Speaker 4 (00:27):
What's up America. I am Rich Valdes Valdez with an
ask at Rich valdest on all of the social media.
Welcome to the Monday edition of the program. Happy to
be here, blessed to be with you. You know the
phone number eighty seven seven Valdes one, eight seven seven
valdest one if you want to join me. You're liberty
loving Latino amigo, right here seventeen blocks away from Madison

(00:48):
Square Garden, here in our Times Square studios on the
phone for our late night national town hall conversation. And
I am back. I am back, feeling pretty refreshed from
a few days off for spring break. And I'm also
going to be taking a few more days off because
of a conference I have to attend in Europe. That's
coming up in a few days. But first I want
to get into what a weekend it was. Lots of

(01:09):
things going on. I was on news Max a little
while ago on the Todd Starnes Show. We were talking
about this tweet that was put out by President Trump
coming to the defense of none other than the great One,
Mark Levin. And I'm going to get to that in
a moment, because I thought it was a worthy thing
to discuss. A matter of fact, I'll get to it now.
And I'll say this, there's a lot of talk about

(01:30):
a lot of things. Those of you who have been
listening to my show for a long time, you see
this already happening, right You've seen it happening. You've seen
my opposition to what is now being called the black
pillars or the woke Reich, as Mark Levin puts it.
I've called them what they are, populists right there, Johnny

(01:50):
come lately'es. And I don't begrudge them in any way.
I'm just saying, if you tell me we're going into battle,
who am I gonna trust? I'm gonna trust a truck
and true conservative like the great One Mark Levin. Mark's
positions haven't changed since I first heard him on the
radio on a Sunday afternoon on WABC nearly twenty years ago.
They've never changed because he stands on principle. That's what

(02:14):
I like to do as well. Now, some people go
with what is the popular thing to think, right. Some
of those people may be hosts that were once on MSNBC,
then on Fox News, and you think, how could somebody change.
Some people have nuanced opinions, some people say that the
party left them whatever. All I can tell you is this,

(02:39):
I'm not trying to take shots at anybody. I am
just saying, when it comes to me and who I'm
going to go into my political battles with, I'm going
in with somebody that I know I can trust, not
somebody who says, you know, I like six out of
ten of Trump's things, or I like four out of
ten of Trump's things. That's fine for you. It's his
job to build consensus. It's his job to get liberals

(03:01):
on board. It's his job to get conservatives on board,
moderates on board, everybody right, progressives even, that's his job,
and he did it. He cut into some of the
Bernie Bros. Some of the Bernie Bros. Are very anti war,
just like Trump is. So guess what they like him
when he becomes somebody that has to defend the United
States and take out Iran. And when I say defend

(03:22):
the United States, I'm talking about defending America's position on
the planet, our position of strength. Iran is drastically trying
to undercut the position of strength that the United States maintains.
When they do that by sponsoring terrorism through hesbo Lah,

(03:43):
through many of their other proxy groups, it's our job
to push back, and we have right. We have for
forever since I was a little kid. I can't remember
the last time that I've heard anything positive coming out
of Iran. I've never met in Aian that was like, oh,
you know, I freaking think Iran's the best. It's fantastic.

(04:04):
Those Malas man, what they've done with the country. I've
never heard that in my life. I don't even think
the people that support the Malas have even heard anything
like that, right, So I understand what it is now.
I say all of that to say there are some
people that feel like, Look, I like Trump, and I
don't like him anymore because he's That's okay, you don't

(04:24):
have to vote for him again. Haha, that's a joke, right,
You were never going to be able to vote for
him again. This is why he's doing what he's doing.
He's using his political capital extraordinarily wisely in my opinion. Yeah,
is he giving Marco Rubio, jd Vance the rest of
those guys a hard way to go? Sure? First of all,
jd Vance never had that position, right, And I salute
him for his service to the country, right, being a

(04:46):
marine and all of his service, God bless him. But
I know that he by and large was always from
that crew, that crew of no more war crew. I
don't believe you can run this country that way. I
think you have to be able to run this country
by saying, look, we will get into more wars. We
don't want to get into more wars. Don't push our
hand to get into more wars. But if you're going

(05:08):
to continue your relentless pursuit for a nuclear weapon, then
we have to do our job as the global police. Now.
I know many of you think, oh, come on, rich now,
you're a neo Khon warhawk globalist. Yes, I've always been one.
I've always believed that the United States must maintain that position.
The minute we see that we become number two. How
do you not become number two? You stay number one.
We've forever had China and Russia, and Aron is a

(05:31):
third there right, trying to get at us, to move
us off our global position as the leader of the
free world, and we've maintained our position. Joe Biden seated
so much of that territory. Anyway, I'm not going to
stay on my soapbox here forever. I am going to
say this. Look, it's a necessary thing. Any of you
that have a gun in your house for home protection,
it's not there so you can keep it in a
lock box, never oil it, never use it. It's there

(05:54):
for one purpose, right, and I'm going to tell you
the purpose, whether you agree with me or not. The
gun is there to end life. It's not there to
scare people. It's not there for you to hunt, although
hunting involves the ending of life. It's not there for
you to have a false sense of security. It's there
for you to have the real sense of security that

(06:14):
if someone comes in to hurt you, your family, to
end your life, to damage your property, that you can
defend yourself by ending their life. This is in Hollywood.
Nobody here has the training to hit a knee cap.
This is why the police don't train for that. Any
gun training you've done Center Mass right, If you're lucky,

(06:36):
you get to in the body, one of the head. Anyway.
I don't mean to sound grim, but a drill is
to make holes. You changed a bit, it will push
in a screw or it'll take out a screw. That's
what drills do. Guns they shoot bullets for the purpose
of ending life. That's it, and don't make any bones

(06:56):
about it. That is the purpose. That's a tool that
you use to keep your family, your property, and the
lives of people around you safe. Well, it's the same
way when you're the United States. We have to take
this responsibility seriously and we have to say, hold on
a second. My job here is being the biggest guy
on the block. I've got to make sure that these
people who have proven their intent by way of opening

(07:19):
their parliamentary session saying death to America, death to Israel,
showing what they can do by funding the houthis by
funding has Bulock, we know exactly what they're all about.
By funding hamas we've seen this time it again, they
kill people that's what they do. They kill people, in
particular Jews and anybody else that they don't like, like Americans.

(07:40):
So whether it was the two hundred Semidd troops that
were killed in Lebanon many years ago, or it was
the people on October seventh when they attacked Israel, or
it was anyone of a number of attacks that we've seen.
I tink over two hundred US troops that have brain
damage traumatic brain injuries because of what the Houthi Rosible
have done. This is well documented that they will take

(08:03):
every shot they can take, and the second they have
such a device like a nuclear warhead, of course they're
coming after either Israel or US. Why wouldn't they. They're
doing absolutely everything they can right now to maintain relevance.
So you don't have to tell me twice that. If
Eran is even hinting that after the disaster in fourdoh FRDW,

(08:27):
the big mountain hideout where they had their nukes, if
they're still continuing even running their mouths about this, then yes,
go for it. Do not wait until the guy pulls
out the gun and it's in your face and you're
in a standoff. No, you see him reaching for the waistband.
Shoot first, ask questions later. That's how you stay alive.
We have people that we have to protect a country.

(08:48):
You have a family. The only way you stay number
one is making sure you're not number two. I'll be
right back. Don't go anywhere. I'm Rich Aldees.

Speaker 5 (08:55):
This is America. This is a Marria. He's brown, he's bald,
and he's breaking it down.

Speaker 4 (09:13):
Oh he's still has some what's his dad?

Speaker 5 (09:15):
Rich Valdez?

Speaker 4 (09:17):
All right, he goes, Welcome back. It's rich Valdez. Valdez
with an ass at. Rich valdesk on all of the
social media, and I get the opportunity to share some
of my favorite moments in life, you know, like my
going is on, not like my favorite moments of life
like becoming a dad and things like that. But I'm
talking about you know, like over the weekend, I had
the opportunity to go to the police benefit Galla for

(09:40):
an organization called Blue Lives Matter. NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani
was the keynote speaker. It was great to catch up
with him and so many great, great people. The family
of Detective Islam, who was the police officer that was
killed during a terrorist attack in the New York City

(10:00):
just some months ago. His family was honored and they
come to the support and aid of the families of
fallen police officers. And I was greatly moved by the
story of a little boy named Jacob. Was it Julian,
excuse me, Julian Galloway. His dad is a cop out
in Texas and made the acquaintance of some of the

(10:22):
NYPD guys that are involved with Blue Lives Matter, and
they invited him down here. The little boy ten years old.
God rest his soul. He's not with us anymore. He
was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and he was invited
to New York and they took him to the New
York State Police Barracks, to the New Jersey State Police Barracks,

(10:42):
a walk through through the airport with the port authority police,
with NYPD on the road doing a roll call with them.
I mean, he just visited so many different police departments
because it was his dream to become a cop. And
just a precious child, a beautiful family. I got to
sit at the table mom and dad, and obviously, as
somebody who you know speaks as much as I do,

(11:03):
you'd think I'm never at a loss for words. I
can tell you I had no words for them, and
I told them such I said, hey, I have no words,
but you people inspired me. You're very strong. God bless you.
A beautiful family, great kid. They've played this gorgeous video.
And normally I don't talk about this moshie stuff because
you know, gets me misdy eyed. But I'll say this,
that kid is a hero. In my book is family,

(11:24):
We're heroic. And how they handled losing a ten year
old child when they have two other children and it
was just a beautiful moment. Then the wake up call
for me was, Man, how dare I ever ever ever
complain again? I don't have the moral standing to do it.

(11:46):
My children are healthy for the most part. I am healthy.
I could be in a bad financial situation and still
be in a better situation than somebody that's dying or
just died of brain cancer. Right. You could be in
a lot lot of situations. You know, you might have
just gotten into a fender bender, gotten into you, name it,
whatever you want to pout about. Point was, it put

(12:10):
life in perspective for me, and it really gave me
a necessary dose of gratitude that I think I always
need in order to maintain humbleness or humility as the
right word, and I wanted to share that with you.
I was probably gonna share it a little bit later,
but now seem like the right time. By the way,
Rudy Giuliani man sharp as ever eighty I think he's
eighty two or he's going to be eighty two. God

(12:31):
bless him. He looked terrific. He was there doing a
heck of a job with his speech, and it was
just great to hear him. And you know, the elder Statesman,
you've got to really take your hat off to these
guys because they honestly are in a position that we
won't be in maybe ever, And the closest will ever

(12:52):
be is when we reach that age. Right, So, Rudy
Giuliani being I don't know, thirty five years older than me,
I think if that math is right, yeah, thirty five
years older than me. This is a man that's lived
a whole nother life and he's able to share what
he did in that life. And it's great because he

(13:12):
gets to juxtapose these things as United States Attorney for
the Southern District of New York, as what's the role
he had the Deputy Attorney General during the Reagan years, right,
so being in Washington, being in New York, putting away
the mob, taking on FARK, the Colombian terrorist organization, taking

(13:34):
on all sorts of things in his career, and it's
amazing to see. And the speech he gave was just
so great about his appreciation for law enforce enforcement, which
of course I also share an echo, but also about
the threat that the radicalization of the Islamic faith poses

(13:57):
not just to America but really to the world, and
how in the future I think people are going to
look back at this time, and just like we look
back at ending communism through the World War or through
Reagan's work to end the Cold War, people are going
to look back at this time where President Trump is

(14:19):
doing what he's doing, where President Trump is showing the
leadership that I think few people even understand. I mentioned
the other day and I'll mention it again briefly. My
friend Ruben, the Cuban you guys know him. He's the
one who came here from Cuba from Havana, Cuba to
Key West, Florida on a jet ski five and a
half hours with a Garmin GPS. He was not the driver,

(14:41):
and Rubin was and is a Trump hater, but he's
Cuban and he loves his country. And the other day
he told me, he said, you know what, Richie, I
think you're right. And I said, oh about what? And
he said, well, you know, you said that Trump had
to do all these things in order to do what
he's doing. He said, honestly, I see it now. He
said he had to refill the strategic reserve when he did,

(15:04):
he had to first take out Venezuela when he did,
so that we would have access to gas, because he
knew that Iran would react by closing the straight up
Hormuz and that gasces crisis would go through the roof,
he said. And it seems like he really had a
very well thought out plan here and he executed it.

(15:27):
And absolutely he executed it. I mean, this is this
is to me a master class in political gamesmanship and
statesmanship in geopolitical strategy. People love to shortchange Trump, but
let me tell you, I don't know anybody else who's
ever taken on around like this. People have been afraid
for years. Why because they had people sleepers in Mexico.

(15:49):
They got sleepers all over the news in Argentina right
now is talking about sleepers all over all over the
South of Maria Serican continent. So just imagine that that's
how pervasive their network is, because that's how the communists work.
And make no mistake, they are at heart Marxists. They

(16:11):
believe in the revolution, so they align themselves with these people.
The Venezuelans will be the first ones to tell you, yes,
we have Hesbalah. They're in Argentina, they're in Venezuela, they're
in Colombia. Because these guys all work together. General Blaine
Holt was on this program, I don't know, right before
the Iranian strike, and he shared with us that the

(16:35):
cartels are sending their people to get wartime experience to Ukraine,
working with the same exact mercenaries sometimes even with the
markings that say Ukraine on them. Mike Wagner group and
others that are out now in Mexico. So let it
come as no surprise these guys birds of a feather, right,

(16:57):
they all do flock together. So Trump realizing this first
thing he had to do is make really good friends
with these people, make sure he had some allies where
in South America. Javier Milay, the new governor, a new
mayor of mayor president of Chile in Central America with

(17:19):
Naib Bukeheley in El Salvador. These steps had to be
taken so that Trump could do what he had to do.
Then he went and made more alliances. Right, he couldn't
make alliances per se with NATO, but he made sure
he got people on board shoring up what he could.
Then he took it abroad Middle East and said, look,

(17:41):
the enemy of my enemy is my friend who wants
to be friends. We're about to choke this thing, and
you guys aren't going to sell any oil, but let's
make some deals. You help me, I help you. We're
going to take out Aron for good. He's been planning
this forever. This is true legacy making behavior for who
Maybe for him to hit a history book when he's

(18:03):
not around anymore, for people to pay him accolades or
hate on him, But who really benefits from this? I
do my children, do people to have another thirty or
forty years to live on this planet. Kudos to Trompito
for that. Kudos to bb Netanyaho. By the way, he's
not dead, right, they said, maybe he's dead. Maybe he's dead.
Maybe he's not dead. At least from what I can see,

(18:24):
he's not dead. Bibe Netanyah, who is scheduled to be
at a conference in Budapest, Hungary, this weekend. I think
it's rare that a prime minister will leave the command
center for a speech with one of his strongest allies
in Europe during a war. But as they say, this

(18:45):
war is ramping down, right, it's starting to cool off,
taking out ninety percent of the Navy and the Air Force,
and the surface to ground missiles of the Uranians of
the IRGC, as well as their entire leader, nearly their
entire fleet of major mind laying ships. So the straight

(19:07):
up our moves is pretty much from the reports secure,
and estimates are that in between fourteen and sixty days
or so, it's going to be back in business. President
Trump mentioning that what's really going on here is the
fact that these people are just scared. They were scared

(19:30):
for weeks ahead of this potential conflict that became a conflict,
and now they don't know if there's minds there or
there aren't minds there. So they're a little cautious, saying,
I don't want to move the ship. These big, you know,
billion dollar oil tankers, and I don't blame them. President
Trump again making a very astute move politically, in my opinion,

(19:52):
asking over the weekend and again on Monday, for NATO
partners to step it up, for NATO partners to say, hey, listen,
we are going to help you. We have some mind
detection ships. We're going to send them out there, or
we got your back. The only one that gave any
type of sure, I got you. Once everything's done and

(20:14):
there's no more missiles, we'll send an aircraft Gary, which
was the UK Keir Starmer, who's been no friend to
President Trump lately. So very interesting to see how things
are happening. And again Trump is putting them all on notice,
and he's expected to make more remarks on that tomorrow.
So as we get those, we'll bring them to you.
But again, this that ran stuff to me. It's got
me tired. Now there's a report in the New York

(20:36):
Post that I want to get to that I think
is very interesting, interesting because it's funny and it's news
I haven't heard before. Let's see here. This was published
seven o'clock this morning by the New York Post. Trump
has been briefed that Iran's new Supreme Leader, mosh Taba Khameni,

(20:57):
who is the son of Ali come as they say,
they looked at how many. I think it's a silent
k He's probably gay, and the President has a priceless reaction. Again,
this is a piece. According to The New York Post,
President Trump was stunned to learn that US intelligence is
now indicating the new Iranian Supreme Leader, mosh Taba Company,

(21:18):
may be gay and that his father, the late Ayatola
Onli Comedy, was knew about it and he was afraid
about his suitability to rule the Islamic Republic. For that
very reason, Trump couldn't contain his surprise and laughed out
loud when he was briefed on the intel. According to
sources that leaked this to The New York Post, others
in the room also said this is hilarious and they

(21:41):
joined the President's reaction, while one senior intelligence official saying
he hasn't stopped laughing about it for days. So this
shocking claim was described by The New York Post by
the intelligence officials that were there and a third person
who's close to the White House sharing with them. All
three sources say that the implausible sounding allegation is viewed

(22:05):
as credible by the US by agencies rather than false
information that's intended to undermine mister Kameni, who's fifty six,
because he was not selected by his dad while his
dad was alive, and that if he did feel he
was a suitable successor, he would have picked him then.
Two of the sources say that the intelligence indicated that

(22:27):
mosh Taba, who earned his nickname the Power behind the
Robes while serving as his dad's gatekeeper, had a long
term sexual relationship with his childhood tutor. The third source
said that the intelligence indicated that the affair was with
a person who formerly worked for the comedy Hameni family.
Mosh Taba, who is believed to be wounded severely, blind

(22:53):
in a coma and missing a leg from the same
airstrike on February twenty eighth that killed his father and
other members of his family and the Mulla Cabinet, if
you will, has been reportedly making has made aggressive sexual
overtures to men that have been caring for him in

(23:14):
the past, possibly while under the influence of heavy medication.
So the spy agencies do not have photographic evidence of
most Tava company having any alleged sexual attractions or anything
like that with men, But sources insisted that the tip
is solid, with one saying it was derived from one

(23:35):
of the most protected sources that the government has. Oh
if it's that protected, why do they have it? Aha
taste the soup. Taste the soup that is Eddie Murphy joke.
If you've never seen the taste of soup routine and
coming to America, it's priceless. Anyway, the fact that this
was elevated at the highest level shows you that some
of the confidence in this is genuine. According to a

(23:58):
second source, most ta sexual orientation had been whispered about
in the Mullah's circle and in Iran since at least
the last year or two, since May of twenty twenty four,
and then a helicopter crash that killed their president, Abraham Raisi.
Ali comedies presumed favorite was mister Raisi, who they thought

(24:24):
would be the next Supreme leader, but that didn't happen.
So anyway, the United States government saying this has been
a pretty closely held piece of information, and again this
may be one more piece in the disinformation war. Right
what they like to call the fog of war. But
it's funny nonetheless, right, it's funny because this is a
country where if you are gay it's punishable by death right.

(24:45):
They can throw you off a roof, they can stone you,
they can do whatever they do under their very extreme
sharial law. And it's just interesting to see what's going
on with the press right the things. And I get it.
Everybody needs a break. How many more you know? You
got NETANYAHUO out there pulling on his go the punch
cord in my pocket and he shows you you know

(25:06):
how many he had to accept to more than a
dozen of the top leaders in Iran that they needed
to take out. He's got them all x out off
the list. The only one that's left is the one
that they say is in Acoma, potentially alive. There's jokes
all over these memes that are making their way around
Twitter and everywhere else of the Ayahtola and he's made
out of cardboard, and they're like, no, no, it's me.
I'm alive, trust me, I'm here, you know. And then

(25:28):
they make fun of nahing Yaho's saying that he's got
six fingers and that it's Ai And listen, you can
do anything you want, say whatever you want. I very
much doubt I doubt it. I could be wrong, but
I very much doubt that Netanyahu's gonna have all these
pre planned AI things, or even after the fact, deep
fake AI things to make him look like he's alive.

Speaker 6 (25:48):
For what.

Speaker 4 (25:49):
So at the end, when they win against Israel, they
can say, yep, he was dead, but we wanted to
keep the charade on, to keep them. I mean, what
benefit is that. You know how many enemies Bbie has
in Israel that want to take him out, that want
to put him in jail if he was dead, I
would bet that it was probably one of those enemies, right,
kind of like Trump, all right, before Iran gets to Trump.

(26:11):
I'm sure there's a bunch of lefties that would like
to take out Trump. You know, look at God forbid
what happened to Charlie Kirk, Right. Everybody wants to blame
the Jews for that, the Mossad. The Mossad did everything.
You know, I got a stomachache, blamed the Mosad, But
in reality, it was just another lefty with a bone
to pick with his panties in a bunch. Sadly, I

(26:32):
continue anyway, mosh Taba, he's Mia. He's put out a
couple of statements. Nobody knows where he is, and now
we think wherever he is, he might be in the
company of a male companion out of up. I thought
a little gossip would be funny to end this segment,
don but that was a real report in the New
York Post. Anyway, I'm coming right back. There's more to

(26:54):
come straight ahead. Keep it locked right here. I am
Rich Valdes.

Speaker 5 (26:58):
This is America. This is America.

Speaker 4 (27:15):
The forty fifth President Donald Trump thinks it's an honor
to speak with Rich Valdez.

Speaker 3 (27:20):
Oh, very good.

Speaker 5 (27:25):
The honor is all yours.

Speaker 4 (27:28):
Conservative talk with a dash of sofrito. Now here's Rich Valdez.
All right, and he goes, welcome back, Rich Valdez, still
here with you. Uh still steal, I see steal, steal,
Stop to steal the state. I can't talk right now.
The Save Act is up for a vote in the
United States Senate tomorrow Tuesday, so we'll be giving you

(27:52):
some coverage on that as we get it.

Speaker 6 (27:54):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (27:55):
Leader Thune seems to be dragging his feet. I don't
know why. I don't know why he's so uninterested in
doing this. But the reality is the Save Act, you know,
as much as Jasmine Crockett, who was recent Jasmin Crockett,
by the way, I remember I was making fun of
her and about a week ago saying that she was,

(28:17):
you know, up for reelection. We'll see what happens. Well,
you know, she lost. She's gone. I think we talked
about that briefly, but she's out and she's making her
rounds tonight on MSNBC. She's discussing, you know, the the
drawbacks of the Save Act and how the Save Act
is really nothing more than voter suppression, right, that this

(28:40):
is a bad thing. And listen, what they're gonna say
about the Save Act is that it's gonna prevent people
from voting, that it's somehow gonna stop women, it's gonna
stop black people, a woman who's been married, her birth
certificate has to match. Whatever. Understand these arguments. I might

(29:02):
even agree with some of them if they seemed genuine,
but they don't. And the reason they don't is because
if you are truly making this case right that it's
going to stop people from voting, then you should have
been against that for everything. Right. If you're pro welfare

(29:24):
and you need, or even unemployment or even social Security,
any of those things, you've got to present ID. Sometimes
more than one ID. Shoot, anytime I need to make
a change for my car, I've got to bring seven
pieces of ID. It's a seven point system in the
state of New Jersey. So if you're against all these things,

(29:46):
then you should be against all these things. You should
say there's no reason a single mom with five mouths
to feed and not a man in sight to help
her should have to present ID so that she you
can get an EBT card, so that she can get
food stamps, so that she can get welfare or temporary
assistance for needy families. Taneth That is a sin and

(30:10):
that should stop right. That's the argument you should be making,
and you should have been making that argument now if
you tell me. Look, ten years ago, I was saying
it was wrong to ask for ID for welfare, and
now I'm saying it's wrong to ask for ID to vote.
Then I will take my hat and tip it to you,
sir or ma'am and say you are the real deal.
Whether I agree with you or not, you stand by

(30:30):
what you believe in. But you can't tell me that
You support ID for shoveling snow, you support ID for
driving a car, You support ID for just about every
single thing in this world, including you know, buying the
paraphernalia you need to smoke weed, all that stuff, and

(30:51):
that somehow it's got to be okay for voting right now.
You can turn on me, say, but voting isn't voting
is a rite, and smoking wheat and the rest of
those things are not rights. I understand that, But you
tell me what's more important being able to give your
crying baby some milk because you need food stamps or voting.

(31:14):
I'm gonna say, I think voting is extraordinarily important, But
when it comes to feeding a child that needs to eat,
I think that's more important. That's more emergent. And if anything,
you know, should should be where we're lenient, it should
be that, right. But no, no, no, we're not lenient
at all. So if we're not lenient with that, we
shouldn't be lenient with anything. To feed a crying baby

(31:38):
with food stamps, you need ID, then guess what you
should need ID to vote as well? Stop being a hypocrite.
Everybody knows we need ID to do everything around here.
So that's enough. Stop saying how it's voter suppression and
you're gonna get less of course you're gonna get less votes.
The fact that the people saying we don't want to
Save Actor coming out and saying I might consider voting

(32:02):
for it if you agree to not have ice at
the voting booths. Why on earth would we talk about
ice at the voting booth if if you're not planning
on having illegal aliens vote. And I think I played
that clip for you a couple of weeks ago. I mean,
it's just insane to me. But Jasmine Crockett, God bless

(32:23):
her what I say, bless her heart. She was on MSNBC,
which I think is now called ms NOW and she
was saying that when Texas put in their voter integrity
measures that Democrats lost votes. To me, it sounds like

(32:48):
this is an admission that the Save Act is something
that we need listen to.

Speaker 2 (32:51):
This there was a benefit to shining a light on
what it was that they were trying to do in
the dark in Texas. So unfortunately we've seen our numbers
fall now that they have these voter restrictions in place.
But I do think it's important for.

Speaker 6 (33:06):
Us to have the conversation around the we've seen our
numbers fall now that they have voter integrity measures in place.

Speaker 4 (33:18):
All right, I think she said voter suppression. You've got
to You've got to be special, right, You've got to
be special. Obviously, if you have things designed to keep
illegality out, then guess what. It's probably working now. I
know some of you say, rich, you're so naive. They
say it's illegal. So's it's illegal for black people to vote,

(33:39):
it's illegal for women to vote, it's illegal for minorities
to vote. No, they're just saying, and I'm saying right now,
with the Say Act, I think it should be illegal
for people to vote without ID. Put it into sign
it now. You say, hey, look, we're gonna try and

(34:00):
implement this as quick as possible. I'm a realist. I
realize that we are eight months away or less seven
months and three weeks away from the midterm elections, and
we may, in fact not be able to implement this
in time. I hope we can, I really do. But

(34:21):
if we can't, you pass it now. Maybe that's part
of the deal to get it passed. You say, look,
we're going to get this in and it's going to
take place for the twenty eight presidential election or every
federal election thereafter, you know, maybe even twenty twenty seven
for congressional elections. I'm with it. I would prefer to
protect the midterm election because listen, I feel like if

(34:43):
we don't protect this election now and do something that's
going to drastically change things, there's a good chance that
more of the same could happen, and you put America
at war, you take all of these people with their
with their painties in a bunch, like Jasmine Crockett, who
just lost her Senate bid and now in effect is

(35:04):
going to lose her seat in Congress because she was redistricted.
These people are going to be out there in full force,
spending whatever money they have left in their Congressional leadership
fund or in any packs they're associated with, and they're coming.
They're coming for ed Trumpito, They're coming for Congress, They're
coming for the White House, They're coming for anything getting
their hands on. So, yeah, the urgency is there, but

(35:26):
I realize eight months may not be enough time to
do it, not when you got a leader like Thune
saying I can promise that we'll take a vote, but
I can't promise that it'll pass. I mean, how special
are you, sir? Very special? Indeed? Anyway, I want to
shift gears just a little bit here, a little bit

(35:47):
here to where was I? Ah? I want to talk
about Cuba. So El Trumpito, don all this. Magnus the
forty fifth and forty seventh president of these United States,
Ed Trompito, he made a prediction many years ago saying

(36:09):
that Cuba will one day be free and he might
be the president. How about that? Now? I thought that
was pretty interesting because he made this prediction twenty six
years ago. I mean, how about that El Trompito clairvoyant,

(36:30):
Miss Cleo. So now we can add that to his list,
just like Marco Rubio has a ton of jobs, Led
Trampito now has a ton of jobs himself being Miss Cleo.
If you don't know Miss Cleo, then that's I'm sorry,
that's on you. But listen to this. I got a
minute or two here on this clump clump, excuse me,
Take two with President Trump at something called La Fundacion

(36:53):
Nacional Cuano Americana. This again was twenty six years ago,
in the two thousand. Listen to don't know this, Magnus
ed don Peta, thank you very much.

Speaker 7 (37:06):
I've had a lot of offers, and sadly, it's all
been very recently to go into Cuba on deals, business deals,
real estate and other deals, and I've rejected them on
the basis that I will go when Cuba's free.

Speaker 4 (37:22):
As you know, and the people in this.

Speaker 7 (37:24):
Room know better than anyone, putting money and investing money
in Cuba right now doesn't go to the people of Cuba.
It goes into the pockets.

Speaker 5 (37:31):
Of cadel Casto.

Speaker 1 (37:33):
He's a murderer, he's a killer, He's a bad guy
in every respect.

Speaker 7 (37:37):
Casper's jails are full of dissidents, as you know very well.
His graveyards are full of patriots, and his government is
full of thoughts. And it's inconceivable to me when I
see the weak stance taken by our current administration.

Speaker 1 (37:53):
Especially with the spirit in this room, because.

Speaker 4 (37:55):
The spirit of the Cuban people.

Speaker 7 (37:57):
Is beyond any spirit that I've seen by any people,
and I've been watching it for a.

Speaker 1 (38:02):
Long time, and we can't allow him to get away
with this program of coming to this country, hiring our
best consultants, hiring our best lobbyists, and all of a sudden,
senators and various other people miraculously are on the side
of Fidel Castro. And now the battle is almost getting tougher,

(38:25):
and it should be a battle that would be.

Speaker 4 (38:27):
One or almost one by now.

Speaker 7 (38:28):
The point is that things can turn around, and they
can turn around very rapidly.

Speaker 1 (38:35):
I believe that you will have victory. I believe you'll
have victory sooner rather.

Speaker 4 (38:42):
Than later, and you will win.

Speaker 7 (38:45):
You are going to win, and I'm going to be
down here and I'm going to watch you win.

Speaker 4 (38:50):
I don't know what capacity I'll be.

Speaker 7 (38:51):
I'll either be the greatest developer in the country or
the greatest president that you've had for a long time.

Speaker 4 (38:59):
How about that? El Trumpito calling it right. He'll either
be the greatest developer or the greatest president. And guess what,
I think he might get both right after he's done
being the greatest president. And Cuba's ready for Trump Tower Havana.
I think he's gonna be there, or Trump Baradero right
because I think that's where he's going to be. I

(39:21):
think he's gonna be everywhere in the world once there's peace.
With peace comes commerce, and with commerce comes El Trompito
and everything and everybody else right, the iPhone, the android, bitcoin,
you name it. Peace. You need peace in order to
have all the rest of the stuff follow, my opinion, prosperity.

(39:41):
So that is again El Trumpito speaking at that Cuban
forum in the year two thousand, twenty six years ago.
I think that's something. Really, it really is impressive that
he's made these plans for quite a long time. It
impresses me, honestly. Go ahead, call me what you want anyway.

(40:03):
Uh here, I am almost an hour in his first
audio clip. I've played time flies when you're having fun,
and I've got so much to talk about. Plus tomorrow
Sat Patt's Day. We're gonna do some Saint Patty's Day
tomorrow as well. What else do I got here? Man,
There's a few things I want to talk about, But
let me see, let me see. I want to I
want to pace myself. I don't want to get too crazy,

(40:24):
too all over the place. But there is a lot
of interesting stuff out there. Right, let's see here and
let me see. Give me a moment. Don't rush me,
don't rush me. Oh, here we go. Well, this is
another good clip because it gives you the juxtaposition of
President Trump and what he's talking about Cuba today. Right,

(40:46):
This is fantastic. This is President Trump in the Oval
Office a little bit earlier today. Short clip, just a
couple of seconds. Listen to this. I think that's a
little low. Can we get a little volume on that.
Please please me a favor? Huh, thank you? Guard ahead,
I think you.

Speaker 3 (41:03):
But in its own way, if you know, tourism and
everything else. It's a beautiful island, great weather. They're not
in a hurricane zone, which is nice for a change.
You know, they won't be asking us so money for
hurricanes every week. But I think Cuba c the end.
You know, all my life I've been hearing about the
United States and Cuba. When will the United States do it?

(41:25):
I do believe I'll be the honor of having the
honor of taking Cuba. That'd be good honor. That's a
big honor, taking Cube in some form, you know, taking Cuba.
I mean whether I free it, take it. I think
I could do anything I want with it.

Speaker 1 (41:42):
You want another to a very weekend nation right now?

Speaker 3 (41:47):
They were for a long time, very violent, very violent leaders.

Speaker 4 (41:53):
I think you So that's Trump again, and Trump saying
I could do anything I want with it. You know,
I think people and maybe it's me, right, it could
be me, But I think when Trump says these things,
I think I could do whatever I want if if
I'm telling the truth, I think what happens here is
what he's saying is they're in such a week in

(42:14):
state that quite frankly, they're going to be willing to
cut whatever deal is available. And when you are the
one holding all the cards, then yeah, you're gonna get
your way. Now, maybe I said it a little bit
differently than he said it, but I think that's truly
the intent of what he means. But Trump does have
a way of speaking where people hear that and they go,
oh my gosh, we're going to go from one dictator
to another, right cause that's my buddy. Ruben hears that

(42:36):
and he'll say, oh my gosh, that guy sounds exactly
like Fidel. Quite frankly, if I'm telling the truth, I
could do whatever I want with it. Now, I'm not
criticizing Trump, I'd probably say the same thing. I think
that's kind of a New York way of saying things.
There's a lot of inferences that people would make on
the way New Yorkers communicate that I think would be wrong.
You know, just ask for directions. If you're ever a
tourist in New York, you might feel like they're yelling

(42:57):
at you, but they're actually being helpful and trying to
help you.

Speaker 1 (43:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (43:00):
Yeah, take a left going around two blocks. Listen and
be pay attention. You gotta go that way, right. People
just don't always understand the New York isms. Anyway, that
is El Trompito's in all of this, Magnus anyway, straight ahead,
we're gonna get into a few other things beyond Cuba,
but I think it'd be great to see what happens
in Cuba. Marco Rubio in lots of talks. He's in

(43:21):
talks for stuff happening in Europe. He's in talks for
stuff with lavrov and with the folks from the Middle
East on what's going on with Iran. And this is
big stuff because we've got to make a deal here, right.
The Russians signaling they may be providing some support helpful
to the Iranians, and while this is largely over, you know,

(43:47):
a little bit of air support, even if it's in
terms of satellites or anything like that could really buy
them some time to regroup. And one thing we know,
like I said before, they are adamant right when we
talk about the there adam and they've shown us time
and again what they're all about. They've shown us time
and again, at least my entire lifetime, that they will

(44:08):
take people and kill them while they're sleeping marine barracks
in Beirut. They will take people that are flying on
an airplane and they will hijack that airplane and keep
them hostage for more than a year. That happened right
because Carter was weak. Reagan came in. He was strong

(44:29):
to let them go immediately. Why because they knew they
didn't want that smoke. They knew how far to go.
And that was the other Ayatola with a similar sounding
name that was Komany, not cow Many. He had the uh.
I guess he had the hard k because I never
heard them calling him how many, like they call this

(44:49):
guy how many. But what do I know? You know,
my whole life the place was called Kiev. Now all
of a sudden it's called Kiev. So you know, what
do I know? I'm lucky. I've been on a plane
two or three times to different parts of the world.
I speak one or two three languages, but nothing that
uses cyrillic letters, nothing that uses Sanskrit. I'd love to

(45:11):
learn a language that you know is not Latin based.
That would be pretty cool. Right to speak Farsia or Arabic,
I would love that. I think that'd be cool. Or
even Hindi, right the Urdu, the languages in India and Pakistan.

(45:32):
I think that's that's a cool thing. All right, open
your mind a little bit. I don't know anything about
it anyway, I want you to keep it locked right here.
I am Rich Valdez. The phone numbers eight seven seven
Valdes one, eight seven seven Valides one. If you want
to join us plus straight ahead. I have a I
don't know if it's a skit or if it's not
a skit of a woman. Now largely this stuff happens

(45:54):
on a ring camera. But she drops off some food,
like you know, like uber Eats or door Dash or
one of those food delivery services through an app, and
as soon as she puts it down, she looks at
her phone and she takes the food right back and leaves.
The guy comes out and he's like, Hey, that's my food.
What are you doing? Is that my burrito? And she's like, oh,

(46:15):
did you're the guy that didn't leave the tip. She's like,
as soon as I put the order down, I click
it on my phone and I'm able to see the tip,
and you didn't put a tip. So she's like, if
you didn't put a tip, you don't deserve to eat.
And they get it. That is back and forth, and again,
I don't know if it's staged or not, just to
make you know, Internet chatter interesting topic. I want to
get your thoughts on that. When we return, don't go anywhere.
I'm Rich Valdez.

Speaker 5 (46:36):
This is America. This is America. He's making podcasting great again.
This is America with Rich Valdez.

Speaker 4 (47:07):
All right, I'mgo's Rich Valdess. Welcome back, of course, that
is Valdesta with an s here liberty loving Latino. I mago.
Happy to be here with you this evening. It is
truly an honor and a blessing. And thanks for putting
up with me. Thanks for being flexible with me, by
the way, on my schedule lately, it's been a little
bit sporadic, and I do appreciate your listenership, Please make

(47:28):
sure that you are subscribed and locked in on all
of the networks. So if you want to watch my show.
When we post those videos, we do post them after
we make them. Those are like the day after we
make them. Those are on Rumble exclusively. They're not on YouTube.
We do have one on YouTube, and I think we'll

(47:49):
be adding more to YouTube, but make sure you're subscribed
on YouTube. But the main place right now is Rumble.
We're trying to build our audience there. It's not easy
to build an audience in video. Even if you have
millions of radio listeners, that doesn't automatically become millions of
people on what I just said, video streaming. It's not
the same, but it is a great place to be.

(48:09):
Brings different types of advertisers, different honestly, a different type
of listener because those are watchers, right. Those are not
always people that want to hear what you have to say,
but they want to watch you say it. Different world, honestly,
it's one that always bewilders me. I tend to lock
in a lot better when I throw my headphones on
and where I'm kind of limited from the distraction of anything.

(48:33):
But the producer, and even that, it's got to be
a producer. I know what I like and I trust
because if it's a new producer or people walking in
and out of the control room that I could see
through the glass, guess what, that's also distracting. And I
wish I could say I was one of those professionals
that I could just you know, nothing phases me. No, no,
not really. I'm going this is my eighth year in

(48:54):
broadcasting talking on the microphone here, and yeah, it still
bothers me, even if you ever see me do TV
or even on these videos. I have one headphone on
instead of two, and it's in my ear the IFB
the small earpiece, and you probably can't even see it
in the videos. But having that in there doesn't give
you the same type of focus as having the big

(49:16):
headphones on. Right, The big head phones are kind of
like you know, pilots. You see pilots and you know
they're they're big obviously because they're in the air and
there's all that noise and the air noise, But same
type of thing. All right, You got a lot of
buttons in front of you, a lot of switches, a
lot of this, a lot of that you're locked in, right,
you kind of close yourself off from the world. It's
like my superhero Cape, if I could be so bold.

(49:39):
It's really just headphones, but in my mind superhero Cape. Anyway.
I say all that to say, please check out the video.
I would love it if you would subscribe. Thank you
for everybody I know. Our friend Al in Hawaii, mahallo
and Aloha al thank you for subscribing. Steve wolf Right,
our buddy Steve from the Carolinas. He's also locked in.

(50:02):
I just saw a message from him a little while ago,
so big thanks to them and everybody else. I spoke
with Gil By the way from the Philippines. He's doing well.
He's in good health. He says that he'll be calling
in and I'm looking forward to the rest of your calls.
Probably won't get to calls right now, but I promise
you if you call between the hours of eight pm
and nine pm, you may be able to get right through.
And if you don't leave a message, we can get

(50:24):
those messages on the air. As long as you you know,
you do it right, you do it well. And you
say I think Trump is this that the other? Because
of this that and the other on this and that topic.
Thank you, you know, and there's instructions on that when
you call eight seven seven Valdez one, which I think
makes it incredibly amazing. I got to tell you, I'm
happy for the AI that we have that is allowing

(50:45):
us to do so many things that we couldn't do
in the past. In the past, if you missed the show,
you missed the show. Now, if you missed the show,
you could listen to it later in the past. And
that's not whole AI. A lot of it is just technology,
but fantastic nonetheless. Anyway, all thirty nine individuals that were
participants in bum rushing a church I think it was

(51:08):
called Cities Church over in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with Don Lemon
immediately on the scene embedded with this militia that went
in there and stormed this church. Guess what, All thirty
nine of them have been arrested, every last one of
them by the Civil Rights Division and they're all being prosecuted.

(51:30):
I have to say kudos to Harmeat Dylan, the Deputy
Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division, for doing what
she did and going after these people. Good for her.
This is a good thing. Also, Antifa, the Antifa group
that was responsible for shooting and ambushing ICE and CBP

(51:51):
officers outside of an ICE facility in Texas, Alvarado, Texas
to be exact, all found guilty. I thought that was
fantastic news. Fantastic speaking of being found guilty, I got
some crazy stories that I'm gonna get to tomorrow towards
the end of tomorrow show, the Saint Patrick Show that
are about these crazy stories that of people just being

(52:14):
found guilty and just crazy things they've done. One that
I meant to bring to you guys, and I don't
think I did, but I wanted to, like two weeks ago.
Another crazy story, I'll just mention it roommate. There's a
couple that had a roommate and they found out that
the roommate was poisoning them. And they did this by

(52:35):
using like nanny cams and hidden cams around the house.
And this guy was going around spraying stuff with roach
spray and other types of poisons on their fruit and
on other things that where they would eat or touch,
like handles in the kitchen and stuff like that, just
to get these people sick and makes me think he's
the sick one. So if I can find that story,
I'll share. It's a couple of weeks old, but man interesting.

(52:58):
We'll get to that as well tomorrow. But I wanted
to let you guys know that we will have of course,
you know, today's show, tomorrow's show, maybe even a show
on Wednesday. But Wednesday, I am scheduled to be traveling
in the afternoon given the DHS shutdown. That's why I'm saying,

(53:20):
maybe I may have to leave earlier, which may cut
into our showtime, and I may not be able to
be with you. But I'm traveling overseas for a conference,
and I'll give you this scoop on that once I
land and I'm safe, and I'll tell you what it's
all about. But that is, you know, always fun taking
the show on the road, and I will update you,

(53:41):
you know, from abroad as I can, because sometimes he can,
sometimes he can. With these uncertain times that we're going through,
you never know what's going on and how so rather
than sit it out, I am gonna go, you know,
with my helmet on. I will keep you up to
speed on what's going on. But I say that to
say thank you, because given this new digital format, it's uh,

(54:04):
it doesn't really make as much sense to have a
guest host. So it's kind of like I can play
a rerun, I can get the guys to put something
like that together, but I'd prefer to just be with
you when I can, but I will. I'm open to
your thoughts on that as well. But if you don't
hear from me for a few days, that's why trust
it all as well, I believe now I want to

(54:25):
get into this. Oh my gosh, there's so many things
I want to get to, you know what. I'll leave
that for tomorrow. It's kind of juicy. But over the
weekend there was this protest and there were people in
New York City supporting hes Blah, supporting Hamas. And I
don't mean like, you know, tacitly, I mean like full throatedly,

(54:49):
like we are hes Bala, you know we are Hamas.
I mean, it's crazy stuff. I will play that audio
for you too tomorrow, just because I wouldn't do it
justice if I did it right now. But I do
want to get into this, which is this audio clip
of this girl, this delivery food driver and yeah, yeah,
I said it right, and or food delivery driver. I

(55:12):
didn't say it right? Who just I don't know, walked
off with the food. And again, I don't know if
this is a skit or not. It looks, you know,
kind of genuine, like off of ring camera. But nonetheless,
this is fascinating, right, even if it is a social experiment.

(55:34):
And I want to have this conversation with you guys,
because to me, this is very interesting to say the least. Anyway,
let's let her rip. Let's get some volume on this
bad boy, go right ahead. So she put the food down,

(55:57):
she walked away, She sees the tip, She turns right
back around. She makes a face of disgust. She marches
right back up the stairs, snatches the bag and walks off.
Is that is that our burial?

Speaker 1 (56:09):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (56:09):
Yeah, well it was?

Speaker 7 (56:11):
What do you mean?

Speaker 4 (56:12):
We just where's my tip?

Speaker 1 (56:14):
Bro?

Speaker 4 (56:15):
If this is your hey, what's going on?

Speaker 5 (56:18):
I can see once I deliver the orders? What's happening?

Speaker 2 (56:22):
And you guys, did is that our food?

Speaker 6 (56:25):
It was?

Speaker 4 (56:25):
We don't have to deliver? Are you serious? That's like
sitting you're going out to eat, like not tipping your server.

Speaker 2 (56:32):
So I'll give you the PA.

Speaker 5 (56:33):
You give me a ten. No, you didn't cook the food.

Speaker 4 (56:35):
You can change it in the app and I can
cook it. We didn't order it, so you just dropped
it off.

Speaker 2 (56:40):
So can we have our food?

Speaker 4 (56:41):
Blues? Are you serious?

Speaker 7 (56:42):
I like drove and picked it up.

Speaker 5 (56:43):
You guys didn't want to, like not even a mile away.

Speaker 3 (56:46):
Dude, it doesn't matter then why didn't you mean that
you wanted me to do it, but you don't want
to pay me to do The app.

Speaker 4 (56:52):
Pays you like twenty dollars. We pay those fees already.

Speaker 7 (56:55):
AP pays me so little, it's ridiculous, Like can you stop?

Speaker 6 (56:59):
And just no?

Speaker 5 (57:01):
Are you.

Speaker 3 (57:03):
Cash is better? I'm giving you cash is not.

Speaker 4 (57:12):
Now Now, she takes the food out of the bag
and she's holding it and there going what this this?
This is where I think it could be like a skit,
but either way, it presents a fascinating question. Let's listen
to the rest. All Hey, no, we're gonna okay, okay,
you're reported report it? She said. He's like stop and
she walks away and she's like, what are you gonna

(57:34):
chase me? And the balls on her. She really is
a tough one. And the guy's like, okay, report it,
report it to his buddy. She's clearly the tougher of
all three of these.

Speaker 5 (57:43):
People, we're gonna report.

Speaker 3 (57:47):
I have I don't care, okay delivery, then you'll get more.

Speaker 5 (57:52):
No not.

Speaker 4 (57:53):
If we report you, then your prayer is gonna be
over your deliver It's not my career. And again, I
don't be grudge anybody doing this. I think this is
very honorable work. I use the service all the time
and I do tip. But the uh, the guy says
your career deal where she looks at him, like my career, Like, bro,

(58:14):
I'm just trying to make it ends meet. You know,
this is not a career and and she realizes she'll
just never deliver to them again because the Apple make
sure they're not paired again. Right, Very smart girl here,
at least in terms of understanding the system. The question
is was it ethical? Was it right?

Speaker 5 (58:30):
The food didn't arrive.

Speaker 4 (58:33):
Half an hour late? Was a mile away? You heard that?
She said, I'll just say that I dropped it off
and it disappeared, and they're going to say they never
got it and that's it.

Speaker 3 (58:46):
Took so long.

Speaker 4 (58:47):
And by the way, it's super rude to not tip
your delivery drivers in your service. I bet you're that
kind of guy that goes out on a day like
doesn't tip your service? Now she bets. They're those kind
of guys. This is where it gets really good. It's like,
is this stand up?

Speaker 6 (59:00):
Is this?

Speaker 4 (59:01):
Are they putting me on? What's going on here? Something
that's true?

Speaker 5 (59:08):
But then they yeah, you shouldn't be.

Speaker 2 (59:26):
You can't tip your freaking driver giving food.

Speaker 4 (59:29):
They pay you enough.

Speaker 2 (59:30):
Oh my god, this is this is what you get?

Speaker 4 (59:37):
Yeah, it's like a chicken burrito. Yeah. Yeah, she's opening
the burrito. Are you killing She's holding it hostage. She
took a bite, she throws it out, and the lettuce
is flying. Oh my god, I love it. I think

(59:58):
this is one of the best things I've seen. I
thought it was fantastic. Anyway, this was golden for me.
I really enjoyed it. I really did, And I thought
to myself, I would love to speak with you guys
about this, and I honestly wish you were you know,
had five or ten people on hold right now ready
to chime in on this topic. But you know, you

(01:00:18):
can call me later or comment online or whatever, but
I'll still present the interesting aspects of it from my perspective,
right because I really am interested here. I think what
she did was wrong insomuch as being rude, and that's
it's the service industry, whatever service industry you're in. I

(01:00:38):
was a barber and I got tips, and I didn't
like it when I didn't get a tip. But guess what,
I would never say, you didn't tip me, you don't
get a haircut. I never did that. I would never
dare do that because guess what. My big days in
the hair cutting business were Thursday, Friday and Saturday. A
lot of guys like to get the haircut real fresh,
especially the guys that had the tight fades, and that

(01:01:00):
was my specialty. So you know, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, what
did I do. I would deal with moms coming in
with little kids, old timers, a lot of old men
coming in in the morning, early in the morning. They
want a haircut, and they come in once a month,
and you know, that's what keeps your Monday through Wednesday
filled up. And I was closed on Monday, so really
just Tuesday and Wednesday, and then Thursday, Friday, Saturday was

(01:01:24):
my thing. And I was typically off on Sundays as well,
So I understand, right, I understand it. Also if you
go out to eat and you don't tip that's not cool.
I'm a tipper, But that's not the question here. The
question is is the waitress allowed to turn to you
and say, well, since you didn't tip, I'm going to
take a bite out of your food. Right. That's never happened, right,

(01:01:46):
It's never happened to me, at least, So I think
it's pretty interesting to see the entitlement, if you will,
of a situation like this. Now, I think some would
say she did the right thing. Good for her, because
you know, how dare you do that? And how dare
you stiff this girl? And listen, she looks like the

(01:02:07):
age of my kid. Right, My big girl is twenty
gonna be twenty five. This girl looks like she's twenty
five or twenty six years old. I get it. Everybody's
just trying to grind, especially if you're a delivery driver
or an uber driver. Anybody using a car. Gasoline was
cheap and now it's expensive again, right because of this
whole ran stuff. I get it. Insurance, buying tires, car

(01:02:31):
maintenance overall not cheap. You need to make good money
if you're using your car to make money. Understood, there's
overhead there. I guess what it really comes down to,
is I'm just curious to know what people think. Are
people on her side or are they on the side
of the two bros over here that ordered one burrito

(01:02:53):
and I'm guessing they were broke. If they ordered one
burrito and they were guess they were going to split it.
I don't know, you know, maybe they didn't have a job,
or they didn't have money. But you know, I know
when I've ordered food through Uber Eats or through door
Dash or grub Hub, I can tell you that I
feel like it's somewhere between five and nine dollars more

(01:03:13):
than it is if I would just go get it myself.
So I've only done it when it makes sense or
it's worth the extra nine bucks for me to do that, right.
They charge you a three dollars delivery fee, then there's
a percentage of it that goes to the app, plus
you know, whatever else they charge. I don't know. It's
always I normally get what I get from White Castle

(01:03:35):
when I go, I think it's twelve dollars, just under
thirteen bucks. When I order it from this thing, it's
like eighteen dollars. And then by the time it hits
my credit card, it's like twenty one dollars, you know,
especially if you put in a few bucks for tip.
So clearly you're paying the premium and you're hoping it

(01:03:56):
gets there quick and you're hoping it gets their hot
and it's saving you some time. Say you're ordering while
you're on a commercial break right for the show. You're
doing that type of thing. But my point is, should
this be allowed? Is this a thing? Is this a
thing that we should be allowing and really applauding, right,
because you know some people that was on Twitter and

(01:04:17):
some of the people in the comments were really just like, yeah, yeah,
she's in the right, it's the right thing to do.
How dare you? And I thought it was an overreaction
on her part. I really did. To me, that was
just excessive. And you know some people saying Ruth Brown says,
this is why tipping culture needs to end. Then Hans

(01:04:41):
Marvel says, it's called stealing and you should report it
to the police. I say, she stole the food, which
she did. Then doctor Seuss kofif for Trump says, my
daughter used to be a door dash driver. The problem
is that when the order comes in, the tip is
already shown and then the customer, after receiving the order
is allowed to retur. Oh so that's an interesting factoid.

(01:05:03):
I didn't know about it. People say, hey, here's five bucks,
so they get their food quick and then they take
the tip back. That's wrong, that's disgusting that nobody should
do that. And one saying, she seems a little crazy.
Why do we have to tip drivers again? And let
me see that this family plays what a Z says,

(01:05:25):
I myself originally come from the hospitality industry and was
trained as a restaurant person in the land of gastronomy
in France. I worked my way up from server to
head waiter, all the way to the restaurant manager position
before I eventually changed careers. And he goes on to say,
I think this tipping culture has completely gotten out of control.

(01:05:46):
Tips are voluntary, emphasized. You already pay for the food
and the service. A tip is a voluntary sign of appreciation.
If an employer doesn't pay enough, then don't work for them,
or demand better conditions or reform. But the way things
are now, you're only hurting the gastronomy and restaurant industry.
And you know, I think that's interesting because one of

(01:06:08):
my favorite restaurants. I go to it pretty often. I
stopped in there today for a coffee and I got
it and a screen pops up this says, do you
want a tip? And I hit the minimal tip, just
because you know, on the coffee and it's a very
affordable coffee. It was something like eighty cents the tip,
and I thought, all right, you know what, I'm going

(01:06:28):
to do it. But I thought to myself, they're always
good to me there, so I want them to be
able to split some tips at the end of the day.
They work hard and they try to get your stuff quickly.
But every place doesn't involve that level of service, Like
I went to one place where it's just a cashier.
They don't serve anything. They don't really go out of
their way for anything. One girl I gave her I
think it was a two dollars tip, and she just

(01:06:50):
put I'll just put answer the question, and she said,
answer the question. I picked the middle tip just because
my daughter happened to have worked there when she was
in high school at that same place, and I always
have a soft spot, so I did. She saw me
hit it, and she didn't even say thank you, and
I was like, am I wrong? If I tell her, Hey,
I just give you a tip, why don't you say
thank you? I did not. I just went about my
business and thought to myself, I might consider not giving

(01:07:11):
her a tip since she didn't do anything other than
what she was going to do anyway, which was take
my order, punch a few buttons. Somebody in the back
was going to make the burger and they were going
to give it to me at the counter, and I
was going to walk out. It wasn't like there was
table service involved. But I thought to myself, Yeah, maybe
this tipping culture is out of control. I don't know,
but I could tell you the voting culture is out
of control. The radicalization of all sorts of culture is

(01:07:34):
out of control. And a lot of people are going
to be out of control in the bar scene tomorrow
because it's Saint Patrick's Day. So I'll leave it right
there for tonight. I always say, if you stand for nothing,
you fall for anything, and astall abrosima, you take care,
good night, and God bless you America. I'm Rich Valdez,
and this is America.

Speaker 5 (01:07:54):
This is America.
