. I
think that Cash Bettel is doing a great job in
the FBI, and that's why he's also taking heat. Then
(23:35):
here's FBI Director Dan Bongino, the deputy director, and this
is good right. He deserves a victory lap on this
one as well. Dan's been out there with the rest
of him and I've got a clip of audio from
him as well.
Speaker 5 (23:49):
Listen to this, folks, You're not going to walk into
our capital city, put down two explosive devices and walk
off in the sunset going to happen. We were going
to track this person to the end of the earth.
There was no way he was getting away. Well, we
didn't have to track him to the end of the earth.
It wound up in Woodbridge, Virginia.
Speaker 4 (24:12):
Outstanding Dan Bongino, and he continued, go ahead and play
the tape.
Speaker 5 (24:16):
I was smiling at you because I certainly remember the moment.
Daren remembers it too, He said, are you sitting down?
He called me on the phone. I said, oh boy,
why sis bad news? And he said, I think we
got him. What exactly that tip was? We're going to
have to pass on that from right now while we're
(24:39):
still there's obviously we're in the prologue of a long book.
This is just the beginning. This is not the end
of the investigation, as you all well know having reported
on these for a long time. There's interviews to be conducted,
the search warrant processing scene is not even done, so
we're at the early stages. So that's the only reason
I hesitate tell you what the exact tip I was.
But yes, that was absolutely the moment, and it was
(25:02):
due to the diligent and incredible work of a team
in the Washington Field office that came in and just
scoured through this over and over and over and over again.
Speaker 6 (25:13):
In general.
Speaker 1 (25:14):
Was it forensic?
Speaker 4 (25:15):
Was it a phone call?
Speaker 1 (25:17):
Was it something about a vehicle?
Speaker 5 (25:20):
I'd rather I will just leave it generally forensic evidence. Yeah,
it's fair enough to say.
Speaker 4 (25:26):
All right that again, Deputy Director Dan Bongino's saying, look,
it's not going to happen about letting bombers room free
celebrate in the arrest as a win for law and order.
Good for him, Dan's keeping it real. In my opinion,
this guy's a Trump supporter who confessed to being disappointed
in the twenty twenty results and believing that it was stolen,
(25:46):
just like I do. And listen, emotions run high in
these things. But pipe bombs. I thought that stuff was
put there by the government, if I'm being honest with you.
So this is a good development. I'm happy to see
what's going on, and I'm hopeful that this is, you know,
the lead that is accurate, and they're following up on
the right stuff. And I think they are got no
(26:06):
reason to doubt this team of people, Bongino, Patel, Bondi, Pierro.
I mean, it's a lot of people, right, they can't
all be wrong. And the FEDS track coals every move,
which I think is pretty good. And he has a
(26:27):
little dog that he walks apparently, and this is good,
very very good. I love it. I love the no
nonsense approach. Outstanding, and let's not forget about us Attorney
Janni Piro painting the hilarious picture of Coal being the
ultimate introvert. I don't think he was that introverted. This
(26:48):
guy's building bombs. I'm not, you know, taking exception here.
I'm just saying. He lives with his mom. He's always
in headphones, strolling with his little dog to seven eleven.
It's like the neighbor you never suspect the bomb building, right,
she said. The quiet individual you would never imagine capable
of building a pipe bomb, she said, revealing the chilling
(27:11):
details of his low key life. Bureau shredded. Senator Mark
Warner's gripes is dumb and I think I have those too,
if you want to hear them. This is a good
thing because warners, he's a realpen Now check this out.
Speaker 8 (27:26):
I think it is good news if this perpetrator.
Speaker 1 (27:30):
Got arrested.
Speaker 8 (27:30):
But I got to tell you, it kind of makes
me looking at this crowd doing a victory lap when
all the senior FBI officials across all key divisions have
been fired for political purposes, When in some field offices
up to forty five percent of the FBI officers who
were doing things like counter tespionage and cyber have been
(27:53):
assigned to do immigration cases. It's a little rich that
they're saying, America, say how much earlier could we have
caught this guy if resources hadn't been diverted.
Speaker 4 (28:05):
Okay, So Jenny and Pierro fire is back at Senator
Warner's saying he's a dumb dumb saying maybe he should
talk about the fact that the Biden administration had this investigation.
You had four years to solve it, and you did it.
She vowed to take this case across the finish line,
crediting Trump's Department of Justice for dusting off the file
that Democrats ignored. Listen, Judge Jenine, in my opinion, you're
(28:26):
a force that keeps swinging. You are the literal hammer
of justice. Super happy that you're there with the rest
of that team. Honestly proud moment I think for many Americans. Look,
I mean, he goes, this isn't just news. This is
a reminder that truth ultimately prevails, even if it takes
a Trump comeback back to Washington right to drain some
(28:47):
of the swamp, to light the fuse on this thing.
The bad guys got got and I love that the
good guys win and we all get to laugh at
the uh, you know, at the fumble that the left
had here over the last four years. So anyway, I mean,
he goes that's the latest on the break of news
with the January sixth pipe bombers suspect. Of course, there's
(29:08):
critics out there saying this doesn't add up, it doesn't
make sense. Former FBI agent Kyle Sarafin is one of them.
Maybe we'll have them on the show to talk about it.
I don't think we'll be able to get Bongino or
Patel or Bondi or Piro or any of them, just
because they do such limited media now that they're you know,
in the administration. I'll get you as many perspective on
this as I can. My personal thought, I believe they
(29:29):
got their guy, you know, I don't think that they're
making a mistake here anyway.
Speaker 13 (29:33):
More.
Speaker 4 (29:33):
To come straight ahead, Stay vigilant, stay victorious. I'm Valdees.
Speaker 1 (29:39):
This is America.
Speaker 4 (29:43):
Now. For weeks you've heard me talking about Noom dot
com slash. This is America, Noom dot com slash. This

President Donald Trump thinks it's an honor to speak with
Rich Valdez.
Speaker 1 (30:52):
Very good.
Speaker 4 (30:56):
The honor is all yours, conservative time with a dash
of Sofrito. Now here's Rich Valdez. All right, I mean
he goes, welcome back, Rich Valdez, keeping your company tonight
and this continues. ABC News reporting now that Ed trumpito
(31:16):
was right, the administration telling the truth. Some vindication here,
it seems to me. ABC News Martha Radditz giving a
report that these quote unquote fishermen were not fishermen, but
in fact Narco terrorists that were trafficking drugs, and we're
trying to call in reinforcements. Listen to this.
Speaker 14 (31:36):
Tonight new information. According to a source familiar with the incident,
the two survivors climbed back onto the boat after the
initial strike. They were believed to be potentially in communication
with others and salvaging some of the drugs. Because of that,
it was determined they were still in the fight and
valid targets. A JAG officer was also giving legal advice.
Speaker 4 (32:00):
Bag officer was giving legal advice. How about that now?
Stephen Miller, Deputy White House Chief of Staff, he weighs
in on this, giving his reaction on the Fox News channel.
Check this out.
Speaker 13 (32:11):
But it just doesn't get more crystal clear than that.
The mission is take out the boat, stop the drugs,
keep this vessel and its cargo from reaching our shore
using lethal means and our amazing military. The heroes of
the United States Armed Forces did exactly that. President Trump,
(32:32):
Secretary Haigseeth, and this entire government are committed to finally
using our military to defend our people, our borders, our family,
our culture, our history, our heritage, to defend the United States.
We're not going off running around the Middle East trying
to build the democracies in caves and deserts and in
distant sands that have never known democracy. We're using the
(32:55):
military to protect American security, American prosperity, American lives right here,
where we live, where our children.
Speaker 4 (33:04):
Live, outstanding, really well put. Now. Of course, Steven Miller's right,
and JD. Vance also put a great tweet out. I
wish I had it up in front of you, but
he basically said, this right that American presidents have to
protect this country and have you know, strikes against others
without congressional approval has been used by every president you know,
(33:28):
since you know, since Jimmy Carton, I'm pretty sure all
of them. But that was the effect of the tweet,
and he said, and none of them were problematic except
for Trump. Right, It becomes a problem now when Trump
wants to blow up a boat in international waters because
there are drugs on it, and he's been clear about that.
(33:48):
But Congressman Heines, you know, good old Hines, he is
weighing in on this as well, and he had to
finally admit, look, I got this whole thing wrong. Listen
to this.
Speaker 8 (34:00):
The admiral confirmed that there had not been a kill
them all order and that there was not an order
to grant no quarter.
Speaker 4 (34:08):
So oh, that's all you've got. Well, of course this
exonerates hegset, That exonerates the president, It exonerates everyone involved
from making up the stories that they made up to
trying to do this damage that they've done and make
it worse than it was. So kudos to the Trump
(34:30):
team again, not to be sick a fantic, but just
to really give credit where it's due, to show you that,
look at how hard they have to work, not only
to do the right thing, but then when they do
the right thing, you've got people on the left they're
trying to slow them down to make it look like
they're doing the wrong thing. I'm happy when they do
do the right thing and we're able to all see
it and celebrate it and applaud it, because that's important. Now,
(34:50):
whether it's drug boats, or deporting illegal aliens in different areas,
especially the ones like in Somalia. I should say the
ones in Minnesota that are Somalian because man, let me
tell you, this is out of control. You've got the mayor,
they're weighing in on things. Listen to this, Jacob Fray,
Mayor of Minneapolis.
Speaker 3 (35:12):
It's obviously disturbing that the President of the United States
would use terms like garbage to talk about an entire
community that are Americans. Somali Americans are Americans. They make
Minneapolis a better place and we're proud to have these
Americans in our city. And I think the other thing
(35:34):
that we ought to look at is the fact that
if they're just indiscriminately going after people, due process is violated,
Habeas corpus is violated. The entire Constitution is in and
of itself being thrown in a garbage. So you want
to use the term garbage, that's exactly what Donald Trump
is doing right now to the Constitution of the United States.
Speaker 4 (35:53):
Sarah, I'd like to call your question to question your
patriotism and call that into question, because I think right
now you're serving up a level of garbage in the
area of patriotism. That is disappointing. Mayor Fray, unbelievable, this guy,
and he's not alone. He's joined by ilhan Omar. She's back.
(36:13):
She's saying. Look, Trump has always been bigoted in these
things that he says and does. Check this out.
Speaker 9 (36:18):
Yeah, I mean, I'm not shocked because we know that
the president oftentimes resorts to very bigoted's inophobic, islamophobic, racist
rhetoric when he is trying to escape goat and deflect
from the actual failures that he has himself. We know
(36:39):
that this administration has not fulfilled majority of the promises
that they've made, whether it is bringing costs down, whether
it is the tariffs that are decimating businesses in the
United States, whether it is the possible war crimes that
his Defense secretary is committing. And so to me, it
(37:02):
is important for us one to remind folks that we
are Americans. We're not going anywhere, and we will continue
to be in this country. And two that Minnesultans are
resilient and we will continue to thrive.
Speaker 4 (37:17):
That again, il han Omar, better known as some People,
did something right. Remember her. Listen, if she's a citizen,
she can stay here. She could do it. She's got
to do. President Trump said his peace, and he said, look,
I think these are garbage people. They don't add any
value to the United States. He said what he said.
I don't think he's trying to go back on it.
(37:39):
And I agree in large part. You know, when you
have people that are committing fraud sending the money that
they're stealing, siphoning from taxpayers across the country into this
one particular neighborhood so they can funnel that money to
terrorist organization known as Al Shabab. Hey, you don't think
that's garbage. I think garbage is a nice way of
putting it. At least those are my thoughts. Anyway, Amingos,
(38:02):
you keep it locked right here. We're going to continue
with more straight ahead. Don't go anywhere. I'm Rich Valdez.
Speaker 1 (38:07):
This is America. This is America, but.
Speaker 4 (38:17):
In glace or primal Norodos, Bara, richvald is e s
nos America. Awara, All right, Amingos, welcome back, Rich VALDEZK
keeping your company this evening, Thursday night, lots to discuss.
I want to lighten things up a little bit. I
(38:37):
want to get into a conversation on dating and what
to expect in that world a couple of funny stories.
There's always, of course, I love to look at Dear
Abby and kind of do a play on that called
Dear Richie. And if you have any Dear Richie stuff,
you know, topics, questions, things you want advice on from
somebody like me that's totally not qualified to give you
(38:59):
such an advice, definitely send me a message on one
of my social media's a private message DM. Whatever you
want to do, let me know and I will go
ahead and try and include it in the next show
because that's always a lot of fun for me. But
I saw this clip that I wanted to play for
you because you know, I thought it made some sense
here it is.
Speaker 15 (39:19):
You know, people say I would die for my partner.
I love them more than anything in this world. I
would literally lay down and die for them. Okay, but
would you put your phone down when they're telling you
about your day? Do you take their hand when you're
walking down the sidewalk with them. Do you notice when
they come home from work and their mood is a
little off. Do you take the time to stop and
(39:40):
ask them about it, to remember the little things that
they tell you to care that's love. That's love as
an action. That's what keeps connection. Love is a feeling
will be fleeting if we don't follow it, follow it through,
follow it up with action.
Speaker 4 (39:55):
Yeah, people say, so love is a feeling, you got
to follow it up with action. Listen, I believe in that.
I think you've got to be there for people. You've
got to show up and not always easy to do, right,
especially if you're kind of aloof like me and you
do the whole ADHD lifestyle where you're just kind of
so busy doing a million different things. You don't know
what you're not knowing, and you don't realize you're not
(40:17):
doing what you're not doing. And this obviously creates problems
in any relationship. And I know I'm not alone in this.
I know there's a lot of people that have those issues.
And one of the things I want to talk about
is that what that looks like, what that impact can be.
And I'm looking at this deer Abby here, I've been
(40:41):
in a relationship for seven years, but I think she
might be the wrong girl. Man, how did it take
you seven years to figure that out? Anyway, listen to this,
dear Abby again. I'm going to give you the deer
Richie version of this as well. So dear Abby and
deer Richie. I'm a man in my seven and these,
it writes this guy. He says his girlfriend is eight
(41:03):
years younger than him. They were first introduced forty two
years ago by relatives who believed they would be a
good match. I was only a child when she was
from a broken home. We dated and liked each other,
but there were communication problems. I was independent as a
younger man and dated, and she was devoted to her
(41:24):
mother and cared for her until her passing. We reconnected
and started dating seven years ago. We live an hour apart,
and I would love to drive to spend a weekend
with her. Every two weeks. We talk every day. Things
were good. I asked if she would be interested in
marriage someday. She said she would consider it. A few
(41:45):
years later, I offered to buy a ring to show
that she belonged to me, and she became upset. I
backed off. A year ago, she suddenly said I shouldn't
come anymore, shouldn't visit her anymore. When I asked why,
she told me I've said many things in the past
that upset her. She said, I poke fun at things
(42:06):
she likes to do and made comments that were intimate
in nature. I asked why she hadn't brought these issues
to my attention sooner. She said she should have, but
just didn't know how to do it. I kid around
a lot, I even poke fun at myself, but I
never intended to hurt anyone's feelings. I apologize and suggested
relationship therapy. She believed we could just work right through this.
(42:31):
She said she had to build up the trust again.
We took a vacation, but nothing really changed. Simple things
like holding hands don't seem to interest her anymore. I
don't have years to waste. Do I have the wrong
girl here? Signed frustrated in Ohio. Now, before I get
(42:51):
into Abby's response, I want to give you my response, Sir,
something wrong with you? If you're in a situation where
the girl doesn't like you, you need to get out
of the situation, not sit there and try and begg
her to like you. She's just going to lose respect
for you, resent you, and it's going to be worse. Now,
that's my advice. I agree that this guy's probably like me.
(43:14):
He's very aloof He has no idea that he's pissing
people off. No idea that his jokes and his self
deprecating humor and whatever it is is bothering other people.
And I've only come to realize these things recently. It's
not that I'm some sort of dramatically self aware person, no,
sennor No. What really happens here is that you start
(43:34):
to find people that are just as annoying as you
are to the rest of the world. And then you're like, man,
that's annoying. Oh my gosh, am I like that. And
you know, for some of us like me, these things
happen in your forties, but prior to that, I thought
everything was hunky doory. Anyway, this is the response from
dear Abby. She says, Yep, you sure do. The lady
(43:56):
isn't physically attracted to you, and she can't bring her
to communicate when you are. The problems that could be
fixed period the end, she does continue, though, you can
do better than this, and the time to start widening
your dating circle is right now. Well listen, I think
(44:17):
that I think she's right kind of what I said.
He's got to get out, he's got to go right now.
She doesn't like him and It's clear she's trying to
be nice. I had an X like this. I was
head over heels and she was just trying to be
polite to not say, hey, I'm done with you. I
think you're a jerk. Right, that just happens. That's how
(44:40):
it goes sometimes, right because you don't realize what you
don't realize. Many of us are that level of aloof
and sometimes you get the other side of this. Right,
what's the other side, Well, the lady who dumps the
guy for doing right instead of ignoring it and then
(45:01):
just coming out and saying I don't want to see
you no more. The one that sees a pattern and
jumps on it. Right, This woman dumped the guy who
repeatedly canceled plans on her at the last minute. Now
some people are calling her too harsh. This piece is
in People magazine, and this was a Reddit thread. The
woman explained that when they first started seeing each other,
(45:22):
everything felt very easy. She explained on Reddit how she
ended a casual relationship after her date repeatedly canceled plans
at the last minute. That is messed up. You get ready,
especially for me. I gotta shave, I get ready. You
gotta get you know, it takes a while. It takes
me out, an hour, half hour, whatever it is. If
I'm not going out, I don't need to do all that.
I don't want to shave. I work in radio, right,
(45:44):
I do TV once or twice a week. Those days
you shave. So for the most part, if I'm not
going to see humans that uh, you know, up close
and personal, I'm not shaving. I'm not going through all that.
So I get it. I get how that would bother
me too. Now. In response, he accused her of being
too harsh, and some of her friends say that she
(46:06):
should have given him another chance. She wondered on the
Reddit thread where she posted this stuff if she'd overreacted,
but some of the commenters on there say that she
was right to expect basic respect and consistency from him,
and I think I tend to agree there. Here's one thing.
To blow it once, maybe even twice, but to make
(46:29):
it a pattern, You're just sending a message, whether you
want to or not, whether you intend to or not,
I don't respect you, and I don't respect your time.
And nobody likes that. Now. One woman is questioning whether
she made the right call. After anything sort of guy
she'd been dating, and same situation last minute cancelations. Now,
(46:52):
these are young people, twenty two years old, explaining that
they first started seeing each other and everything was nice.
Over time I got sloppy canceling, oftentimes an hour before
they were supposed to meet. Come on, who does that right?
So what's happening here? If you're canceling an hour before
you're supposed to meet with somebody, sounds like you wanted
(47:13):
to be there, but you didn't measure your time. Well,
you didn't realize it was a half hour drive plus
the I don't know if you have, you know, twenty
minutes in the shower, a few more minutes to you know,
get your clothes ready, maybe iron them. You're looking at
an hour to get, you know, from door to door
with all the prep. So if this guy's got fifteen
(47:35):
minutes until it's showtime for him and he needs an
hour's worth of prep, clearly he's gonna either show up
late or he's gonna say, you know, I don't want
to do that. Let me just tell her, Hey, something
came up. Sorry, can't go either way. It shows the
lack of prioritization and an inability even if it's a
medical one, but an inability to use your executive functions
(47:55):
in your mind to get things done, to get it
on the calendar, to actually see it through. So I'm
not mad at her there either. I get it, people
are busy, But anyway, she says, over time his behavior shifted.
He started canceling plans more frequently. Other times he'd claim
something came up or that a friend needed him. At first,
(48:19):
she just tried to be patient, saying, you know what,
people have lives and bad days and unexpected things do happen.
But what started as an occasional excuse quickly became the norm.
So it's either that or the guy's got a girlfriend
or a wife and he's just like, oh, the ball
in Shane wants me to go. Hey, something came up, right,
who knows? Who knows what type of situation this is? Anyway,
(48:43):
there were several days where she had already gotten ready
rearrange your schedule and turned down other invitations, only for
him to cancel with little explanation and even less time
until their meeting time. She still kept trying to be understanding,
what a sweet I need a girl like that? Anyway,
After yet another cancelation, this time without any real context.
(49:05):
She said she hit her limit. She told him she
didn't think they could continue seeing each other because it
felt like he no longer respected her time. See he
told you. He didn't take it well. According to the post,
he accused her of being too harsh and giving up
too easily. A couple of her friends also suggested that
she should have given him another chance or communicated more clearly,
(49:28):
but she said she did communicate and the behavior just
never changed. And she's probably right. So I don't know.
I'm curious to know. What do you guys do? What
do you think? Because now she's left wondering if she
overreacted or if she's being too picky. And part of
what she said was she's not expecting the perfect person.
(49:50):
She didn't expect perfection, but she did expect basic respect
and consistency. Is there anything wrong with that? I don't
think so anyway. Since putting her situation on Reddit, hundreds
of people have chimed in to share their thoughts on
the situation. A lot of the Reddit commenters overwhelmingly took
her side, saying she made the right choice. Good for you.
When user comment, it's saying you clearly are not a
(50:13):
priority for him. I tend to agree with that. Don't
wait around for someone who disrespects your time. There are
better guys out there. That's probably true. And I say
that just because I could be that guy. I could
be the guy that's not planning. Well, if you're a
pretty girl and she's you know, getting all girl pretty
for you, doing her hair, getting a manicure, petticure, whatever
it is, right, things that aren't cheap and take a
(50:35):
lot of effort, you know, putting all the ten different
creams that girls put on after the shower and all
that stuff, and the thirty minutes of doing hair, all
those things, and you don't have the decency to show
up or show up on time. Do you really deserve
to have an audience with those people? I think not.
I think not. Anyway, she continues saying, can't something once
(51:00):
is understandable, but multiple cancelations at the last minute is
disrespectful of my time. And it's already showing me who
you are. Unreliable and I'm just not into that. By
that's what another person said. Someone else replied, you need
to move on from this guy. After the initial excitement
of meeting someone new. It's kind of worn off on
(51:21):
this guy. Now that you've told him it's not working.
Maybe his interest is picked up again, maybe not. You
deserve to have someone interested in you all the time
and be the most considerate version of themselves, which is
always making time for you. I tend to agree with
that too, and inasmuch as it's real right and inasmuch
(51:41):
as you know you're not a NASA astronaut that has
to be on the road or has to be building
rocket ships and stuff like that. If those are things
that are priorities for you, then you have to do them.
But then don't make plans that you can't keep anyway.
I want to know your thoughts on this again at

All right up, he goes, Welcome back. It's Rich Valdez
VALDESK with an s at Rich Valdesk on all of
the social media. Thank you for being with me this evening,
and I do want to get your thoughts on that,
so I'm looking forward to your comments as we hit
the weekend tomorrow. By the way, we've got Stephen A. Smith,
this legendary sportscaster who I've interviewed in the past. It
was a really fun conversation I had with him. But
(53:15):
he's going to be on the View with the ladies
of the View, and he's always unpredictable. You don't know
if he's going to lean to the left or lean
to the right, because he's one of those guys that
you know, has opinions that kind of varied. He's really
he's a straight shooter. He's an independent and I really
enjoy his commentary and conversation with him as well. But yeah,
(53:36):
Steven A. Smith on there with whoo being the crazies,
the locas on the view looking forward to that. Plus
we've got what else is happening tomorrow Friday? You've got Oh,
you've got the rumor? Has it that El Trompito's and
all this magnus, the forty fifth and forty seventh president
of these United States is scheduled to win the FIFA
(53:59):
Peace Prize. Yep, Apparently the Soccer Federation fi FA. FIFA well,
looks like they're going to have an inaugural ceremony for
this World Peace Prize, and as I understand the rumors,
(54:19):
they're considering giving it to eletrom Pitos and all of
this magnus. So I'll keep you posted on that. I
don't know the extent of that or not, but I
do know that President Trump should win the Nobel Prize.
President Trump should win the FIFA Prize. Somebody should send
me some free tickets to FIFA. I would like to go.
I've never been to a World Cup game. I think
(54:42):
that's pretty cool and I'm curious to know your thoughts
if you have been to one of those I have
not anyway, there's the view, there's this, there's that. I
wanted to talk about a couple of things here, because ultimately,
whether it's politics or anything else that people want to
(55:03):
get into in their discussions, you have to have some
sort of a semblance of reality, some sort of a
basis for truth where we agree. Right. I can't argue
or have a discussion with somebody who says, well, you know,
I'm actually flying while you're standing on the floor, but
yet I see eye to eye with you. That doesn't work, right,
You can't. I can't. I can't do that doesn't work,
(55:29):
doesn't fit my brain. I need to understand where you're
coming from. Hopefully you understand where I'm coming from. That's
how we get along. We communicate, we talk, and we
try to get to a place of understanding. But I
think too much of that is fallen by the wayside.
It's begun to dissipate in today's culture where we don't
have such strong communication anymore. So I'm curious to always
(55:53):
hear from you all, from we the people that want
to weigh in and let us know a little bit
about what's going on going on in your world. In
your life, so you know what to do. You know
how to find me at Rich Faldes on all the
social media at Rich Valdes And I want to again
remind you my closing remarks here. Right. I always say
(56:16):
we got to stand for something as Americans, right, because
it's good to have fun and games. And I enjoy
having fun and games on this show, but I also
enjoy the I guess, the the shared responsibility we have
to be informed patriots, the shared responsibility that we have
to ensure that we're doing the right thing with everything
(56:38):
that we've got, that which we've been entrusted with, we're
doing right. And well that doesn't matter if it's your time,
your talent, your treasure, whatever right, whatever it is that
you've got, you got to do the right thing with it,
because you know we're in I don't know, the first
week of December is almost over a month from now.
(56:58):
We're going to see how many people have held it
steady in that first week of their New Year's resolutions.
And that's why we have to You got to stand
for something, right. I always talk about that you stand
for nothing, you'll fall for anything. That's why we got
to stand for something and It's one of the most
(57:20):
important things I think we'll ever do, or we'll ever
talk about, is standing up for oneself. Then there's the
question of loving America. Do we love America or do
we not? Are we indifferent towards America or not. I
can tell you there are times where I'm not happy.
There's times where I know that our government did something
that isn't right and because of whichever administration was involved,
(57:43):
and oftentimes these are matters of historical record. But you
look at that and you say, I can't sit here
and hate my country because of the mistakes it's made.
At the same time, you want to make sure that
you equip yourselves so that you don't make these same
mistakes again. And it's that place, that happy place that
(58:04):
I think that we all need to remain in and
live in in order to be effective. So to that,
I say us start approximont, take care, good night, and
God bless you America. And remember you got to stand
for something, because if you stand for nothing, you'll fall
for anything. And the only thing necessary for evil to
(58:27):
triumph is for good people like you to sit there
and do nothing. So make sure you do something. Make
sure you take a stand. Make sure you're an informed
patriot doing the right thing, following in the footsteps of
those that informed the founding of this country, Sir Edmund
Burke and the writers that they, you know, relied upon
(58:48):
